Analogue Solutions Colossus Nighttime Jam rezfilter 2022-10-17 | What's this then?Here's a little playing about on the Colossus AS-100 from this past weekend. The live playing is being actively captured by Colossus's note sequencer on the touch key bed, which is then subsequently started - running in parallel with the 64-note step sequencer. I believe this performance used 5 of the synth's 12 oscillators, and only 2 of its 8 filters, which in this video are being overdriven hard. With its vast patching, pinning, modulation, and sequencing capabilities, you can be as simple or as complex as necessary to fit your application.It never ceases to amaze me.

Late Night Minimal Colossus Patch / Sequence rezfilter 2020-12-08 | This was not multi-tracked and was recorded live. It's a single patch.Featured here is the Analogue Solutions Colossus mega-synth performing a minimal electropop sequence. 4 oscillators of 12 were utilized in this patch, along with some white noise for the hi-hats. Most sounds were kept dry in this patch, with the exception of the lead sound, which was run through 1 of Colossus' spring reverb tanks. 2 filter types were used, including a single 12db filter as well as a 24db filter.

Analogue Solutions Impulse Command and Fusebox with Generator Sequencer rezfilter 2019-10-03 | More Impulse Command and Fusebox!Here's a quick little jam featuring sounds from these synths only being played live. Logic is sending MIDI clock start/stop to the Digitakt drum machine, which is then sending clock to the Impulse Command synth.The Generator Step Sequencer is also receiving noted clock from the DAW (great way to sync) and is being played live via the touch pads. This modulates the pitch of the Impulse Command as well as the filter.The Fusebox is being played live via the keyboard but is clocked (Patternator) via the DAW.No external effects were used on either synth (Impulse Command FX can be heard when they are activated).Recognize the tune? The drum machine's output is fed directly into the IC's INPUT, and is then further processed and tweaked manually via the synth itself. Clocking/Syncing the Impulse Command to the drum machine, and then processing the output of the drum machine through the filter and FX can create some amazing, unique drum sounds and patterns.More soon.

All sounds are entirely Fusebox (sans drums) and were programmed, played or sequenced, and then recorded into Logic.
