12 Years on Youtube! mixiepixie7 2021-06-14 | It's my 12th year on YouTube! Thank you to all who have stuck with me to this point! Your support of mixiepixie7 means the world to me, seriously ♥︎ Today also marks my last day on AGTube, creating for this wonderful community and while I'm SO sad, I know that it's time to close this chapter and start a new one. There were several contenders that lead me to making this decision, it wasn't because I don't like American Girl anymore, these dolls will always have a special place in my heart. First and foremost, my revenue has been slashed by the new ad regulations put in place by COPPA this past year. While Patreon was a huge help to push me through 2020 (thank you!), the time that it takes to film videos is becoming harder and harder to justify when the pay hardly equals the labor. Plus, I'm about to start my senior year of college. I want to be able to focus on that. The last straw was finding out that my parents are moving and I'm about to lose my dollhouse. I know that I could build a new one somewhere else but I also can just feel the shift in my life that's coming. I'm about to graduate and start a real job and I'm not going to have time to work on this channel. I'm at peace with the timing of everything. Saying Goodbye! (American Girl Stopmotion) mixiepixie7 2021-06-05 | Hi, everyone! This is the last stopmotion I'll be posting for the foreseeable future. As you could tell from Cassie's video, my dollhouse is packed up and my parents have already moved. My dolls are currently in storage with the hopes of bringing them out for my future kids (or my siblings' kids) one day. I'll be posting one more video in a few days to celebrate 12 Years on AGTube, but after that I probably won't upload anything else unless it's a mail video or something along those lines. It's interesting how back in the spring I made a Stopmotion With Me Q&A in which one of the questions was "would you ever make a summer movie" and my answer was a hard "N.O." just because I'm always so busy in the summer. As y'all know, for the past 6ish years I've been going to camp in the summer and always have to prefilm a lot of content to upload while I'm gone and then when I get back it's a catch up game to make sure I'm prepared for the school year. However, this summer didn't quite go as planned with a worldwide pandemic and so camp wasn't as long and I had a solid 4 weeks home before I moved back to school to work on videos-- including this TEN MINUTE stopmotion. A Q$A with Reid and Asa ;) (American Girl Doll Stopmotion) mixiepixie7 2020-05-09 | This is probably one of the fastest I've ever filmed and edited a stop motion... it was exam week and I didn't think I'd be able to post anything this weekend, but I pulled this together in pretty much a day and i think it's pretty cute! I'm officially in summer now and it feels so good! I'm working like crazy to get ahead on videos to post while I'm working at camp (our camp is still happening, but it's delayed and it's going to look really different.)! My Trip to the American Girl Place in NYC mixiepixie7 2020-05-02 | Okay so before you freak out because no one in this video is social distancing, this was filmed at the beginning of December when I went to visit Brittany in NYC! Thanks sooo much to American Girl for the opportunity to review this incredible product! I'm really really REALLY excited to start creating videos that feature it more! I hope y'all found this video to be helpful; I definitely agree that the van is an iNvEsTmEnT$$$$$ so I was hoping that by a looking video like this it could give you a better idea of what you're buying! I do recommend it, the only thing I'd say is it would be so cool if it was remote control (it's really really heavy).
