I was experimenting with a new program that creates landscapes and terrains using mathematical formulas (this is a common method with such programs).The amazing this is that it comes out looking so much like real world terrain - using mathematical formulas!You can do the same thing with trees. There are programs that will generate realistic looking trees from mathematical formulas! Some of the trees in this scene may have been generated that way.So what does that tell me? If mathematical formulas can create things that look so much like the real world, then it must mean that the things in the real world were created using mathematical formulas! The way the mountains get pushed up and then erode, must have mathematical formulas behind it!
