THREEEE Episode 1 is FINALLY here!! It is the third season of Excellent Entities, preceded by Extraordinarily Excellent Entities and Excellent Entities! It is an object show inspired by Battle for Dream Island (BFDI), Inanimate Insanity, and a ton of other shows made by some other awesome people!!
This episode follows eighteen returning contestants, who, after the reveal that last season WASN'T REAL, have gone off on their own adventures! However, Gummy Bear had filmed the entire season - as shown in Episode 12 of EEE, she's got a camera - and released the footage online for all to see. After this footage was aired, the "missing season" became a CULT CLASSIC, and EVERYONE wanted a new season to see these characters again!! This caused them to trend on Twitter, caused the Broomer Boys to ACTUALLY become famous, and gave Chocolate Bar a new contract to host ANOTHER season of EXCELLENT ENTITIES!!

Object Shows like Battle for Dream Island, Inanimate Insanity, Object Lockout, Paper Puppets Take 2, and several other shows PAY their workers - but how much do they pay? Today I take on a hypothetical situation and talk about how much money it would cost to make ONE episode of a show while paying animators minimum wage! (Which is not great...)
Does the average person know where to begin when making their show?
Let’s talk about it.
The first thing that should be decided is the overarching plot. Is it a competition? Are they trying to save the world? Regardless, what does it mean to the characters? Do they even wanna do this, are they being forced, etc. Who are the characters? What do they have in common, and what are their differences? Who are enemies, who are friends? How does the main plot affect their relationships? What arcs will these characters go through - how will they be different from the first episode vs. the last?
Oddly enough, the perfect place to go from there is the end. People should be able to watch your first episode and see bits and pieces that would eventually add up to your last episode - it creates a trajectory that makes the story easy to follow! So if a “nice character” turns into a villain by the end of the series, we should be able to see glimpses of what may come in episodes 1 and 2 - something for the viewers to look back on and go, OH!!! It was SO obvious, how’d I miss it??
Once you plan that (doesn’t have to be SUPER specific, a rough plan works), you can write the first script with your characters and the end goal in mind.
Next, I ALWAYS recommend making a spreadsheet. Spreadsheets are the backbone of this community, and every great object show has one. Write down everything that needs to be done - Scripting, Voice Acting, Audio, Props/Backgrounds, Animation, Finalizing scenes, and editing. Then, you can create dropdowns with people’s names to assign them roles, and you can color code when things are completed! This will keep you on track so you never accidentally assign two people the same job, and it keeps you motivated!
Next, write your script. I recommend you write your first episode by yourself - it’s your show, you know your characters, and your first draft should be all you. Then you can ask people to revise it, to tell you what they like, what they don’t, what you can cut, or even what they learn from the script - AKA, are you showing enough about your characters and their world?
After that it’s the standard process of voice acting next, then audio, then props/bg, and then animation. For these, because it’s your first episode, you really get to decide the style you’re going for! The character bodies, the backgrounds - what kind of color scheme are you going for? Super saturated, super dull? Whatever it is, have fun with it!! Do something no one’s ever seen before, or just do simple object show animation - whatever it is, just choose what YOU want to do!
Making an object show with a great crew can be hard, but it’s real work experience that’ll teach you SO many valuable skills. So if you were thinking about making an object show, take this as your sign!!
In this video, I'm going over how getting into object shows because of BFDI actually got me free college tuition and fees which saved me $80,000 of debt. When I applied to college, I talked about my object show, which I only made because of BFDI, and once my college saw my YouTube channel, they gave me their presidential scholarship, which made me have no debt.
I am so grateful to Cary and Michael for creating BFDI, as well as other object show creators like Adam Katz, as Inanimate Insanity was the first object show I ever saw.
Object shows can be more than just YouTube shows, they can change your entire life.
But first, I’d like to start off by saying THANK YOU SO MUCH for FIFTY THOUSAND SUBSCRIBERS!!! This is a milestone I actually set for myself to reach by the END of 2023, and with the way my channel was growing, that was a LONGSHOT!!! But you guys proved me wrong, and we’ve hit 50k SIX MONTHS before I thought we would!! Thank you thank you THANK YOU!!!!
So, where have I been?? About two weeks ago, I decided to take some time off of YouTube because I had a lot to do - I had a bachelor party to go to and people to see before I packed up all my stuff and moved out. That’s right, gone is the millennial grey house I lived in before. Now, I live in an apartment with my girlfriend and our dog!!
Along with moving, one of my monitors smashed in the process and was banished to the dungeon, so I had to get a new one, and we had a LOT of problems with internet, so I didn’t have wifi until this Tuesday!!
I’ve also been going out more, getting acclimated to my new life and trying to be more active. For the last six months, I spent every day inside, which was really unhealthy, so I’m trying to change that!! Going on busses, going to the gym, etc. etc.
That’s why I’ve only been posting shorts - I’ve had no time to make actual content until now!
Now, onto THREEEE - very, VERY little progress has been made for episode 2, which is really sad since it’s been almost TWO MONTHS since the last episode came out! I knew this was going to happen though, since I had so much to do this month and last month. So, what I will say is that THREEEE Episode 2 will probably come out in late July or Early August. That’s my guess! Right now I’m pushing to finish all the audio this week, and then move on to backgrounds, props, and animation next week. Fingers crossed!!!
Finally, I WILL be going back to posting regularly again, on the Monday/Wednesday/Saturday schedule, with Monday being a #short, but still, a fun one that I put time into!
So yeah, that’s where I’ve been, and I’m glad to be back!! Thank you for all the support, and again, THANK YOU for 50,000 SUBSCRIBERS!!!
I love object shows and I love object show creators, reactors, reviewers, etc., I just thought that this would be a funny video to make.
I've seen this in reviews of Battle for Dream Island (BFDI), TPOT, Inanimate Insanity, and even my own show, Excellent Entities. I love reaction videos and I think people should make more.
This video goes over some of the funniest behind the scenes secrets from the production of all seasons of Excellent Entities, but mostly Extraordinarily Excellent Entities and Excellent Entities, as season 3 has just begun.
This includes secrets like, who are the characters based on, how we took jokes and lines from Rupaul's Drag Race, and the Office Building that started it all.
I've been working for TPOT since episode 3, primarily as an audio editor, but I also did a little animation in BFDI:TPOT 3.
You can tell though that my speciality is audio; I'm extremely happy with how my audio scenes turned out in the last couple of episodes, especially that scene with all of the plates in TPOT 5, the scene with the fire in TPOT 4, and the scenes with Death Pact trying to escape the water in TPOT 5.
I absolutely LOVE working on TPOT, and loved working on BFB - and I'm SO excited to continue working on it.
Do you LOVE Battle for Dream Island (BFDI) and think it's super duper funny?? Well here are some memes with the BFDI characters (NOT BFB characters or TPOT characters, but sometimes BFDIA characters! Ain't that a kick in the head???)
These memes are so so so so so so so so funny or are they?? That's up to YOU to decide.
Last week's memes did so well, we decided to make a ton more, because they were super duper fun!!
I re-animated BFDI 1a in ONE HOUR which was a REALLY hard challenge! BFDI stands for Battle for Dream Island, which was one of my favorite series growing up. I also worked for BFB and I work for TPOT, so I have a lot of experience animating these characters. Love 'em!
I animated these BFDI memes in one night so I hope you guys like them. They feature BFDI (Battle for Dream Island) characters and they are so funny right guys?
They do NOT feature BFB characters, even though some BFDI characters are IN BFB and TPOT, however, I like this BFDI style much more than BFB or TPOT so I used this instead.
if you thought they were funny, subscribe and even leave a comment saying "OMG SO FUNNEH!" and if you thought they were NOT funny, then comment "L Webz"!
