Fun With Capcom Fighting Evolution (Dec 2004) jchensor 2010-09-15 | A old combo video I made long time ago for Capcom Fighting Evolution back at the end of 2004. I thought the game was rather silly and kinda dumb, so I went with a very silly theme for the Combo Video to match. Figured I'd start with this one.
Go Johnny Go! - A GGXX Accent Core Johnny Combo Video jchensor 2010-07-26 | Quite some time ago, three years in fact, I was asked to record a bunch of combos for Johnny in Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core for a friend so he could edit together a Combo Video he had in mind for it. However, the video never came to fruition, and I was left with a bunch of Johnny Combos that were never put into a Combo Video. For Evolution 2010, Majestros of sonichurricane.com decided to put together a Combo Video called the "Style Exhibition", in which a bunch of stylish and flashy Combos were edited together from various games. I showed him my old Johnny Combos, and he decided to use a couple of them and put them into the video. So now that the Style Exhibition has been officially released, I figured I'd just edit together all my Johnny Combos and put them into a really quick video. Yes, it has been 3 years since these combos were recorded, so they may be a tad out of date, but it's still nice to be able to put out all the Combos I had recorded finally. Thanks again to Maj for including a couple of Combos in his video. Without that, I don't think I'd ever have been spurred on to edit and release this video.

I actually had to replicate the Parry Moment in Training Mode with a pad on the PS2, since I didn't have a PS2 joystick anymore! And it was not easy! So when I noticed I did the combo with Jumping Fierce and Daigo did it with Jumping Roundhouse, I thought about re-recording them again but then just said "oh well." Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom (JPN Ver.) - Ryu 100-Hit Ground-Shinkuu-Hadouken x 3 Combo jchensor 2009-01-02 | (NOTE: This Combo was performed on the original, Japanese release of TvC. These Combos aren't guaranteed to work on the American release.) A combo from Capcom's Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom with Ryu (and Viewtiful Joe Assist). The goal of this combo was to get as many ground-based Shinkuu Hadoukens as possible, and I managed three, but it also introduces a really interesting concept for Combos: the combination of Viewtiful Joe's Assists + Mega Crash allows for the canceling of your OWN moves to open up new Combos from Supers that were previously unable to be followed up. Also, since it hits you and not the enemy, it still allows you to call Joe's Assist later on in the Combo for more mayhem!
Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom (JPN Ver.) - Karas Chain Combo Repetition jchensor 2009-01-02 | (NOTE: This Combo was performed on the original, Japanese release of TvC. These Combos aren't guaranteed to work on the American release.) A combo from Capcom's Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom with Karas (and one Morrigan Assist). For this combo, I was just trying to see how often I could put Karas's basic Chain Combo sequence (Standing Light Attack x 3/4 to Crouching Light Attack to Standing Medium Attack to Crouching Medium Attack to Standing Heavy Attack to [something]) into one Combo. So using most of the systems in the game (Assists, Staggers, Baroque, and Mega Crashes), I managed to pull off 5 repetitions of this Chain Combo and still end it with a Level 3 Super.

Evolution 2008: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Finals Intro jchensor 2008-09-23 | In 2007, I created a bunch of intros for each game to be shown before the game on Finals Sunday. This year, I didn't get a chance to make new ones, so we reused all of the same intros from last year. However, we had one new game: Super Smash Bros. Brawl. So I had to make ONE new intro this year. So I did so, and here it is. However, it uses all the same crowd footage from the intro last year, but all of the in-game footage is brand new. In fact, all of the in-game footage was taken from clips here on YouTube, and so I'd definitely like to give a shout-out and thanks to everyone who let me use their clips.
