We start out with room service delivered breakfast on the balcony, as we watch the ship pull into the dock. Once ready for the day, we set off to the adult's only beach called Serenity Bay. Here we check-in for our private cabana!Cabana's on Castaway Cay are notoriously difficult to book. Not only because there's so few of them, but because Concierge guests get priority in booking them, followed by Platinum Castaway Club members, then Gold members, then Silver, before first time cruisers can even try and get one. There are three categories on the island, Serenity Bay, Family and Grand. Prices start from $399 for four guests, up to $949 for 10 guests. We give you a full tour of the cabana, as well as share the amenities that come included with the price, and what the overall experience is like.After a fantastic day on the island, we make our way back to the ship via a courtesy golf buggy (pargo), which dropped us off at the tram stop. Once back onboard, we take some time to get ready for dinner, and enjoy a relaxing drink and pre-dinner up on the Concierge sun deck on Deck 13. Whilst we skipped the show today due to time restraints, we managed to tour Mickey's Mainsail store with next to nobody around, pop into Treasures Untold and visit the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge. For dinner, we dined at Arendelle, a Frozen themed entertainment and dining experience. We some of the show from an excellent table, as well as our review of the food.After dinner we get to meet Captain Minnie, as well as Lady Lilly and Lord Leopold in the ship's Grand Hall (atrium). We start with breakfast in the Concierge Lounge where we try (almost) everything on the A La Carte Concierge menu. We also get lucky and manage to catch the 'When You Wish Upon a Star' ship horn.From breakfast, we adorn our swimming shorts and head to the Senses Spa. Rainforest passes vary in price based on the ship you're sailing on and the length of the cruise. For our sailing, it was approximately $160 per person, and included access from 8am - 10pm during our cruise. The Rainforest includes hot stone beds, a Sauna, Steam Room, Frigidarium, Hot Tubs, outdoor lounge seating and even cooling towels. You're given rooms upon check-in, and there are changing rooms and lockers available.Later in the morning, we take the Walking the Wish tour, a guided tour that tells you some of the little known details about the Imagineers' ideas behind the design of the ship. This is also a great tour to familiarise yourself with the layout of the ship. From there, we pop back to the Concierge Sun Deck up on Deck 13 to enjoy some lunch and a relaxing spiked Dole Whip smoothie.Kieran and I have a race on the Incredi-course inflatable obstacle course up in the Hero Zone, before we part ways and I head to a 75 minute deep tissue massage, and Kieran takes a ride on the AquaMouse. We reconvene in the Rainforest Room, with a recap and review of each of our experiences. Heading into our evening, we head out to the outdoor seating on Deck 12 (just outside the Concierge Lounge) and enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail, alongside some nibbles served on the evening grab and go menu. It's then off to Palo Steakhouse for a beautiful dinner! We share our review of everything we try, share how the Platinum Castaway Club discount works and let you know how much our A La Carte meal cost. This restaurant is not included in the cruise, and comes with an up-charge. It's also adults only.After dinner, we enjoy a bit of the Pirate Night atmosphere with a sampling of the Pirates in the Caribbean show and fireworks. We also go to see The Little Mermaid show in the Walt Disney Theatre. Here, I give you a room tour of a West facing Deluxe Studio (8713). From WDW, we take the Disney Cruise Line transfer to the dedicated Disney Cruise Line terminal at Port Canaveral in east Florida USA. The round-trip cost for this transfer was $80.00 pp. Upon arriving at the port, we head to the Concierge check-in desk, and are then escorted to the new and expanded Concierge Lounge. Upon boarding the Disney Wish, we enter the beautiful atrium, otherwise known as the Grand Hall. Not only that, Flynn Rider and Rapunzel are there to greet us too! Our first stop is upstairs to the beautiful Concierge lounge. Here we give you an overview of the lounge's layout, check out the outdoor seating on deck 12, tour the self-serve drinks and food offerings, as well as the outdoor lounge on deck 13 with hot tubs, lounge chairs, sofas and Dole Whip smoothie on-tap! From there, we pop into the Oceaneer's Club via the atrium's slide, before enjoying a Concierge lunch at 1923 (Walt).It's then to our Concierge Family Oceanview with Verandah stateroom (12518), located just a few meters from the Concierge Lounge on Deck 12, Forward. We give you a full stateroom tour, showcasing the split bathroom layout, the Tangled/Rapunzel theme, the storage space throughout and some of the extra things you get in a Concierge stateroom.As this is Kieran's first Disney Cruise, we of course had to do a ship tour to introduce him to the Disney Wish. We explore the upper decks and the DCL funnel, the adult only spaces (including Cove Cafe and the Smoking Area), Wonderland Cinema, Luna, Fairytale Fresh Laundry, the Grand Hall, Promenade Deck (including the bow of the ship, Senses Spa and Rainforest Room, Hook's Barbery, The Rose Bar, Palo, Enchante and The Walt Disney Theatre during our 'back to normal' muster drill. When it's time to 'Set Sail on a Wish' we head up to Deck 12 to enjoy the sail away party! I pretty much share the whole show to give you all the Disney magic feels. The show features Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Rapunzel, Flynn, Prince Charming, Cinderella, Moana and Fairy Godmother herself! Our cruise director then come's out to start the countdown to the Disney Cruise Ship horn!Sailing out of Port Canaveral aboard the Disney Wish, we get to hear several of the ship's horn songs, including 'A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes', 'Do You Want to Build a Snowman', 'Be Our Guest', 'it's a small world', 'Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee (An Actor's Life For Me)' and of course 'When You Wish Upon a Star.' Our evening show was Seas the Adventure, followed by dinner at 1923 (Roy). We enjoy a fantastic meal, including appetiser, soup, main (entree) and dessert. From dinner, we head to Luna to enjoy the adult's only entertainment of Match Your Mate. After that, we're officially beat, and head back to our stateroom to find some turn-down magic and find our Kieran's first impression of being a first time Disney Cruiser. Early morning ride on Expedition Everest at Disneys Animal Kingdom (#waltdisneyworld , FL) Adam Hattan 2023-03-22 | Expedition Everest is an exhilarating roller coaster attraction located in the Asia section of Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. As guests approach the attraction, they are immediately drawn to the imposing sight of a massive snow-covered mountain peak looming in the distance, which serves as the iconic backdrop for the ride.The queue for Expedition Everest is an immersive experience that transports guests to the foothills of the Himalayas. The detailed theming begins as soon as guests enter the queue, with prayer flags, stone carvings, and artifacts scattered throughout the area. The queue winds through a village and a monastery, where guests can observe intricate decorations, paintings, and statues that set the stage for the adventure to come.After making their way through the monastery, guests reach the loading area where they board a train-themed coaster vehicle known as the "Himalayan Escapes" tour company. The coaster vehicles are designed to resemble vintage steam trains, complete with weathered wood and rusty metal accents, giving the impression of a well-worn expedition vehicle.As the journey begins, guests start off on a leisurely tour of the Himalayan landscape, passing through serene scenes of misty mountains and dense forests. But soon, the adventure takes an unexpected turn as guests encounter evidence of a fearsome creature known as the Yeti, who is said to inhabit the mountain. The coaster picks up speed and begins a series of twists, turns, and drops, as guests race through the mountain in search of the legendary creature.The coaster reaches thrilling speeds, with sharp turns and sudden drops that create an adrenaline-pumping experience. The track features multiple near-miss encounters with the Yeti, as the creature reaches out towards the coaster vehicles with its massive, menacing claws. The special effects, including mist, lighting, and audio, enhance the thrill and immerse guests in the story of the Yeti.One of the highlights of Expedition Everest is the iconic "Broken Track" scene. As guests round a bend, they come face-to-face with a torn section of the track that appears to have been ripped apart by the Yeti. The coaster then reverses, and guests find themselves hurtling backwards in the dark, adding an element of surprise and excitement to the ride.The ride culminates in a thrilling high-speed chase with the Yeti, as guests narrowly escape the creature's grasp and race back towards the safety of the base camp. After that, we ride Goofy's Sky School, The Incredicoaster, Toy Story Midway Mania, Web Slingers and Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout.For lunch, we dine at the Lamplight Lounge. This was a tricky reservation to get, but I thankfully booked our dining reservations 60 days out on the Disneyland website (the earliest you can make Disneyland dining reservations). There we share our review of the meal, before grabbing an ice cream dessert at Clarabelle's and taking a look at the merchandise on the way out. Back at the Disneyland Hotel, we say goodbye to Kieran and I announce that we're going on a Disney Cruise this Spring! Gary and I then wrap up the series, with a trip report of our whole experience. A rest we very much needed after four very intense park days. We decide to venture to the neighbouring hotel: Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This hotel is a bit more expensive than the Disneyland Hotel, and is ultimately why we didn't choose to stay there. However, it was great to have a walk around the lobby, merchandise shop, and dine at their quick service: Craftsman Grill.From the Grand Californian, we walk through Downtown Disney to the World of Disney shop. This massive Disney Parks store offers some of the things you might find on ShopDisney, as well as Disney Parks exclusives. We check out some of the apparel, collector dolls, Disney100 collection and more.After a quick rest at the Disneyland Hotel, it's then off to Sweethearts Nite! This 'Disneyland After Dark' is what's commonly referred to as an After Hours event. These are seperately ticketed events that allow you to experience some party exclusive opportunities after the park has technically closed for the day. During the party we ride: It's A Small World, Jungle Cruise, Flying Dumbo's and the Carousel. We grab a bite (literally) at the Bengal Barbeque, eat a small meal at Docking Bay 7 in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and check out some of the event exclsuive merchandise. Whilst the length of lines restricted how much we could do, we did manage to do an Aladdin themed photo op, meet Mickey & Minnie, Donald & Daisy and Esmeralda & Phoebus, as well as watch the Sweethearts Nite fireworks from Main Street. By 11pm, we were exhausted and felt like we'd got everything out of the party we could have. On the way back to the hotel, we answer the question: Is Sweethearts Nite worth the money? ($159 per person, plus tax). We were very much speaking from the perspective of UK guests who have flown a long way and already spent a lot of money to be at the resort.We round up our day back at the Disneyland Hotel and turn in before another fun filled day at Disneyland in the next vlog. We then walk to Downtown Disney and board the monorail! The monorail runs from the end of Downtown Disney (opposite the LEGO store) into Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park.Arriving in Disneyland, we walk through the Sleeping Beauty Castle walk-through attraction. Followed by riding Alice in Wonderland, before a walk from Fantasyland into Frontierland, for lunch at the Golden Horseshoe quick service restaurant. There we give you our review and share how much it costs to eat in Disneyland's Golden Horseshoe.Venturing back into Fantasyland, we ride The Matterhorn Bobsleds with a Genie+ Lightning Lane return time, Snow White's Enchanted Wish with a 20 minute wait and Peter Pan's Flight. It's then into Tomorrowland where we meet Darth Vader from Star Wars, and ride Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage (newly refurbished). After that, we were pretty beat. So we take the monorail back to the Disneyland Hotel and rest for the afternoon. For dinner, we eat at Goofy's Kitchen. This is a character dining buffet, and in the video we tell you how much it cost, and share our full review of the dining experience and whether we thought it was value for money. We then walk back to Disneyland to see their new nighttime spectacular for the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company: Wondrous Journeys. We camp out to get the best view we could, and share a front facing overview of the show.It's then with the rush of the salmon to Frontierland, to catch the 10:30pm showing of Fantasmic! A little different from Walt Disney World, this is mainly standing only space, and requires some forward planning to be able to get a good view. We share our thoughts on both shows, before making our way back to the Disneyland Hotel and calling it a day. Gary dresses as a rabbit, and it's all laughs from then on! Walking into the park, we spot Madame Moo Moo Sharoo herself, Clarabelle Cow! After a meet and greet with her, we stroll down Buena Vista Street and meet one of the citizens of California Adventure (the Policeman). We grab a quick selfie with him, wave to Minnie Mouse, and have a meet and greet with Mickey Mouse.Starting our tour of California Adventure Park, we head to Pixar Pier to ride the Incredicoaster! I vlog our reactions to the launch and show you a bit of the POV (point of view). Strolling around the pier, we take a ride on the swinging Pixar Pal-a-Round, the Silly Symphony Swings and check out the Luna New Year celebration, where Ortensia and Oswald meet, some authentic asian musicians perform, and we check out some of the Luna New Year food offerings.It's then to Avenger's Campus, where we see Spiderman fly through the air, we have a little Moo Moo Sharoo around the land, ride Web Slingers (featuring Tom Holland) and grab lunch at Pym Test Kitchen, whilst also watching some of the Black Panther stunt show. During the day, we ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout, draw Daisy in the Animation Academy, pop into the Beast's Library within the Sorcerer's Workshop, shop at Off the Page, ride Mike and Sully to the Rescue, catch a glimpse of a feral cat at Disneyland, watch the Doctor Strange show and the Luna New Year parade, before settling into dinner at Wine Country Trattoria. There we give you an overview of the dining experience, our full review of our meal and share our thoughts on MagicBand+ and answer that age old question, is MagicBand+ worth it? We also dine on the World of Color dining package, share how much it costs, how you get it, the menu you get to choose from and how you use your tickets to access the reserved viewing area later in the evening.Rounding up our evening, we ride Radiator Springs Racers and the Incredicoaster in the dark, before using our World of Color dining package tickets to access the show about 40 minutes prior to start time. They had standing space, and accessible space with a few benches. It definitely paid off going early! We got to see a special Luna New Year pre-show called Hurry Home, followed by World of Color One, which is new for the Disney100 celebration. Mickey and Minnie wave us goodbye, before it's back to the Disneyland Hotel, for a well earned sleep, but not before some amazing milkshakes from Black Tap in Downtown Disney. Starting out our day in the Disneyland Hotel, we give you our review of the Karmel Shuttle service from LAX to the Disneyland Resort. It's then off to Disneyland via Downtown Disney! Arriving at the gates, we scan into the park with our MagicBand+ each, then look at booking our first Genie+ return time. Our adventure begins with a magical welcome on Main Street USA with Minnie Mouse, Chip and Goofy in there Disney100 outfits. We also show some of the Disney100 decorations that have brought a little extra magic to the park and especially Sleeping Beauty Castle, before breakfast at Jolly Holiday. After some Photopass photos in front of the castle, we head to our first attraction Space Mountain! There we show you what happens when you check-in to a Lightning Lane with a Genie+ reservation, whilst wearing a MagicBand+Whilst in line for Space Mountain, we got our notification to say our boarding group for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway has been called. It was then a hop, skip and a jump over to Mickey's Toontown, which is currently undergoing refurbishment. Whilst on the ride, we share some of the differences from the attraction in Hollywood Studios, in Walt Disney World in Florida. We then ride our favourite version of It's A Small World!It's then off to a galaxy far far away! Where we managed to get a Lightning Lane for Rise of the Resistance (this was a one time purchase, seperate from Genie+). For lunch, we head into New Orleans Square for a little Moo Moo Sharoo around the winding streets, we meet Red from Pirates of the Caribbean, and then enjoy a table service meal at one of the most popular restaurants in Disneyland, the Blue Bayou. During the meal we share what we ordered, and give you our review on the food quality, service and atmosphere.For the remainder of our time in the park, we ride Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain and meet Mickey Mouse, Chip and Dale in their Disney100 outfits. We start out by arriving at London Heathrow. Where we pick up dinner from Pret A Manger and check-in to the Aerotel at Terminal 3 for an overnight stay before our flight. There we give you a room tour, share our holiday plans and how we got a cheeky upgrade to Virgin Atlantic's Upper Class. On our full travel day, we make our way from the hotel over to Virgin Atlantic's check-in at Terminal 3. Upon arriving at the Virgin Atlantic/Delta check-in. At the check-in desk, I needed to show our 'Fly Ready' confirmation. You can complete 'Fly Ready' up to 72 hours prior to departure. This is an online tool that you'll be emailed a link to, or you can access it from the 'my booking' page on Virgin Atlantic's website. On the online 'Fly Ready' portal, I needed to upload our Covid-19 vaccination certificates (from the NHS app), complete an attestation form and confirm our address whilst in the USA. After check-in, we pass through the private security in Virgin's Upper Class Wing. We needed to present our boarding pass to scan into the Upper Class Wing.After getting some snacks and essentials from WHSmith and Boots, we relaxed in the Virgin Clubhouse, Virgin Atlantic's Upper Class and Gold Member lounge. We flew on an A350 (Rosie Lee) that was in excellent condition, in seats 10K and 11K (the back of Upper Class for this particular aircraft and layout). Onboard the flight we share an overview of the Upper Class experience and review the inflight meal. I also give you a seat tour, show you the inflight menu and what movies are onboard Virgin Atlantic in February 2023.Upon arriving into LAX (Los Angeles), we utilise Karmel Shuttle for the first time to Disneyland Hotel. This took about an hour and half in traffic, but would normally take about 45 minutes outside of busy times. The shuttle was on the pricier side at approximately $180 for the two of us. However, most transfer services are around this price in the LA area. Since this one was recommended by Disney, and being less familiar with alternatives, I thought it best to book this one.Arriving at Disneyland Hotel, we check-in to our Deluxe Room and give you a full room-tour. Once the bags were dropped, we walked to Downtown Disney to pick-up our complimentary Disney100 lanyard and pin (an offer for booking through Walt Disney Travel Company on www.disneyland.disney.go.com). We also bought a Disney100 MagicBand+ each, which allows us to enter the parks, utilise Genie+ return times and enjoy some interactivity during select attractions and shows. Located in Oxfordshire, England just a short drive from the likes of Oxford and Bicester Village, it's a lovely place for afternoon tea, a pleasant outdoor stroll or for a tour of the rooms within the palace.Every Christmas, Blenheim puts on some special festive fun. This is the newest Disney Vacation Club resort and is based in the Epcot resort area of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, USA. DVC is Disney's version of timeshare, in which you can pre-pay and in theory save in the long-run. I'm staying in a 1 Bedroom Villa, but prior to the room being ready, I give you a full tour of the resort, showing you the entrance, lobby, check-in, bell services, La Boutique merchandise store, Le Petit Cafe, Voyagers Lounge, adult pool, family pool, outdoor games area, Primo Piatto quick service, Bar Riva pool bar and grill, Skyliner station, murals and more! Once the room's ready, I give you a full tour of the kitchen, living room, master bedroom, balcony and bathroom in a 1 and 2 Bedroom villa.In preparing to be staying in Disney during a storm, I have some groceries, packages and my Owner's Locker delivered to the resort. I show you how to order packages to a Disney Resort and my tips for doing so. I then get to have Brooke at the DVC booth, show me around some of the other villa options at the Riviera. This should help you see which villa is right for your family and how many points you'd need to stay.In the evening I dine at Topolino's Terrace, the signature restaurant in the evening and character breakfast in the morning. I enjoy a lovely meal and walk you though the dining experience, and share whether I think it's worth the price tag. That night is when Hurricane Nicole comes through, where I show you a couple of clips at about 5am to give you an idea of the wind speed and rainfall in a category 1 hurricane. From Epcot, we take the Disney Transport bus from Disney's Beach Club over to Magic Kingdom and to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. We ride the Tomorrowland Speedway, Space Mountain (with a festive overlay) and Big Thunder Mountain. Throughout the party, we enjoy some festive decorations, tasty treats, fun Christmas music, the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks display. Once arriving at Magic Kingdom, we see the 50th Anniversary Cavalcade featuing Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Chip, Dale and Donald. Meeting in Starbucks, the three of us encounter a slight problem with My Disney Experience. It takes a hot second at the Guest Services location in Liberty Square to get to the bottom of the issue. From there, we stroll into Tomorrowland to ride Buzz Lightyear's Spaceranger Spin. I give you a couple of tricks to get Galactic Hero and score some high points. It's then on to Victoria's favourite, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover. Whilst on the ride, we catch Tron: Lightcycle Run testing ahead of construction concluding in Spring 2023. It's then over to Disney Springs via an Uber to pop into a few shops and get a lovely lunch at Blaze Pizza. Of course, it wouldn't be a trip to Disney Springs without a visit to the Pin Traders shop.After heading back to the resort for an afternoon chill, we walk over to Epcot via International Gateway. Once in Epcot, we make a b-line to the front of the park to ride Spaceship Earth, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and take some time to soak up the atmosphere before dinner at Space 220. It was very hard to get a reservation for Space220 restaurant. So if you've taken the time to read this, I'm going to give you my secret to scoring a hard-ticket reservation. This only really works if you're staying in a Disney hotel, but nonetheless... When your 60 day window opens (60 days before your Disney hotel check-in at 6am EST), you'll be able to make reservations for your whole stay. However, first, start at the end of your trip. These days are only open to people with active Disney reservations, so competition is far lower. I uber over to Universal, which cost approx. $20. I was a very very busy day at Universal with it being a weekend and a federal holiday. After pottering around Universal's Islands of Adventure, I made the decision to take the Hogwart's Express over to the main Universal Studios park, before realising the food places were also busy. Heading onto CityWalk for lunch, I try my luck at Toothsome Chocolate Factory, before ending up in Hard Rock Cafe since they were able to seat me at one of their bar tables immediately. After lunch, I meet up with my friend Brett, Rachel and Cherry. The four of us head into Universal Studios to check out the Tribute Store and ride E.T. Adventure. Then, the Halloween Nights spooks begin! We stroll through a couple of scare zones and tackle a couple of houses before I leave them to head back to pack for their flight home the next day. I then meet up with my friends Sam, Dale and Jessie. After a little breakfast in the room and Little Mickey 'brushing his teeth' 🙃. We then make our way over to Disney's Animal Kingdom via the Disney Transport bus. Arriving at Animal Kingdom, we spot the newly returned parking lot trams and grab a Photopass photo in-front of the main gate. Heading in, we stop off at the Wheelchair and Stroller rental to pick up a wheelchair for Gary, which we adorn with Pumpkin Jack and dub the Pumpkin Wagon. After a stroll through the Riverside Depot merchandise store, we pass some of the singers and into Dinoland U.S.A. There we see some extinct pins from days gone by and catch a showing of Finding Nemo: The Big Blue... and Beyond! Tune in for our review of this musical show. It's then to Expedition Everest for a roller coaster ride, before a sit-down table service meal at the Yak & Yeti restaurant. We give you an overview of the experience, tell you how much it costs and share our thoughts. Our friends Rachel, Cherry and Brett then join us for a stroll through the Maharaja Jungle Trek, a stop at Creature Comforts presented by Starbucks and a walk of the rest of the park.We were both cream crackered by this point, after lots of long days and from the heat. Gary's eye was also playing up. With that, we take our leave of Animal Kingdom and bus it back to Beach Club for an afternoon of rest. Once in the park, since it was pretty busy, we spend the first bit of time just have a stroll around the park and taking in the atmostphere. We pass through Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, before making our way into Pizza Rizzo's for a quick service lunch. This was our first time dining here and we make sure to give you our full and honest review. After lunch we ride Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway and somehow The Tower of Terror... It's then on to Hollywood Boulevard where we pop into 5&10 for a look at some of the merchandise, before then heading back to Disney's Beach Club to have a little break and get ready for the Halloween party. There, Gary surprises me with a costume...Making our way over to Magic Kingdom and the start of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party via the bus, we got a few looks. 😂 At the party we manage to see Disney's Not So Spooky Fireworks Spectacular, the Boo to You Parade and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular. We meet Pumpkin Donald, Princess Daisy and Witch Minnie. Ride Space Mountain in the dark, Mad Tee Party, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean and do plenty of Trick or Treating. We even show you how the allergy friendly trick or treating works. Once the party concludes at midnight, we head back to Beach Club via a Minnie Van. Whilst pricey, it was good to have a treat and quick journey home once on the trip. There are a couple funny moments to be had in us getting ready to head out to Epcot. We then walk over and enter via International Gateway. At Epcot, we manage to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind twice, by using the Virtual Queue and Lightning Lane. We also ride Test Track, Living with the Land, Grand Fiesta Tour, Frozen Ever After and The Seas with Nemo and Friends. Having missed breakfast, we have a brunch at Sunshine Seasons in the Land pavilion, before trying some of the dishes in Epcot's Food and Wine Festival 2022. Gary looks for some new clothes for Little Mickey and we pick up some really cool Epcot 40th anniversary merchandise. After the Florida heat starts to set in, we make our way back to the Beach Club for a little rest. From there, we take an Uber (approx $18) over to the Premium Outlets on Vineland Avenue. Just a short drive from the Disney Springs resort area. At the Outlets, we pop into Disney's Character Warehouse outlet store, and find some great Disney merchandise deals! If you know where to look, this is the best place to find discounted Disney Parks merchandise. Everything from Loungefly bags to Disney pins.We then take a walk to Publix supermarket, which isn't too far away, to pick up some sweets/candy for friends and family back home. We start out at London Heathrow's Hilton Garden Inn at Terminals 2 & 3 after an overnight stay before our flight. There we give start with some ghostly fun and let you in on the fun to be had on this special travel day vlog to the magic of Disney World in October 2022.On our travel day, we make our way from the hotel over to Terminal 3 via the underground subway. Upon arriving at the Virgin Atlantic/Delta check-in, we proceed to the premium economy line, where we encounter a reasonably long wait. After check-in, we go through security which took a very long time. Once in departures, we potter around some of the shopping in the terminal, including Harrods.We flew on an A330 (Diamond Girl) that was in good standing in 25H and 25K (premium economy). Onboard the flight we share an overview of the experience and review the inflight meal. We enjoy plenty of funny moments between ourselves as we make the 4,500+ mile journey to Orlando, Florida.Upon arriving into Orlando International (MCO), we take the replacement of Disney's Magical Express: Mears Connect, to Disney's Beach Club resort. There we check-in to our Water View room and give you a full room-tour. This includes a look at the 2 queen beds, bathroom, wardrobe, sofa bed and water view. After showing you around the room, we head downstairs to the newly refurbished Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. Here we get burgers for dinner and ice cream sundaes for dessert. Arriving at Animal Kingdom, we pick up Gary's wheelchair from the Stroller and Wheelchair rentals on the right as you enter. Making our way into the Asia area of the park, we stop-by the lagoon to watch the Jungle Book version of Kite Tails and we also spot the barge drummers. It's then on to Expedition Everest! Afterward, we catch the last few moments of the Lion King Kite Tails, before making our way over to Africa to ride Kilimanjaro Safaris. Having spotted a few animals, we continue our trek in the Gorilla Fall Exploration Trail, before we head to Disney's Festival of the Lion King!The show is now 90% back to the way it was before the Pon de Replay, with the Tumble Monkeys and Flying Bird now back in all their magical glory! The singers were amazing on the day we visited. From Africa, we head into the Valley of Mo'ara and Pandora: The World of Avatar. There we see some floating mountains and enjoy some air conditioning on Na'vi River Journey. Heading out of the park, we stop in to Rainforest Cafe for a lovely lunch, before making our way back to Grand Floridian to avoid a storm. We chill out in the room for a bit and enjoy some light bites from the Club Level's evening selection. It's then off to Magic Kingdom to enjoy some Extended Evening Hours with our friends Brooke and Tommy (he's camera shy). We have a lovely evening riding Haunted Mansion, The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, as well as meeting Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their 50th Anniversary outfits. A highlight of the evening was enjoying Happily Ever After from the Tangled Toilets whilst Gary got a Tangled Lantern photo. At 7am, I set an alarm to snag two Individual Attraction Selections for the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind roller coaster in Epcot. These Individual Attraction Selections allow us to use the Lightning Lane at a certain time during the day. The price was $14.00 per person, plus tax. Individual Attraction Selections are separate from the paid Genie+ service. For more info on Genie+ and IAS, check out my December and January vlog series, or you can purchase my new Dream Guide to Disney World (wink wink). We leave Disney's Grand Floridian via the Resort Monorail loop and transfer at the TTC (Transportation and Ticket Center) to take the Epcot Monorail over to the park. Upon arriving at Epcot, we circle the park, taking a look at some of the construction updates going on in World Celebration. Once in the park, we stop by the Wheelchair and Stroller rentals to pick-up a wheelchair for Gary. The cost was $12.00 per day, or $10.00 per day if you purchase multiple days at once. We prioritise going on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind before lunch, just in case it causes either of us any motion sickness. Heading into The Land, we ride Soarin' Around the World, Living with the Land and pick up an iced water from Sunshine Seasons. It's then to the World Showcase and the first stop on our Food & Wine tour, Canada! As with previous festival vlogs, we give each item a rating out of 5 and review. At Canada we have the Cheese Soup, before heading round to the France Pavilion for a ride on Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. The storm then makes its way in. After taking cover for a good hour or so, we soon realise the rain and thunder storm isn't going anywhere. It's at that point, we assume Harmonious will be cancelled and we choose to bail. We make our way through the thunder and lightning to exit via International Gateway and Uber back to the Grand Floridian via the Beach Club. Back at the Grand, we take our wet clothes to the resort laundry room and settle in for the evening. We watch Magic Kingdom's Happily Ever After fireworks from our room's balcony and treat ourselves to In-Room Dining (room service), as well as Mickey Bars from the Club Level lounge. We decided to use express walk-off where we took our cases with us. However, you can leave the cases outside the stateroom before 10pm on the last night of your sailing to have your cases offloaded into the port for you. We use the Disney Cruise Line transfer to make our way from Port Canaveral to Walt Disney World and the Grand Floridian.Once at the Grand, we are shown upstairs to the Club Level concierge desk. Here we check-in, before being shown to our Main Building Theme Park view room. We managed to book this room direct with Disney on a last minute summer deal for about 25% off the full price (passholder/DVC member offer). Tune in for a full room tour and review of the theme park view. We also show you around the Club Level lounge and get lunch at the Gasparilla Grill quick services restaurant. After lunch, we rent a pontoon boat and tour Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. The cost was $45 for the first 30 minutes, it's then charged per 5 minutes after that. We also got a DVC discount too. We pop back to the room for a little cool down and nap, before we take the monorail over to Magic Kingdom. Once there, we see the new Adventure Friends Cavalcade, a bit of Mickey's Royal Friendship Fare, ride Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, It's A Small World and Carousel of Progress. We have dinner at Columbia Harbour House and pop into the Emporium merchandise store. Whilst at Magic Kingdom, we get caught in a major thunderstorm. With heavy rain, lots of lightning, thunder and water flooding the pathways, it was a sight to behold. Thankfully, we were able to take shelter in Gaston's Tavern, at times it looked like something out of a hurricane / tropical storm. The storm meant that Enchantment was delayed, and then cancelled, but we had such a unique experience, we really didn't mind. Once ready for the day, we make our way out to the island and to the adult beach 'Serenity Bay' via the tram service. At Serenity Bay, we enjoy a quite and relaxing morning sitting on the beach and sipping on our favourite holiday drink: the pina colova! As the sun becomes a bit too hot for olde Gary C and yours truly, we make our way back to the ship. Aboard the Disney Wish, we try our best to ride the Aquamouse before getting lunch at Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods and a little gelato treat at Inside Out: Joyful Sweets. We had planned to enjoy The Little Mermaid's matinée but a 'show stop' happened during the performance. From there we go to Un Tangled Salon for a Fire & Ice pedicure. This was Gary's first spa/salon experience, of which he gives his feedback of the experience, for which he was a bit anxious about. Before a second attempt of seeing The Little Mermaid, we go to our reservation for Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge. There we enjoy a couple of non-alcoholic cocktails and enjoy the atmosphere of the space. After seeing The Little Mermaid, we give you our review of the show. For dinner, we dine at Arendelle where we enjoy a fantastic menu and outstanding entertainment. After dinner, we conclude our last full day aboard the Disney Wish and share a little recap in the stateroom. As we'd been to this port before and wanted to explore the Wish some more, we chose to stay onboard and take a tour of the Disney Wish.We start out our day awaking in our Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah stateroom. Located on deck 10 mid-ship near the aft stairwell, it was just one flight of stairs up to deck 11 for breakfast at Marceline Market. From there, we thought it best to tour the upper-decks whilst it was still morning and not too hot. On the upper deck tour we check out the pools, deck 12 and the adult only area called the Quiet Cove Pool. We also find a nice quiet pool located at the forward on deck 13.Moving back inside the ship, we share a little more of what the ship looks like in the stairwells, down the corridors and near the two elevator shafts. Moving down to deck 4 (forward), we find ourselves in the two cinemas onboard: the Wonderland Cinema and the Neverland Cinema. Slipping back outside onto the promenade deck, we go on a mission to find the bow (front) of the ship. This area is accessible from deck 4, and requires going up two flights of stairs. We were also advised this area is only open whilst the ship is docked for safety reasons. We then have the amazing opportunity to give you a full tour of the new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique aboard the Disney Wish. Located on deck 4, (midship) this beautifully redesigned space features four new dresses for the wish, Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Snow White, Mulan and Merida (Brave). Special thank you to the amazing Fairy Godmother's Apprentice: Ella, for taking us around and sharing some fantastic information. For lunch, we visit the table service at 1923 (Walt Disney). After which we head up to Triton's Lounge on deck 5 (forward) for Learn to Draw, where we learn how to draw Hei Hei from Moana. The set-up is a little different to the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.Whilst I pop to Senses Spa for a deep tissue massage, Gary takes over the vlog and goes to 'Who's Behind the Curtain' and meet's Captain Mickey, Mr. Smee, Captain Hook, Chip and Dale and has a look at Minnie's new Pirates of the Caribbean outfit. For dinner, we dined in Worlds of Marvel. There we give you a full review of the food and what the entertainment experience was like. This is most comparable to Animator's Palate on the other ships, but with a marvel theme and appearances from Ant Man, The Wasp, Captain Marvel, Captain America and Ms. Marvel. Up on to deck 11, we check out the Pirates Rockin' Parlay Party and Fireworks at sea. Once back in the stateroom, we share some of our thoughts on the show and treat ourselves to some in-room dining (room service). From WDW, we take the Disney Cruise Line transfer to the dedicated Disney Cruise Line terminal at Port Canaveral in east Florida USA. The round-trip cost for this transfer was $80.00 pp. Upon arriving at the port, we head to the Inspire Diagnostics testing center and check-in to our Safe Passage profile to confirm our tests are negative! At that point, we are 'clear to sail!'Upon boarding the Disney Wish, we enter the beautiful atrium, otherwise known as the Grand Hall. Here we meet the beautiful Lady Lenora, as she welcomes us to the Disney Wish with a special wishing ceremony. Not only that, Flynn Rider and Rapunzel are there to greet us too! Our first stop then, is the Youth Activities spaces during their open house (the kids clubs). We tour the Oceaneer Club (3-11) It's A Small World Nursery (6 months - 3 years), Edge (11-14), Vibe (14 - 17) and the Hero Zone (all ages at times).Throughout this Disney Cruise Line embarkation day vlog, we show you how to get a reservation for the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, where to go to get dining reservations for the signature adult dining onboard (Enchante and Palo Steakhouse), as well as how to navigate the ship with it's new layout. The layout is quite different from the Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Magic and Disney Wonder, but after a couple of days, we did manage to find our way around pretty well.We are staying in a Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah. This stateroom was located on deck 10, mid-ship, port-side (near the aft stairwell) on one of the ‘bump outs.’ We give you a full room tour of our stateroom, including a look at the split bathroom, wardrobe space, bed, Moana theme, sofa bed, balcony, dresser and pull down bed. We also check out the Cove Cafe, the adult only area, the Bayou bar, Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, Luna, Keg and Compass, the Enchanted Sword Cafe and more. For dining, we have lunch at Marceline Market where we give you our review compared to Cabanas buffet on the other ships and for dinner; we dine at 1923 (Walt Disney). There we enjoy a four course meal with appetiser, soup, entree and dessert.Watch for a full tour of the Senses Spa, including the facials treatment room, 'The Hideaway' for couples massages and the Rainforest Room, complete with outdoor space with hot tubs. There we take a quite stroll up Main Street U.S.A and check out the 30th Anniversary kenetic statues. It's then off into the park as we try to find some attractions. During the day we ride Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain, the Storybook boatride, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, Mad Hatter Tea Party and the new Cars Road Trip. We also spend time in the merchandise stores checking out the bits and bobs, have lunch at Earl of Sandwich and potter around Walt Disney Studios. After a little afternoon break, we stroll to Disney's Hotel New York: The Art of Marvel for a dining reservation at the Manhattan Restaurant. The gnocchi was 35 euros each and the dessert was 15 euros... Bit spenny. We give you our full review in the vlog. We finish our day up with a quick evening outing to Disneyland Park for the 30th Anniversary drone show: Disney D-Light and a bit of Illuminations. Travelling from London to Disneyland Paris, we travel on the direct Eurostar service to the magic. I upgraded our service to standard premier, which offers some complimentary food, more spacious seats and the carriages are in the middle of the train, meaning quick access on disembarkation. This trip was taken in early May and was for three days and two nights (two vlogs all together). Staying at Disney's Hotel Cheyenne, just a short 5 minute bus ride from the parks, we were in a standard double room in building 20. Once arriving in Disneyland Paris, we check-in to our hotel, drop our bags, then journey to the main Disneyland Park for a look at some of the 30th anniversary magic! We saw the Dream and Shine Brighter cavalvade/show, as well as the Stars on Parade.After a ride on Phantom Manor and the character/show magic, we venture back to Disney Village for dinner at Rainforest Cafe. We loved it and highly recommend giving it a try if you're looking for a hearty meal and decent service. In the vlog, we'll share what we ate and how much it cost.We pick-up some chocolate covered strawberries on the way out of Disney Village, then grab a Starbucks once we get back to Hotel Cheyenne. We then chill out on the porch, before winding down for the evening with Moon Knight on Disney+. I take the bus over to Magic Kingdom and spend a little bit of time strolling up Main Street U.S.A, popping into the Vault Collection merchandise store and picking up a coffee before Victoria arrives.Once Victoria arrives, we start out by riding Haunted Mansion. We then show you how to link up with the new 'Share My Linking Code' feature in the My Disney Experience app. We also ride Pirates of the Caribbean and stroll to Tommorow land, picking up a chocolate covered banana with nuts on the way. We have a little sit down, and chat returning to the magic. After our sit down, we grab a Joffrey's coffee and then ride the Tomorrowland Transit Authority (TTA) Peoplemover.Whilst walking around the park, we see the Whinnie the Pooh, Tinkerbell, Princesses and Magic Kingdom chatacter cavalcades. We pop into the Christmas store in Liberty Square, the Pin Trading Post and Bonjour! Gifts. After a spot of shopping, we ride Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean. We finish up our Magic Kingdom day with a late lunch at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, where we both try a special 50th Anniversary burger with cheeto dust bun. Tune in for our full review. Starting out, I pick up some coffee and a light breakfast from Starbucks in the Trolley Car Cafe. Since I managed to book return times for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, Rise of Resitance and Slinky Dog Dash, I head to Rock 'N' Roller Coaster and use the single rider line first thing. Around the park I enjoy the previously booked attractions, as well as Millenium Falcon: Smugler's run, and stroll around the shops on Hollywood Boulevard. There I also see the Mickey and Friends character cavalcade, as well as the Pixar character cavalcade. My friend Brook joins me for Rise, before we make our way over to Magic Kingdom. This is my first stay in a Disney Vacation Club room using my membership points. I head to Boma (the buffet restaurant within Jambo house) for a delicious and enjoyable breakfast buffet meal.Taking the bus over to Epcot, I share the new entrance plaza and show how you can use Early Entry in the mornings. From there I head to the left and pass the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction. There I see the newly completed Novacorp ship, before making my way on to Test Track via the single rider line.I pop into the Odysee Pavilion to see the Epcot Experience without anyone else in there (which was amazing) and then make my way into the Mexico pavilion to ride the Grand Fiesta Tour. This was a really special ride, as I got my own boat! A great start to the solo holiday. Throughout the rest of the day, I enjoy Living with the Land, Spaceship Earth, Soarin' Around the World, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Frozen Ever After, The American Adventure and more! I have Disney Genie+ for the length of stay this trip and I also bought two Individual Attraction Selections on this day. Availability was pretty good and I learnt that by refershing often, you can normally get a cancellation time as a solo traveller.For lunch I dine at La Crêperie de Paris, of which I give you my full review of the restaurant. I managed to get a last minute reservation by searching by the times just an hour before I wanted to dine. I meet up with my friend Jen and get introduced to the lovely Brooke and her partner Tommy. We spend a wonderful evening chatting Disney World, see the 50th Anniversary Points of Light show on Spaceship Earth, as well as the Rainbow Connection show exclusive during the Festival of the Arts 2022. By far the best day of any trip. In this solo vlog series I'll be travelling to Walt Disney World in Florida for my First Welcome Home as a DVC Member. I'm flying with Virgin Atlantic and in Upper Class too! I'm staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House, in a Deluxe Studio (standard view). For those Gary C fans out there, fear not, he will be making a comeback on a trip we've planned for later this year. My travel day starts out by packing up the car and driving to London Heathrow Terminal 5. There I utilise Meet & Greet parking in the Terminal 5 Short-Stay car park. My pre-travel day airport hotel is the Sofitel at Terminal 5. There I give you a room tour of my Deluxe King Room, as well as dine at their table service restaurant: Vivre. Also during my pre-travel day, I pop over to Terminal 5 for my pre-departure anitgen test for entry to the United States of America. This service was booked through Express Test and cost £35.00. I'd recommend it for sure. Very convenient if you're staying at the airport the night before your flight. In the morning, I get a car from the Sofitel over to Virgin Atlantic's Upper Class wing at Heathrow Terminal 3. In order to utilise this check-in wing, you must be dropped off and be flying in Upper Class. There I was able to check-in with my FlyReady status, drop my bags and pass through a private security lane which was incredible! Once in the departures lounge, I picked up some bits for the flight from WHSmith and Boots. I then proceeded to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse (their upper class lounge). In this lounge they had a deli, Peloton bikes, a pool table, roof-top garden, showers, toilets, an extensive bar, both table and lounge seating, as well as a selection of newspapers/magazines. All the staff were incredibly friendly! It was by far the best departure lounge I've ever experienced! On board the flight I was seated in 1A, in Virgin Atlantic's former Upper Class configuration (they have since updated their layout and seat design for the new A350 aircraft). During the flight, the cabin crew went out of their way to ensure I was well fed and watered, as well as offering friendly customer service throughout. Honestly, the cabin crew are what make Virgin Atlantic my favoruite airline. The meal was out of this world with a Vegan Curry Pie. Whilst the flight was very bumpy due to turbulence, overall it was an amazing experience.Upon arriving in Orlando, I get a picture infront of the Magic of Disney store before making my way down to the Mears Connect coach terminal. In this vlog, I give you a full review of Mears Connect. Since Disney's Magical Express has since been discontinued, this is the most comparable service. It's in the same location and Mears Connect Standard Service is currently priced at $16.00 per adult each way. At Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House, I check-in as a DVC Member and head to my Deluxe Studio (standard view). Here I give you a full room tour of the studio, as well as a look at my partial Savannah View I was lucky enough to get upon request. There we enjoy a light breakfast on the balcony, before making our way over to the Advent Health Urgent Care facility just outside Disney Springs for tests prior to our flight home. In the video explain where to get a test whilst staying at Disney World, how much they cost, how to get there/arrange free transportation etc.After returning from our test, we upload our documents and then make our way to Magic Kingdom for our last dose of theme park fun this trip. At Magic Kingdom, we grab a late lunch at Columbia Harbour House, ride Haunted Mansion, the new and improved Mickey's Philharmagic, Space Mountain and Dumbo.We then make our way to the hub, for what we think is the best place to watch Disney fireworks, just in-front of the Partners statue. The nighttime magic begins with the 50th Anniversary Beacon of Magic projections, followed by some Christmas projections. We then enjoy the magical Disney Enchantment.After the fireworks, we make our way out of the park and over to the Contemporary for dinner at the Contempo Cafe quick service restaurant. Once back at the Yacht Club, we give you a full trip report and share our favourite things, as well as some things we think could be improved. This hotel is part of the Yacht & Beach Club, located in the Epcot Resort area of Walt Disney World. Upon check-in, we were told we'd been upgraded to the Commodore's Suite! This suite is located on the fifth floor of the resort, typically withing the concierge/club level area of the resort. At the time of our stay, this level wasn't functioning as club level. Once inside the suite, you get to see just how incredible this suite is and how blown away we were by it. Once a little more calm, we give you a full room tour of this two bedroom suite. It features a master bedroom, huge bathroom, entry hall, entrace wardrobe, guest restroom, living room, three balconies, second bedroom with two queen beds, it's own bathroom and own door.From the Yacht Club, we make our way to Epcot via the promenade walkway. There we enter from International Gateway and pick-up a wheelchair for Gary, since his legs weren't up to the amount of walking this day. We grab lunch at one of my personal faves: Katsura Grill in the Japanese Pavilion, before wandering through Morocco, United Kingdom and Canada Pavilions. We head to the front of the park to ride Spaceship Earth, before picking up a very special competition prize in the Creations Shop. We make a brief return to the resort to chill in the room, before making our way to Disney Springs for dinner. At Disney Springs, we get a quick services dinner at Chicken Guy, before having another look around some of the shops: World of Disney, Market Co-Op and Ghirardelli. We start out our day by checking out some of the breakfast offerings in the club lounge, before making our way to Islands of Adventure for Early Entry via the water taxi.We start out by riding the NEW Velocicoaster, themed around the new Jurassic Park franchise. We give you our reactions to this high thrill roller coaster, before making our way out of the park via Zues Landing. There we encounter some Whovians and Gary gets to try out his singing skills. After making our way back to Portofino for a chill, I do some editing work and Gary takes a little nap before then popping to the pool for a dip. We enjoy some time on the loungers and in the hot tub. After lunch at the resort's quick service restaurant, we make our way back to Islands of Adventure to catch the Hogwarts projection show and ride Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure in the dark. On our way back to Portofino Bay, we stop off at The Hard Rock Hotel for a lovely dinner at The Kitchen. It's after that we conclude our stay at Universal Orlando Resort. From there, we get an Uber XL over to Universal Orlando's, Lowes Portofino Bay Hotel. This is one of Universal's luxury hotels, and includes express passes whilst visiting Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. We give you a full tour of the resort, everything from check-in to the pool. We paid for the upgrade to club level, which includes a lounge and included food/drink. More on that in the next vlog. From the Portofino Bay, we take one of the water taxi boats over to Universal City Walk and make our way into Universal Studios. Whilst in the park, we ride The Mummy and checkout some of the daytime entertainment before making our way to The Wizarding World and grabbing a little bite to eat in the Leaky Cauldron within Diagon Alley.Whilst in the theme park, we also see the special Christmas Parade presented by Macy's and the Cinematic Spectacular water, projection and firework show. Once back at Portofino, we give you an in-depth look at our meal at Mama Della's. This on-site italian restaurant is something really special and I would say it's one of the best restaurants at Universal Orlando Resort. After dinner, we give you a room tour before turning in for the night. It's here you can stay in a woodland cabin, camp or pull up a trailer/motorhome. We enjoy a great family-style breakfast at Trail's End, visit the new horse stables at Tri-Circle-D Ranch and see the beach before making our way to Magic Kingdom via the water-taxi (boat service).At Magic Kingdom, we see multiple character cavalcades, ride Big Thunder Mountain and Jingle Cruise (Jungle Cruise Christmas version), before deciding to pop out of the park whilst waiting for our next Genie+ reservation to come up for Haunted Mansion. Outside of the park, we take the resort monorail service to pop into The Contemporary, Polynesian Village and Grand Floridian for a Moo Moo Sharoo.Once back at Magic Kingdom, we soon realise just how busy the park is and how overwhelming it can be at times. I unfortuntely suffer a panic attack and we skidaddle out of the park. We head back to Art of Animation for a bit of rest, and for dinner at the Landscape of Flavors quick services resturant. There we pop into the France pavilion for a look at the new Remy's Ratatouille Adventure area. We then stop for a Joffrey's coffee on the way to The Land for lunch at Garden Grill. This rotating restaurant is a family-style all you can eat turkey dinner, with character meets with Mickey Mouse, Pluto, Chip & Dale.After lunch we ride Soarin' Around the World, followed by Living with the Land, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, as well as Journey into Imagination with Figment and Spaceship Earth. Around the World Showcase we take a look at the Candlelight Processional performed in the America Gardens theatre, before tasting our way around the Festival of the Holidays. We review each of the things we ate, before making our way back toward the front of the park to see the Festive and 50th Anniversary, Points of Light, Beacon of Magic display on Spaceship Earth.To finish off our day, we watch the new nighttime spectaular Harmonius from the best viewing spot we could find. This water, projection, laser, light and firework show is a really nice way to end your day at Epcot. We stop by the Beach Club on the way back to Art of Animation to take a look at their Ginerbread Carousel. Gary and I leave Art of Animation and head to Disney Springs for opening to avoid the crowds. There we start by getting coffee and breakfast at Starbucks in West Side. We debated lining up for Gideon's Bakehouse, but ultimately, it was a little too long for us. Throughout our visit to Springs, we visit: Art of Disney, Days of Christmas, Basin, World of Disney and Uni Qlo.We enjoy lunch at Wine Bar George accross from Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar. We enjoy two small plates and a sandwhich each. By far the best service of our trip here. After lunch, we make our way back to Art of Animation to meet-up with our friend Kieran who'll be staying with us for a couple of days.With Kieran, we make our way over to the Boardwalk using the Disney Skyliner. This was Kieran's first time riding the Skyliner, so you'll hear some of his first impressions. At the Boardwalk we visit the eye-wateringly expensive Wyland Galleries, the general store and pop into the lobby. From there we stroll to the Swan and Dolphin for a little look around, before popping over to Disney's Riviera resort. There we get a chance to look around a couple of the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) villas. The Tower Studio and The Grand Three Bedroom Villa. We then luck-out with a walk-in reservation at Topolino's Terrace! This Signature dining expereince was something really special and we give you a full review and look at our meal in the video. We therefore decided to use Uber to make our way over to the park. Once at Hollywood Studios, we bump into Minnie Mouse at the entrance before deciding against Genie+ for the day, based on the availability of attractions. We did however pay $8 each to book an Individual Attraction Selection for Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway to guarantee a ride on our favourite Disney attraction. Once in the park and having found the remaining 50th Anniversary character statues, we got lunch at Docking Bay 7 in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, rode Rise of the Resistance and pottered around the market a little. We then catch the Character Cavalcade featuring Chip & Dale, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse, whilst on our way to the holiday version of the Frozen Sing-A-Long.We enjoy some refreshing Starbucks beverages from the Trolley Car Cafe, check-out Walt Disney Presents, ride Slinky Dog Dash and Toy Story Midway Mania; before rounding off with Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. We have a little Moo Moo Sharoo around some of the shops on Sunset Boulevard before watching the 50th Anniversary Christmas Beacon of Magic projection on the Hollywood Tower Hotel (Tower of Terror). For our evening meal, we dine at one of the Signature restaurants on property, the Hollywood Brown Derby. A truly exceptional meal and honestly my favourite meal to date! Before exiting the park, we catch the Disney Movie Magic projection show on the Chinese Theatre and pop into Mickey's of Hollywood for some last minute retail therapy. We finish our day by taking the Disney Skyliner back to Art of Animation and rounding up in our Cars Family Suite. This is the centre in which Disney has offices and example units of some of their popular rooms/villas. During our visit, we had the lovely Ariana as our guide. She gave us more details about how Disney Vacation Club works and how it could work for me. She answered some of my other burning questions, such as: how much does DVC cost? Is DVC worth it? And is DVC right for me?We then left the office for a look at some of the villas at Saratoga Springs, followed by the villas set-up in the open house building. There we got to see some of the Riviera villas and one of the Copper Creek combination (lock-off) villas. Back in the office, I spent a great deal of time crunching numbers to see if a contract was affordable and practical for my future Disney vacation plans.As I’m not best equipped to advise on whether DVC is right for you, I’d recommend looking at other resources on YouTube if you’d like more information. I ultimately decided it was right for me but it isn’t right for everyone.From Saratoga Springs, the lovely DVC team provided transportation over to Animal Kingdom. There we start out with a look at some of the Discovery Island entertainment. This included the Christmas puppetry and the macaws bird show in-front of the Tree of Life.During our time at Animal Kingdom, we had a little pick-me-up meal at the Yak & Yeti quick service, rode Expedition Everest, Flight of Passage and saw Celebration of Festival of the Lion King. From there we got a spot in front of the Tree of Life to see the Beacon of Magic lighting ceremony at dusk.We had dinner at one of our personal favourite signature restaurants, Tiffins! There we enjoyed the falafel starter with the bread service. We each had Butter Chicken with a Lilly Gorilly drink on the side, finishing off with the special 50th Anniversary chocolate gateau. Upon exiting, we popped over to Disney's Riviera resort to pick-up the sweater I had my eye on in the last vlog and then wrapped up with popping to the quick service at Art of Animation to fill-up our resort mugs. From there, we board the Disney Skyliner at the Art of Animation & Pop Century station. We change at the Caribbean Beach station, to carry-on to Epcot's International Gateway.At Epcot, we enjoy some of the Christmas decorations, the 50th Anniversary statues, the new Epcot welcome fountain/flags, as well as the jolly Christmas music. Other new additions include a look at the new Creations Shop replacing Mouse Gear and the newly relocated Club Cool.Around the World Showcase we ride Frozen Ever After and The Three Cabreros, as well as dine in Via Napoli in the Italian Pavilion. We visit some of the merchandise stores in Italy, Germany and Mexico and give our first impressions of the Harmonius barges. Additionally at Epcot, we ride Living with the Land, Test Track and the NEW Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in the expanded France pavilion.After Epcot, we take the Disney Skyliner over to Disney's Riviera Resort for a look around the lobby, the shop and to possibly dine at Primo Piatto. Ultimately, we end up making our way back to the resort for dinner at the Art of Animation quick service. We awake in our Art of Animation Cars Suite and enjoy the beautiful sunrise on the way to the bus. Whilst waiting for the bus, I explain what Disney Genie is, what Disney Genie+ is and what Individual Attraction Selections are (luxury/fancy rides). I then show you how to open your 'My Day' and 'Tip Board' within the My Disney Experience app, and book attractions with Genie Plus.Once at Magic Kingdom, we have an emotional entry into the park and enjoy seeing the castle for the first time since it's 50th Anniversary makeover. The line to meet Mickey Mouse first thing was very low, so we start by meeting the big cheese in the Town Square Theatre. For the first time ever, we just get to enjoy Main Street USA. We grab breakfast at Starbucks, then take a seat outside the Ice Cream parlour, to soak it all up.We show you where to get the Magic Kingdom Zoom photo, before sharing some of the 50th Anniversary golden statues in the hub. We start out with Lady & The Tramp, spot Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Cinderella's Mice (Jaq & Gus) and more. The hunt is then on to find the other character statues dotted around the park. Throughout the day we find Stitch, Abu, Tinkerbell, Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, Orange Bird and more!During our day, we utilise both wait times and the Lightning Lanes via Genie+ and Individual Attraction Selections to ride Peoplemover, Space Mountain, Under the Sea with Ariel, Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean. The rest of our time in the park is spent soaking up the atmosphere and just enjoying being there. We saw character cavalcades such as the Disney Princess cavalcade, the 50th Anniversary cavalcade and the Move It, Shake It style one. As our batteries start to run low, we take the resort boat service over to Disney's Grand Floridian for dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe and for a look at their magical Christmas decorations, including the life-size Gingerbread House built in the lobby. Once back at our room, we give you a full review of our experience (on this day alone) of Genie+ and the Individual Attraction Selections, to see if we thought it was worth the money. All in all, we had the best time at Magic Kingdom and we were both so grateful to just be there. Next week we're off to Epcot! We start out by travelling from our homes to London Heathrow. At Heathrow, we check-in to the Hilton Garden Inn at Terminals 2 & 3 for an overnight stay before our flight. There we give you a room tour, explain the process leading up to our departure regarding Covid-19 testing, vaccination certificates and attestation forms. We get dinner at the The Apron Restaurant inside the Hilton and then wind down with a questionable cup of tea.On our full travel day, we make our way from the hotel over to Terminal 3 via the underground subway. Upon arriving at the Virgin Atlantic/Delta check-in, we proceed to the premium economy line, where we encounter a reasonably long wait. Thanks to some early planning, we had no trouble checking in here as we were 'FlyReady' passengers, having uploaded our documents ahead of time via the Virgin Atlantic booking page and TrustAssure (which became active 72 hours prior to departure).At the check-in desk, I needed to show our 'Fly Ready' confirmation, attestation form confirmation and the address of where we'll be staying in the US. I'd recommend planning to get to the airport 4 hours prior to departure, rather than the recommended 3. Just as the wait was very long. After check-in, we pass through security, pop into a couple of shops and then to No.1 lounge. There we give you a little look at the lounge and tell you whether we thought it was worth the money or not.Our flight was 30 minutes delayed, due to the aircraft getting into the gate later than expected. We flew on an A330 (Goldern Girl) that was in good standing in 18A and 18C (the bulkhead seats for this particular aircraft and layout). We got chatting to the lovely Lora who took great care of us during the flight. Onboard the flight we share an overview of the experience and review the inflight meal. As for masks, we didn't mind them as much as we thought we would. Obviously we'd have been more comfortable without them, but you do forget your wearing paper masks in time.Upon arriving into Orlando, we take Disney's Magical Express for the last time over to Disney's Art of Animation. There we check-in to our Cars suite and give you a full room-tour of the suite. Once the bags were dropped, we popped into the Ink & Paint merchandise store and enjoyed a great quick service meal at Landscape of Flavors. We venture to the main atrium for a look at some of the Imagineering details and take a short stroll around the promenade on Deck 4. Shortly before our brunch at Palo, we pop up to the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique for a comprehensive look at the slightly adjusted experience and some of the dresses/outfits available for little prince and princesses from ages 3-12. On the way to Palo, we pop into the Walt Disney Theatre to meet Pluto and Goofy. Palo is an extra charge of $45.00 per guest. We thought it was well worth the money with both food and service being exceptional! After Palo, we potter around the decks and change into our swimwear ready for our private Rainforest Room experience at Senses Spa. In the current climate, the Rainforest Room is reserved for one party at a time and costs $29.00 per guest for 45 minutes. We really enjoyed the experience and got to try out everything available.In the afternoon we enjoyed some Ice Cream out in the adults only deck, get changed for dinner at Lumieres, enjoy some pre-dinner cocktails at the concierge lounge and enjoy the Disney Dreams show with @WatsonsDoDisney (Robyn & Simon). On the way to Lumieres's we explore the decks a little and bumb into Belle, Ariel and Snow White.Whilst our dining experience at Lumiere's was cut short, we really enjoyed the food and can't thank the crew enough for being as accomodating as they were. We enjoyed the rest of our meal in the stateroom before Robyn & Simon joined us for cocktails and a gamenight at Fathoms.We complete this vlog series with a meaty review of what we thought was great, what could've been improved and the experience overall. We then head to the shops on deck 4 for some retail therapy! There we share a tour of some of the merchandise on offer during these sailings and pick up some souvineirs for ourselves. We pop back to the room for a little recoup before I then make my way to the Senses Spa for a Deep Tissue Massage. Gary takes control of the vlog whilst he draws a Disney character and meets Donald and Daisy. I then give you a review of the Senses Spa massage experience this time. I paid $109.00 (+tip) for a 50 minute deep tissue massage with a $50.00 discount from the birthday voucher left in our stateroom upon embarkation. Before Tangled: The Musical in the Walt Disney Theatre at 5pm, we enjoy a lovely afternoon tea in the Concierge Lounge (one of the trip highlights). After the show we pop to the Concierge sun deck for a pre-dinner cocktail. My longest vlog ever starts at my home in the UK as I welcome you back to the Disney vlogs and share some information about the Disney Cruise we'll be featuring in this series. After a drive down to Southamption, England, I meet up with Gary C and open some birthday presents. We then have a quick lunch at McDonalds before making our way to the new Horizon Cruise Terminal at Southamption Docks.As we're travelling in concierge, we had an open arrival window and were automatically assigned to boarding group 1. This meant we could be some of the first guests to go through the embarkation process and board as soon as the gangway opened. As part of the embarkation process for this sailing, we had to produce proof of full vaccination against Covid-19 and take a lateral flow test to prove we were negative. After testing negative, we were allowed to proceed to check-in and security. We briefly waited in the concierge waiting area before we were invited to board the ship. There we went up the gangway, to be welcomed aboard into the atrium on Deck 3. Once onboard, Mickey and Minnie greeted us with a welcome show (where I suitable broke down crying). After the welcome show, we were shown to Fathoms, where cast members checked we were all set-up on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. From there we met one of the concierge hosts (José) who gave us a quick introduction to the concierge experience and told us about the welcome lunch in Rapunzel's. We then ventured up to Deck 4 midship to check-in to our muster station. It was just a case of simply scanning the signage within the Navigator app. At the concierge welcome lunch, we enjoyed some leek and potato soup and an ice cream sundae each, before making our way up to the outside decks for a look around the youth activities (kids clubs), some pictures at the funnel, a quick meet and greet with Donald and some intial thoughts of the size differences between the Disney Magic and Disney Dream. It was then to our one bedroom concierge suite for a room tour! This 1 bedroom suite can sleep up to five guests, features two full bathrooms (including a jacuzzi bath), minibar, sofa, wardrobe, large verandah, dining table and chairs, walk-in wardrobe, vanity, two TVs, one queen bed, one sofa bed and one single murphy (pull down) bed. We were welcomed with a glass of champagne delivered by the concierge bar team, our castaway club gifts and a fruit bowl. From the suite room tour, we went up two floors to deck 10 to visit the concierge lounge. The lounge features coffee and tea making facilities, a soft drinks fridge and rotating selection of light bites. In the evenings, (after 5pm) a number of alcoholic beverages are available at no extra charge.For the rest of the vlog, we meet classic Disney characters such as Captain Mickey, Captain Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Princess Tiana and Chip and Dale! We tackle another crafting by Gary C project, take a stroll down to The Village Square for lunch at Strada and take another look around The Plaza. After that, we make our way to The Village Sqaure for lunch at Strada, followed by a look around the gift shop. We then stroll from The Village Square to The Plaza where we treat ourselves to some delicious ice cream, we have a look around the Parc Market supermarket. Before heading back to the Village Square for our two games of bowling!It's then back to the lodge to thank you for watching and bidding you farewell until we're next able to film a series for you. Back at the lodge, we embark on some crafting with a Frozen II themed cardboard theatre and puppet set (bought from Hobbycraft). Then it's a nice chill evening with a Chinese Takeaway from the Center Parcs takeaway.
