I'm using my new computer to edit and upload now, but my new intro doesn't have any sound, so I have to figure that out. But all my programs and apps are working nicely so I'm happy about all of that! So here we are on Oct. 1st with the new computer! I'm pretty happy with it too, because it's very similar to my old one so I didn't have too many changes. I decided to go back into the Bh cosmetics palettes I had sitting out and show them a little more love, but using the neutrals and sticking to all mattes for a change. I was happy with the way this turned out. This Blueberry Muffin palette is sooo good and I love the way the colors mix together. I need to play some more, mixing some more and seeing what I can come up with. I hope y'all are doing well. The palette I'm using today is a pressed pigment palette where the purples are done right. They are beautiful and not patchy at all, so the formulas are really good, and you know purples are the most challenging color to formulate. Be sure and use an eyeshadow primer when using pressed pigments so that your eyes don't get stained. I can't wait to use the greens and blues in this palette! I'm stretching a buck today by using leftover mask serum and my silicone mask cover to press it into the skin. This one came from Tula Skincare, but you can find them on Amazon of Shop Miss A too, and they are affordable. The thing I like about a silicone mask cover is that you can wash it off and use them again and again. Today's Fall Grunge Look evolved as I was using the Deadly Rose palette from Dede's Signature. It was my first time using the palette, but I like it and I had fun. The neutrals are really nice, and I love her mattes in the palette. The satin shimmers are nice to work with too. Next time, I'll use the greens with the neutrals and see how that goes. I checked her website to see if the palette is available and I couldn't find it, so I believe they have sold out or discontinued it, but they have lots to choose from. This palette is so beautiful on my hooded eyes, with the one reddish color changing the whole look to a cool toned purplish brown, which I love! Next time I want to use that color in the crease and let it dominate the look. With only one matte, you may want to incorporate another one from another ND palette or something else. This video turned out to be a tutorial because I just can't help myself and teach about what I'm doing and why. The one matte is a good one to help with a smokey eye, an eyeliner or the outer V. I love how cool toned it is and how it made my eyes look bigger. Just an FYI for you, the KVD Full Sleeve mascara is not waterproof and does run if your eyes water or you sneeze. I have a nice Fall themed mask from Freeman Beauty, a clay mask that exfoliates and it only takes a few minutes. It left my skin feeling so clean, mattified and so very soft! I'm trying to get a zit on the end of my nose to disappear and get rid of clogged pores and dead, dry skin. Then, I have the new collection from Nomad Cosmetics to share with you, which is very pretty, and I love the Fall colors, however I'm not a fan of the name or the theme behind the collection. I don't do Halloween or spooky stuff, but I do love Nomad Cosmetics, and these shadows are 9 mattes and 9 shimmers formulated with pumpkin seed oil. The three lipsticks are very nice, and all three colors are wonderful. I will create a look using these things for you very soon. Today's palette has the prettiest jewel tones, the shimmers are stunning, and the pastel mattes are super smooth, and everything was so easy to mix and create. I will come back to this palette very soon and work some more to create a different look using some other colors. But for today, I mixed purples and blues and then added a blue highlighter. I absolutely love how it turned out. If you have any of the products I used today, say so down in the comments. We all have our personal preferences, and you never know until you try something if you're really going to like it or not. The star of the show is the eyeshadow stick by BYOD which I used as my eyeshadow base and skipped the eyeshadow primer. This eyeshadow stick is creamy and has great staying power, and it plays well with others. I want to challenge you all to pull out those shadow sticks and start using them in your eye looks. BTW, my experiment with using the eye patches on the upper part of my eyes wasn't a failure, but I felt wacky wearing them up there. Hopefully, it helped but it wasn't a big noticeable difference. When it comes to a pink look, it doesn't matter what season it is! I'm using this new to me palette from Oden's Eye, the Spring Dragon. It is filled with pastels and only one dark shade, a really nice brown to deepen things up with. I'm using the pink shades in the palette and the brown took on a pretty purple hue when placed on top and I absolutely love the way the look turned out. I want to come back and use the blue and the green for next time together. I really like working with pastels and deepening things up with a dark shade. I hope you all enjoy the video. I want to participate in the Nomad Cosmetics Color Therapy Challenge, and so I decided to use their 10th Anniversary Celebration of the brand's remake of National Parks Palette. I've only used this once before and these greens are calling my name, so adding the pretty bronze shimmer to two of the gorgeous greens, I created a shape and winged it out while creating a pretty dramatic look for me, I think. You'll have to let me know about this look down in the comments. I told my husband these greens remind me of Bruce Lee in the Green Hornet movie, haha! The theme for today's mask is "vacation" because people go on vacation right before school starts. My skin gets dehydrated when I travel so I picked out a hydrating aloe mask from Freeman Beauty. Then, I'm sharing my Eyescream Beauty Box which has some fun singles in it, plus a couple of palettes, a lip palette from Cheeky Rose and the other is the Lioness pressed pigment palette from DeDe's Signature. The shimmers are covered with a little Styrofoam square piece to help protect them from breaking, which is a great idea! I'll create a look really soon with this pressed pigment palette. I received this in my recent Eyescream Beauty Bag along with one other named Elegance which I will use at some point but for today, these 4 shades are calling my name. First of all, I do some skincare, then the eye look and afterwards I apply highlighter and a lip look. I didn't film the complexion products being applied for the sake of time, but I mention a couple of the products I used. This month's tutorial for the Singles Road Trip look is taking me out of my comfort zone, using purples and green together. It's a dramatic nighttime look, and kind of gothic and grungy which reminds me more of Batman and Gotham City rather than Dallas, LOL! I was inspired by all three of the pictures MsCharlie sent, but I decided to do something I normally don't do. It was fun playing and I really enjoyed using the loose shimmers to add to the look. My haul today stems from a coupon code I received in addition to a refund for my missing Boxy Charm Boost item from June's replacement box. I had complained about my June box not arriving, and then they said they couldn't replace the Boost item or add another Boost product in the replacement box. That just doesn't make sense, because they ship out the Boost items in the monthly subscription boxes so why couldn't they send a replacement Boost item with the replacement box??? They refunded my Boost item amount, and then because I complained about them not offering me a replacement Boost item in my replacement box, they offered me a $25 coupon code.
