She ushered in a 400-year war with her neighbor Karzoug, and established demonology as the informal religion of Bakrakhan. In her endless pursuit of power, Alaznist also formalized the study of fleshwarping, and personally propelled it to new heights through the addition of Sin energy. Here experiments eventually resulted in the creation of the sinspawn, fearsome soldiers who changed the face of Thassilonian warfare forever. Secular political power had upstaged her faith as the driving force in Thassilon. In response, Lissala began to retreat from the world, leaving her clerics powerless in the Age of Darkness. Though born to wealth and privilage, Xin broke with his nation's traditions, and delved into the forbidden magics beyond his homeland's borders. When Xin and his apprentices were finally exiled for their academic herecies, they fled their native land, and set out to make a new nation for themselve. This new empire would become Thassilon, and Xin would become it's legendary First King. Xin and his followers eventually developed a new theory of magic which drew upon the archaic and mysterious runes of the goddess Lissala. But, in working directly with the language of creation itself, Xin and his mightiest apprentices- whom he dubbed the Runelords- exposed themselves to a terrible danger. As Xin isolated himself from the world, and devled further and further into his own magical theories, the Runelords became corrupted by Sin. So great was their fall, that the seven former apprentices soon found themselves plotting the death of the man they had once called master. Pathfinder Deities - Ketephys Podfinder 2024-07-19 | Podfinder's Elf Month concludes with Ketephys, the Hunter. As the patron deity of forestry, her is an expert marksman and tracker, but puts special emphasis on conservation, and the protection of the natural world. This puts him at odd with Treerazer, the demon attempting to corrupt the elf gates.
