I Survived a Major Crash in a Tesla Model Y D Aasiya-Bey 2026-03-20 | Mercedes C class crashes into Front Left Pillar of Tesla Model Y on March 13, 2026. This raw, unedited footage from the Tesla cam captured moments before and during the crash. As I waited at the stop light before entering the westbound freeway onramp, a Mercedes Benz heading west from the freeway, exited the offramp at high speed and smashed into the driver's side of the vehicle. This was my first and most shocking experience of a car crash in over 40 years of driving experience. The incident happened rapidly with such tremendous force but the Tesla's safety systems engaged to protect -- air bags of every sort instantaneously deployed and surrounded every aspect of the cabin and locking seatbelts -- still feel at the moment of writing this description. There was no visibility looking outside but the interior had a reddish and smokey haze resulting from airbags deployment. I unbuckled the seat belt and could not see out of any of the windows so I did not know what was going on. Attempts to exit from the driver's door - jammed shut from the car on the outside and the front passenger door would not open on my initial attempts. I was able to exit out of the rear door on the right side. I crawled out onto the rocky slanted roadside.In the final analysis, one thing remains true... Although the Tesla has a high safety rating, The God that I serve allowed me to be in such an environment of protection against unseen dangers that could have had significant harm or death. Psalm 91

The video was shot at 30 fps on BMPCC 6K/Rokinon 18 & 35 mm lens and rendered in Davinci Resolve Studio under the Quicktime format, H.265 codec/4096x2160 DCI resolution.The DJI Ronin SC gimble was used to achieve stable footage and the smaller SC version of this gimble on the BMPCC 6k involved using counterweights and mounting clamp to get the camera to balance properly. The form factor and the weight of the camera necesitated this extra step. The footage was further stabilized in Davinci Resolve. For the live bass, a Fender FMT 5 - stringed bass was connected through a Sams Amp into a Yamaha mixing board -- l USBd into the computer and linked to Ableton.Now Ableton is my favorite DAW! I love the interface and ease of use. It is so easy on the eyes as the default color scheme is perfect. You can adjust it to your liking but I like the default settings. Managing notes when recording midi is easy and I must say, enjoyable. Audio files are also easy to manage and edit as well. For instance, you can adjust the texture of your bass guitar sound... one amazing example of a cool feature working with the audio files. I used the BMPCC 6k to record the video and did post production in DaVinci Resolve 19 until the upgrade to 20. I am working on improving my use of DaVinci Resolve Studio, which has some amazing tools to edit and color correct the footage. It does much more than that but for now, I'll use the features that allow for stitching my video clips together, editing my 4k and 6k footage, and adjusting the sound tracks for the video.

These close friends, like brothers, met in church in the latter 80’s and had a common connection in music. They either sang or played an instrument in their local church during a time when churches had many afternoon and evening services and programs. The friendships developed as the brothers began rehearsing together in their newly formed group called Company 7. They ministered throughout churches in the Los Angeles area until around 1994. It was a season of ministering, which had its pause simply as life moved people in different directions.
