The Bearded Explorer 2025-09-20 | In this weeks video i discovered a collection of very rare classic cars which have been left abandoned in a barn for well over three decades! The sad truth is that they will probably be left like this untill they slowly start to rot away into the ground. Whoever owns the barns clearly has no intentions of doing anything with them as the main door has been locked up with huge mettle sheets and screws. If there was any way of saving them i would love to buy a few and get them back on the road again! I Found And Explored An Underground Castle Hidden Deep In The Side Of A Mountain! The Bearded Explorer 2025-08-30 | In this weeks video we investigated a rumor and found it was actually true!… an uncompleted underground castle located in the quarries beneath a beautiful Château hidden deep in France. This underground complex, one of the largest in Europe, served as a medieval "doomsday bunker" with tunnels, bedrooms, large rooms and even it very own defensive structures! With endless tunnels in every direction and cave in’s around many corners of the site, it was an extremely dangerous location! But at the same time a mind blowing structure that you would probably expect see in an Indiana Jones film!.. The place was simply incredible, and needed to be seen to be believed!.. we found some very old items hidden deep in the tunnels below, some of them were extremely old! Rooms were slowing being reclaimed by nature, and almost invisible from the world outside! Abandoned Italian Dealership Still Full With Car’s But Has A Heartbreaking Story… The Bearded Explorer 2025-08-13 | In this week’s video we take a look at an abandoned Italian sports car specialist which has completely stood still in time. After hearing a story about a Dealership or sports car specialist & then getting a tip off as to where it was we decide to go and investigate the rumour and see if this place was actually real!… Upon arrival i stepped out of the car and was simply blown away with what I was looking at!.. a showroom FULL of Alfa Romeo Sports cars and the odd british legand. I spent a good hour filming this place, then as i was almost done a sweet little old lady walked up behind me and asked what i was doing. After a heartbreaking conversation i was told exactly what had happened here… her husband who was an Alfa fanatic and devoted most of his life working with the Italian company, was tragically killed less than 1KM from this very location in a car crash… she told me this with tears in her eyes which made me do the exact same… i always say id love to know the story behind the locations i film, but this one in particularly really pulled on my heart strings…. Abandoned Italian Dealership Still Full With Car’s But Has A Heartbreaking Story… The Bearded Explorer 2025-07-26 | In this week’s video we take a look at an abandoned Italian sports car specialist which has completely stood still in time. After hearing a story about a Dealership or sports car specialist & then getting a tip off as to where it was we decide to go and investigate the rumour and see if this place was actually real!… Upon arrival i stepped out of the car and was simply blown away with what I was looking at!.. a showroom FULL of Alfa Romeo Sports cars and the odd british legand. I spent a good hour filming this place, then as i was almost done a sweet little old lady walked up behind me and asked what i was doing. After a heartbreaking conversation i was told exactly what had happened here… her husband who was an Alfa fanatic and devoted most of his life working with the Italian company, was tragically killed less than 1KM from this very location in a car crash… she told me this with tears in her eyes which made me do the exact same… i always say id love to know the story behind the locations i film, but this one in particularly really pulled on my heart strings…. I Found A Time capsule Volvo Dealership Still Full With Cars Covered In Dust!!! The Bearded Explorer 2025-07-12 | In this weeks video we travel to Europe to take a look at a very special showroom completely frozen in time… The showroom closed to the public and stopped trading over two decades ago, but still has a selection of very special cars inside! The owners still live on site but sadly no longer sale anything from there business. The son of the former owner told me his farther who used to run the independent dealership is still alive, but is unfortunately no longer able to work downstairs. Hopefully one day the vehicles can be sold on and used once again… but for now they remain trapped inside the timecapsule that is the old Volvo dealership. I Found An Abandoned House Hidden In The Middle Of Portsmouth City! And Nobody Knows It exists!.. The Bearded Explorer 2025-05-24 | Just off the M275 is a area of land completely overgrown & abandoned.. I first became interested of this location after filming the abandoned ship wreak of Carmel close by.. I then started looking into the history of Horsesea Island and surrounding area which revealed the Portsmouth lake built during WW2 for torpedoes and ejection seat testing! There was also the construction & servicing of the D-Day landing crafts At Horsea, the five sets of nine parallel concrete slipways were built in 1943, and are still visible at low tide today!But wile I was reading the history about these I noticed in an old photo there was a building which looked like a house on the same now overgrown land…. After doing some more research I found a small article which talks about a derlict Farm House on the site… and looking through more photos sure enough there was definitely a house there! In 1952, work began on the British Forces Maintenance Area West of the Rhine. Part of the project included the construction of a joint British Army and Royal Air Force headquarters for the British Army of the Rhine (BAOR) in Europe.By the early 1970s the facilities in the complex included a NAAFI superstore, German shops, a petrol station, a travel agent, two German banks, two post offices, dress shop, libraries and cafes. There were also separate full British Army (RAMC) and RAF Medical & Dental Centres and five British primary schools!The site was so much bigger than we thought so were so totally unprepared on this trip, we have planed a revisit to explore the rest of the site & surrounding locations including the main Hospital, school’s & everything els! Both completely covered in dust and even moss!.. Both cars also have full black leather interiors and are complete cars, rumoured to be some of the lowest mileage Escort RS Cosworth’s in existence!… It took me many years, lots of research and endless trips to Europe to find the exact location for these.. so please respect mine and the owners decision NOT to share the location with anyone. Exploring The UK’s Biggest Abandoned School, So Big We Got Lost Inside!! Why Did They Leave All This The Bearded Explorer 2025-03-01 | Dartington was a progressive, liberal co-educational school. Foxhole was built as its junior school but was first used for senior children. Foxhole is a Grade II Listed Building - List entry 1219259. The former Dartington Hall School closed after the Corona Virus pandemic and has no plans to reopen. We arived late morning and didn’t leave untill the early evening due exploring every room and eventually getting lost! There was a lot of interesting things left in this beautiful building inc school work, furniture and much much more! We were a little spooked just before leaving as we thought we heard someone close to where we were. Not wanting to find out who or what it was we decided to leave. Nobody’s Ever Been Allowed Inside This Abandoned  Palace, You Won’t Believe What’s Inside!… The Bearded Explorer 2025-02-15 | The Pavilion Queen's Bay was a 4 star hotel located on the coastline of Krabi in Thailand. It was established in 2001 with over 100 rooms featuring an en suite bathroom & shower, hairdryer, a king-size bed and a hire safe in each room. There was also a living area with minibar/ fridge and every room had air conditioning as standard.Guests were able to enjoy the breathtaking view just 350 m from the beach. This beach hotel offered a café, a small supermarket and various shops. Dining options include 2 air-conditioned à la carte restaurants and a bar voor delicious meals and refereshing. Business guests may use a conference room, public Internet access.. The outdoor complex offers a swimming pool, a poolside snack bar as well as a sun terrace. Fitness enthusiasts can work out in the gym.Sadly the Hotel was closed around 2017 and repossessed by the bank due to high debts owed to them. There is no plans to reopen the Hotel currently but hopefully one day it can be sold and reopened once again as this really is a spectacular building! The Bearded Explorer 2024-12-28 | In this weeks video i explorer an abandoned £10million pound Tudor style mansion with its very own boathouse & deep water jetty, Swimming pool, tennis court, and an incredible 13 acres of land! The property is a magical haven which can be found in an unrivalled location. The property sits in a remote area of the New Forest, which is a private road and is surrounded by mature, wooded grounds which give total privacy and seclusion. The property was built in the 1930's and is constructed in a Tudor style of timber and rendered walls under a thatch roof with leaded light windows.The majority of the rooms have sensational views down the landscaped gardens to the waters of the Beaulieu River below.It has been a wonderful, family home for the current owners since the early 1960's. The house is now sadly due to be demolished to make way for a more modern development. Exploring And Racing Around The Abandoned Valencia F1 Track Which Hasn’t Been Used Since 2012!.. The Bearded Explorer 2024-12-21 | The Valencia Street Circuit, located in Valencia, Spain, was the venue for the European Grand Prix from 2008 to 2012. The circuit was located near the city’s port and used city roads as well as a purpose-built infield section. The Valencia Formula 1 track was unpopular with drivers and fans for its unimaginative layout and lack of suitable overtaking places, leading to mundane races. The race was eventually discontinued due to a lack of funds and the Valencia Formula 1 track is now completely abandoned! Me and James travelled to Spain in November this year, we decided that the best way to explore the circuit would be to use a motorcycle as it was easy to get on the track and being an electric had minimal noise so were less likelyto get told off!… i can confirmwe had an absolutely brillianttime filming this place! Over 500 Thousand Vehicles Wrecked & Left Abandoned In Valencia After Devastating Floods In Spain! The Bearded Explorer 2024-12-11 | On 29 October 2024, torrential rain caused by an isolated low-pressure area at high levels brought over a year's worth of precipitation to several areas in eastern Spain, including the Valencian Community, Castilla–La Mancha, and Andalusia. More than 250 people died in this eastern coastal area at the end of October, and the town of Paiporta was hit hardest with the loss of 60 lives.As a result more than 459,000 vehicles, some 28% of the total number of vehicles registered in the Valencia area, are in the zones affected by flooding from the 'Dana' storm, which has resulted in mass car graveyards and abandoned vehicls around the affected areas.
