Vetr Eldr Main Concept Art - Digital Speedpaint Butterfly 2023-12-09 | Hi butterflies!!!Here's the last piece of concept art I did for Vetr Eldr. Whereas the other 2 were concept scenes this one was the main concept art. Essentially a movie poster.So I have Butterfly, Sweetleaf, and Arminius in the center. With the background split between the destroyed cities of the previous packs and forest that the wolves call home. In the foreground corresponding with the split are the two warring sides, the devourers vs the wolves. For the colors I wanted something that evoked the title Vetr Eldr meaning Winter's Fire. So, there's an overall cool, wintery color palette, with a strong deep orangish-red from the center like fire.The art is a bit old now and it was a bit rushed (I think I finished this the day it was due XD), but I am really happy with how this turned out. I think it looks really cool and could make for a cool poster. Once I get Vetr Eldr on its feet I'll definitely have to revisit this idea!!Also I've opened commissions recently!! Youll Go No Further - Digital Speedpaint Butterfly 2023-09-13 | Hi butterflies!!!Here's the second story scene for my worldbuilding class last semester. The world I used for this project is Vetr Eldr. For this piece my goal was to show one of the main territories of the packs (in this case Eldr Pack in a deciduous forest). As well as an example of the magical powers in this world, Valkyrie's Fire. To give more context to the piece I added the two wolves in the background for Butterfly to be protecting from the devourers in the foreground.The little story I made for this scene is that two tenderpaws (wolves in training, like apprentices from Warriors) went out on their own to prove themselves. However, once coming face to face with the devourers they realize just how in over their heads they are. The two try to hide, but the devourers are quickly approaching. Meanwhile, the pack has realized these two are missing and Butterfly is sent out to find and retrieve the two tenderpaws. This scene would be what follows. Not an actual scene I plan to have in the story, just something that could happen.I'm super happy with how this painting turned out. It is definitely one of my favorites, right there with Down the Rabbit Hole. I also really love how the wings turned out. This piece is where I came up with the new design for the wings. Hehehe and let's ignore that I accidentally have the snow blowing the wrong way in the animation XD Aside from that the animation also came out really cool!!! What Remains - 3D Modeling and Digital Speedpaint Butterfly 2023-07-26 | Hi butterflies!!!Alternate Title: When you're too lazy to model stairs, but also forget to draw them as stairs in the final painting so instead everything is ramps XDThis was part of my worldbuilding class last semester. We had to make 3 concept art pieces: 2 story scenes and one main concept art (kinda like a movie poster). This is one of my story scenes. The world I was using for this project is Vetr Eldr. For this piece my goal was to show one of the destroyed cities from the previous packs (humans). My idea for the civilization of the previous packs is a magical fantasy world. I decided to use Gothic cathedrals/churches and a bit of Rococo architecture (though that doesn't really show) as my main inspirations when making the castle and buildings.Overall, I'm very happy with what I got done in the time we had. However, I definitely want to come back to this idea and redo it someday. I really like the idea of this piece, but I rushed it at the end a lot. So, the buildings pretty much didn't get painted and I have some ideas I want to try for the architecture. I do really love the final mood and way the city is destroyed though!! I envisioned whatever happened here left residual energy or power that causes large sections of the buildings and rubble to float in space. 2023 Graduation - Digital Speedpaint Butterfly 2023-07-12 | Hi butterflies!!!I gotta remember to not flip the canvas so much. I did my best to cut out the worst of it, but this whole recording has soooo much flipping. Aside from that though I tried something new with the intro for this speedpaint. I like it and think I'm gonna continue making little edits for the beginning like this. Let me know what you guys think^^Now onto the actual drawing. I graduated May 12 and finished this piece a week after. I truly believed Teach would live to see me graduate and then the same with Vane. Jangsanbeom KR AU Warriors MAP - Part 51 Butterfly 2023-06-14 | Hi butterflies!!!It's done!!! My first new map part in almost 2 years! lol and it very well may be another 2 till I make another XDI am beyond happy and excited with how this part turned out!!! Sunken Soundwaves - Animation Process Butterfly 2023-05-31 | Hi butterflies!!!Here's the process video for Sunken Soundwaves. For the second project in this class (the TV animations) I had to use only Toonboom to make the final animation (the class was provided Toonboom Harmony Advanced) so I decided to start using Toonboom for this project to practice. I was initially going to do all the editing and puppetry in Toonboom, but realized what I had in mind for the clothing wasn't really what Advanced could do. I also didn't like messing with the speed control for tweened key frames in Toonboom, it felt clunky and like a hassle to have to open separate windows to mess with everything. So, I just did all my final editing and compositing in After Effects like usual and I'm really happy with the final result. I'm glad I did that because it looks much better than it would've if I tried using only Toonboom for this. The TV animations I did use only Toonboom though; aside from sketching, for both projects I did all my sketches in ClipStudio. I also did the end drawing and backgrounds for this animation in Clip.Using Toonboom wasn't my favorite. I think if I had used Toonboom before ClipStudio I would've liked it a lot more. But personally I like all my brushes and the interface of ClipStudio better and I can do pretty much everything and more that Toonboom can do with ClipStudio and After Effects. Toonboom seems great for puppet animation, but that's more for Premium with all the nodes, not Advanced—which is what we had. To me Toonboom felt lackluster and annoying for the type of animation I like to do, but if you prefer vector and puppet animation it definitely would be great. Count It Down! - Animation Butterfly 2023-02-28 | Hi butterflies!!!This is for my VC class. We had to make a 10 second looping countdown animation. Hehehe this may be damn near a week late, but I also think I probably made it way more complicated and animation heavy than it needed to be. Soooooo yea. I'm super happy with it though!!! And it's the first school animation since first semester junior year that I feel like I got everything completely how I wanted it. I didn't forget anything, I didn't rush the editing and thus forget things—cough cough Burn Trailer cough, I still love the Burn Trailer but my god was the editing rushed and I forgot quite a few things; I think the only part that was fully edited in that was the beginning shot XD. No joke I was exporting the Burn Trailer at the start of class the day it was due (Ｔ▽Ｔ)Anyway, like I said I'm super happy with the final result!! The animation came out smooth and I love the transitions!!! Let me know what you guys think^^The idea for my countdown was to have the backgrounds switching between solid color (with the medium blue and coral pink) and painted backgrounds. So 10 is my logo, 9 is painted clouds, 8 is butterflies with 8 as a marking, 7 is Vetr Eldr (because Butterfly is the 7th Valkyrie in the story), 6 is human me and wolf me, 5 is more butterflies, 4 is bubbles, 3 is Butterfly, Teach, and Vane (3 characters), 2 is Loki and I (2 characters), and 1 is my human design outlooking a starry night sky over the ocean and a forest in the fg with butterflies on the ground (1 character). The idea is 1 brings everything together: the sky from 9; butterflies from 8 and 5; the ocean from 4 and 3; the night sky represents the stars for Teach, Vane, and Loki from 2 and 3 (in the nebula you can see their 3 stars); and me for 6, 7, and 10 (as well as the forest for 7).There's also two versions of the song because the one without lyrics fits for a countdown better, but I just liked having the lyrics as well so that one is for me^^Also the requirements were to make it square aspect ratio for Instagram, but I wanted to post it full screen here as well. So, I kept all the main animation and bits in the square aspect ratio and it works really well on all but #2. That one doesn't fit super well in the square.Oh and yea if you follow me on Instagram you've probably seen Butterfly got a redesign—again (⌒_⌒;)—as well as human Butterfly. Which is just me lol (aside from the eyes, I may have blue eye but they aren't no vibrant light teal XD). Designing an Underwater Singer - Digital Speedpaint Butterfly 2023-01-11 | Hi butterflies!!!Here's the design process for Splendella!! The singer character from my Sunken Soundwaves animation. She is the first human character that I've fully drawn and like the outcome of^^ I do like Ymo from the Laser Tag animation, but I purposely gave them a mask, so I didn't have to draw a face XD Plus at times Ymo's anatomy is a bit janky. So, yea I'm super happy with how Splendella came out!!! And I got a little carried away with desiging her outfit (⌒_⌒;) it was a lot of fun XD Sadly most of that footage I either forgot to record or was broken T.T But yea I'm really happy with Splendella's design and it made me want to practice humans some more. I think next, I wanna draw myself and design an outfit as Butterfly^^Oh and Splendella's name is a mixture of Betta Splendens (the scientific name for Betta Fish) and Chrysaora Hysoscella (the jellyfish I based her design off). The reason is her outfit was inspired by that jellyfish and the colors looks like a Betta Fish^^Also, I'm thinking should I finish designing the other outfits and make them adopts? Would you guys be interested in that?Also, quick little rant. I did all the base editing in Premiere Pro because the new filmora update broke the preview render for me. I can't render video footage now to playback smoothly, which makes it impossible to cut out pauses and such in the footage. So, I exported the edited footage from Premiere and put it into Filmora to add the text and transitions. I really hope this isn't a permanent feature because the whole reason I chose Filmora as my editing software when I started my channel (about to be 5 years now) was for the preview render button, which meant even on my laptop I could get a smooth playback to check everything was looking right before exporting. ToT I like using Filmora for editing and it's a bit annoying having to switch between two programs to get the video edited, but oh well. BURN - Vetr Eldr (Winters Fire): Monarchs Rise - Trailer Animation Butterfly 2022-12-07 | Hi butterflies!!!Another Vetr Eldr trailer!!! These are a lot of fun to make and this came out soooooo cool!!! There are some rough spots, mainly the tweening in the beginning as I was rushing it due to lack of time. I've been continuing Vetr Eldr, which has changed a bit since the last iteration. Mainly the introduction of a past human civilization which fell in what is known to the wolves as Ragnarok. From that came powers and the devourers. Beings whose only purpose is to devourer powers—and the beings attached to them in the process. I've leaned into the Norse influence more. The other inclusion I'm not certain on is the ravens. Or if I want ravens to be the familiar/symbol of all the Valkyries as a whole. But that's not really important to these animatics. Sunken Soundwaves - Music Festival Promo - Animation Butterfly 2022-10-17 | Hi butterflies!!!Here's my first Motion Design II project. I had to create a 25-30 second promo animation for a music or film festival. I chose to do a music festival! I decided on an underwater theme for the festival and the music genre is Vocaloid covers and songs that sound similar. I created this character, Splendella, to be the mascot/performer for the festival. The idea is she could be a projection performing on stage with the singer, similar to Hatsune Miku or KDA concerts. This was fun to make and I'm happy with the end result!!^^ And I'm so happy with how Splendella especially turned out. I've drawn very few people and only animated Ymo before. So, she turned out super cute!! And another challenge was I made this in Toon Boom Harmony Advanced. My school got it this year and we are required to use it for my next project, so I decided to start using it for this one to practice. I have mixed feelings on Harmony. It's a good program, but to me it feels needlessly complicated and clunky at times. And I ended up doing all the editing and redoing all the character animation for some parts in After Effects anyways. Everything I use I have in Clip Studio, and I end up doing all the final compositing, effects, and editing in After Effects anyway so I can't say I'll be switching to Harmony. I'll be sticking to Clip Studio for my animations still! I love the interface and my brushes so much more in Clip Studio^^Also, shoutout to The CavyStorm for the festival name!! I could not think of a good name, and Sunken Soundwaves fit perfect!!! I also love that both words start with S, it's great!That's all I hope you guys enjoy!!! Floral Embrace - Artfight 2022 - Digital Speedpaint Butterfly 2022-10-05 | Hi butterflies!!!Here is my last artfight attack from this year!! This was an attack on Rainfalls of her character Owly artfight.net/character/1933852.001-owly. Owly has such a cool design and I wanted to make another piece similar to Daffodilspring. So Owly was perfect with all those pretty flowers!!! My idea for the piece was to have Owly laying in a field of flowers, but that would've taken way longer than I had time for. So I have her laying in more outlined, abstract flowers. Her mask is also really cool, especially the dark starry underneath. So I wanted to incorporate that somehow, so I have her on her back with the stars peeking out underneath her mask. Really happy with how this turned out!!Also, this will be the last regularly uploaded speedpaint for a bit. I have recordings for the Betta Run Cycle and other speedpaints, but little time to edit them. So those will be a bit. In the meantime, I have more animations coming up for school to show you!! 2 Music Festival Animatics Butterfly 2022-09-19 | Hi butterflies!!!For my VC, Motion Design II (from here on referred to as MD2), class the first project is to make a festival promo. Either music or film festival. I had two ideas I couldn't pick between. The first one is an underwater themed music festival, the genre I'm thinking is anime songs/vocaloids and kpop (pretty much just KDA). Oh, and also maybe NCS songs, similar to the one used for the animatic. So, the character in the first animatic would be the mascot for the music festival, but also potentially a projection/animated on the screens during the concert. Similar to the KDA concert (hence why I included that) or the Hatsune Miku concert. This is the idea I'm going with because the animatic itself makes more sense as a music festival. It reads a lot better than the second idea.The second idea was much vaguer because I couldn't figure out if it would fit a music or film festival better. I more was just going with a feeling and animating to the song (I mean I was with the first one too, but I knew music and underwater for that one). The theme I came up with was rebirth/life. So, it starts with the wolf looking out at a destroyed city. A butterfly flies by and the wolf chases after it into the forest. So, going from destroyed to a new start. I then used floral and butterfly imagery for the rebirth kinda idea. Asking friends and family the general consensus was the second animatic was more fun, but the first animatic made more sense. Practicing Eyes - Digital Speedpaint Butterfly 2022-08-13 | Hi butterflies!!!So, before we get into artfight speedpaints, after I finished the expressions speedpaint a little back I still had some ideas about what to do with the eyes and wasn't super satisfied with them. Which is why I made this quick little practice to test out the idea I had for eyes. I'm really happy with how these turned out and it was fun to make. I love drawing the eyes like this now.Also, side note, ignore the box cutouts in the top and bottom clouds for now. I got a new tablet, cuz my old one died, and the aspect ratio on it is slightly bigger. So, after all the artfight recordings the file dimensions and date/time will line up in those boxes. A Fine Summer Day - Storyboard / Rough Animatic Butterfly 2022-07-16 | Hi butterflies!!!This is dedicated to my dog, Loki. He passed away 03-26-22 and was my best bud. Check the pinned comment to know more and get a breakdown on the animatic.In case you don't though. I’m posting the rough animatic cuz I'm also looking for feedback. I want to use this to practice my storytelling and storyboarding. So I would like to hear your feedback. What you like, don’t like, anything!! However, do be constructive not rude. If you don't like something don't just say "I think it's dumb, or bad." Tell me what you don't like "I don't like this scene or think it works well because blah blah blah." Specifically I’d like to hear what you think of the compositions. Especially for the scenes with letters, such as Scene 1A, 1B, 1C, etc. Which is why I have the scene numbers in the corner of the screen to make it easier to tell me which scene you are referring to. For the scenes with letters I’m trying to decide which composition to use and I’d like to know which you like best! Also I’d be interested to hear what your thoughts are on the drawings in the background for scene 10. Should I keep them or not? My hesitance to keep them is because they don’t have much of a direct correlation to the story unless I use B for scene 19. It’s a cute idea, but I’m not sure if it would instead just be distracting or irrelevant overall. Oh and I am going to make a more finished animatic after hearing any feedback you guys have. Before that I have one more rough animatic to make with Teach and Vane (I finally have an idea nailed down for their dedicated animation and have written out the script), so expect to see that first. But for the finished animatic I'll clean up the sketches, add color, and tweening. I'm not sure if this video and the upcoming one for Teach and Vane will ever be fully animated because that would take a lot of time. Redesigning Butterfly - Digital Speedpaint Butterfly 2022-06-29 | Hi butterflies!!!I'm participating in artfight again. artfight.net/~Butterfly LET'S GO TEAM BLOOM!!! hehehe I might just be doing revenges though, idk got a lot of stuff I'm trying to finish before classes start again.~Here's my new ref sheet. What number is this...6 I think, not counting the random sketch ones I make between the finished ones XD Lol and last time I didn't think I'd be changing my design anymore. But I did and I'm glad I did. I've been playing with different design ideas recently and here's all the final ones. Oh and the new necklace which will be explained with the upcoming animatic (it replaces the old gold necklace for the phoenix form too).So the changes. Added a new set of markings in the light grey; I also lightened the grey so it looks a bit more like a slightly darker white instead.I then lowered her back leg marking because with the addition of the light grey it felt like I was losing too much of the white. I've also changed her wings. I wanted wings that more resembled butterfly wings to match her name, but I also didn't want to lose the feathered wings. So, I added two sets. And I liked the idea of them being versatile, so she can have just the top or just the bottom active. However, to fly she requires both sets. I really like the shape I got for the Betta form's tail!!! Battle Worn - Animation Process Butterfly 2022-06-22 | Hi butterflies!!!Here's the animation process for the Battle Worn Animation I made for my dad on his birthday. I'm really happy with how this animation turned out and it looks really cool!!!I also used it to practice his wolf's lightning power. I realized after the Winter's Fire Teaser that I needed more practice with it and to find a look I liked. I could still use more practice, but I'm quite happy with the look of the lightning in this. Let me know what you all think, does it look like lightning? And if you have any constructive feedback (good or bad) or suggestions, also feel free to let me know^^Oh and I also learned there's a lot more you can do with the ClipStudio keyframing system than I initially thought. So I also used this to mess around with it. I still prefer doing polished keyframing in After Effects though because I have more control over the interpolation (messing with the little handles to speed up or slow down the tweening). Supposedly you can do it in ClipStudio as well but everytime I try it just moves the drawing and I can't find a tutorial that shows how, so idk. I can definitely see myself using it for animatics though. It's good for roughing out the tweening.I think that's about all. Have a good rest of your day!! Battle Worn - Animation Butterfly 2022-06-13 | Hi butterflies!!!Today is my dad's birthday, and this is the gift I made him. It was originally just gonna be the loop to some music and maybe lightning effects. But then I found some good ncs songs and for this one I knew I could add a bit of editing to make it more interesting (which is also why it's not as crisp as I'd like cuz I wasn't planning on zooming in on it)!! For the loop I wanted to practice his lightning more, as well as mess around with the tweening in csp. So the whole animation was done in csp, while the final editing was a mix of after effects and filmora. I likely won't use csp for tweening again, aside from maybe storyboards. I couldn't figure out how to change the speed of the tweening with the handles like you can in after effects. Everytime I mess with something in the graph editor it just moved it on the canvas which wasn't what I wanted. So I'll just stick with final tweening in after effects since I get more control. For this though it worked just fine in csp. That's about all I can think of rn. Expressions ;3 - Digital Speedpaint Butterfly 2022-05-28 | Hi butterflies!!!I love doing these expression sheets!! They're so fun and also a great reference for my improvement^^ It's fun looking back at the older ones and seeing how my styles changed and improved. Speaking of which—as I typically do with these—I experimented a bit with my style. I was testing out thicker vs thinner lineart and how I wanted to line the eyes. I also was trying to be looser with my linework and staying zoomed out. I struggle to not zoom in and make every line perfectly straight and connected with no frays or anything, too much of a perfectionist. I'm pretty happy with what I landed on tho, still will probably tweak it a bit but this is roughly what I'm thinking. Also I used the ClipStudio timelapse feature for this. It's useful to have for when I'm flipping or zooming in and out of the canvas like a madwoman. So I used that for some parts where it was just painful to watch XD I looked it up and apparently it can't go higher than 1280x720 tho. So idk if I'll keep using it, since then when also zooming in it gets too a pretty low resolution.And then there's a doodle of Teach and Vane to fill the gap^^Mmmm that's about it. I was hoping to have some animations up next week, but I don't think either of the things I'm working on will have wips ready by then and I gotta start working on my dad's birthday and father's day stuff. So instead I might edit a process video for the Winter's Fire Teaser, we'll see how much of a mess it is to grab all the files for that XDOh and don't forget to let me know which are your favorite?^^ I think mine for this batch would have to be ahh so hard to choose. Style wise I really like the last 4 (they're all the same style). For expressions H6, B3, and C8. But ahh I really do love all of them in this batch. I can't say there's one I'd like to redo or that isn't my favorite like in the last 2. Good Vibes - Digital Speedpaint Butterfly 2022-05-25 | Hi butterflies!!!Ahh meant to have this up last Sunday and forgot. But here it is now!^^So I made this back in February for Kill Joy's birthday, but didn't have time to edit the video together with school work so I held onto the footage till break. I'm still really happy with how this turned out. Especially, since I remember I was struggling with an idea for the pose. In the end I just decided to use the one from Kill Joy's ref I made and redraw it in a full illustration. It was a fairly quick drawing since I didn't have much time, but it looks cute^^P.s. Amphibious Affection - Mothers Day - Digital Speedpaint Butterfly 2022-05-08 | Hi butterflies!!!Happy Mother's Day!!^^This is the gift I made for my mom. It's a bit of a continuation of one I made a few years ago, the frog forest, youtu.be/nJV3UcZE9HQ. It's a forest of frogs—they're her favorite animal. In this piece it's Australian Green Tree Frogs, cuz those are her favorite. She likes the big dump truck frogs XDI speed ran this in like a day, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. It looks really cute. I also tried something new with making the composition not the full page, but more of a cutout. Also I'm done with the semester and on summer break now!!^^ So I've got a bunch of projects in mind. For one, you may have noticed Teach, Vane, and Butterfly were missing from the corner. That's cuz I lost the file when my hard drive killed itself, but I've been planning to redo all the channel art anyway. Running the Rapids - Georgie White Clark - Animation Butterfly 2022-05-02 | Hi butterflies!!!Here's my final VC project for this semester!!! All that's left is 2 art history exams and then I'll be fully on summer break!!So for this project I had to make a 2-3 minute animation on a person from flagstaff. From the list, I chose Georgie White Clark and came up with this idea for my animations. I wanted something simplistic—so it'd be easy for me to draw after the beast that was the Winter's Fire Teaser and I thought a style similar to storytime or explainer videos would work well—so I kept all the forms simple shapes. When I was doing a second pass of the character design I was watching a drawfee video where they were drawing based off newspaper cartoon captions, youtu.be/fJ0sk8MoKp8, and I loved Karina's simple chibi style so I used that as inspiration as well. But also I already had a newspaper animation in the video so I thought why not lean into that, so I laid out the images and videos like a newspaper. And I tried to emulate newspaper style cartoons with the lined backgrounds and hatching shading. I also had the text along the bottom to act as the newspaper captions. Overall, I'm happy with how this turned out. It wasn't my favorite project, but I think mine works well for what it is and I'm pleased with the end result.Also this is for the NAU Special Collections. Winters Fire (Vetr Eldr) - TTOB - Teaser Butterfly 2022-04-27 | Hi butterflies!!!OMG this beast is done!!! This is the biggest animation project I've done yet and I'm sooooooo proud of it!!!! And in such a short time o.o I had 5 weeks to do all the animation, backgrounds, and editing—with other homework and classes; and I am so glad to be done XD It was a lot of fun, but staying up anywhere from 2-6 am a lot of nights this past month have not been XD Not done yet tho ToT Still got one VC project left to go and 2 art history exams XD Ahhh but I am just so happy with this, it looks awesome. Well worth the time.And drawing the blood for the "will" part was a lot of fun XD I have discovered from this blood is fun to draw idk why. Plus there was some lip sync which I love to animate. And sad/angry faces are a lot of fun to draw too.So onto the project details. I had to make a 30 second teaser, animated short, or infographic. I chose to do a proper teaser for Winter's Fire, since technically the last video was a title sequence but it came out quite trailery. I chose to use this song cuz it's actually one of the planned amvs in the series. However, the idea for this one in the series is as a recap of what I'm considering the first arc of the story, so I thought it'd work well for a teaser. The beginning with Arminius talking is the same as I originally imagined, but everything after I changed for the teaser.Also little bit of lore, when Butterfly is resurrected she feels all the pain of dying in one second, so she essentially passes out and instinct takes over. For her it's like when you're underwater; everything is distorted and you can't quite tell what's going on above the surface but you know somethings is. So she can kinda see what's happening but not really nor control anything (for HTTYD fans my idea is similar to what happens to Toothless in HTTYD2 when the alpha takes over his mind, she'd move and act in a similar way too). Her fire then becomes like a wildfire and goes crazy. Plus she hunts whoever killed her until she kills them or wakes up. The only way to wake her up is essentially to tie her back to the living world through something she deeply cares about and recognizes (like a family member, friend, specific sound or smell, etc). Or until she passes out from using her power too long :p The reason for this is pretty much so she's not too op and dying still has drawbacks even if she comes back. Originally that was going to be what happened at the end, but I realized her wings would have to be pretty crazy and I didn't want to lose the silhouette.So what's happening.It starts in a snow storm in the afternoon, nearly night. Arminius (grey, brown, black wolf, my dad's character) tells Butterfly a story (white, grey, black she-wolf, me) of a time she doesn't know. When the war begun. A flashback commences with Arminius running through the woods. He comes upon a pool of blood—can you guys guess whose? We pan up to his face, he's upset. Fade to Butterfly panting. She collapses and we see the dead body of Arminius. In the reflection of her eye a shadowy wolf lunges forward. Fight sequence. Who dies? Who dies first? The phoenix will rise!!So the way I broke down the story is. A father tells his daughter the story of why they left their home. (This is conveyed visually and through the lyrics). It cuts to a flashback of said story where the father runs up to the body of a dead body. Fade transition to the daughter. She collapses crying, revealing the dead body she's found is her father. A fight sequence commences. (The shadow wolf isn't an actual character, just a representation of the war in the story and conflict the daughter faces.) Fight sequence ends with blood and the daughter's power awakened.
