Gecko GDVery jank and poorly designed level, and I think me saying this about it will tell the creator they fulfilled the intention behind it anyway. Many of koko's platformers feel like old flash games with little playtesting, and whether or not they're your thing relies entirely on how much you enjoy learning new games. Me personally, I'm not a fan, however this one in particular was quite charming visually, and despite it being a massive headache to learn and still being incredibly unfun for a majority of the playtime, it was interesting enough to incentivise me to beat it.
I will say, I would have ACTUALLY enjoyed this level to some degree if it did not require you to re-do the bomb room at 1:12 EVERY SINGLE TIME you get sent back there (which is a lot!!). The rest of the level is clearly designed to make you mad and for that reason I don't believe it's worth criticising, however this decision with the bomb room is not rage-inducing, it's just boring and anti-fun for the player. If that were changed I could see myself giving this a 7-8/10, but as it stands that single handedly ruins the entire experience of the level.
Having said all this, after writing and sitting on the completion, I do find myself liking the charm this has quite a bit more. I changed my send from the end of the video to Epic as I really do appreciate how much variety is in each room and the style it goes for!
Would definitely not recommend playing this if you know this isn't usually your thing, but with all that said it's cool that I beat it :)

I think blocktober is a really cool event that spawns a lot of creative ideas and both this and Blocktober Casino are really cool projects that encompass a lot of neat concepts, but with that being said I found this one rather annoying to play primarily due to the block that follows you for the entire level. It requires you to rush sections that you have to stand still for extended periods of time due to many rooms being cycle-dependent (especially the room at 2:32, this one was especially annoying)
Overall I would not recommend playing this, but I don't hate it. It just got boring towards the end of the experience.

#geometrydashChampions Road by yyene (Extreme Plat. Demon)Gecko GD2026-09-06 | This level is overall put together in a way that makes me question if it was intentionally made to be the way that it is. It's fundamentally not good all over, but that didn't end up meaning the whole level wasn't fun! I actually quite enjoyed checkpoints 3 & 4, and checkpoint 1, while brutally difficult, felt fair and controllable.
Checkpoint 2 is where it all goes downhill because it felt very unfair the whole way through and is definitely the hardest of the checkpoints. Carried by chokepoints and beginning with an absurd sequence of precise left presses made it very boring to be stuck at for the better part of 2 hours. This would have been a solid 5/10 level if it weren't for this checkpoint being the way it is.
Overall I would not recommend this level but I don't find it to be as bad as everyone is saying.

#geometrydashhemoglobin by AbsoGD (Extreme Plat. Demon)Gecko GD2026-09-05 | Very simple and very fun needle level! Unfortunately has a very annoying last (non-coin) jump which brought it down a fair bit, but other than that I like this a lot.
#geometrydashMANIAC 333 by HumanBeing99999 (Extreme Plat. Demon)Gecko GD2026-09-04 | I am going to struggle to formulate my thoughts on this level into something condensed, readable and constructive, but I will try my best.
I do not mind slopes. I quite enjoyed Terminal Heaven and Verbogen, along with all of the slope-related parts of Archipelago (I didn't like the custom gimmicks). With that out of the way, here are my thoughts.
This is the least fun I have ever had on a slope level. This was primarily due to almost every single checkpoint putting something stupid difficult at the start and end of the part. This would create a gameplay loop of banging your head against a brick wall for 10 minutes until you get good at the start, and then you have to build consistency at that just for ONE chance at what would usually just be a complete RNG check at the ending. This happened so much and each time I'd pass one I'd pray it'd be the last instance, but this was a problem that was insistent right up until I made it to the last area (which is much easier than the rest of the level thankfully).
Aside from awful balancing throughout the entire level, another issue was that there are just WAY too many gimmicks. Many times there's a chain of 3-5 custom orbs that is completely indecipherable, serving as a part you have to just trial and error until it works and you get past it. I am fine with trial and error, and made an effort to learn each setup, most of which got pretty consistent. This level is too long for this method to work, though, as by the time I was seeing the confusing setups in my completion attempt, I had been playing unrelated gameplay for upwards of 3-4 hours, meaning I'd completely forgotten how to do the setups and had no way of practicing them, and to make it worse, most of the weird setup parts are DEEP into their respective checkpoints, meaning you need to get insanely good at a bunch of ridiculous gameplay just for once chance at the RNG fest of an orb chain.
To summarise, the balancing and insane amounts of gimmicks created an extremely unfriendly & unfair gameplay loop and these parts would span a majority of the playtime due to being pretty much the only reason the level is remotely difficult.
There are way more minor details such as specific jumps that may as well have been dice rolls too, but I would go on forever talking about individual jumps I disliked. I'd be more than happy to point them out to the creator if they ever wanted to balance update, but I doubt that'll ever happen.
I know they're making another slope extreme, and god I just hope they learn from the mistakes of this one and try to make checkpoints balanced better and use less gimmick spam. The normal slope gameplay in this level is still pretty fun, just like Archipelago, but the issues come from the terrible balancing and gimmick usage.
Some people enjoy this, some people hate this. I'm in the latter group, but don't let me discourage you from trying this. Just be warned that you're getting into a hell of a grind.

#geometrydashregrets by JustSlime (Extreme Plat. So many entity combinations are near-guaranteed death until you have multiple hours of experience and it just gets tiring. In particular, Twin just drags the entire level down as having an entity where you must keep moving constantly AND an entity that forces you to stop moving at the same time is a very bad combination and they are used together constantly throughout the level.
Overall, this level desperately just needs tweaking to be fun at all. Swapping some entities out in certain checkpoints could be good too, but at the very least Twin needs to be nerfed to give you more time to stop moving. Would not recommend playing this until it gets updated if that ever happens.
#geometrydashby No ob (Extreme Plat. There is one bug at the second to last jump where the level pushes you into the spike after sliding against the wall. Luckily it never happened to me from 0 and so it did not hinder my enjoyment, but it's a level-ruining bug that should definitely be fixed if possible given how deep into the level it is!

#geometrydash7 do not wait for 1 by Ivelll (Extreme Plat. Demon)Gecko GD2026-08-27 | Aside from some annoying bugs, this is not a bad level. It's a very unique concept and as far as execution goes there's not a lot that could be improved. With that being said, this was absolutely miserable to play for me. Attempts are so long because the beginning is extremely easy and it ramps up to a ridiculous level towards the end and just made for one of the worst experiences I've ever had mentally in platformer.
Funnily enough, I beat this during my meetup with @liathecatto! We had spent pretty much the entire day up to this point playing 2P levels and as such got quite burned out of the game for the day. Platformer is different for me though, and is a pretty relaxing gamemode, which is why I enjoy it as much as I do, so while Lia sat next to me on his phone I decided to open up this level since I'd been going for it for over a week at that point, just to see what happens. I did not expect to get anywhere but to my surprise I played the best session I ever had on the level despite not playing for ~2 days at that point!
So yeah, a bizarre ending to such a gruelling experience. Perhaps being with somebody in-person helped calm my nerves though, who knows!

This level forced me to my CPS limit, I can ONLY just click fast enough to control my wave for this to be feasible for me, and I know Lia is more than glad for that to be the case LOL
On the contrary, while Lia's ship has some noticeable chokepoints, it was, for the most part, a break for him to just hope I don't die, similar to We Are Not The Same, but with a hint of the RNG from WOBBLING MACHINE. You can never be certain when you're going to beat it because it's hard to practice or see any sort of tangible improvement.

They originally created this for Lia & I's 2P Creator Contest, however could not get it verified in time and missed the deadline. I had no meetup plans for the foreseeable future, but in that time they didn't end up finding anybody else, and so Lia & I decided it would be a great opportunity for another meetup to verify this!
This was a blast to balance & verify. It's a very interesting experience to verify something with another person as you're both changing things as you play and you usually have very little idea how the other person's part plays, so very often you can laugh about some absurd bug you've just found before going to fix it. Definitely one of my favourite 2P experiences to date!
As for the level itself, I find it very enjoyable, albeit extremely difficult, likely being the second hardest 2P level to beat with 2 people, possibly even harder than Codependence solo (but I have no frame of reference on that difficulty comparison). The decoration has great progression too, overall I'm a super big fan of this level, and I sent it for Epic. Would recommend trying out with a friend!!

#geometrydashFATAL by Ebiee (Unrated Extreme Demon)Gecko GD2026-08-16 | A "BRUTAL" spinoff, and for a level remaking one of my favourite extremes, I went in with extremely high expectations. There is no doubt that it completely ascended everything I could have wanted! It flows perfectly, the clicksync is on-point, the balancing is great and I adore the way the icon moves through the gameplay to add to the song representation.
The decoration is reminiscent of BRUTAL, but with a lot more emphasis put onto additional effects & pulses to represent the song. Both levels have a lot of merit to them, and I think each one does something stronger than the other, so it's hard to draw a direct "x is better than y" comparison, which is why I decided to send this one for Legendary too!
Some fun extra details I really liked were the custom progress bar which shows you your progress for the predrop and then resets in beat with the song for the drop. It's a very small thing but it added a lot to the experience for me!
Highly recommend checking this out if it's within your skill range. This is SIGNIFICANTLY harder than brutal, I would say the base gameplay is closer to remorseless-relentless tier, whereas I’d say brutal’s base gameplay is around easy-medium tier.
Be warned that the last wave is by far the hardest part of the level and pretty much never gets consistent. Not sure why it was left as hard as it is but it didn’t hinder my enjoyment despite 3 deaths at it from 0! Should still 100% be nerfed though.

#geometrydashThunder Keep By Moon by Seafarer (Extreme Plat. Demon)Gecko GD2026-08-14 | This is my least favourite kind of experience, because this level is perfectly fine for most of its runtime, and I mean like actually consistent and good!! However nearer the end of the level it has the most unfair, inconsistent chokepoints I've ever seen from a needle level which completely ruin the entire experience. You just get past 50% every single attempt and all you can do is try to guess which chokepoint you're going to die to this time.
I cannot understand making the last gap so ridiculously hard either, it only served to make me feel hopeless because no matter how far I got I still had to worry about what was essentially a lottery right at the end. It's completely unreasonable to ever get consistent at all which means that even if you get that one golden attempt where you pass the rest of the chokepoints, the chances of you actually beating it are next to nothing.
Beyond all of my complaints, the thing I hate the most is that I myself hate the level. I hate that I hate it because of how much of the level is perfectly fine and inoffensive, and if literally 5 jumps were nerfed then it could've had a shot at being a 10/10 experience.

#geometrydashHALL OF THE HOOKKING by Custi (Extreme Plat. Demon)Gecko GD2026-08-13 | Well, if you know me then you’ll know I heavily disliked “HOOKIN UP WITH CUSTI”, the prequel to this level. I was very intimidated by this as a result, and I ended up being very justified in that as it gave me an incredibly hard time.
This level just takes every issue HUWC had and ramps up the difficulty tenfold, leading to more inconsistency, bugs and chokepoints than ever. These things took away my enjoyment completely as each hook just felt like a dice roll.
The bossfight is.. alright. If the scythe attack (3:15) didn’t exist it’d probably be pretty good, but the damage phase being so luck based in how many of the projectiles you can shoot due to placement along with these projectiles being able to miss caused it to be a very frustrating fight.
One last thing is the checkpoint system, where instead of each bonfire being a checkpoint, you only get 3 choices of bonfires to light (+1 for the boss). This level could easily have been a pretty enjoyable experience had they chosen to make each fire a checkpoint instead, as the reason it’s so frustrating is because of how many jumps you just need good luck on. You can feasibly do a few in a row, but once you start combining multiple bonfires worth of gameplay, the luck you need just gets too much.
Overall this experience was just a worse rendition of HUWC for me. I think the hook gimmick is alright but it’s just not fit for extreme demon difficulty.

This was ridiculously luck based and the attacks are just not fair at all, with many of them being literally impossible to dodge due to other attacks happening at the same time. Not to mention the dash mechanic which you cannot change, so you very often dash on accident while tapping left/right to avoid projectiles.
I really like this level's boss concept but it really should have stayed in its medium demon state pre-rate. I hope that they are able to balance this level better somehow as it's just a lottery in its current state.

#geometrydashWaltervallum by walter22gd (Extreme Plat. Demon)Gecko GD2026-08-01 | Very simple & well balanced needle extreme! Had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend if it looks interesting to you!
Really enjoy the style of decoration this goes for, feels like it builds upon Intervallum quite nicely :)
#geometrydashPlane Shift by Arnast (Extreme Plat. Demon)Gecko GD2026-07-30 | Really unique & cool puzzle level that is sadly very unfun to actually play due to many bugs, poorly implemented anti-skips and some major chokepoints in a couple of checkpoints.
Despite not enjoying it, this is still easily one of the coolest levels I've ever seen, I just wish I could have had a good time on it.
#geometrydashTheory of Nebo 2 by FakeHATETAG (Extreme Plat. Demon)Gecko GD2026-07-29 | BANGER autoscroller from hatetag!! I really enjoyed We Forgot Everything so I was pretty confident I would like this a lot going into it, and it sure didn't disappoint! Great sequel to the original, and it executes the random gameplay gimmicks very well! Would highly recommend to anyone interested in beginner platformer extremes :)
Visually it's incredible too, I sent this for legendary personally, definitely one of hatetag's best works!

#geometrydashforgotten veil by Ultramouk (Extreme Plat. Demon)Gecko GD2026-07-28 | This is one of those gimmick levels that would be really fun as an insane demon or below but adding this much difficulty just makes it feel incredibly luck based and annoying to beat. Wouldn't recommend.

Genuinely some of the most fun I've had in this difficulty range in a long time and I highly recommend anyone capable of beating levels around bloodbath difficulty check it out.
I am posting this very late at night so not writing a full description but goodness this level just HITS all around. I personally sent it for Legendary and it's definitely my favourite level from qalli!

#geometrydashBRUTAL by Tshack (Extreme Demon)Gecko GD2026-07-11 | I beat this a really long time ago but just didn’t feel like uploading. Extremely good level and very easy to pick up and learn! Would recommend to experienced extreme grinders but they’ve all already beaten it LOL
Some of the best extreme gameplay out there for sure tho!! Took me 15 minutes to learn & beat from scratch which is the fastest I’ve ever beaten an extreme :p

#geometrydashDyad by awesomeme360 (Extreme Demon)Gecko GD2026-07-07 | Incredible level from start to finish. I really wanted to beat this when it first came out but I was too caught up with other projects. I sent this for legendary and after beating it I can firmly stand in that rating. This is one of the best extremes to come out of 2.2, it's filled with so much love and care with all the little references and easter eggs you can find, and despite the length it never once feels like it drags on too long.
The clicksync is all very good and never desyncs, and I really love how the start and ending are the same barring some minor alterations. It's a really nice way to wrap up the story of travelling from the earth to the moon. The Player 2 integration is really cute :)
My favourite parts visually are definitely the parts with the rotating stars, they are so pretty and well-made and somehow also play incredibly well despite how they may look! Overall I had a blast with this and would highly recommend it to anyone interested!!

#geometrydashTime Pulse by Xinpa (Extreme Demon)Gecko GD2026-07-01 | Pretty cool 1.7 XXXL level! I think this does a great job at making each part feel fresh and unique from the last one, however as far as my enjoyment goes it started to dip near the end as every one of my attempts would pass 50% and die to something stupid.
Overall I probably wouldn't recommend this unless you're a huge fan of XL levels as it can be a lot of gameplay to endure.

#geometrydash[New Hardest] The Golden 89% (Fluke from 52%) // Top 105Gecko GD2026-06-30 | Hope I can pull through with this. I don't normally post progress videos on my channel anymore, but this feels significant enough to warrant one. This level has been a dream of mine to complete for the longest time now, and to have gotten this far is extremely surreal. This is a huge progress fluke so I do not expect to get back here for a good while, but I am extremely hopeful for my future playing this.

#geometrydashDigital Descent by ViPriN (Extreme Demon)Gecko GD2026-06-26 | My first progress video of this level was 69-100 uploaded on July 16th, 2022. It feels great to finally finish this off almost 4 years later!
I really hated this back in 2022 as it was far above my comfortable skill level, however coming back to it and shredding it in just 2-3 hours of playtime made it a lot more fun! I wouldn't recommend this as fundamentally the level is still pretty terrible (especially in 2.2), but if you are the type of player to get through this incredibly quickly then maybe give it a shot!
I used to use this mashup back when I first played so thought it would be fitting if I kept it for this comeback :)

#geometrydashYoull Never Be Alone by Amatsu23 (Insane Demon)Gecko GD2026-06-24 | A genuinely beautiful & heartfelt 2 player demon. It starts out simple being focused on P1. At 0:10, clouds start to appear in the sky, and P2 rests above them. To me, this level communicates a "loved one watching over you from heaven" theme. The ship part afterwards dedicates the level to many people who I assume are close to/helped the creator while they were making this. The parts that follow are relatively normal pieces of gameplay, likely to symbolise just making your way through life after losing whoever P2 represents for you.
The drop hits at 1:06 with more clouds furthering the theme of being watched over and the level gets vibrant and colourful! Throughout this drop part, all of the black details pulse white every time P2 has an input as if brightening the bad parts of life by supporting the main character through their struggles. I really enjoy this part as the vocals in the song which sync to P2's inputs sound incredibly encouraging, being mostly "woo!" and "hey!". It's like you can still hear them by your side supporting you every step of the way and gets the message across nicely.
The ship part at 1:22 is one of my favourites gameplay wise, as the flow of the ship's movements feels extremely satisfying. You follow a rainbow path in front of you, falling down to the ground and hitting yellow pads in sync with P2's inputs, as if P2 is giving you the encouragement to keep flying and moving forward. It's almost as if P1 is struggling with motivation but can't give up because they would disappoint P2. I especially like the shape of the first yellow pads at 1:24 being a heart as it solidifies my interpretation of the level's story quite strongly. The second pad cluster at 1:28 is a star which seems like a "follow your dreams" symbolism.
We reach the end of the ship at 1:35 where the sky above the player is dark & filled with stars followed directly by a part inspired by old "Sunset" styled levels. Clearly this is when nightfall hits this level's story. It starts in a forest, moves through the thunder clouds, through a cave, over a bridge above the river, through the city/village area, across another river, into a flowery garden looking area and finally comes to an end as darkness surrounds the screen once more. I like to think of this section as P1 visiting locations they used to frequent when P2 was still with them, reminiscing on the good times.
At 1:52 we return to the first part of the level again, and to me everything we've seen up to this point is the story of P1 making it through one day without P2, and this part is them finally falling asleep for the night (given the previous part was clearly themed around the nighttime). At 2:05, the song's vocals start, and similarly to the first half, the vocals mean P2 is the one in control. Since I believe P1 to be asleep at this point, I like to interpret the rest of the level up to the finale as a dream sequence where in their dreams they are imagining P2 singing to them & encouraging them through life.
One part I like in particular is 2:50 where there's a clear barrier between P1 and P2 potentially showing they are part of different worlds now. All the while the song is singing "You'll never be alone".
The second drop at 3:04 is different to the first, not having any inputs from the non-dominant player, and I believe this is intentional to try to represent P1 feeling too depressed to try anymore. Despite this, throughout the part, some platforms from P2's gameplay (such as 3:07) let P1 slide on them as if encouraging them to keep trying. The imagery in this part (and level as a whole) is very centred around hearts and stars, which I assume to be love and chasing your dreams. I enjoy this part's atmosphere a lot.
At 3:31, P2 falls through a fake triple spike and then bounces up off the ground once more, which communicates a sort of "even if you fail, get back up and keep trying" motivation. P1 then gets the EXACT same formation of pink pads to bounce off of, finally getting the push they need to keep going. A small detail here is the trails in the background guiding the players. P1 follows hearts and P2 follows stars. Some like to believe that each star is a loved one looking down on us, and P2 being a star is so beautiful for this metaphor.
With the help of P2, P1 gets back up to try another day, dancing with P2 nearing the end of their dream. The inputs in this section alternate a lot between the players with very few inputs at the same time, as if P2 is teaching P1 how to play again. At the end of it all, we loop back to the start, where the endscreen continues the heart & star symbolism.
A big aspect of why I fell in love with this level was because of how open-ended the interpretation is. P1 and P2's relationship could be anything you want it to be and you can personalise it to your own life depending on what you've gone through. It's a beautiful way of portraying such a story with such limited visuals.

#geometrydashretrophonic by ZeroSR (Extreme Demon)Gecko GD2026-06-20 | Level with ridiculous wave chokepoint at 64%. That's all I knew prior to starting this, and honestly I enjoyed it a lot! That being said I am very glad this level has now been updated to balance the level much better. The skip I used in the ending is patched.
#geometrydashSappho by 1haveaname (Unrated Extreme Demon)Gecko GD2026-06-19 | AWESOME lesbian themed level, thought I'd beat this as it's both pride month and unrated appreciation month!! This level has a few gameplay quirks that need to be fixed which the creator knows about, so hopefully a fix gets pushed soon. With that being said, this level is still awesome in its current state!! Would definitely recommend checking out :)
