I believe in giving credit where credit is due; Wells Fargo Bank was amazing! They provided showers, washers and dryers, bathrooms, toiletry kits, distilled & drinking water, and so much genuine kindness to our area. I have used their washers snd dryers several times and have so appreciated their beautiful help.Please note: This Wells Fargo bank provided these services while their roof was terribly damaged! Many people have gotten very creative and kind with their big hearts! I blogged this on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Thank you to the thousands of people who have come here to help all of us.❤️🙏🏽💕Correction: I was told by a pilot that he had to give a three day notice if he wanted to fly out of Asheville airport. This is due to the number of helicopters and planes helping in the relief and recovery of Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina. I live in Asheville, North Carolina. Hurricane Helene gave us quite a hit in Western North Carolina! I made thus video on Saturday, October 5, 2024 in Asheville, NC. I just wanted you to see that I’m doing well. I usually have lots of fun doing Crumbl Cookies on Monday mornings, butwe have a lot going on here. How Many Bears? Barb Norton 2024-05-31 | One of my neighbors had quite a few visitors this week. How many bears do you see? Wait for the end! 😉It’s a very beary Spring here in Western North Carolina! The average number of cubs for an American Black Bear (Ursus americanus) is 2.5-3 cubs. Apparently, this Black Bear Mama (Ursus americanus) has been busy with her five cubs. I closed the lid and had Daisy stay inside the screened in carriage, as I walked slowly away. That makes seven different sightings of bears this Spring (so far).
