In my Constitutional History Colloquium class, I will be reading Our Declaration A Reading of the Declaration of Independence in Defense of Equality by Danielle Allen, The Radicalism of the American Revolution by Gordon S. Wood, and The Price of Greatness: Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and the Creation of American Oligarchy by Jay Cost.I started Our Declaration during Thanksgiving break and was able to finish it before my first exam!I also included a Black Friday book haul with gift ideas for everyone!I also finished the next Life's Library book, Why Fish Don't Exist by Lulu Miller. Hiking and Horseback Riding | Last Day at The Greenbrier chelle and poppy 2020-06-24 | Hey guys!Sorry that the vlog is a little bit late; I’ve been crazy busy!We had a jam packed final day at The Greenbrier! My sister, Emily, and I spent the morning hiking Raven Rock and the Cohosh Trails. Our map said that Raven Rock Trail would be 6.5 miles and the Cohosh Trail provided a cut through that was 4 miles. We found that from the Raven Rock trailhead it was actually shorter than 4 miles, so we hiked most of Raven Rock!After hiking, Emily and I met our parents at the pool and took a quick dip. We ended up eating poolside so that we would make it to horseback riding on time.It was a mad dash down, but we made it to our ride just on time. I rode on Rocky, Emily was on PD, and my dad was on Traveler. We also met another girl staying at the hotel who joined us on the ride! Our guides took us around the golf course on the Valley View Trail. Horseback riding was definitely the highlight of the trip for me!We finished up the night with dinner at Sammy’s at the golf club house, some shuffleboard, and desert at Draper’s.That concluded our trip to The Greenbrier.
