Tears For Fears - Shout (Instrumental Cover) vdublu909 2012-12-26 | Shout was originally released in 1984. The main instrument used on this song was the Fairlight CMI sampler. I have a large library of Fairlight CMI samples, so I tried to recreate this classic. Also used was FM8 for the funky bass sound during the solo and the first solo instrument. Trillian was used for the fender bass sound. I did sample the first bar which is the triangle and metal percussion sound from the actual song. Also, the guitar tracks are from karaoke-version website, I just mixed them in with eq, compression, chorus, and a bit of overdrive.
