Retired F-18 Pilot Reports 5 UAPs Pacing His Aircraft Over Channel Islands 8-18-22 Hypocenter 101 2022-08-30 | A retired F-18 Marine Corps pilot was flying a chartered private jet en route to Maui on 8-18-22. He encountered 5 red, rapidly flashing objects that paced his aircraft for 15 minutes and performed circular motions to the side and over the top of his jet. This is a developing story, but we have pre-released ATC radar tape and radio communication exchanges with Los Angeles Center, ADS-B archival data, and footage from inside the cockpit. At least 2 other airline flights reported seeing the objects once they landed. Commercial Airline Pilots Report Unusual Balloon-Type Sphere in 2019 Hypocenter 101 2023-02-14 | On November 14, 2019 at approximately 10:15AM local time while flying into Louisville, Kentucky Airport (SDF), a commercial flight witnessed an extremely bright, spherical or "egg shaped" object, in front of their aircraft and above their flight level. The object moved over the cockpit slower than would be expected if the object was in powered flight and headed toward them. While quite possibly a balloon of some type, other factors suggest it may have been another unknown human-made object that was much larger than a standard weather balloon. In light of recent objects that have been shot down over the U.S. and Canada by the U.S. military in February 2023, this case is interesting as it may indicate such objects have been transiting U.S. airspace since 2019. Delta Flights Report UAPs to Ft Worth ATC- January 14, 2023 Hypocenter 101 2023-01-26 | On January 14, 2023 at about 4:00AM local time, a Delta flight communicating with the Ft. Worth Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) reported seeing strange lights, high up in altitude. The UAPs were also observed and reported by another Delta flight and other pilots reported seeing similar lights from other events. Based on the descriptions provided to ATC, it's likely these objects were a sighting of Starlink satellites that have also been reported and researched on this channel, but since no witnesses have been made available to interview and no video footage has been obtained, the ATC audio is posted here without analysis. Long pauses in the transmission have been removed as the original length was close to 50 minutes long.
Wisconsin UAPs Case Update and Summary Hypocenter 101 2023-01-17 | This is a case summary regarding a UAP event witnessed by several witnesses on December 1, 2022 in the area of Fredonia, Wisconsin. When the case was first reported, the community was asked to assist in helping identify the source of the lights due to characteristics of their unusual nature and events witnessed apart from what was recorded on camera. The extensive inquiry and investigation spanned over a month and involved multiple witnesses, lighting industry experts, and the assistance of local volunteers and government officials. Firefly UAPs Reported in Wisconsin by Several Witnesses Hypocenter 101 2022-12-19 | At about 10:47PM on December 1, 2022, several witnesses reported seeing what they described as "Firefly" orbish white lights dancing in the sky and coming down beyond to the level of the highway. From two independent locations miles apart, the phenomena was recorded as 5 or more UAPs streaked over the sky in formation underneath cloud cover. As of 12/19/22, we are still following up on leads with additional witnesses and obtaining expert opinions as to whether there is a natural or human-made explanation for the events.
Memphis Center ATC Full Radio Audio from UAP Reports 8/19/22 Hypocenter 101 2022-12-02 | This is the full audio file from commercial pilots communicating with Memphis Center Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) as received from a FOIA regarding the UAP events reported on August 19, 2022 near Little Rock, Arkansas and Springfield, Missouri. UAP Reported by Aeroméxico Airlines, Orbiting Circles Off the Coast of Florida 10/4/22 Hypocenter 101 2022-10-25 | On 10/4/22, Aeroméxico flight 21 called on an emergency frequency to report an object circling above their altitude at about 80 miles to their southeast. They then spoke to Miami Center ARTCC (air traffic control) to describe the UAP that was not detected on radar. There were no active military airspaces. Additional audio from the radio communications is in the process of being requested.

Channel Islands UAP Update Hypocenter 101 2022-09-05 | An update to the UAP sighting reported by a retired F-18 pilot flying a Gulfstream 650 on August 18, 2022. American Airlines flight #6 also reports to ATC a UAP sighting within the same hour and in the same location. An update is also provided to the attempt to capture video of the event and a reasonable explanation is found for the pink lights captured in the footage. Bokeh Effect in Night Vision Hypocenter 101 2021-05-28 | This was a test video to analyze the recent released Navy UAP/UFO "Pyramid" video. The Navy confirmed that in 2019, off the coast of San Diego, their personnel observed several objects that followed Navy vessels for over an hour. The observations were recorded in one of the ship's logs and described as "drones". One of the objects was filmed in night vision by holding a camera up to the eye piece. As debated on Twitter, it was proposed that the pyramid shape was actually the result of the "bokeh" effect caused by a combination of the aperture and out-of-focus scope. A generation 3 night vision military spec monocular was used in this comparison video and very similar results were achieved. The event was witnessed all over the Western U.S. Explanations are that it was part of a meteor shower or the debris from a Chinese rocket entering the atmosphere.
