Tamboran Resources is currently shipping fracking machinery to Australia that can drill 4km in length, in several directions at once. Four kilometres is 11 titanic ships, 25 football fields or 185 semi-trailer trucks.Tamboran are working with US-based oil and gas provider, Helmerich & Payne (H&P), who are major investors in Tamboran. H&P make and contract out these rigs across the US. Just like Tamboran, H&P have a murky and worrying history, and have devastated United States communities for years.The sheer scale of Tamboran's fracking rig means it needs two to four times as much water and toxic chemicals than anything else currently approved in Australia.
