The Game of the Decade - Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom - Review (Spoil Free...ish) Real World Review 2023-05-13 | It has been a long day, but this is my take on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. While this is a sequel to Breathe of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom doesn't follow that pattern. What I mean by that is the pattern of bad sequels. It is not often that we get sequels that are good, think of games like Call of Duty 2, Fallout 2, and even Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Most of the time we end with the 3rd act of the trilogy working, like in the movies Star Wars Episode III (I liked it and you did too, don't lie), Dark Knight Rises (again, I thought it was good), Jurassic Park III, The Terminator 3, and of course, Austin Powers in Goldmember. But then we get some sequels that build from the original and make it better, with games like Halo 2 and of course, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.One of the first games I played in the Zelda work was Minish Cap. While I didn't appreciate games like I do now, that game was so fun to play on the Gameboy. I later played games like Four Swords Adventure and of course Wind Waker, both being awesome games but Wind Waker was new. It was a fairly open world game where you would sail around to different islands. Well, I had the Zelda Collector's Edition for Nintendo GameCube (look it up), which only had a demo for Wind Waker. I couldn't buy the full game because I was like 10 years old. Not that we couldn't buy it, but I was dumb and thought other games were worth my money. That said, the Metroid and Pokemon games were worth it but regardless. Then in 2018 I got a Nintendo Switch. After playing a few games, I landed on Breathe of the Wild. I played this game way too much, and it became my go to game. Even now, I can come back and still find new things. And now, this is being replaced by Tears of the Kingdom, and who knows, maybe there's a sequel in our future. I believe that this game is perfect because it isn't. The game is crafted in a way that millions of people can play, but no one will have the exact same play through. That can be said by a lot of games realistically, but some how this game doesn't get stale like Fallout does. Both amazing games that are repetitive, but somehow Breathe of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom just work. Maybe it's the art design or the music, but somehow these games are just timeless masterpieces that don't win any awards in visuals, other than using what little they have to produce something so massive. This is one of the games that took atleast 6 years to make, technically starting 11 years ago if you include Breathe of the Wild as a base for Tears of the Kingdom. With 6-11 years of work, Nintendo ended up making 2 of the best games for the fan base that needs it. This is not "new idea, same game" like Mario or Pokemon. This is the Legend of Zelda, a franchise that is made for people that enjoy a serious tale about warriors that have to fight to keep their lands safe. This game is rated E10+, so it's made with the general demographic being kids, but also literally perfect for everyone. To me, this game series is perfection, and I can't wait to see how they can add more content to this in the future. Nothing Phone (1) - 2 cameras on the back, could be 4, technically 3. Real World Review 2023-03-04 | For some reason, Nothing gave this phone a focusable ultra-wide sensor, so one camera becomes two. The regular camera could have used the 50MP and cropped in to give you a 2x 12.5MP shot, but Nothing chose to only do a digital zoom. So there's 2 cameras that act like 3, but could have acted like 4 sensors.
