Nxxses Musick 2022-02-14 | After a few months of silence following his Halloween EP "Dark Prison", Nxxses is starting his reign in 2022 with a different sound than that of what his extreme metal fanbase is used to.

To usher in the new era of Nxxses, with a return to his alt-trap/dark-trap style founded within his debut album, Lucid Nightmares, comes a new, much better incarnation to the sound Nxxses had ingrained in his mind for the years leading up to this new project.

Nxxses Musick 2021-07-10 | Finally here, 5 months after his ambitious electronic album, is Nxxses' new project, Planetary Devastation!

A new 6-track EP of atmospheric slamming deathcore, Planetary Devastation tells the story of a war-torn Earth, ravaged by natural disasters and the travesty that is mankind.

A world brought to submission, stripped of its resources and ecosystems themselves, is constantly fought over and left desolate by the elite ruling class, who enslave, indoctrinate, and brainwash the mass population, killing their freedoms and abilities with each act of legislation or political thrust into their utopia for a New World Order.

Tie all this in with an apocalyptic, end-of-the-world theme and saturate it with Biblical lore and underlying concepts inspired from the Book of Revelation and other Scriptures of endtime prophecy, along with some inspiration from the popular book series Left Behind, and you have the musical novel that is Planetary Devastation.

Planetary Devastation starts with Predatory Onslaught, which details the process of the ruling elite, taking what they deem theirs and proclaiming their own throne as they spread the claws of tyranny throughout the world in each country's arms of government.

Reign Of Terror dives further into the ways these Tyrants dig their claws into the everyday lives of people in a stalwart effort to control their masses and dismember the freedoms they hold, chemically, spiritually, mentally, and physically. Exorcised Gods join me on this track to give it an explosive second half and really paint the images into the listener's mind.

Tyrant Hunter gives a vision through the eyes of the anarchist Vigilante, who makes it his mission in this dire time to seek vengeance against these Tyrants of the ruling elite, and bring them to their knees before giving them a rightful sendoff from this Earth to Hell. No mercy is given or even thought of for these destitute war criminals, and justice is considered duty to the Vigilante. In reality, this is a message for all of us to reflect on, and for those of us already on that path mentally, to encourage us in our pursuits and beliefs.

Planetary Devastation, the title track, is perhaps the most explosive and apocalyptic song of the album, further expressing the desolation the Tyrants have brought, but really having that Biblical inspiration, with lyrics directly referencing the book of Revelation and the Seal Judgments, the Trumpet Judgments, etc. This track features an otherworldly guitar solo from Hayden Crownover of Illusion Of Fate, along with some symphonics to really draw in that cinematic feel. Jacob of Moon Devoured and Glenn of Demurred also help me make this track the best it can be and double team the second half of the song, alternating between Jacob's sick gutturals and Glenn's killer combination of lows and highs, before returning to me for the finale of the song.

Kingdom Of Wolves portrays a war-torn landscape, ripped to shreds and left to rot, becoming a scavenger's paradise. This is the carcass of the Earth. The Tyrants have all been obliterated, as well as a third of the Earth's population, and now all that's left is a wasteland playground, where it's kill or be killed, and only the strong survive. Noah of The Dog Park Incident hops on for the second verse after my sequence where I sought to really induce the hardcore/beatdown sound with a very aggressive callout after the chorus of the song.

Genocidal Aftermath summarizes what the world has become after all the events that have taken place in these final days. There is nothing left but a desecrated Earth, a weathered landscape littered with body piles and mass graves. Nothing remains but death and desolation. This is the end of our world, and fittingly, the end of the album. Genocidal Aftermath closes this chapter on our universe and story told throughout Planetary Devastation.
