My earth team is non-existent so I had to bring water instead. Didn't put much thought into this one since it was doomed during option select.

Couldn't roll a single Matt Christmas weapon in 29 pulls so here we are with Cait Sith instead.

Can be done with lower stats as long as you can fill the summon gauge before Heavenly Strike goes off to deplete her second gauge to stun her again.

I was really looking to get a SMN clear first but it wasn't meant to be because the group was lacking consistency for phase 5 to comfortably clear.
Most of my PCT rotation was just me winging it since I had basically not played the job in this ultimate outside of 1 or 2 lockouts very early on.

Had some technical difficulties towards the end of the run requiring me to force-close OBS temporarily.
Run overall was pretty bad, will get back to improving after new FFXIV Ultimate is done in about 2 weeks. Should be about 20-25 minutes of free time save for next run.

Decided to include the door boss as well since we've had a very clean reclear day.
Take every rotation line with a grain of salt as rotations in ultimates vary a lot based on push timings. The rotations I did were comfy for prog and felt decently strong for the times we'd usually push phases and I haven't put any post prog work into optimizing it any further. However, In this particular pull we were slightly ahead on some phases which threw off some of my usual lines.

I zoned out during Limit Cut for a bit cause I was reading chat and ended up pressing Titan by accident, lol.
Second pot window was mildly scuffed since I did the wrong Primal order and in that same buff window I missed one of the griefer blues because they AFK in Narnia for no reason.
Kill time ended up 5-6 seconds faster out of nowhere so I ended up losing both festers at the end. I was calculating for our usual kill time where I'd be able to still fit both festers in at the end. Oh well, shit happens.

This run was actually quite a bit worse than my previous run but I ended up just critting more apparently. Held Phoenix through add phase again which actually would have cost me a lot of potency if our NIN didn't die.
Didn't use Revelation on NE Dark Flame since I wanted to let our WHM pad better and I also kinda zoned out when the NIN died and let my Energy Drain drift cause I wasn't actually sure if we'd continue or not. This actually cost me a Fester usage in the end as well as 2 Festers in the buff window.
Also last GCD should have been Ruin IV instead of Titan summon.
If we somehow end up getting clean runs I probably have to go back to re-opening with Bahamut after adds depending on our players/jobs so I lose less potency in the last demi that will be cut off.

Since add phase doesn't count towards the log I opted to hold my Phoenix all the way through it for the small potency gain over Bahamut.
Unless you're in an organized group DO NOT play the add phase like this as it requires the rest of your group to make up for a lot of your missing DPS.
Also, this fight's arena is really bad for video quality I noticed, lol.

Geta92's Evolution & Technique duplication video: youtube.com/watch?v=ddFTfXbqLqU
Here is a text explanation I also posted in the Digimon speedrunning discord:
You save the game and whatever you had in your inventory when you saved the game is "Inventory A". Don't save anymore afterwards!
You then proceed to continue the same file and start changing your item order by selling everything in your inventory except 1 item you want to duplicate like Brave Point for example. This will be your "Inventory B"
Text stack and hard lock the item menu onto your screen.
This works by opening the item menu in a screen transition like leaving the agency for example, then opening the menu and closing it again (triangle button). Switching areas again and once more opening the menu. Now you can't close the item menu at all unless you open the menu and select items from there.
After that, either go to title screen or game over if you aren't on the PC version. Load the previous save file and you're done.
You now have the item IDs from Inventory B while having the amounts/order of Inventory A, meaning that if Inventory A had 99 HP Capsule C in slot 1, now your inventory B Brave Point will have 99 uses since its item ID is in slot 1 of Inventory A.
Things to note: The game is very prone to crashing from this point onwards. It's best to not have any equipment items in your inventory before or after saving the game initially. Same goes for digimon medals. Also in the case of duplicating Brave Points and wanting to use them on a Digimon, you will need to open the regular menu first, otherwise you will also crash.

-- PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS STRAT WAS USED TO CLEAR THIS FIGHT AS FAST AS POSSIBLE --
If your goal is to simply clear the fight with the achievement, you'll want to bring Exuviation and Diamondback and then play out some of the mechanics further to allow a non-crit Final Sting to kill.
Skills used: Magic Hammer, J Kick, (White Wind), The Rose of Destruction, Sharpened Knife, Feather Rain, Bristle, Cold Fog, Triple Trident, Matra Magic, Tingle, Aetherial Mimicry, Flying Sardine, Whistle, Shock Strike, Moon Flute, Song of Torment, Phantom Flurry, Glass Dance, Surpanakha, Final Sting, Devour, Nightbloom, (Sonic Boom)
Skills in brackets are theoretically optional for this strat.
Could probably shave off a few seconds with better RNG.
- Obtains Pure Azure bonus which is required for the "Violets are Violet" Achievement.
- To my knowledge the only requirements for the Pure Azure bonus are to take no avoidable damage and clear faster than ideal time clear time. Pyretic's damage ticks from moving seem to not count towards this.

Bathhouse was still bad.
1 Fusion accident.
Missed on Lab mid-boss.
Controller died for about 20 seconds.

Bathhouse was really bad, rest was decent. God's Hand skill up was nice.
This skips the entire lower section where you fight the 3 sets of Robots to acquire the security cards to unlock the door to proceed.
This is by far the most difficult and convoluted Out of Bounds that's been found to actually skip parts of the game.
The following explanation might not be 100% accurate as I'm still in the process of learning the exact details of this and how to improve it.
The actual skip ends around 3 minutes into the video. I simply included the rest of this to show that in fact everything else still blocks you from proceeding normally.
In order for this to work you must be at 70% alert or higher after being seen by the shadow you use to clip out of bounds. The reason for this is that an additional encounter spawn must be triggered after engaging in a fight with it. It appears to be required to lose height before engaging in a fight with the shadow as otherwise you would end up too high in order to be able to clip underneath the floor of the elevator room you want to go into.
The shadow must be attacked at a specific spot from a somewhat precise angle in order for the shadow to have a chance of spawning an additional enemy out of bounds after you escape from the fight.
The newly spawned encounter must chase you all the way to the elevator room and you must be (somewhat) lucky to not gain too much height from the previous engagement in the fight so you can still clip underneath the floor of the elevator room while the additional shadow is chasing you.
Then while you're inside the floor in the elevator room, you must engage the chasing shadow from a somewhat precise distance and angle and then either escape or kill it (YOU CAN'T USE ALL-OUT-ATTACKS FOR THIS). If everything was done correctly, you will now gain height from engaging in the fight and you'll be pushed up just high enough to be able to use the elevator in the room or you will simply gain so much height that you'll be back in bounds entirely.
I was literally just messing with this off stream, but here's the end result of it that shows that the skip is actually possible.
For anybody confused about this; After you first get to this door the game will prompt you to acquire a security key from the robots in the area down the elevator (3 sets of big robot + a bunch of smaller robots).
With this you can theoretically skip all of those fights now and save up to 9 or 10 minutes in a speedrun.
I'll record the full setup in the near future whenever I got around. Just wanted to get this out ASAP.

The reason for this is that during this section, Ann and Morgana leave your party once more and return after opening the door in Madarame's house, removing the blockade in the palace.
However, Ryuji doesn't actually ever "rejoin" your party until after Mementos depths, therefore, if you never bring him back during this puzzle, he won't return until then.
Also, as you can see, while the laser puzzle is active, the enemies from the previous room are gone, too.
If you decided to walk back into the laser puzzle room from the previous entrance you'll softlock yourself in that room.

Quite happy with the run this time around. Mementos was overall just bad and had some unnecessary deaths and encounters but no long and punishing deaths this time.
I might try and push for sub 16 hours soon!

I was bored so I decided to test what the highest possible damage number is you can get in the game.
Turns out it's not capped at 99,999 but instead has some weird multiplier cap or something. It's not important enough for me to figure out what causes it but all I can say is that there has to be some sort of "Cap" which appears to be this area of damage ranges from 96999 to 104998 given the fact that the exact same damage ranges are achieved on both, Easy as well as Safety difficulty, which mathematically shouldn't be possible unless there's some sort of interference in form of a cap.
TL;DR This seems to be the most possible damage you can deal in the game.
Despite Hassou Tobi (and maybe Shining Arrows) technically resulting in a higher total damage, both abilities would overkill after the first hit and all remaining hits would simply fizzle out, therefore resulting in a lower damage number.
The setup:
99 Strength Persona
Tarukaja, Rakunda/Debilitate, Charge, Provoke, Downed bonus, Baton Pass bonus
Snipe/Cripple boosted One-Shot-Kill (Critical)
Small execution mistakes and 5 random encounters.
First sub 2:01, sub 2:00 and sub 1:59 at the same time!

NG+ is a very boring category and I can't see myself ever doing another run of this unless someone manages to beat the time.

Part 10: Will be uploaded soon!
As a heads up. I went into this challenge mostly blindly, a lot of the fights are therefore trial and error at first. I have a good amount of general knowledge of the game which helped a lot when figuring out strategies.
An Explanation as to why I'm playing the Japanese version; I personally prefer the Japanese version due to multiple reasons. I prefer the button layout (X & O swapped), I have more DLC costumes to offer variety during the run, and most importantly I don't own any DLC personas for my Japanese version. DLC Personas can mess up fusions in certain cases due to the inability to turn off DLC. In a challenge with limited resources it can be really annoying.
