The idea is to create a slightly more modern working text adventure game experience, but still have it look and fell like a vintage program, with the added benefit that it will run on modern computers without need for emulation.
I'm writing the game in QuickBasic 64 (QB64), so I'll be creating playable binary files that can run on Windows, MacOS, Linux, and Raspberry Pi.
There will be BASIC09 version that will run on OS9 and NitrOS9 being managed as certain plateaus and stable releases are achieved.

Only the eroded tip stands as a mute tribute to the ancient ones-the builders of old, who wrought this silent crypt from stone dragged hundreds of miles under the ceaseless blazing heat of a contemptuous sun god.
The seal on the entrance is still unbroken-perhaps the tomb is still intact, untouched by the passage of time, impervious to the elements, still settled in quiet repose. There must be treasures. If even half of the stories about the Lost Pyramid are true. . . . . Quick history lesson: Microware created OS9 for the CoCo, there was Leve I for the CoCo 1/2 and Leve II for the CoCo 3. When the 6309 became a prevalent upgrade for CoCo 3s an optimized version was released that was 20% faster known as Nitro OS9 (NitrOS9) primarily developed and maintained by L. Curtis Boyle, Bill Nobel, and Wes Gale. Some years later that project became open source and was maintained by a few members of the community.
Fast forward to the past few years, now, back in the hands of Curtis Boyle and Bill Nobel, with a team of testers and documenters, the project has taken new life, is now known as the "Ease of Use" or EOU version, with more optimizations, a standard "GUI" known as G-Shell making it more user friendly for novices to run software quickly and easily, and support for newer hardware like the GIME-X and future devices is already in the works.
