The Hobbit | The Last Goodbye SweetLadyBat 2016-04-04 | There and back again...I remade a few parts of this video for the Video Contest at HobbitCon and won third price with it! :D Thank you to everyone who voted for my video, it was an honour seeing it on the big screen and seeing people around me end up in tears from it. I thought this video and song were the most fitting for the last HobbitCon as for all of us this was an end like Bilbo's journey. I'm so happy I could meet so many amazing people there. So this video is also a way to thank my friends and subscribers here on youtube :) Star Wars was the fandom I started with and it will always be in my heart. This is why I choose this fandom for the final BOIT challenge. Judge's note:I'm not sure how familiar you are with Star Wars, I'll try to explain it all as good as possible :)I portrayed what I love the most about the fandom: The Jedi and the tragedy of their fall. As mentioned in the beginning, the Jedi order existed for thousands of years and it was destroyed in only a few. The Jedi have a prophecy about the Chosen One who will bring balance to the Force, a being stronger than any Jedi before. On a mission the Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn finds a young boy named Anakin Skywalker with the highest connection to the Force he has ever experienced. He knows Anakin must be the Chosen One. The Jedi rules forbid him to be trained since he is too old (he is 9, Jedi begin their training as babies). Qui-Gon can't accept the Jedi Council's decision and wants to train him himself. Sadly he gets killed before being able to train Anakin, but his apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi promised his dying master to train the boy. Years pass and Anakin really is the most promising student in the council due to his connection with the Force. The only problem are his emotions. Jedi are taken from their families before they get any feelings of attachment, since attachments are forbidden. Yet Anakin remembers and misses his mother and he has fallen in love with Padme, the former Queen of the planet Naboo, whom he met at the same time as Qui-Gon. Meeting Padme again after 10 years of not seeing her his feelings for her get stronger and stronger until they marry, despite the Jedi's rules. During the time of being her protector, he had his first encounters with the Dark Side when his dreams/visions of his mother being tortured and killed came true. He found his dying mother who had been kidnapped and killed all the kidnappers, together with their women and children. Years later he has similar dreams about Padme dying in childbirth. The thought of losing her is too much for him to bear and he tries everything to save her. Mistrusting the Jedi more and more since they forbid his love and cannot help him in any way but telling him to let her go, he trusts more and more his friend and advisor: Chancellor Palpatine. Palpatine tells Anakin about a Sith Lord who had the power to create life with the Force and cheat death. He promises Anakin to teach him if he joins him. Nobody knew that Palpatine was not only a politician but a Sith Lord himself. He has been plotting to turn Anakin to the Dark Side for years, ever since he has been found by the Jedi. After Anakin helped him kill another Jedi Anakin's transformation to Darth Vader is complete. He is send out with a group of Clone Soldiers to destroy the Jedi Temple and kill all the Jedi remaining there. At the same time all the other Clones who have been fighting alongside the Jedi during the war, betray their Jedi Generals and kill them. When Padme confronts Anakin about being on the Dark Side he turns against her as well, feeling she betrayed him. He chokes her and breaks her heart, causing to her death after she gave birth to twins. Anakin fights his former master Obi-Wan and was left burned and crippled, bringing him into the known black suit that Darth Vader wears. The children are split up. The girl Leia is adopted by Bail Organa and his wife, the boy Luke is brought to Tatooine where Obi-Wan will watch over him while he's raised by his aunt and uncle. Luke Skywalker will be the one who builds a new Jedi Order, one where the Force is in balance.

The girls see how Miss G gets more and more fascinated by Fiamma, this fascination turns into obsession. The others, especially Di, become very jealous of her since all of Miss G's attention is drawn away, they go crazy and want to get rid of her. Fiamma on the other hand is scared of Miss G, tries to show her the cold shoulder and ignore her as good as she can.Until one night the girls have a feast in their room and Fiamma passes out drunk. Miss G takes her to her room, kisses an carresses her. Di sees this happening and believes it's a lot of what Fiamma actually wanted, not Miss G's crazy obsession. She blames her, especially after they see Miss G and Fiamma fight. The girls confront Fiamma about Miss G's breakdown afterwards, chasing her through the woods, hitting her and causing her to have an asthma attack. Miss G watched all this happening and suddenly appears after most of the others go to get help for Fiamma. She stays with her. As Fiamma reaches for her inhaler, but Miss G keeps her from reaching it. She watches her choke to death only to put the inhaler back into her hand as Di arrives and sees her doing so. Finally Di sees whom the person she adored really is, a broken cruel figure. In the very end (that I included only shortly in the first part of the vid), all of the girls turn against Miss G, after finally seeing her true self.Note:I made this video for the first challenge of BOIT. We had to use only one effect (next to some basic effects that were allowed). I chose velocity as my effect. I thought at first I wanted to use something else, but I just can't make a decent vid without changing the pace of the clips. It was hard since recently I was more inspired for AU videos that are FULL of effects apparently (masking, cookie cutter, colouring). I don't use many effects, but apparently I still use many lolI rewatched the movie recently and LOVED it. I especially liked how the characters developed, especially Miss G and Di, who almost turned 180° in their appearance and perspective.While watching it I thought about a song I could vid it with and somehow came to the conclusion that the beginning of El Tango de Roxanne from the Moulin Rouge movie works perfectly. I didn't wanna include anything of the singing though cause the lyrics don't work with the movie.

Through her, being his wife, they'd get all his money. His mother was always suspicious of Sam, but didn't find out until he was already in the hospital without a new heart to save his life. She sacrifices herself and offers her heart to save his life.Another thing: Clay isn't fully asleep during the operation, he feels and hears everything. Somehow his soul or spirit leaves his body, he sees himself lying on the table and finds out about Sam's betrayal. In this in between world he also meets his mother.Btw, this piece of music was taken from the "The Island" soundtrack, one of my favs ever!

I was really depressed when I heard I had joy haha. I prefer making sad and dramatic videos, but I liked the challenge. It was good working with that movie, cause even though the main plot may be sad, in my opinion it is a very sweet and funny movie. Story: Drew Baylor is ready to end his life. After causing his company to lose almost a billion dollars because of a shoe he designed, he wants to commit suicide. But many coincidences come together. The first is, that right before he can kill himself his sister calls and tells him that their father died. Now it is his duty to go to Elizabethtown and prepare everything for his funeral. The other coincidence is that on the plane to Kentucky he meets the stewardess Claire. The whole time he's there Drew knows he'll be back home soon and then finish the job. He didn't expect that in the end he'll find his joy of life again through Claire. She shows him what there is to live for and that even though he failed it's not the end, but only the beginning of something new. Note to judges: As for my category (joy) I wanted to show, that even in dark times there can still be joy. He lost his job, his father, his will to live, but he found love and joy again. The way he changed through the trip to Kentucky is shown. Many people seem to think that emotional video means it needs to show that emotion in people having angry, sad, cheerful or angsty faces. I think that the video needs to show of course one of these emotions, but also involve the viewers. I tried to do that. I tried to include them, not only show them his happy times, but also show sadness and how he deals with it, how he manages to get out of his desperation, that the viewer feels with him, be happy with him. I dedicate it to Bee, you kept me going with this vid, even though I was so desperate at times, thank you :) And also a biiiig thanks to my betas! :D Quotes (if you don't understand them properly): Drew: I would go to Kentucky, put my father in the blue suit, bring him home. First of all, I wanna dedicate this vid to Sarah (SweetBrooke23) for her Birthday. I didn't start it for her, but I finished it for her which is more important :P As for the story of the vid.. It's about Caspian's feelings towards the Pevensies (again, D'oh), especially about Susan. But it's not actually about love, it's more about him being a prince and them being the kings and queens of old. He wants to "breahte" as they "breathe" and "stand" where they "stand" as is said in the lyrics of the song. Description: In the beginning Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy are leaving Narnia. The colourful and beautiful place turns more and more grey, as does their live. A few thousand years later and Caspian's pov. He comes to Narnia and it's more or less following the story of the movie.
