Glad to finally get this off my back after….6 years. This level has been dead longer than it’s been alive. It was finished at one point but I hated it. I wanted to just forget it and release it anyways but I would’ve felt ashamed to release it in the state it was especially since it was gonna be after Deimos and Instinct. Im WAY more proud of how this turned out in the end. Although it is nothing special, nothing more than a design level, with a few parts being way better than others, I appreciate all the hard work that everyone put into this level and I obviously couldn’t be more thankful of their help.I would have replaced more of the older parts and redo more gameplay. But it simply came down to time and creators that fit for the level. Design style is a dying genre unfortunately so replacing more parts would be killing the level instantly. This was very fun to build and is definitely one my favorite things that I’ve made. I’m very proud of how gritty and grimy I was able to make this part feel.Just like Phobos & Deimos, we have a red part right before the second drop to honor Andromedas Phobos part once again.The level is going well and pretty slow at the same time, it’s harder to get decorators than I thought. [TOP ?] Elysium Mons | Preview 1 [Deimos Sequel] ItsHybrid 2024-03-08 | Here we go again.After more than a year of development, I can finally show this level off to the public. 2 years after Deimos was finished, and after 7 months since it’s been verified, I proudly present the finale(?) to the Phobos series; Elysium Mons.The level started 12/18/2022, and was put on hold momentarily after the 2.2 release date was revealed. I had stalled the level until the update came out to continue building so we could “Phobosify” the level, making the level half 2.1 and half 2.2. I’m mainly focusing on memorability, charm, and in-cohesion; a modern day Phobos. A level that is truly the culmination of chaos.Despite this level being quite stressful to host, I believe it’s the most fun I’ve ever had hosting a level. Although this is mostly due to the to the fact I’ve grown quite close to all the members, and has ultimately turned into a group of friends coming together to make an incredible level. Hosting this has been unlike any other collab I’ve hosted, and I truly thank all of them for making this a better experience for me.I will explicitly mention that this is a very rough, unpolished and unfinished (obviously) version of the level. See this preview as Deimos preview 1 was compared to the full showcase. Many things are subject to upgrades, and replacements.As for the level’s difficulty….I have no clue lol.I will keep the difficulty a complete secret even for me, until the level is out and rated. All I know right now is that the level is quite IMPOSSIBLY hard, that’s all you’re getting.My goal by the end of this level’s development, I hope to make a memorable and charming level. Something that represents the many styles of creating throughout the game. Something that represents the culmination of multiple updates. Hopefully something that fits as an ending to this legendary series. All I can say now is to stay tuned for the future of this level. [TOP 1] My part in EGO ItsHybrid 2023-09-30 | I haven’t uploaded any of my mega collab parts in ages so I figured I might as well upload this to show I’m at least not terrible at decorating before 2.2 comes out. I finished this about a month or two ago and never planned to reveal it until it until the first preview. This is my first attempt at an “art-ish design” style and I’m very surprised at how this turned and I’m pretty proud of it. Instinct | FULL LEVEL [Official Mystic Sequel] ItsHybrid 2023-06-30 | Been awhile.I know this level will get a lot of mixed responses, but that was to be expected considering what the goal of this level was. Instinct is the “Mystic sequel, and the final level in the “Valor” trilogy (Or the “Pokémon GO” trilogy some would say). With that being said, Mystic is obviously not the best level visually, although because of that, it has a lot of charm. I wanted to recreate the charm old Instinct had, and what Mystic had, into a somewhat more modernized version of Instinct, being incohesive in quality and decoration style.Now with that out of the way, I’m very happy to finally be the host to finish this level off after almost 7 years, while also having it on my belt for nearly 4 of those years. I’m very proud of how this turned out and I hope I did the ending to this trilogy justice. The level is projected to be around extended list difficulty or a little easier. This level will be my endgame.This level is VERY special to me. This level is full of multiple different meanings and intentions, and it was made with many emotions. The goal for this was to make the most fast paced, most intense level this game has ever seen. I had a vision for this and I was very set on accomplishing it, and I think it turned out amazingly. This level has quite the history, it’s even older than Keres. The first version of EGO was started and finished by me back in 2017. It was always set to be a top 1 that would be hosted by me some day. Ever since then, it’s been through multiple different versions throughout the many years of its existence. Deimos | FULL LEVEL [Official Phobos sequel] ItsHybrid 2021-10-13 | After about 10 months, Deimos is finally finished! This level was blast to host, the whole process was an absolute journey. A LOT has happened since the first preview and I just wanna thank all the new people I met and supported me throughout the creation process of this beast. As you can tell, the theme is 1.9-ish mixed with a lot of modern features to stay reminiscent of Phobos while also being up to par with today’s level standards. I feel like I did a pretty job at making this a fitting sequel to Phobos. I let everyone do their own thing with some guidance, and I didn’t keep the level too cohesive to fit Phobos. In its current state, the level is top 1 difficulty, but its expected to be around top 5 difficulty when play testing and balancing is done. I actually did have my own before but then I cancelled it after Akira Kurisu made his. I started this level because 1, Akira quit and his Deimos died. 2, I had just started playing the 1.9 PS, so the idea of making a 1.9ish Deimos reminiscent of Phobos came to mind. Our goal with this level was to make a better looking sequel than Akira’s ever was, staying more to the original by having a 1.9ish theme. Keres | FULL LEVEL ItsHybrid 2021-02-13 | Here we finally have it, after a year since the final preview was released, and 3 years since I started the project, Keres is finally finished. I’m extremely happy and relieved to finally have this done, thank you all to the people who’ve supported me and the level throughout its existence. I’ve formed my whole gd career so far while this level was still being built on, this level is what boosted me and made me more noticed. I’ve met many people along the way who I’m very thankful for. Ever since I started this level, Ive made many great and close friends, even lost some. It was a long journey and I’m glad it’s finally finished. Who knows what’s next, I don’t know if any more of my upcoming projects will have a long journey like this one. But we’ll see, I don’t mind experiencing something like this again, not at all.About the level though, clearly there’s been a LOT of changes since the last preview. There have been improvements in almost every single part, which I think really makes this level feel complete now, it honestly looked a bit dead before the improvements. Molten Mercury Sequel | PREVIEW 1 ItsHybrid 2020-12-02 | Here we have it, the 3rd and final level in the series. Making it the end to the trilogy.Wow a red level that isn’t hell theme! The deco for this is a mix of Tempered Steel and Molten Mercury, (industrial/molten), as you can tell by some of the lava in specific parts. Also if you haven’t noticed already, the color themes for each level goes yellow - orange - red, meaning it gets “hotter”. I’m happy to finally get this preview out because these parts have been done for a while but I’ve been stalling on purpose because it’s not good reveal a sequel on the literal day it’s predecessor came out.
