I would have finished it, but the folder containing all the files for this animation- and a few other pieces of unfinished Rain and Starseer art- somehow got erased. I am so incredibly frustrated about it, especially because that folder contained the vast majority of the art I have for them, but also because of the work I’d already put into the animation that got deleted before I could export it into CapCut. bloom - oc animation meme/amv tanimbugs 2023-04-06 | So! I meant to finish this over the week, but I got distracted with other projects (classic me) and didn’t finish this until yesterday! I’m super proud of this. I captured the vibe exactly how I’d imagined it, which is something I’m just really proud of myself for doing :) This character doesn’t have much story to it currently. It doesn’t even have a name yet- but pretty much they’re a blue dragon/deer creature that has this magic liquid crystal stuff that it carries in a pouch thing tied around its neck. It encased itself into the crystal in this cave, I’m not sure why yet but I think because it was injured? Anyways, it went to sleep, slept for a while, pretty much a coma, and then suddenly woke up because of something or other. Blue powers, gathers the liquid stuff and forms it into wings. Oh yeah, the crystal stuff? Part of their power, pretty much they use it as a tool and make it into wings. And they can form weapons and other stuff out of it. I’m still developing it. I have a separate story I’m working on right now, also rewriting old ocs from middle school, so maybe I’ll work the blue guy into the story somehow. I dunno why I gave them paws in this animation- I meant to give it hooves but oh well. I finally have designs that I’m happy with, and I definitely feel like I’ve improved with my animation and art skills since this was first made about a year or so ago. Explanation:Darkstalker wakes up from his 2000-year slumber. He is devastated at the loss of the future he’d foreseen and wanted, particularly the dragonets he could have raised and the throne he could have shared with his soulmate, Clearsight. Then we’re shown a flashback of the last time he’d seen her, when he’d grabbed her by the wrist and yelled at her, demanding to know where his scroll was. His breaking point. Then, a shot of Darkstalker, asleep, the bracelet on his wrist having sealed him in slumber which then transitions to his awakening with the bracelet broken. He rises from the mountain, then we are shown a shot of Kinkajou offering the strawberry to Darkstalker with Foeslayer and Moon present. A shot of his eyes while he is transformed by the enchanted strawberry, then end. I love love love Darkstalker’s character, although I think that he, with his morals and actions, is entirely unredeemable. He is tragic, yes, he lost everything he had- his powers, the future he wanted, his soulmate, his tribe. But his actions make him an unredeemable villain. He is a thoroughly selfish dragon his entire life. Sweetness || WoF SandWing Sisters Animation Meme tanimbugs 2022-09-03 | I started this project a few months ago and ended up kind of forgetting it/dropping it, but I picked it up again since I wanted to finish it and get a couple more projects done before school starts. (Next week!! :D)Explanation: This is supposed to be about the trio, and their alliances in the war as well as how they die. (For blaze, it’s just her being injured by her sister since she didn’t die. The Burn’s claw covered in blood, as well as Blaze’s face and Blister’s eye are kind of representing their personalities/strengths. Burn is strong and brutal, and she enjoys bloodshed, so an image of her claw. Blaze is the pretty sibling, so an image of her face. Blister is cunning and smart, as well as sneaky so an image of her eye is shown- cuz y not xD. Burn is killed by a snake, Blister disintegrates into dust, you get the idea.
