When the most recent Nintendo direct dropped news of a completely remade version of TTYD for the switch, I just knew that it was finally the right time to bust out a remix of this iconic title theme from the game! I'm so excited for the fans of this game after the thousand-year wait for this particular door, and for myself to experience the game in it's entirety for the first time when it finally drops without having to drop hundreds of dollars on ebay!

Courtesy of course by Toby Fox who has been moving on up in his level of involvement in the franchise since Sword and Shield. Hope that the level of censorship on this video is sufficient for those who are still looking to avoid being spoiled on the ending!

Last Thursday, Toby Fox celebrated Undertale and Deltarune 2s collective anniversary with the drop of some news from the upcoming chapters of the game! This included some new gameplay, info and most importantly- music! The tunes showcased were largely remixed versions of existing Deltarune music, but I fell in love with the track "My Funky Town". The Final Push - Failboat Anniversary Medley [NoteBlock x Friends]

Happy 7th Anniversary, Undertale!

It may be a bit cheesy to say, but this game is extremely special to me. Not only does it totally win my heart with it's simple yet effective narrative, goofy characters and amazing music, but it also has literally changed my life. I can say with full honesty that this channel would not have been as much of a success without it, I wouldn't have met so many of my YouTube friends such as Nah Tony here without it. The game was there in the early stages of me and my girlfriend's relationship. I don't know if there will ever be another game with the effect this one had. Thanks to Toby Fox, Temmie and the rest of their team for creating Undertale.

To celebrate, I wanted to finally cover one of my favourite boss themes from the game- ASGORE! The song captures the energy of "I don't want to hurt you, but the fate of the kingdom depends on the outcome of this fight" so well, and I wanted to try and preserve it in this remix! I showed what I came up with to Anthony in a discord call and without even really saying anything, he started playing along and sending me all of his recordings! Final Battle! Hop - Pokémon Sword/Shield REMIX

NoteBlock 2022-07-23 | Let's Hop to it! If there's one thing that Pokémon Sword and Shield did excellently, it was the atmosphere of the gym battles. Battling in front of a stadium packed with excited fans was something we saw in the anime series and I always dreamed of being able to do the same in the video games. The music in gen 8 was incredibly good at hyping up a good fight, and one of my favourite examples of this was your final showdown with Hop at the end of the game. Everything Hop has dreamed of and has been working for has come down to this last stand and the awesome remix of his theme does that feeling JUSTICE, while also not forgetting to have some fun. Hats off to Minako Adachi, Go Ichinose and the rest of the music team for this game! I hope I was able to capture the same energy.

NoteBlock 2022-05-21 | Alternatively titled "Calamari Hideaway", which is what I call it when I order appetizers with my friends at a pub and I don't want to share my delicious deep-fried snack. Ever since the release of Mario Kart 8s first booster pack, I've been addicted to the Ninja Hideaway song. I figured it was time for a remix, but very soon after I started I realized just how many similarities the song had to the theme of the Squid Sisters from Splatoon- Calamari Inkantation. And thus, this mashup was born! Enjoy, and stay fresh!

NoteBlock 2022-04-10 | Welcome to Week of NoteBlock- DAY 3! Today's upload is extra cool because it was selected by one of my members for March's Remix Raffle! And what a good idea it was, I really enjoyed working on this track since it gave me an excuse to break out my ukulele and melodica after what feels like forever! The bossa nova/jazzy feel of this track also left it quite open for some soloing, for which I invited folks to contribute. WoNB is the yearly celebration of my channel's anniversary in which I stretch myself as thin as possible to create 7 remixes for each day leading up to April 14th, which will be the NoteBlock channel's 8th birthday! To start things off, we're gonna speed right into the week in a blue blur! Just in time for the Sonic 2 movie, too. Very excited to go see it with Anissa! ... is what I would say if this were Mario Kart 9! Instead it's DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! Not that I'm complaining at all, I adore this game as well as Mario Kart Tour, so seeing the two worlds merge is pretty cool. Speaking of two worlds merging, this track was a collaboration of myself and Cochu, a superly-duperly talented producer who I met through the grapevine when putting together the Super Smash Bros Ultimate medley. So glad I did, because I'm really proud of how this mix came out and I hope that you can enjoy racing in style whilst listening to this new beat! Oh, and shoutout to the GBA and DS iterations of this tune, of course! See you on the racetrack!

Based on my experiences with the past few Pokémon titles, I was beginning to worry that the days of me really enjoying this franchise were behind me. The scarce news of Legends: Arceus and the surfacing of some questionable-looking screenshots furthered those thoughts. Which was a shame too, since an open world Pokémon game has been a thing that myself and so many other people have been wanting for years and years. BUT. I fought my doubts and bought the game to be very pleasantly surprised! Yes, it has issues but it also has an incredible amount of personality and polish and introduces some great new spins on Pokémon's most outdated mechanics. I've only been playing for a few hours but this is already my favourite experience I've had in awhile! To celebrate this occasion I expressed my excitement the only way I know how- a remix! This is the really chill village theme that you will hear time and time again as you return from your journeys out in the wild. I like it. I hope you like it too!

Around the release of the first 3 or 4 games in the franchise, I had a SUPER deep FNAF phase. I was super into all of the lore and I loved the characters but always thought the gameplay itself didn't live up to what I imagined in my head. I always wanted a free-roam FNAF game where you had to actively hide from these animatronic monsters. Security Breach is the first big leap in that direction and once again I find myself more interested to learn about this game's world and lore than I have been since the beginning of this game! When I get inspired by a game, my remix sense starts tingling. Enjoy this fun interpretation of the theme you can hear in the Daycare section of the game!
