I was curious to see how well my Nikon s3200 would do when it comes to recording off of a screen such as a PSP screen. Now that I know, perhaps I could show some other MGS-related PSP content I've been meaning to upload for a while... But first I need to figure out the best distance/angle/ect to do so. Mieko Rye (Crying Wolf model) tribute- Fragile yuyuzja 2010-07-26 | A tribute to Mieko Rye, the real-life model used for the character of Crying Wolf in Metal gear solid 4. The song is Fragile by Chrisette Michele. SO, it's been like... a year since I uploaded anything? Therefore I decided to dip back into the whole 'editing' business slowly, just so I can try and get my groove back. This is nothing special; more along the lines of something I did to help re-familiarize myself with this latest version of Windows Movie Maker. And I was very shocked to see that it didn't crash even once while I was editing! THIS IS PROGRESS! You may notice that the MGS4 clips I use are a lot better in quality than the crap I had to use before. I got some better footage than I used to have in order to make vids, so I look forward to being a regular youtuber again in the future. If enough people like this vid, I might do one focusing on Scarlett Chorvat (Screaming Mantis) Lyndall Jarvis (Laughing Octopus) or Yumi Kikuchi (Raging Raven) next. So how about that Tekken Movie? yuyuzja 2010-01-17 | What does Yuyuzja think of the Tekken movie trailer? Well, my feelings are slightly mixed on a few things, but overall I am highly disappointed. One thing I will say is that I've certainly seen worse Indie films before. But as a TEKKEN movie specifically, I think it's safe to say that they really screwed the pooch with this one. HOWEVER, this is all just my opinion- Slightly exaggerated for the sake of lulz and the video shown. Feel free to tell me your own opinion in the comments section. ------ EDIT: Okay, I have now seen the actual movie. Here is my REAL review of it (And don't worry- No spoilers.) If you've never played any of the Tekken games, maybe- MAYBE you'll be able to look past many of this film's flaws so that you can sit back and enjoy a small handful of the action scenes... and that's pretty much all this has to offer. The characters are flat, the acting is just flat-out bad (but with a script this horrible I guess not even the best actors in the world could save it), the music is generic and easily tuned-out, some of the scenes are unintentionally laughable, the direction is VERY sloppy, and the film in general is just extremely forgettable. But if you're thinking of buying this because you're a fan of the Tekken video game series, please keep in mind that, well, this really isn't Tekken at all. There's virtually no trace whatsoever of the characters that we fans have come to love over the years; save for their names and some of the outfits (which come across like bad cosplays more than anything else, really.) Hell; even the Tekken anime movie managed to have characterization 100x's more accurate than how they portrayed the characters in this film. Keep in mind- I'm actually a fan of John Foo. He's a very talented guy with some nice moves- But I did not like him as the lead character "Jin" in this film at all. In terms of positives, there really isn't a whole bunch. But one thing I like is that it really isn't a "kid's" film, and so the mood is about as appropriately dark as some of the earlier Tekken games (T3 and T4 specifically). It's really no wonder why Katsuhiro Harada- the creator of the Tekken game series- is so passionately against this movie. It serves as a means of milking the franchise for a few bucks by sloppily tacking on the "Tekken" name to it, and nothing more. Even those who don't give a damn about video games at all should be wary of this film. It's really a shame. I love many of the people who had a hand in making this movie (John Foo, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Luke Goss, Cyril Raffaelli- All wonderful in their own element) -But the sad fact of the matter is that this movie disappoints. Big time.

Naked Snake/EVA- Big Boss/Big Mama tribute yuyuzja 2008-09-15 | Am I the only one who immediately thinks of Big Boss and EVA's relationship when I hear the opening theme to Mushishi? Anyway, there's one line in this song specifically that made me want to make this romantic/sappy vid. You'll know it when you hear it.
Snake/Meryl: A noise in her mind yuyuzja 2008-09-10 | This video was a request from Psylentknight. Make sure you listen to the lyrics of the song as you watch! Despite what the title implies, this video is much more about their problems and separation than it is about their time together. But note that this isn't really me mourning over the loss of Snake/Meryl or anything, it's more like saying... "Hey, they had a good run, but it's over now ppl." One of my favorite scenes in MGS4 is the one where Meryl tells Snake that she's got his back. It was such a nice moment! You could really tell how much they cared for each other, but not in THAT way. I kinda saw that Meryl was finally able to let go in that scene. For the whole game, she was all trying to get near him and stuff, but whenever he brushed her off suddenly she was like "WELL I LOVED YOU AND YOU LEFT ME BUT I'M TOTALLY OVER IT NOW GRRRR!" And I was like "riiight...." You could SO tell that she wasn't over him XD But in that scene, it was like she wasn't trying to hide how she felt for him, but she was also ready to finally let him go, y'know? It's kinda sad, but she had to move on with her life SOME time, folks. And Snake didn't "get the girl" at the end of MGS4, (Because he didn't WANT the girl, apparently), but it's not like he died alone. He was with his best friend and "daughter" in a sense, and possibly Raiden if he chose to visit, which I'm sure he did. So... alls well that ends well?
Dead fantasy 2 remix- Information high (DOA vs FF) yuyuzja 2008-07-30 | This is another "break glass in case of emergency" video I made a long while back when Dead fantasy 2 came out. Luckily I saved it on a gig stick, so it wasn't lost when my laptop IMPLODED. So, yeah. Those of you whose subscribed to me should know that I'm not dead. My laptop was being a dirty whore, and then it broke. So... I need a new one. And then when I get a new one, I need to find a way to get all my MGS/Tekken footage back. :/ Fuck. MGS4 Beauty unveilings- Bachelorette yuyuzja 2008-07-06 | [You may want to watch in "high quality".] This is a video dedicated to The beauties within the beast armor. It's composed almost entirely of the "big reveal" parts of the BB corps chapters. This was a really fun vid to make. I finally got an excuse to combine MGS with Bjork! Score! Personally, my favorite beauty is Crying Wolf. I LOVE her voice actress to death, it's fuckin' Debra Wilson, bitches! Also, I felt that she had the creepiest reveal and most interesting backstory. ...And Mieko Rye is hot. Laughing Octopus was pretty cute too, and I think she was the best Boss battle. Lyndall Jarvis was a great face model for that character. Raging Raven's model is the gorgeous Yumi Kikuchi, and we all know how awesome SHE is. She's also a really hardcore Metal Gear fan, obviously. This video opens and closes with Screaming Mantis, who's model is Scarlett Chorvat. S.Mantis was the leader of the group, so she got special treatment. One thing that irks me is that they made her hair look really dumb. Chorvat is a really beautiful woman, I don't think they did a very flattering job with her. I love the way she moved and screamed, it was almost like art. Some don't agree, but I think the bosses in 4 were really great. *MGS4* Meryl/Johnny Tribute- One and only yuyuzja 2008-07-05 | *Needless to say, there are MGS4 spoilers in this vid and description if you STILL haven't played/watched through this game yet.* OKAY, so, here's a tribute to my favorite fiery redhead and her bit-husband...HUSBAND Johnny. LOL, I think they made an extremely good couple. Lord knows I loved me some Snake/Meryl, but some things just aren't meant to be. To be honest, her and Johnny are a better for each other. One thing I don't get- Why the hell does everyone blame Meryl for her and Snakes breakup? I've been seeing it everywhere. No offense, but you HAD to either have been asleep, mentally ill, or just skipped a LOT of shit to not know that Snake is the one who broke up with her. I mean, I know they made a cool pair too, and they've been through a lot together, but Snake left her. She kept thinking he'd come back but he didn't. And when they met again in MGS4 she STILL tried to get close to him at first but he just brushed her off repeatedly. It's not exactly clear why, but here's what I think; For one, there's the fact that Meryl was kinda a Snake fangirl. She grew up idolizing him and seeing him as a hero, and we all know how Snake doesn't like being seen as a hero. Maybe, after a while, Snake started wondering just how much of her affection was hero-worship? Then add the fact that she was like 18-20 and he was like 30-ish... (In MGS1) So...yeah. Or, maybe, I'm just looking too deep into this. It could just be that Snake fears commitment. I mean, just look at Holly White. He ditched the shit outta her. (It was both wrong and hilarious.) But anywayz, like I said. Snake and Meryl just wouldn't have worked out. They really were just too much alike in certain ways. They were always battling for dominance. Whereas with Meryl and Johnny... I think it's pretty obvious that Meryl owns him. LOL And, hey- nothing wrong with that. Some guys are into powerful women; I can definitely dig it. XD The Meryl/Johnny relationship didn't seem too forced or sudden to me either. I mean, when we first encounter him he's going on about how built she is, then in MGS2 he references her twice and said that Olga reminded him of Meryl. So, there ya go. It's not much- we never did see that much of Johnny until MGS4- but it IS evidence that he was still thinking about her after all those years. I really like Johnny. Always have, really. I'm glad they gave him such an important role. I like how he was such a goofball, but when shit got serious he handled his business, y'know? He was a pretty quick thinker when he wanted to be. ...It didn't hurt that he ended up being really freakin hot. I FUCKING CALLED IT, too! The Boss and EVA in Soul Calibur 3! yuyuzja 2008-06-08 | If I told you that I took up 5 memory cards and spent an entire day creating almost every single character in the MGS universe in SC3, would you be surprised? Probably not. Cause that's what I did one day, and I've always wanted to show off my custom characters, but I don't have a video capture device. That's when Psylentknight soared in from the sky and offered to recreate my characters on his memory card if I sent him their info, so that he could record the fights and send me the footage. It was a long process, both of us staying up all night to transfer the files via AIM, so I'm hoping you all enjoy this! Joy and EVA are probably fighting over the philosophers legacy or something XD EVA was pretty simple to make, but damn I thought it was gonna be IMPOSSIBLE to make The Boss, with her detailed ass suit. Especially since I'm so picky that I not only make them look like the characters, I make damn sure they have the right attitude, too. (I always thought it was kinda dumb that you can't choose their personality yourself.) But I ended up being really proud of her, she's one of my faves. This was mostly done to show off these new ads and be a bit informative. Plus you guys know how I must use every bit of MGS4 footage released for everything.I'm hoping all of you have seen these viral ads already, so I don't have to explain....Ah, what the hell, I'll explain anyway. Recently, on the official MGS4 flash site, Konami has released 5 viral ads for MGS4. These ads are for the 5 main PMC's of the game. They are:Praying Mantis: Unmanned surveillance systems (screaming mantis')Raven Sword: Never a shot in the dark (Raging Raven's)Werewolf: Evolution reinvented (crying wolf's)Pieuvre armement: Irresistible attraction (Laughing Octopus's)And оцелотовая хватка/Ocelot grip: No peace without war. (Liquid Ocelot's)I'm not quite sure which one I like best. The praying Mantis one was pretty badass, And Ocelot grip had a nice style to it. But Pieuvre armement had boobs and tentacle pr0n, so I guess it wins.I've heard that these will actually appear on television near the launch date of MGS4. Somehow I doubt all of them will be on TV in the U.S, the praying mantis and raven sword ones are a bit too violent for us yanks. The audio you hear around the middle-ish is propaganda for the PMC Praying Mantis, which can be heard in the background of the E4 All gameplay. Some call these commercials a colossal waste of money, others say they are really artistic and are a good way of advertising for the game. What do you think? The song is Higurashi no naku koro ni.

Anna Williams Tribute - Not enough yuyuzja 2008-05-21 | I planned on making an Anna Williams tribute a long time ago, but I had two problems: 1) Song choice 2) Finding good clips of Anna The first problem I solved after I made my tekken movie cast vids, where i used this song, and I decided that it fit her quite nicely. The second was pretty difficult, because in a good majority of the clips I have of Anna, she's getting owned by someone else. Mostly Nina. Or Lee. Or a dinosaur. Or Marduk. (Yuck) Kinda made me feel bad for her, Anna's always getting the short end of the stick. :( THEREFORE, she deserves a tribute. I've always been one to root for the underdog. It's not a KP report, those have been temporarily suspended. This is another phone interview, so the quality isn't excellent, but find solace in the fact that this isn't a "Chris Ho" interview...(the MGS2 Vamp interviewer I uploaded a while back.) Olga Gurlukovich- The Ninja Girl yuyuzja 2008-05-05 | A vgmv tribute to Olga Gurlukovich of Metal Gear Solid 2, with the main theme song of Jubei-Chan 2 (ninja-girl). As stated in my "Raiden's Rising" vid, I believe Olga is a very underrated character, and I should have done this a long time ago. Giving Raiden her sword had a major impact on him finding his own identity. When he was feeling alone, confused, and both literally and figurativley naked, suddenly when she gave him her sword and sacrificed herself for him near the end, he had a reason to continue when he felt like giving up, and that reason was sunny. Granted, she died more for her daughter than for him, but then why give him her sword? Well, she knew of the patriots efforts to control him, and I like to think that she cared enough to help Raiden break from his memetic fate. Also, seeing Olga die right in front of him probably had a lot to do with Raiden wanting to be stronger. There's not much footage of her, but I tried to scrape every video with Olga in it I had together to keep it interesting. Hopefully you all can enjoy this. Brace yourself.

my TEKKEN Live-action MOVIE cast! -Part 1 yuyuzja 2008-03-28 | These are my choices for the cast of the live-action Tekken movie coming out soon. Part 2 is up now. Has Tekken 1,2,3,4,5,6 and Team Tag footage. Also some stuff from the anime. To be honest, as excited as I was to hear that the movie will have an impressive budget, I was disappointed in what I've heard about the script so far. So Jin is a crackhead? Or a "Zen addict" as they put it. A random character they made up named BONNER? I never understood why the hell they'd create new fighters for the movie when there are so many to choose from in the game. And he's Jin's friend? Why not just make it Hwoarang? Anywayz, to be honest, I didn't care TOO much. As most of you are aware, my favorite characters are Nina and Anna Williams, so I was just glad to see that they'd both be appearing in the movie. Gotta love that dynamic duo. It also said that at least one of the characters will die. Hopefully it's not Anna getting her head bitten off by a dinosaur again. Metal Gear Movie Cast (Other characters) pt. 3/3 yuyuzja 2008-02-14 | If you haven't seen the first two, WATCH THOSE FIRST. (Like the SH movie.) Plus, you never know who will show up, whether it be in a flash back or time jump, so... yeah. No, I don't expect all of these people to be hired, I'm just giving suggestions for if they DO decide to go with major actors for these roles. I used to think Christian Bale for Snake wouldn't be right, but I forced myself to reconsider after I read a Kotaku article stating that he SUPPOSEDLY said in an interview that he was in the running to play snake. Well, damn. If he's really in the running there's no way in hell they'd turn him down. Don't get me wrong, I love Christian Bale; Batman Begins kicked ass. But while Bale does really well with acting badass, he doesn't do so well with romance and humor, which are very big aspects of the MGS universe. You must remember that Snake isn't a macho badass 100% of the time. Unlike most action heroes, he has a personality. (Bum bum bummmm..) He can be silly, naive, and even surprisingly philosophical. *sigh* I REALLY hope they don't screw his personality up. If they could just get his character right, the movie might not suck as many balls as most movie adaptions of video games.
