Join me as I build a custom breakfast nook, decorate with thrifted finds, install beautiful custom window treatments, and transform an empty corner into a warm, cottage-inspired space. Let’s make this autumn the coziest yet! 🧡🧡Shelby🫐🍎 Blueberry Apple Cider Recipe:https://shorturl.at/yuGz8I altered the recipe a little bit in this video.Chicken & Biscuit Pot Pie Recipe:3-4 carrots diced2 celery ribs diced1 yellow onion diced3-4 cloves garlicFresh thyme (measure with your heart)2 chicken breasts diced2 tbsp butter2 tbsp flour1 1/4 cup chicken broth2 tbsp cream cheeseBiscuits2 cups flour1 tbsp baking powderPinch of salt1 cup of milk4 tbsp. Butter1. Heat skillet over medium-hi heat, drizzle olive oil, add chicken, season with salt and pepper and cook for 3-5 minutes until browned.2. Transfer chicken to plate.3. In same skillet add onion, carrot, celery and cook for 5-7 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.4. Add in flour and cook for 2 minutes until the raw is cooked out of the flour.5. Pour in chicken stock and bring to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes. Take off heat and add in cream cheese. Set to the side in an over safe dish or skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste. START MAKING BISCUITS6. Add two cups of flour to a bowl, baking powder and salt. 7. Mix in cold cubed butter with fingers until you have a wet sand consistency.8. Add in one cup of milk and mix with hands. It might be a kind of sticky at this point, keep adding flour until it’s no longer sticky.9. Take out of bowl and fold over a few times. (I’m still working on this, so use your best judgment)10. Roll out until they’re about a 1/4-1/2 inch thick, cut out with a cookie cutter or whatever you have on hand to cut biscuits. (YOU CAN ALSO USE PILLSBURY OR OTHER CANNED BISCUITS)11.
