Gobos Light Texture Setup in Blender Jouleconcepts 2025-02-16 | It used to be that you would have to model geometries and scatter them in the background to cast shadows from the ray of light into your main shot. This technique had limitations as render times were usually high due to many polygons from the geometries scattered.Then comes #Gobos Light texturing setup, which takes a 2D grayscale image plane of the same elements and pastes them onto your light. This is a fake effect that comes through the rays of your light onto your scene. Though fake, it's a time saver and it works fine.That is what this video is about. You will learn how to set this up in the #blender application.
