[PoE 2] Burning the Endgame with my Pet Elephant ~ Build Showcase
updated
► Yooooooooo, Exiles!
Quick Update for my Raging Spirits/Arsonist build. Decided to rerun +4 Xesht so you can better judge the upgrades/changes compared to my last run.
-------------------------------
Changes:
- After the Res changes in maps I didn't need as much anymore, so i dropped my rare shield and added Oaksworn. I had to change my rings to fit resistances and to not overshoot chaos res. This also meant I didn't need as much strength anymore to wield my shield. I dropped a bunch and added some more Int/Dex via my rings.
- Having more Int from gear I was also able to free up some points on the tree.
- I increased my Raging Spirits gem lvl to 20.
- I sniped a Prism of Belief Jewel for +3 to Raging Spirits for 10div.
- I swapped out my Ruby Jewels as I felt they didn't add much. Added Prism of Belief + one Sapphire.
- Added Danse Macabre for Pain Offering. Dropped Font of Blood.
- Mapping setup on Arsonist is now Acceleration + Magnified Effect.
► Yooooooooo, Exiles!
My Arsonist/SRS Infernalist has evolved into a well-rounded build. Still improving, but here is an okaish Xesht kill for you.
For some reason Exposure dropped off half way through the fight, sucks because the boss has 75% Fire Res. Not sure what happened, could have been faster. I guess Exposure gets only applied when the dog ignites, and since he has an ignite aura he doesn't technically "re-apply" ignite for the sake of triggering Exposure. That would be my guess.
-------------------------------
The build is doing a few things different than other Arsonist builds, which is why its performing better.
First is the addition of crit. Even with the low base crit chance you can quite easily hit 40% on bosses. There isn't much scaling potential left on the tree for me, so crit was the natural route to take to further boost dps. I played around in PoB with simulated stats, and yes, its way more damage efficient.
To help with crit caling I am using 2 Time-Lost Jewels. There aren't as good as they could be, but still decent with 3 beneficial stats on them. I have an option for a 3rd, but havn't found a good one yet. Its probably going to be a Against the Darkness Jewel once I farm some more currency.
My Raging Spirits have a more active roll in this build and get to use Martial Tempo. They have innate 40% more Attack Speed according to PoE DB, which should be multiplicative with the 25% more from Martial Tempo resulting in 75% more attack speed. Their single target is very respectable and they are real mvps for clear.
The build is also scaling quite a bit more Accuracy than other minion builds. I noticed SRS missing alot, and Accuracy seemed to boost my dps by alot. I have even taken "Dead can Dance". With my current Dex thats basically ~350 flat Accuracy for my minions. I am not sure if Crits and Accuracy are linked the same way they are in PoE1, but I am hitting the same 3k+ Accuracy that were needed in PoE1.
Another thing I am doing different is stacking Skill Effect Duration. I have ~38% from my regular jewels and another 35% from my Time-Lost Jewel.
The base duration on all your skills suck, especially on Curses and Pain Offering considering the huge mana costs. Not only does this make the build more enjoyable to play, but SRS actually get to go from pack to pack without expiring immediately and I can drop them in a room and move on, knowing that they will clear that room. Clearspeed and boss damage have improved drastically as a result.
Build has lot of room to grow still and I have a few gear swaps planned (Oaksworn etc.).
I felt that SRS was doing a lot of the heavy lifting in my build, serving as my primary clear skill.
To demonstrate the potential of Raging Spirits, I unsummoned all my Arsonists, leaving only the support framework intact. No gems were swapped.
My Raging Spirits gem is level 19, paired with a +4 sceptre.
Links: Martial Tempo, Minion Mastery, Fire Mastery, Feeding Frenzy, Fire Infusion
The boss I tested against has 5m HP, plus 26% of its life as extra ES, totaling ~6.25m effective health. (+30% Fire Res / 0% Cold Res / -30% Lightning Res)
Based on the test, my current SRS setup achieves roughly ~800-900k average DPS.
Conclusion: Quite literally the best 30 Spirit you can reserve.
I’m focusing on refining my gear currently so I am ready for Spectres. I still have to get a few more Jewels and maybe a better Sceptre.
This particular build leans heavily into EHP and Energy Shield recovery, making it basically immortal against anything except boss one-shot mechanics. I tried to squeeze in alot of recharge and faster start of es recharge mods.
I am mapping with ~23k ES thanks to Grim Feast and I don't need to pay attention to anything happening on my screen.
Sanctum is completely free with ~30k honor.
Ultimatum can be facetanked and I can pick up every mod.
Downside of the build - clear feels atrocious in maps.
Back for a "new" Poison Bama. Utilizing my Bloodmagic tech and everything I've learned from this and the last league, this build has evolved into a well-rounded endgame powerhouse. It's the tankiest and laziest Bama build I've ever created—perfect for those who want to crush content with minimal effort. This is quite possibly the strongest poison minion build in the game right now, and a strong contender for the best poison build overall.

► PoB: https://pobb.in/92HvID3C0BBj
(Flasks and Molten Shell are off. I'm level 99 in the video, with a freshly leveled Necromancer. The PoB is set to level 100, with the final point allocated to +1% max cold resistance. In the video, I was using an extra Magic Abyss Jewel, but I've since replaced it with Rational Doctrine for my level 100 push. Despite this change, I was still able to phase Uber Exarch with one less Abyss Jewel during additional testing, making that jewel socket highly flexible.
Guardian Turtle was added via the Spectre menu, and the other Spectre buffs are in the config. Check below for an alternative PoB)

► The mechanics of this build:
Prismatic Clones got nerfed this league, losing the ability to deal chaos damage. I posted several builds in my doc, adjusted for the nerfs, and combined some of those ideas with my newly adopted Bloodmagic Bama. As a result, I was able to push regular Bombarding Clones just as high as the double clone setup, despite the nerfs (Adorned).
With Prismatics out, there's no longer a reason to stick with flat chaos damage. This build now stacks flat physical damage and gains massive extra value using Widowhail and a Vile Quiver base, giving the clones around 52% of physical damage as extra chaos.
Leveraging Plaguebringer, like my lightning Bama, and an Elegant Hubris with 160% increased minion damage, we close the damage gap. We can even use utility jewels like Grand Spectrums to massively boost defense. The damage should feel just as strong as last league's Poison Bama, probably even higher.
The build is incredibly simple to play: one clone, one curse, and one movement skill. Desecrate is only there to enable Plaguebringer in boss rooms—just place it once and you're done. Predator is a swap-in for single-target due to its higher multiplier, while Awakened Chaos Damage Support is perfect for mindless mapping. Everything else is automated.
Defensively, this Bama surpasses all others. You're looking at a 144k max elemental hit and 35k max physical hit taken before Flasks and Molten Shell, with a 7k+ life pool. This build was capable of tanking T17 DDs pre-nerf.
This build should also be fairly "safe" for the next league, as it doesn't rely on any borrowed power except the recombinator body armor. You can easily drop a Spectre or swap the Endurance Charge anointment for Death Attunement and go with the thickest possible body armor without losing much.

► Alternative PoB and Ideas:
I explored several PoBs and ideas before settling on Utmost. Initially, I considered Stranglegasp, fearing Utmost would be too expensive. However, when I was looking, Stranglegasp Amulets were listed for 60+ divs uncorrupted, while a 6% max res Utmost could be found for as low as 35 divs on some days. That’s why I ultimately chose Utmost.
Circling back, though, I discovered that Jinxed Juju could be nearly as effective as Utmost with a few adjustments. While it loses the flex jewel slot and some quality-of-life Eldritch implicits, it should save you a lot of divs and offers better physical and chaos mitigation, and potentially performing better against penetration. Plus, it makes chaos resistance a bit easier to manage.

- Replace Multimod with Cannot roll Attack Mods
- do the usual Exalt + Annul + Metacraft - Spam until done
Affliction Spectres are back, nerfed, but still incredibly strong. This is my take on a postnerf non- Adorned Bama using some new tech and 5 Spectres. The build does great damage, has great clear, amazing in Sanctum, has explosions, Endurance Charges and is fairly tanky. This is a showcase of my build against the endgame at lvl 99.

► The unique mechanics of this build:
This build is a new version of my Affliction Bama. The Spectres I use are mostly the same. Fortune gives a baby Wrath Aura and Lucky Hits with lightning damage. Blasphemer hasn't been nerfed and still provides a massive Smite Aura, but doesn't have 100% uptime. Primal Thunderbird gives Exposure and a Grace Aura. The Forest Warrior provides Onslaught and lastly Guardian Turtle replaces our own Determination Aura.
The most notable new addition here is Bloodmagic on the tree. I have done away with Mana and Energy Shield/EB. Instead of Vow I am using a rare Body Armour with +1 Spectres. Instead of Divine Flesh I am stacking max. elemental res and Endurance Charges. Supreme Ostentation solves our attributes and lets us tattoo our tree.
The only 2 auras that I am running are Precision which is reserved on life and an Eternal Blessing Haste for zoom zoom. There is one button less to press, because Divine Blessing is out and the build doesn't rely on player auras for defense or res, which means we can run map mods like reduced aura effect and no regen.
In earlier versions I did use a Warlord Spectre for Endurance Charges, but unfortunately they would drop off quite often. For consistency I added Grand Spectrums instead and replaced the Warlord with a Forest Warrior.
Prismatic Clones are still used for damage here with two Combat Focus jewels. They still deal absurd damage.
And the last new tech here is Inpulsas + Gravebind on the AG for explosions.
-----------------------------
Additional notes:
My Bow and Body were crafted using Recombinators. The regular fractured bow craft is very close, see the doc for the crafting recipe.
The weapon enchant supposedly works on the clones, giving them 150% on all minion damage, which in my build is roughly ~213% extra increased minion damage according to PoB, or roughly ~20% more damage. I can't 100% confirm that it works. Its very hard to actually test it with crits, lucky hits and the huge damage range on lightning. Enchant at your own risk (3 Power Runes).
The second curse is upto you. I tried Punishment for the extra defense. Ass Mark or Elemental Weakness are fine too.

Back for a "new" Poison Bama. Very unrefined, still 94 and missing 1k life and regen, but this is my take on a T17 B2B PF Bama. I dropped "everything" that isn't needed and kept the gameplay as light and easy as possible. There are no support minions in this, no offering to keep up currently, and no Blessing.

► The mechanics of this build:
"Same" setup as my Poison Necro Bama, using a Widowhail + strong Quiver with Prismatic/Bombarding Clonds. The defense is solved with Pathfinder + max res stacking +. Defiance of Destiny. Other than cold res (88%), the build is sitting at 90% res.
I stripped down the build alot. There is not even a Darkness Enthroned anymore. I am using a Tides of Time instead. I have currently 4 sockets free which I havn't decided what to do with, just yet. Current idea is to push a bit more levels and then try to fit in or atleast try a six-link double clone setup. Easiest solution is to just add Flesh Offering with Inc Duration Support, but I actually would love to avoid that. I could also craft Boots with an Abyssal Socket (I don't need the Int on my current boots) and add a Gaze Jewel + the Offering.
I also ditched a few crafted rares and added "cheapish" uniques like Anathema and Asenath for comfort.
The 12 point Clusters are quite cheap because they have mana which is good for this build, but a failed excalt slam for every other minion build.
This build actually needs to go mana based to be able to use manaforged + Toxic Rain of Withering. This is how this build applies and automates its Wither.
Militant Faith is used to get enough Minion Accuracy and to get +2% max res. If you can't find a +2% max res Seed you can simply path to Prismatic Skin.
The Life Flask has the minion mod on it. This makes the clones "immortal" aslong as they don't get oneshot.
I still have 100+ dex I can/should Tattoo. Flask Life Recovery or maybe just MS.

► The mechanics of this build:
Poison isn't capable of outdoing Voltaxic in raw damage, so I didn't try to maximize damage. However, I believe it can surpass a Tri-Ele Guardian.
I strongly dislike Covenant, and since my Voltaxic build was on the squishier side, I aimed to create something more robust.
So here it is, my new Poison Necro. There are a few innovations here.
Firstly, I am using Widowhail. Typically, a crafted bow is superior, but after experimenting with Momentum Corrupts in 3.23 and 3.24, I found Widowhail could come close with some tweaks. What sealed the deal was adding flat chaos damage on the quiver, which isn't the usual thing to do. Surprisingly, flat chaos on quivers has just one single mod tier, making it easy to lock prefixes and add chaos with a harvest reforge. It fits perfectly into the usual crafting steps of a Chaos Dot Quiver.
To match this final setup, you'd need a perfect 6-mod Elder poison bow, one of the most expensive Bama bows. But Widowhail also provides substantial amounts of health. Overall, this is just more efficient.
Next, I incorporated Prismatic Clones. Quick reminder, they can deal chaos damage. To maximize their mechanics and damage effectiveness, I stacked only flat chaos damage with the quiver, Added Chaos Damage Support and Adorned, which also helps cap Poison Chance. This resulted in a significant damage increase over just using Bombarding Clones.
For defense, I am using a Warcry setup alongside Vow, Divine Flesh, and Juju. Automation with Enduring Cry maintains 4 Endurance Charges, provides a 75% uptime on an additional 8% pdr, offers a huge heal every 4 seconds, grants permanent Onslaught for me and my minions, and boosts armor by 100% via Warning Call. A Perandus Pact Jewel near Grave Pact adds another 117% increased armor. This results in 40k Armor in the Hideout with flasks down and over ~80k Armor while mapping. Coupled with sustain from Diadems' full heal every 5 seconds, Enduring Cry going off every 4 seconds, and Leech from the Ascendancy, the build feels quite sturdy.
I decided against using an Offering due to lack of sockets and the minimal increase in damage compared to the extra micro required.
This build is now heavily automated—a rarity on this channel. You have your 2 clones, no need to spam due to the absence of Fresh Meat, a single Curse for bosses, a Blessing every 18 seconds, and your Movement Skill. Guard Skill and Warcry are automated, providing a rather relaxed gameplay. Also no gem swaps.
My gear can still be improved. I'm using pieces from my Voltaxic build that don't fit here. I'm overcapped on Chaos Res by around 40%. My Unset Ring is subpar, and my boots have dead mods and dead eldritch implicits. I'm considering crafting +1 max Endurance Charge boots, maybe opting for Defiance of Destiny over Juju, or potentially skipping Green Nightmare with Utmost. I have plenty of extra attributes for Tattoos aswell. I am also on the fence about Perandus Pact. I had Combat Stamina in an earlier version so the value was a bit bigger, but this is a jewel I might drop in the future. Could be another magic jewel for 14% more damage or Stormshroud or something and drop Purity. Or double 6-link clone setup and no AG/Spectre? Just needs +1 curse.
Overall, there are many directions this build can go.
-------------------------------
► AG: Kingmaker (leftover, Dying Breath is better), Crown of the Tyrant (White), Garb of the Ephemeral, Asenath, Windscream
► Spectres: Spectral Leader, Wild Bristle Matron, Pale Seraphim

Final update on my Voltaxic Bama Necro.
I did an oopsie on my last video. I was still using Asenath gloves on my AG. I completely forgot that a +1 player / + 1 AG curse does not equal 3 curses. So AG was actually overwriting Assmark or Despair.
Thanks to @rileystrom8530 for reminding me of this in the comments on my last video.
I have now replaced Asenath with Intimidate Gloves which was my actual plan.
I still had some Fragments, so here is some Exarch + Uber Sirus again. I also did test a few support gem combinations, but the "luck-based" nature of this build makes it very hard to accurately judge the supports. Uber Exarch was killed with Conc Effect while Uber Sirus without any gemswap, using Increased Critical Damage Support. I guess at this level of damage you can use whatever and not feel much of a difference.
I added some regular mapping footage and some invitations, so you can see how it plays.

► The unique mechanics of this build (copied from my last video):
The key feature of this build lies in the synergy between Voltaxic and Prismatic Clones. But before diving into why it's so potent, let's discuss Prismatic Clones. These clones have a minion variant of Elemental Hit, with no base damage unlike its player counterpart. With a staggering damage effectiveness, Prismatic Clones convert 100% of their physical damage to Fire, Cold, or Lightning.
Following the principle of alternating elements, they exclusively deal damage of the chosen element, with no impact from non-selected ones. Unlike the player version, these minions can still inflict chaos damage. However, just like the player elemental hit, all added damage of each element persists on the gem. This flat damage applies even if it isn't of the chosen element, and in that case it's only negated after damage conversion has applied. To leverage this mechanic I am stacking a huge amount of flat lightning damage, which was the goto for BAMA in 3.23, augmented by lucky hits via Perquils Amulet and the huge damage effectiveness of Prismatic Clones.
Now, enter Voltaxic - the star of this build. This bow now converts all that flat lightning damage to chaos, leveraging Prismatic Clones' unique mechanic to deal chaos damage, regardless of the element chosen (Fire, Cold, Lightning). Consequently, there's no need to isolate an element via Combat Focus jewels, making Voltaxic the optimal bow for Prismatic Clones. And Necro is now the perfect Ascendancy for this. GGG addressed a prior issue with Voltaxic in 3.24 - Wither application. Further, the big meaty hits of Prismatic Clones can easily cap out the max shock values of Voltaxic.

This is my finished Voltaxic Bama Necro, against some Ubers and T17 content - a "true" BAMA build, making use of both Bombarding and Prismatic Clones for damage. This has the feel of a classic BAMA.
I did hit level 100, and the gear is for the most part finished now. Its not 100% perfect ( could not get the best corrupts) but everything more than this is honestly complete overkill as double hp mod Ubers is a thing of the past.
This build can tackle T17's in under ~2 minutes, demolishes all Ubers on the spot. Absolutely farms Destructive Play, Wisped and Ghosted Bosses and Rogue Exiles.
Just make sure to unsummon your AG for T17s, while you make your way to the boss rooms. DD and explosive barrels tend to oneshot even the tankiest AG. He should be fine against the boss.
Or, just drop all support minions and run a double 6-link clone setup instead and be done with it. This setup has the luxury to even do that without losing as much damage.

The results speak volumes. Such damage output on a single Cluster, not even a 12 passive one, with no real damage aura besides Haste, is kinda unheard of on a minion build. And this isn't even its final form. With a double cluster non-Mageblood version, you can push 300-400m dps.

60% less defense on a Vow EB build is sketchy. But the 100% less recovery on this map was just mean. That means healing and es recharge don't work. No life flask, no regen, no leech, nada. The only way for me to complete this map was to abuse the "healing" of Diadem, which luckily still works. So what you are seeing is me placing Desecrates as a sorta lifeline and making my way slowly through the map, as I rely on Diadem to heal me and replenish my es so I can continue casting. My Blessing was unusable in this map.

Upgrades from Day 2 - Day3:
Bone Ring ~ 5 div (Incredibly lucky, ty random exile. Almost as good as it gets.)
+1 Curse corrupt Perquils ~ 5 div + 1 div Annoint
Unset Ring ~ 1 div (works for now)
Boots ~5 div ( basically perfect)
Gloves ~ 3 div (not finished, but those are my target suffixes)
Vow is fully online now. Spell Supp is fully capped. All my resists, chaos res and my attributes are solved. Perquils + second Curse is online. The core of the build is done.
Now I can start stacking damage. The long min/max journey starts now.

quick update on some Prismatic Bama things and a newish build.
-------------------------------
► PoB in the video: https://pobb.in/oJbqLtyreFYK
► PoB I am following: https://pobb.in/K5V91IrWpnP0
(Random Spectres and no charms were used, just 3.24 prep and testing)
-------------------------------
► Prismatic Clones convert 100% of physical damage to a random element. They don't have any flat damage on their Elemental Hit, but they do have a massive ~400% damage effectiveness, according to PoB numbers. Basically, they have the same Elemental Hit as Enhanced Vaal Fallen. If you stack a stupid amount of flat damage of a single element, cut out the 2 other elements via Combat Focus jewels, you can kinda achieve some stupid numbers with Prismatic Clones. Thats what you are seeing in the video.
I am using a Saboteur with Pyroclast mines to stack flat fire and Icicle mines to cap crit. Prismatic clones deal about ~30-50m dps each according to PoB. I am using both Bombarding and Prismatic Clones in the video, both as 5-link.
The funny thing is, Prismatic Clones can actually deal chaos damage, unlike the player Ele Hit which prevents you from dealing anything but the chosen element. You also don't need Combat Focus Jewels for this "tech" (or bug). In theory you can supplement your single target damage on a poison build with Prismatic Clones. They deal massive damage when socketed in a Covenant or when boosted with Adorned + Abyss Jewels. You can also use them with a Voltaxic Bow and deal chaos damage just fine.

This is my Bombarding Blink Arrow Poison Flaskfinder. No Spectres, no Culling Strike, no damage from Charms.
Prepping BAMAs for next league. Turns out, its quite hard to replace flat damage thats worth multiple lvl 40 Wrath auras.
Poison BAMA never had good offensive Spectres to begin with and this didn't change this league. Using my previous PF setup but with a Covenant, I came up with a version that does not rely on Affliction content. I did not push very far and there is still alot to min/max. I am currently still missing my last Adorned jewel. I also didn't push max damage on my bow and instead went with a QoL trigger craft. This is on a similiar level as Crucible Poison Bama with Return Proj, but with only 3 clones.
The playstyle is quite relaxing overall. Poison Bama does not rely on Fresh Meat and its much closer to a an actual totem build. The clones last ~37 seconds in my current config and you don't need to replace them ( I still do, stupid muscle memory). Once summoned, you can in theory just run circles for half a minute.
Clones also heal 100% of their life per second if you press your life flask, which is kinda funny.
This PF is quite weak against physical damage, so you still need to be careful not to eat too many phys hits. It can tank Uber Elder Rings and an Uber Shaper Slam. Thats about what I can achieve using a Covenant without Determination. Darkscorn is a decent low budget option both offensively and defensively.
There might be better setups, but this works for me. Deathless 96-98 (currently), since the swap from Lightning PF, doing Ubers and WP T16 Wisp farming.
My charms are whatever. Profane Bloom is not needed.

► Bow craft:
- I didn't know what I wanted to craft exactly, so I went with a Thicket Bow which had the multicraft enchant. Its not necessary but makes it easier and cheaper. I paid 8 div for the base.
- If you go the same route, slap a conq exalt on it and reroll influence with harvest till elder.
- With an Elder Bow - Feared Essence Spam until t1-t2 poison dot multi. Yolo annull the 3. Prefix. You need one open Prefix and one open Suffix.
- Welcome to the annoying part. Craft Prefix cannot be changed and reforge chaos and hope you get flat chaos on the Prefix. There are quite a few chaos mods on the Suffixes. Worst case you get a chaos Suffix and the Prefix gets filled up. In this case yolo annull, if brick go back to Essence spam. Took me 5 tries to get this, luckily no bricks.
- Prefixes are done.
- If you have the multicraft enchant, craft Prefix cannot be changed and Aisling. Block with Charge bench craft, and look for minion speed, attack speed, dot multi or trigger. Finish the bow with 2 benchcrafts. Replace heist enchant with harvest enchant.
- If you dont have the multicraft enchant, craft Prefix cannot be changed and reforge speed and pray. Repeat till decent attack speed roll, either Elder or regular. Craft Prefix cannot be changed and Aisling 50/50. Finish with benchcraft.
► Helmet and Gloves craft:
- Same idea for both, assuming fractured Prefix.
- I needed one essence int mod and one essence mana reservation mod while getting chaos res and spell supp. Use pure evasion bases for higher weighting on spell supp.
- Spam Spite/Loathing essences until atleast t2 spell supp.
- You need one open suffix and one open prefix.
- Craft Suffix cannot be changed and Harvest reforge Chaos to get chaos res on the Suffixes. Repeat until you hit enough chaos res to cap.
- Eldritch craft life on the Prefixes and finish with bench.
► Rings:
- Fractured Minion Damage.
- Bound Fossil combo for Suffixes, depending on what you need Minion Life/Res etc.
- You need one open Prefix. Craft Suffix cannot be changed and Aisling/Veiled Chaos and look for a life mod.
- Finish with benchcraft.

This is a Bombarding Blink Arrow Volatility Flaskfinder against a double hp mod Uber Exarch.
There is nothing wrong with the Necro version (check out the previous video if you havn't seen it yet), this is just a different angle. I am trying out a few new techs, aswell as preparing for future leagues, in case the Spectres don't go core. Pathfinder will be able to easily adapt and fit in a March of the Legion + Perquils to replace the damage spectres next league.
-------------------------------
► PoB: https://pobb.in/Gdg_dFAcbUoj
(PoB is set to 100. Still need to do a few tweaks, want to drop Herbalism and I am looking at medium cluster options right now)
-------------------------------
► New Spectre setup:
- Perfect Primal Thunderburd (Grace + Exposure)
- Perfect Spirit of Fortune ( Wrath + lucky hits)
- Perfect Naval Officer ( Fortify + Precision)
- Perfect Blasphemer (Smite)
► Defenses of the build:
- tripple Ele Flask + Progenesis, 100% uptime
- 100% phys als Ele
- 1.8 - 2k regen with Master Surgeon
- 20 Fortification stacks from Kingmaker + Naval Officer
- full Ele Ailment Immunity
- Crit Immunity and Action Speed slow "immunity" from Garb of the Ephemeral
- massively overcapped resistances so I can click all minus res Eater Altars this league
► Master Surgeon as minion heal:
I havn't seen anyone use this or showcase this yet, but its neat. With PFs Master Surgeon, Life Flask effects are not removed when you hit full life. With enough flask duration scaling aswell as flask recovery rate you get perma life flask regen going if you don't forget to press your life flask every 7-9 seconds. Thats nothing new.
But when you also roll the minion mod on your Divine Flask, you can give 200% of that flask reovery to your minions aswell, which in my build translates to almost 4k perma flat life regen for my minions. AG has ~9k life regen in my build without conc ground that the Necro uses.
Dropping Rational Doctrine opens up more damage jewels.
► Mana and +2 helmet:
This PF uses a combination of Militant Faith Timeless + Unnatural Instinct, Flask with mana cost reduction, - mana cost rings, and helm cost reduction to get both the Divine Blessing and Clones down to 0 mana cost. That way Diadem can be dropped for a +2 minion skill gem helmet, which is also needed to push phys damage taken as ele to 100%.
► Damage scaling:
This build uses the same scaling as the Necro version. It drops a few pieces, especially defensive jewels. I added an Adorned setup with magic Ghastly jewels to push the damage even further. This PF version is less reliant on enemies standing in your conc ground, making the dps more reliable. This is especially felt during mapping.
Because I did not need the defensive power of the Warlord Spectre, I decided to run Naval Officer for a massive lvl 30 Precison. I had plenty of mana unreserved, so I added an Aspect of the Spider.
Stranglegasp amulet is used to pick up all the stuff we would otherwise have trouble pathing to, Whisper, +1 Spectre and damage from Redemption and Fearsome Force.
Enhance Support is used to push Ass Marks chance to give power charges, but can also be dropped for a Guard Skill.

This is my Bombarding Blink Arrow Volatility Rational Doctrine Summoner against the endgame.
The build speaks for itself. This is stronger than even Crucible BAMAs, but with only 3 clones instead of ~24. It is easier to play, tankier, cheaper, has better clear, can semi afk content for 45 seconds, has the most broken leveling experience, has incredible early, midgame and even better endgame. Demolishes Simulacrum and 100% Deli. And is incredibly annoying to do Spire strats on, because if a clone happens to look in the general direction of a Spire it just explodes.
Don't think. Just login and play it.

► PoB config and damage explanations:
- Spectre and AG buffs are in the config
- AG gear is in PoB (green)
Whats the actual damage per clone?
I don't know tbh. I tried to figure it out based on shock values. The highest I have seen on a Conc/Elder Guardian/Shaper Guardian was 50%. The highest I have seen on an Uber was 29%. That would mean 100% damage effectiveness on the RoA. Based on my damage and config at 1 frenzy, PoB is calculating a possible 25% Uber shock, which is what I have seen quite frequently, if the Uber boss lives long enough that is. Uber Exarch in the video gets shocked for 27%.
► How many arrows are hitting per clone? AOE yes or no?
Again, I don't know tbh. The player RoA hits apparently an average of ~3.5 times, with Conc Effect support or inc aoe slightly increasing or decreasing the average number of hits. I have set the the clone numbers to 9 for now in the PoB, assuming 3 hits on average. I am using Conc Effect as swap for single target. I am also unspeccing the 30% minion aoe mastery when Uber bossing. I am putting that point in the 25% minion critical strike chance.
For clear the 30% aoe feels great for coverage.
► So whats the actual dps and what to put in the config?
4 average hits at 100% effectiveness would be ~312m dps with everything up and max. shock. That seems a little high but it might check out. The enemies are not always in my consecrated ground. The Perfect Blasphemer Spectre, while trying his best to be a good boi, does have questionable uptime on Smite. Uber Maven in the video got phased on the spot without Smite for example. If we assume slightly lower shock due to RNG and ~3.5 hits, and not immediately proccing 1 Frenzy it becomes a more realistic ~150-250m dps. Hitting 4-5 times but having 60% effectiveness does make sense aswell.
Massively more damage is possible. This isn't min/maxed yet. And a more damage oriented approach could yield half a billion dps.
Anyway, its alot of damage and I need some more info.
-------------------------------
► Spectres used:
Perfect Primal Thunderburd
Perfect Spirit of Fortune
Perfect Warlord
Perfect Blasphemer
► Defenses of the build:
- Determination/ Grace (Spectre)/ Defiance Banner + 100% Spell Supp
- perma Consecrated Ground and Vitality (Spectre) for 1k+ regen
- 3 Endurance Charges (Spectre), 12% phys as ele, 10% phys as chaos, 8% phys DR from Necro, 8% phys DR from Timeless
- The Fourth Vow + Divine Flesh and ~5% baby Unbreakable
- 10% less damage taken with Jinxed Juju
- 10 Fortification stacks from Kingmaker
- reduced Curse effect because of Conc Ground
- full Ele Ailment Immunity
- Crit Immunity and Action Speed slow "immunity" from Garb of the Ephemeral
- massively overcapped resistances so I can click all minus res Eater Altars this league
► Minion defense:
- properly supported with Meatshield/Minion Life/Empower in a +2 Vow
- perma uptime on Conc Ground regen aswell as Convocation. AG has ~84k life and ~8k regen.
- 3 Endu Charges, Phys DR from That Which Was Taken
- 10 Fortification Stacks
---------------------------------
► How to craft the Bow?
- Fractured Attack Speed Ivory Bow. Spine needs way too much dex.
- Essence of Fear Spam until T1-T2 Lightning. Yolo Annul if Prefixes are full. You want only flat Light and Minion Damage with one open Prefix.
- Craft Prefixes cannot be changed
- T4 Aisling until you get a veiled Prefix. If its a Suffix, Prefix cannot be changed and Scour. Recraft Prefix cannot be changed and repeat Aisling. When you get a veiled Prefix proceed.
- Unveil Ele Pen. 100% chance.
- How to get Crit Chance: You have 2 ways.
Prefixes cannot be changed + Reforge Crit. This one is cheaper but can brick your bow. I do this and pray. Worked out twice this league for me. I am not responsible for your bricked bows.
Or, the safe but expensive way: Prefixes cannot be changed into Add/Remove Crit. Didn't hit? Prefixes cannot be changed + Scour. Repeat.
- Finish with Benchcraft.
#pathofexile #summoner #bama #bombarding #blinkarrow
Lets start with Bama. I am currently trying to entirely replace MA and focus entirely on 3 RoA clones and its been working suprisingly well.
I am still missing about 30-40% of my damage in the clips. Overall if you forget about the "borrowed power" we had in Crucible and the short fun with return projectiles, this is about as strong or even stronger than pre Crucible bama, but without Ashes and with 3 clones instead of 20 and tankier and with better clear.
The early and mid game is fabulous now and this is hands down the strongest and fastest minion leveling possible. Even more so if you go with Guardian, which was my first BAMA my league starter. Probably the strongest minion league starter now. Works on a shoestring budget with a Quill Rain all the way upto 4 Voidstones.
I am now playing a Crit Impale Bombarding Blink Arrow Champion, as I havn't done Impale in a while. The biggest challenge is solving defense of your support minions. We are not spamming as many clones now so potential healing is lower. I deciced to go with Doctrine for Conc Ground which is easy to spread with Blink Arrow. The Dancing Sword Spectre is holding up well despite its rather low hp.
The build handles 6-10k juiced tripple empowered T16 rares without any issues.
Here is my current char: https://poe.ninja/builds/affliction/character/Prevy/Prevy_?i=4&search=skills%3DBlink%2BArrow%2Bof%2BBombarding%2BClones
This is my planned PoB: https://pobb.in/y10hutN03vt1
( I have set the hits to 3x4, so thats why 12 clones. But we don't know the effectiveness yet. Might be 60% like the player version but they also might hit more often. Looks like 5 with Conc Effect. I don't know tbh.)
-----------------------------------------
BAMAs I have planned:
- Adorned Doomfletch. Wanted to do that, but there is way to much flat available everywhere. Once you start removing jewels to fit in some defense it crumbles. There is better stuff out there. Ok if you are ok with a glass cannon.
- Next one I am playing is most likely an elemental non-guardian version. PoB looks very very promising.
- Poison looks very good. Both on Necro with phys bow and even Flask Pathfinder with Covenant and an elder bow. The latter should be able to reach ~20m dps on a regular clone. But very expensive. Probably my last BAMA.
Poison has the benefit of not needing any skill effect duration for Fresh Meat. And the gameplay becomes very very chill. The extra skill points that we save can be used for a second cluster.
- Something something Prismatic Clones. Not sure what to do with the prismatic gems yet.
-----------------------------------------
Reaper:
Unchanged pretty much. Lots of power lost from crucible aswell as enchants which were huge. The new quality is a nothing burger and the alt. quals we lost on support gems etc. cost us alot of qol. Still absolutely fine.
Charms don't add alot of damage, unless you go conc ground effect stacking. But they do add alot of defense via Juggs baby "Unbreakable".
I recommend going with a damage chest this league instead of Vow and with defensive charms:
3.23 PoB: https://pobb.in/1CUXxZBSWBZe
Revenants can be used as replacement for Phantasms in the clear setup. To be able to use your Ultimate with Revenants together you will have to summon them in a very specific way. Summon 3 Revenants and then 1 normal Reaper, summon 2 fresh Revenants again. Now you should be able to use your Ultimate without deleting Revenants.

Exarch was Uber. The test was done on my crucible poison bama with unobtainable gear, especailly the bow. The roa gem was lvl 13-14. I added a low lvl void manipulation for the test as i need to replace return proj with something. My clones were probably missing alot of accuracy tbh. I did not use Profane Bloom jewels for clear. 30% AOE Mastery for clear.
You can have only 3 clones max, across both gems (mirror and blink). This sucks alot! I am actually sad as fuck.
With that said, roa clones are surprisingly good. I don't know how good it will be in the end. Atleast they aren't dogshit. Clear is actually supreme.
I did test ele hit clones a bit on an ele bama. With just 3, they clear like dogshit. Not sure why GGG decided to remove the aoe part of their attack. Singletarget needs a specialized build. Because they need clear help, you probably want to pair them up with roa clones. Building that way and trying to get the most out of both, is going to be hard. Roa and Ele hit need different things to shine (levels vs flat damage). The easiest way to get some kind of mix going would be on a Guardian.
For now, I am still waiting on the base damage numbers.
For impale and poison... there isn't really a good option other than RoA clones. You can add normal clones to the mix, but they will have shorter duration etc.. the gameplay gets very clunky. Normal clones do share the cooldown with their trans versions.
-----------------------------------------------------------
► PoB: https://pobb.in/ZRhTHBDxbxkC
-----------------------------------------------------------
Here is how I achieved dot cap:
I didn't want to pay 300 divs for Awakened Empower, so that was a no-go. I also didn't want to replace Asenath or Anathema to achieve a "fake" dot cap. I tried hitting Eldritch Battery with tattoos and was prepping for a +2 helmet, but I hit Lethe Shade first, so I settled.
Final solution, and probably the cheapest: Buy a corrupted Diadem with "90% Cost and Reservation Multiplier" (30divs), get a lab service for Reaper enchant (7divs), add a small cluster with reservation. Use the free mana to add Flesh and Stone and replace the "weaker" maim support from Skeletons. Then shift some gear back towards "increased dot damage taken when maimed by you" and voila, dot cap.
This version can also run a Mageblood now while still maxing out Anamamu.
Add stuff from the new league like charms as you see fit. Pray for good trans gems.

► About the Build:
First, there is nothing wrong with the Juggernaut version, both versions are great.
Back in 3.20 I tried Champion but didn't like it. So why now?
A few things got added, namely Vow which brings Champion closer to Juggernauts tankiness and the stuff that Juggernaut uses got more expensive (Indomitable Resolve and CI Impossible Escape).
When I was craving some Reaper early in the league I was looking at an entry cost of almost 150 divines before even putting a single gem into my gear. Month later and the situation has gotten even worse: Impossible Escape at ~85 divs, +1 bow base at ~30+ divs, Forbidden Jewels at ~60 div for a pair. I felt it was time to dig out Champion again and tweak the build a bit.
Back in Sanctum I knew Champ was the solution for a "lower budget" approach, but my build and my thought process were not right.
I had to tweak alot and throw out a few fluff auras, but the end result is quite good and in some areas absolutely crushes the jugg version.
► Overview:
I added Vow, which takes away the need to craft a body armour and deal with Eldritch implicits. I dropped the Impossible Escape (~85 divs, yikes) and get my aura effect via Champion and the extra curse with a cheap Anathema ring. The latter also means one less Bone ring to craft. I am using a Replica Dragonfang instead of an Auls. This amulet is absolutely cracked for Reaper and has everything you would want from an ammy. Next step was dealing with a few issues I had on prior Champ versions. Not using taunt in this build feels wrong but using it made me feel squishy in 3.20. Hitting a screen with Asenath and having 100 deli mobs turn on you in Simulacrum was a death sentence. With that much aura effect and some base evasion from champion, it felt wrong not to try out Grace. But I needed to sacrifice something.
Naturally, this meant not beeing able to reserve everything that we ran on Jugger. So i took a good look at what we can drop. I decided to get rid of Aspect and Flesh and Stone. With Flesh and Stone gone, we lose our Maim source and thus the need to run Maim dot mods on belt and jewels = cheaper. I replaced those with defensive mods and different sources of damage.
I also dropped the +1 bow and went with the alternative, a cheap % minion damage bow, which ends up beeing better for our clear. I am running 2 big minion clusters (any combination works here, 2x11, 2x10, 2x12, 8+12, etc.) = better clear. For Forbidden Jewels I am using Worthy Foe, which I paid 2 div for.
I still had one leftover curse from Anathema, so I went with Enfeeble on my Asenath, which synergizes with the Blind and Grace Aura. To further boost this, I decided to get a Grace (Evasion) and Purity Watchers Eye. The end result is over 90% evasion, or over 2 mil ehp againt attacks. This build can now run 100% deli and pull multiple screens. And Reaper gets 80% evasion as a side effect.
Speaking of Reaper, this is the tankiest Reaper I have had so far. This build taunts everything which not only takes the heat off our girl but reduces all the damage she takes. Add the 80% evasion, damage reduction via Enfeeble and this Reaper doesn't give a frick in most content. Prior I needed to run Meat Shield in Simulacrums. With this build I don't. The only thing that can still reliably kill Reaper is Uber Exarch and Maven.
The last big thing I want to talk about is my new mapping tech - Haste. Reapers damage is so high and our aura effect so potent, that at some point I was wondering if I could implement Haste. This is ontop of Minion Speed Support + Summon Phantasms. And oh boi does it improve everything. With the focus on more "direct" damage increases and with Haste this actually turned into an incredible mapper. It can even do fully open maps now, including juiced Breaches, Harbies, Legions and Flawless Breaches without much issues.
For Ubers I am swapping to Malevolence obviously.

This is a quick showcase for my post-Crucible Poison Blink & Mirror Arrow Necromancer Summoner for 3.22 Trial of the Ancestors.

PoB: https://pobb.in/G2azbTbHiu0X
-----------------------------------------
Vaal Haste off. I lowballed clone numbers. Spectre buffs are not accounted for. For single target/clear feel free to swap out/in the Profane Bloom Forbidden jewels.
Clones have 23% chance to have their projectiles return a third time to them with Anomalous Returning Projectiles Support. Currently I am using GMP as a permanent support, which seems to add consistency and faster poison ramp. Maybe I am coping, but I found my TTK on Ubers faster with GMP vs Unbound Ailments. It does kill any visual clarity though.
Returning Projectiles does not affect poison damage, which turns the support into a ~123% more multiplier for Poison Bama.
(poewiki.net/wiki/Returning_Projectiles_Support)
The Ikiaho Loyalty minion gives a massive CDR boost to Travel Skills and counts as a minon. Minion and Skill Effect duration extend its duration. The minion lasts ~30 seconds and drops your bama cd down to ~0.65. In some situations I have been able to ramp up to ~30 clones!
The CD on the Tattoo minon resets in every Sanctum room, which makes what is already an insane Sanctum build even better.

About the build:
Pretty much the strongest poison minion in the game. Unlike other minions, clones actually get to use player gear (bow and quiver) and get access to alot of dot multi as result aswell as synthesis implicits (Faster Poison, Poison Chance etc.). Currently we are limited by pc performance and the dot cap. 12-16m poison dps per single clone is actually possible with a more damage oriented setup.
The current build has great defenses with Grace/Determination/Dread Banner + Spell Supp. This league I also added Vow + Divine Flesh for even more defense.
To sustain the Blessing + clone rotation you will need atleast ~800 ES + the ES recharge mod (either boots or gloves) or 1-2 ES recharge Tattoos.
Ashes needs atleast 15% Reservation Efficiency if you want to save a point in the Sovereignty wheel.
AG setup and Spectres are in the config of the PoB.

2. Contempt Essence spam until you hit atleast T4 % physical. You want it to be equal or better than the Aisling physical mods.
3. Annul if needed. The goal is to have 1 free Suffix and 1 free Prefix. If you hit any of the 2 physical mods, restart.
4. Craft " Prefixes cannot be changed" and Scour down to remove the remaining Suffixes. Only Phys Essence mod and % Phys should remain on the bow.
5. Craft Multi Mod + " Prefixes cannot be changed" + one filler Suffix.
6. Harvst Augment Chaos. Flat chaos has only one tier - T1, and there is only one chaos mod in the Prefix pool. Your Prefixes are done.
7. Remove crafted mods with the Bench.
8. Craft "Prefixes cannot be changed" again and T4 Aisling. Block with any of the "damage per charge"- mods before you unveil. Unveil. Pray for Chaos Dot Multi or Attack Speed. Repeat this step until you have what you want. You can always lock prefixes and scour down and go again.
9. Once you have your veiled mod. Lock Prefixes again and augment Chaos with Harvest. 50/50 to hit the bench mod. There are 2 chaos mods in the pool. Poison Damage/Poison Chance and Chaos Res. Chaos Res has very low weighting so less likely to hit it. If you remove your veiled mod you will still have your "Prefix cannot be changed"-mod. Simply repeat Aisling T4 for another 50/50. You will either get it or fall back to another 50/50 state.
10. Finish with benchcraft and add what you are missing.

My Clones have 90% chance to have their projectiles return to them with the Synthesis Implicit on the bow. Also got "Poisons deal damage faster" as Implicit, which is cute. The new bow gives me more hit-damage compared to my Darkscorn.
POB: https://pobb.in/wfxekQmvg2XH
On average ~1 second faster kills on Exarch compared to my previous bow. I am reaching the dot cap faster and harder, but there is still a cap - sadge. I am at a point where I can simply remove Anamamus Gaze and not lose any single target dps on Ubers. I am honestly not sure what to do with this information yet. My build reaches Uber Dot Cap in ~1.5 seconds.
The new bow increased my single target non-Uber hit dps by ~20m. The bow upgrade is much more noticable against regular content. I also don't need Profane Bloom for non - 100% Deli content anymore. Everything is dead before I get the chance to curse anything.
If you can't get a good Darkscorn crucible tree, a decent crafted bow will most likely be the better option.
How to craft the mega bow:
(If you want a cheaper bow, skip the Aisling Suffix and use Aisling to get your % Physical Prefix mod instead. Multimod Attack Speed and Chaos Dot Multi for your Suffixes. Simply roll with a 5-mod bow. Almost no difference if you don't need the poison chance).
1. Get Synthesis base and do your crucible tree.
2. Contempt Essence spam until you hit atleast T4 % physical. You want it to be equal or better than the Aisling physical mods.
3. Annul. The goal is to have 1 free Suffix and 1 free Prefix. If you hit any of the 2 physical mods, restart.
4. Craft " Prefixes cannot be changed" and scour down to remove the remaining Suffixes. Only Phys Essence mod and % Phys should be remaining on the bow.
5. Craft Multi Mod + " Prefixes cannot be changed" + one filler Suffix.
6. Harvst Augment Chaos. Flat chaos has only one tier, T1, and there is only one chaos mod in the Prefix pool. 100%!
9. You have your veiled mod. Lock Prefixes again and augment Chaos with Harvest. 50/50 to hit the bench mod. There are 2 chaos mods in the pool. Poison Damage and Chaos Res. Chaos Res has very low weighting so fairly unlikely to hit. If you remove your veiled mod you will still have your "Prefix cannot be changed"-mod. Simply repeat Aisling T4 for another 50/50. You will either get it or fall back to another 50/50 state.

Storytime:
I started experimenting more seriously with poison last league during the SRS hype. You might remember my Occultist poison SRS build. That one was initially a poison Bama build. While my first takes on a poison BAMA were fairly successful, I felt it wasn't "worth" it over regular versions. The Covenant was very hard to build around. The build was very spread out on the tree and I tried to innovate way too much. I also went with a flat chaos elder dot multi bow instead of a physical bow and I was under the impression that I would need Blasphemy to make Profane Bloom feel good. And because I wasn't using a physical bow I felt Necros Unholy Might wasn't benefitting me, so I went with Occultist.
I scrapped most of my old ideas in Crucible. The Impale Bama I played this league open my eyes to running 5-link clone setups and Anomalous Faster Projectiles.
I also really wanted to find a place for Unnatural Strength, so I decided to try a physical bow on a Necro and see how far I can push it. Turns out, quite far actually.
You might ask why Darkscorn if a crafted bow is potentially better in the PoB I provided? My first take was to use Vow as my body for defense and make use of the 25% phys taken as chaos + Divine Flesh but I encountered a few problems.
Spell Supp was very hard to cap, suffix pressure was quite rough and minion poison chance became an issue aswell. I absolutely refused to use Poison Chance Support.
The market situation for good poison/physical jewels wasn't looking to hot either in terms of allowing multiple players to attempt this build, so I decided to run a Grasping Mail, which made capping poison chance trivial.
In hindsight, now that I actually had time to think about rare bows and how they could look like, I don't think poison chance capping is as bad anymore as I initially felt. Just know, that if you need/want more defense, you can make Vow or a Mageblood work.
Because I already made 2 absurdly overkill tanky builds this league, I stuck with the Grasping Mail idea and because I found a good Darscorn with decent tree, I stuck with that aswell.
The build has normal defenses with Grace/Determ/Defiance + capped Spell Supp and Chaos Res + ok regen. Considering the damage, this is more than enough defense for Softcore. The only Uber that gets to play the game is Uber Uber Elder. Here I would advice to simply prioritize safety over maintaining max clone numbers. You don't need much dps for that fight.
To sustain the Blessing + Clone rotation you will need atleast ~600 ES + the ES recharge mod (either boots or gloves). To make the Blessing cheaper we use Power of Purpose. If you use Vow, the body armour will come with enough ES to still allow the use of a Blessing even if you have Divine Flesh. The recharge mod remains mandatory.
Ashes needs 15% Reservation Efficiency if you want to save a point in the Sovereignty wheel.
AG setup and Spectres are in the config of the PoB.

Edit: A rare crafted Bow can compete and even be better, especially if you get a nice Crucible tree.
Like this: https://pobb.in/p7jwKjjOs-Ka
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am so far beyond the Uber dot cap that I am actually using Vicious Projectiles instead of Unbound Ailments for more upfront damage and stronger but shorter poison stacks (I used Vicious Proj in the video). I am reaching dot cap in 2.5-3 seconds. (For clear replace Vicious Proj/Unbound with GMP)
Once again, this is a 5-link clone setup, rather than the typical double 6-link Bama setup we used in the past.
I also absolutely did not want to build around The Covenant. Its just a pain defensively, Spell Supp becomes annoying to cap and and and.... and it turns out, I don't even need more damage.
For clear I am replacing Void Beacon Forbidden Jewels with Profane Bloom Forbidden Jewels.
If you are already playing or gearing up an Impale Bama Champ and wish to swap or try this out later, good news, I am re-using 80% of the gear from the Impale build.
For Crucible you want 30% attack speed on the Darkscorn for gameplay reasons, rest is bonus. Can't be that picky with uniques. I found my beautiful Darkscorn as is on trade for 15 divs and my quiver for 3 divs. I only exalt-slammed the flat phys. (You want atleast one Pierce on the quiver, either Prefix or Implicit)
Poison chance on the quiver seems to be a common byproduct when crafting dot quivers. With 15-20% chance from quiver and 60% poison chance from the Grasping Mail you will only need one poison chance Ghastly in your Darkness Enthroned to cap.
This build will very likely survive the Crucible removal. Unlike the Impale Bama, this one gets only 20-24% more damage from the Crucible tree compared to a regular double corrupted Darkscorn. I also have room to add more damage or an entire second Cluster aswell as differnt supports, like Unbound Ailments.

Something funky this time. A non-poison and non-crit SRS Pathfinder using the new Master Surgeon + Mahuxotl shield + Vow + Tempered by War for mad defensive gains.
PoB: https://pobb.in/kN0TfgClq4eC
(Punishment Curse not active, I added the average in the config. AG gear is in the config)
-----------------------------------------
How it works:
Mahuxotl's Machination shield grants Divine Flesh, which is pretty amazing with the newly added Vow. When combined with Tempered by War from a Lethal Pride jewel, no lightning or cold damage is taken. Half of the damage is taken as fire and the other as chaos.
However the shield comes with alot of downsides, like Life Regeneration having no effect, not beeing able to recharge or regenerate Energy Shield etc..
Flask recovery however still works. If we combine the new Mastersurgeon Notable and a Replica Sorrow of the Divine Flask we can solve all the problems and reap all the benefits. Scaling flask duration, flask effect and life recovery we can get our Life Flask to recover ~15k life over 7 seconds. That means a permanent life "regeneration" of ~2.1k.
Replica Sorrow of the Divine gives us Eldritch Battery, which we need for Blessing and SRS spam, but more importantely also applies our Life Flask Recovery to our Energy Shield.
The next huge thing on the Mahuxotl shield is the special Keystone Everlasting Sacrifice. When you reach full Energy Shield, all Energy Shield is lost to gain +5% to all Maximum Resistances for 4 seconds. Because of our massive Energy Shield Recovery we can achieve 100% uptime on the buff. The only downside is that you have to "time" your Blessing before the sacrifice happens, or in other words before you reach full Energy Shield.
Because of the +5% maximum Resistances from Everlasting Sacrifice it doesn't take much to reach high values in both Fire and Chaos res. With Purity of Fire, boot implicit and Born of Chaos cluster we can reach atleast 89% max Fire res and 88% max Chaos res. I also found a +1% max res Vow, which brings my build to 90%/89%.
Add Spell Suppression and Phys taken as Fire via Lethal Pride and the helmet and 100% flask uptime and you have a very very tanky build. This build has also full uptime on Progenesis, which I did not showcase in the video because I am poor atm. But as you can see, its not exactly needed.

Storytime:
So after my initial disappointment with the tier 5 Bama node and after my hopes got crushed and I did no get a non Triad-way to fully convert my clones to cold via crucible, I rage-played Reaper again. Though, I still felt there was huge potential and many cool Crucible nodes on bows for my clone friends, so I knew I had to make atleast one Bama build this league.
By accident and simply because I was curious I simply plugged my clones into a Dom Blow Crit Impale PoB which I prepped before the league to see whats possible and to my surprise achieved pretty good dps numbers per clone. After alot of finetuning I think I have finally unlocked the potential of the pure Phys Impale Bama. We have a new Bama archetype to play now, and not just because of Crucible. Even if you take away all the Crucible nodes from the Bow, Impale Phys will still outperform the elemental BAMAs from previous leagues while beeing on a 5 link (according to PoB).
Now, for Phys Impale a few changes needed to happen. First, Scion isn't that hot for phys minions. Champion on the other hand has everything that we need. Aura Effect for Impale scaling and defense, Fortify to beef up and some smaller goodies like attack speed and Master of Metal, which while not huge, is still extra damage. Pair that with the good pathing and extra Dexterity on the way and you have a new Bama build.
Now lets talk about the 5-link. Normally Bamas would use a double 6-link. Phys Impale, as it turns out, has so much damage that you can easily run it as a 5-link with both clones in the bow. This opens up sockets for support minions like Carrion Golem or Spectres, extra Auras like Precision and more. We can use a Bone Ring instead of the Hungry Loop, which helps with the suffix pressure and drop the Hungry Looü. And the old way with double 6-link is still possible if you like that better.
The 5 link setup has alot of benefits. The clones are cheaper (60 mana vs 80). You can support both clones at the same time with GMP which increases clear without having to micro manage and gem swap two setups. This is especially important now, because Anomalous Faster Projectiles is absolutely cracked on BAMA. Corrupted for extra quality, it will give the clones a 69% (nice) chance to have their projectiles return to them, which is not only ~69% more damage on average but increases the quality of the clear drastically. And I don't think I have to tell you how amazing extra proj speed feels on BAMA.
For defenses I am running Determ/Grace/Dread Banner + Divine Flesh + capped Spell Supp + Champion Fortify + 2 Endu Charges. This is probably the tankiest Bama I have played in a long time. Grace + the screenwide Accuracy reduction from Dread Banner gives me ~1.2m ehp against attacks. Coupled with Divine Flesh + Fortify and you can take some serious beatings. Fitting in some regeneration was tough, but I think I managed.
I also made sure that Precision, Dread Banner and Pride cover almost the entire screen for mindless gameplay. You can check the radius in the calc section.
My minion Impale chance sits at 98% thanks to Generosity, Arrogance, Glorious Vanity and Champions Aura Effect and the 15% Impale chance I got from Crucible. If you don't have the Impale node on the bow, its not the end of the world. If you can't manage to get it, consider Dread Banner enchant instead of Carrion Golem and Demon Harpy Spectres instead of Carrion Golem.
You need atleast ~850 energy shield + recharge mod (gloves or boots) to sustain the rotation.
The optimal Bow Crucible tree has:
Node 1: Impale Chance + flat Physical
Node 2: 30% Attack Speed / 15% less Global Damage
Node 3 and 4:
-1 to all max Charges/ +2 to minimum Frenzy, Endurance and Power Charges
(yes the Clones get the minimum Charges)
16% chance to deal double Damage when Strength is below 100
(Minions have baseline 0 in all Attributes)

This is an endgame showcase for my Summon Reaper Juggernaut for 3.21.
New additions are Divine Flesh + the new armor/es mastery for more tank, especially against penetration. Unlike previous version, this one does not use a Diadem, but instead runs a +2 minion helmet for more damage.
This is an advanced Reaper build. There is nothing wrong with the Diadem version from previous leagues. This is more of a guideline for players that want to invest more into their Queen.

Important stuff for the build:
To actually be able to use Blessing without EB, you will need to reduce the mana cost drastically. This happens with various alt. qual gems, skill tree, and the "mana cost as life" mastery.
To actually sustain Reaper and the somewhat spammy playstyle you will need flat mana regen, % mana regen and cost reductions. For me, ~40 mana regen + one "-7 mana cost" elreon ring craft works with about ~95 free unreserved mana.. You can skip fluff stats like "minion attck speed" one one of your rings and go for mana regen.
The helmet is best done on a fractured base + tft enchant service. If you have issues with mana reservation, there are still 2 mana reservation nodes on the tree available for pickup.
Crucible:
You want Pride effect. If you have an Aul, this is basically free damage. Dex nodes can help if you can meat your requirements.
If you are a degenerate you can crucible Null's Inclincation bows, brick them ro rare with a Vaal Orb (1/5) and then merge them onto your Reaper bow. This is how I got my minion stats on my bow.

The next level for Reaper unlocked. Thicker, faster and better. 25-30% more damage than last league.
Just finished my helmet yesterday, so here is a first look at an Uber (lol) with the new build. Turns out I don't need Flasks or Moltenshell for Uber Sirus.
This build is back to beeing mana-based and I am now making use of Divine Flesh + the new "Armour applies to Chaos Damage taken from Hits". The latter fixes the weakness against penetration and the transition to mana allows us to drop Diadem for a +2 Helmet and a stronger armour chest.
There are a few kinks to iron out. I still need the mana regen enchant on the boots to truly fix my regen issues, need to fix some jewels, maybe a better Watchers Eye and I need to finish leveling for my last life points.

Rushed Mirror arrow node as fast as possible so I can show it to you.
I had the feeling it would have an internal CD and yeah it has one and its pretty long. Base 2 seconds CD on the trigger. Yikes.
I also tested the clone mastery and a blink arrow enchant and both work on the trigger, reducing its cooldown. But the dream of having 5-6 charges on Phantasmal Mirror Arrow and simply holding the button down and also saving 6 sockets is pretty much dead.
Its even unusable if you stack CDR and it can't be used together with the actual Blink Arrow skill gem for more clones because they share the same cooldown group and the trigger would simply eat your Phantasmal Blink Arrow charges.
If you are wondering how low you can get the CD on the trigger, the formula is:
SkillFinalCooldown = SkillBaseCooldown / (100% +% CooldownRecoveryRate)
A typical bama has 100% from the mastery, 40-50% from a Haste Watchers Eye, ~30% from boots and the lvl20 skill has 47%.
2 second base / 3.27 = 0.61 sec cd
Even if you add 30% from helm enchant and 60% with the crucible tree you can only get the trigger down to ~0.47 sec cd. I guess stutter stepping and firing a mirror arrow every 0.5-0.6 second its kinda okish, but using this special node absolutely guts your single target pre stacking and your clone ramp
The only positive thing about this is that the bama crucible trees will be way way easier to build now.
-----------------------------------------
Well, here it is - a tri-ele Absolution Inquisitor Summoner. Yep, Inquisitor.
I had this "thing" in my PoB folder and a bit of currency and gear left from my SRS so I came back for one more experimental build to see if it would work.
First, don't play Absolution! My god, this is easily one of the worst minion skills for endgame bossing. Truly atrocious. Absolution has nothing on Reaper in terms of bossing. If I were to put SRS Occultist in S -Tier, Absolution would easily be F-Tier or lower. F this trash. Sitting there vulnerable, locked in your Spell Echo animation, getting blasted by Ubers and hoping to procc Absolution is a truly cursed experience. And then you lose all your minions during phases only to do the same shit again. Just yikes gameplay.
Anyway, lets talk about the build because while Absolution is very unpleasant to play, the build concept itself is quite potent.
Inquisitor does provide about the same damage as Guardian for elemental minions. Guardian has only one very good notable - Radiant Crusade, which we can pick up for super cheap via Forbidden Jewels, because nobody is mad enough to play an Inquisitor Summoner. Guardian on the other hand doesn't have good options for Forbidden Jewels. The drawback to Inquisitor is Providence. Its kinda wasted. Here it works out, because I needed alot of strength and it saves me a suffix atleast. But the rest is fantastic.
The conc ground regen is great sustain for you and your minions and Pious Path enables MoM/EB and combos very well with Grave Intentions. This turns the ES of the minions into actual extra life rather than just a one time buffer kinda thing. Also the es regen via Pious Path isn't just crucial for MoM. Without it this build would not be able to sustain the EB Blessing and Absolution spam.
For defense I am running Determ/Grace/Defiance + 100% Spell Supp and the already mentioned MoM/EB, Lethe Shade on my Relic, Endurance Charges from Composure and obviously the high sustain that comes with Inquistor aswell as 80% curse effect reduction through conc ground + belt enchant. Finally Stormshroud for easy ele ailment avoidance and Garb on AG for crit and slow immunity.
For minion defense I decided to invest in max res. All my minions have 90% max res (8% from mastery and 7% from shield) + Grave Intentions + high life and es regen. Other than Baranite Cleric (squishy boi), minions don't die in this build. In fact AG is so sturdy, that I was able to drop Doppelgaenger for Garb.
For damage - Absolution, because I never played it past white maps and wanted the experience. I hate Doryani and also wanted to be able to cap Spell Supp, so I went with Tri-Ele with Hatred and Added Fire. Ele Weakness, Crown and Legacy for resistance shred. Same stuff as my elemental Bama.
This build could not fit in Generosity. Which is good and bad at the same time. The player damage is actually decently high as a result and you can oneshot white and magic packs without minions with a single cast. That makes the start of every map super smooth.
The DPS in PoB is slightly lower than what I experienced ingame. PoB says ~30m, actual dps is probably ~40-50m.
I don't have much experience with Absolution, so take everything whith a grain of salt.
I know Ghazzy was throwing out numbers - like 3-5x more on medium budget and 9-10x more with mirror tier gear. I don't think that checks out, atleast not for my build.
Absolution minions obviously have more going on than PoB shows. They have their second Absolution spell trigger which PoB does not calculate. But rather than high sustained dps I would simply say they have high burst. If they procc their double cast and all high rolls and they crit and get a double damage procc, then yeah, the damage feels nutty and it indeed feels like you just blasted the boss with ~150m. Ive seen bosses vanish in a few frames. But I could not replicate it consistently, which is why I am calling it lucky burst.
Also Absolution minions are dumb as fuck. Probably the worst AI I have witnessed in PoE. They just don't care about Predator or anything and just randomly stop casting, sometimes for 1-2 seconds. Horrible minion. There is almost nothing redeeming about Absolution. This skill sits at a 0,0% playrate on ninja and I think its justified.
Overall, a pleasantly tanky build, that is never in any danger during mapping. I like the build concept alot, just not with Absolution. Again, if you are serious about Ubers, find a different elemental minion. With a few changes you can run Slave Drivers in this or any other ele Spectre or elemental SRS or Skelly Mages.
If you don't care about Ubers, then Absolution is perfectly fine and 100% overkill with this build.

----------------------------------
Storytime:
As I said before, I had some issues with the current popular Poison SRS Necro variants. Without shitting on any build specifically, lets just say I was looking for something that performed a bit "better". This is highly subjective, but I have a very clear version how my build needs to feel.
I didn't actually plan to play poison SRS. This build started out initially as a poison Bama experiment, which worked ok, but after a few PoB sessions I felt my concept would also suit a Poison SRS very well.
My goal with this version was to improve the clear, defense against Ubers and to dodge some of the currently popular items (Aul, Ashes) while dipping my toes into some curse stuff due to the recent changes.
I landed on Occultist for curse things and Profane Bloom for clear. Necro is incredibly mid these days for anything summoner and block is an overrated defensive layer.
For my amulet I chose a double curse Impresence, removing the aura reservation of both Despair and Enfeeble. I already used this kind of amulet for an Arakaali build and had some good experience with it. Currently, as I am typing this, the cheapest amulet is listed at 5 divs which is basically free for an item this useful.
The third curse shouldn't suprise anyone, its Temporal Chains. But unlike the Necro versions we are selfcasting it instead of having AG apply it via Asenath. That gives us the oppertunity to scale our Temp Chains and turn it into a big F-you skill against bosses. A boosted Temp Chains means that we don't need Unbound Ailments as a Support, which is basically a dead link during clear anyway. This build also picks up damage very efficiently and we can match the dps of most of the other high end Necro variants despite not running Malevolence (or Kingmaker).
While recording I was a bit sad I couldn't make use of Blasphemy Enfeeble against stuff that I actually wanted to tank, like Sirus Meteor. Thats when I remembered some twitch stream background noice of HC gauntlet folk talking about how Enfeeble on Sirus "helps" and I was like... how? Then it clicked, and I was like "you stupid fkin moron idiot sandwich". Self cast! Obviously! Duh.
I recorded most of my fights using Blasphemy, so I didn't want to redo everything, but I did go back to Eater/Exarch and did some damage taken tests for you with a self cast Enfeeble setup. So what does that actually mean? Let me explain. You still want the Enfeeble Blasphemy Aura during clear. But against Ubers you can actually take Enfeeble off of Blasphemy and simply selfcast it. This is easily done by swapping Enfeeble and your Flame Dash/ Frostblink. This has multiple benefits, like increased effect on Enfeeble aswell as no range concerns and it persists during most boss moves like Exarch suns and Sirus Maze if applied before. With the boosted Temp Chains a 21/20 Enfeeble lasts ~90 seconds.
For more defense I am are running the classic Determination, Grace, Defiance Banner and Spell Supp combo. Grace is especially great with Enfeeble, as the curse also reduces accuracy. Coupled with blind from the minions and a Grace Watchers Eye I can achieve ~92% Evasion.
As a final touch I added Divine Flesh to help against Uber elemental penetration.
This build can tank for example Sirus Maze with and without Enfeeble, Uber Sirus beam, Uber Eater Hunger and can facetank Uber Maven's Cascade. All with proper Molten Shells obviously. It can survive a boosted Exarch ball without any cooldowns and has enough defense to blast through Sim 30s and 100% Delirium content.
Lastly, a few words about AG. This build uses my AG Hungry Loop setup that I have been running on multiple builds now. AG needs 40% all res on the rare boots to cap res! For gloves I am using Ceaseless Feast for Corruption stacks, which means I don't need accuracy for my minions.
3 stacks are enough to strip enough evasion for SRS to hit 100% chance to hit on all bosses. Dying Breath, Doppelgaenger and Crown of the Tyrant for the remaining slots.

#poe #pathofexile #summoner #srs
I didn't like any Poison SRS version that I have seen, so I made my own. This is not a Necro - no Bone Offering Brand and MoM nonsense and it actually clears very fast. The build should have better performance against Ubers, better clear, including 100% deli and better defense and qol.
I'll finish recording over the next days and clean up the PoBs for you guys.

Storytime:
Basically I shifted BAMA to crit using the new Spirit Offering. I changed from Wrath to Anger to save points from Avatar of Fire. I used Elementalist + Necro to gain the Spirit Offering myself for crit and apply a 15% shock via Storm Brand. I included the new Grand Spectrums. And ditched the explodey bow due to stupidely high cost and harvest nerfs for a fractured Bow and toyed around with different bases for higher base crit. That build had some qol issues.
EE was a problem, and hitting a boss with your clone would temporarily mess up EE due to the flat damage on the bow. The shock from strombrand, even at 30% crit chance was not as consistant as I wanted it to be. Using an 1.4 aps bow and swapping to Spirit Offering felt a bit meh animation speed wise.
So 3.20 happened. And I scratched alot of it and reduced the crit investment a bit.
Still Scion, but instead of Necro and/or Elementalist we now pick up Occultist. This has multiple benefits and reasons. First, the curse changes allow us the shred ele res on bosses via curses. I came to the conclusion that I can get Elemental Weakness to -44% elemental res shred, compared to -45 using EE + Elementalist Forbidden jewels. Thats way more efficient. I dropped EE and the Forbidden Jewels. I decided to drop Necro Ascendant because getting ~5% damage increase per jewel socket is honestly bad value. Since we are still running Spirit Offering, there isn' much to gain from the self offering. I am running Occultist + Deadyeye now. That gives me easy access to +1 curse and stun immunity and the curse effect further boosts our Mark. Since we use mostly curses now, Dying Breath on AG is actually more damage than Kingmaker (ignoring Culling strike).
That move freed up a bunch of points, 2 jewel sockets and we a have a bunch of new gearing choices. For one we don't care about EE anymore and with that gone, we can now use any element, be it on the bow, the abyss jewels or the quiver and we can freely swap between Wrath and Anger.
This also means, we can now shop bows from the elemental bow boys and we don't necessarily need to craft something specific. Hell you can even craft an amazing bow with Rog now. Any high elemental dps bow goes now. (I bought mine for 33 divs in Sanctum, compared to crafting it last league for ~50 divs)
With the the free Jewel Sockets, I decided its time to fit in Ailment Immunity again. The best but sadly most expensive way is using the new Doctrine Jewel which gives us Conc Ground when stationary and makes the effect linger.
This build already used a Militant Faith + Unnatural Instinct combo to push high Devotion. And one of the possible mods from Militant Faith grants full Elemental Ailment Immunity when on Consecrated ground. With a jewel corrupt and a belt enchant you can also now reach 100% reduced Curse effect on you.
Rational Doctrine is only worth it if you have the proper Militant Faith Jewel to gain full Elemental Ailment Immunity. Until you find the right Seed, don't bother with Doctrine.
Here is my Jewel Finder PoB: https://pobb.in/L8TZ1igReNG3
Check the notes section in the PoB. It includes all the Seeds that transform the Shaper notable into Ailment Immunity on Consecrated Ground. It includes a link to the tool to generate a trade search aswell as screenshots and additional info to save you time.
If you can't find the right seed, use Stormshroud instead of Doctrine. The build gained a flex-abyss jewel and you can fit in 100% reduced shock effect now and reach ailment immunity that way.
You need atleast 700es + ES recharge mod on the boots to sustain this build. The boot mod gives more ES recharge per second than increasing max ES. Your rares should be ES/Evasion hybrids. Alternatively you can use 2 ES mods on your body armour, but I am greedy and want the Gravicious mod.
AG gear: Crown of the Tyrant. Doppelgänger for Ubers, if thats not your goal use Garb. Legacy of the Fury Boots. Dying Breath. Rare Delve Gloves with CB immunity. You will need extra 10% allres to cap him despite Ele Army! (CB + 1 res + 1 double res benchcraft)
For early gearing stages use Phantasms for clear + Anger.

This is an endgame showcase for my Summon Reaper Juggernaut for 3.20. Not much changed in Sanctum but I wanted to confirm a few things, refine the build and test the new Flasks that got added in Sanctum. Still a comfy build for Ubers and Reaper is incredible in Sanctum itself.

About the Build:
I tried the new Flasks. Progenesis is incredible. Oriath's End can be used, but is not needed. Both Asenath and bleed kills count as player kills and can trigger the Flask. I dropped one myself from Uber Sirus and gave it a spin in Simu. Its alright. Found no big difference during map clear that would justify using it over another flask. Sold it later.
Build reached level 100, 38/40, 7/7 Ubers down.

Tips:
- I dont recommend leaguestarting Reaper on a Jugg. This is a second build.
- Before you start you will need Diadem + Maloney + Asenath and in my opinion a half decent bow craft. The bow + Empower is basically ~60-80% of Reapers HP and damage. You can start without Aul.
- If you cant find a cheap +1 bow base, just use one with % minion damage. If you cant find a cheap minion damage base, just use a Reflex Bow with MS or a Porcupine Shortbow.
- You can choose between Determination, Pride, Malevolence Aul.
- You don't clear with Ultimate. Run, auto Convocate and Reaper + Phantasms do the trick. Curse with Vuln + Maloney, and the packs will explode nicely with Asenath.
- Uber Maven is the only hard Uber for this build. Don't touch the beams or it will disable your Life Regen and your ES recharge. You won't be able to cast skills if that happens.
- For Simulacrum and Uber Uber Elder I am using Anomalous Meatshield instead of Swift Affliction. I don't use Phantasms in Simu past wave 20.
- Reaper can die very easily when you run away to far with your Purity of Elements. Either stay close or cap Reaper res with Bone Rings.
- When Reaper dies, don't panic. It will happen against some Ubers. The build has enough defense to take any beating. Find a good spot/time to resummon and continue with your normal gameplay. All you care about is getting a bleed on the target. Even just the base attack bleeds from Reaper are 8-10m dps.
- Use the PoB Timeless Jewel Finder to find good Brutal Restraints.

This is a showcase for my new and updated Summon Reaper build for 3.19. This build is based on my 3.18 version but had to undergo cosmetic surgery. Instead of a cute Witch we are now a hunky unsightly brute, a Juggernaut!
We have more damage than before, more defense, more speed and Reaper isn't dying as much.
This is a Buff!

-------------------------------------------------------------
About the Build:
So things happened with minions this league..duh. But adapting is my strong suit.
Stuff that I had to consider coming from my 3.18 Reaper:
- Necro is shit now for physical minions
- Spell Supression is hard as F to cap now for left-side builds
- Lifetap Malevolence isn't a thing anymore
- how to free up sockets to run Bone Rings
- +2 global minion gems on helmets has an insulting weighting
- Harvest nerfs
Initially I wanted to go Champion but after a week in PoB and many many many versions I settled on Juggernaut:
TDLR:
- We have pretty much the same tree as in 3.18.
- Marauders Indomitable Resolve from Forbidden Jewels can be used without downside on minion builds and together with Unbreakable sorta replace Spell Suppresion.
- We gained Endurance Charges and fat Armour further doubling down on my high defense approach from last lague.
- We still have very high life regen (2.6k+) and together with Indomitable Resolve are basically invincible against ground-degen effects.
- Mana aswell as lifetap nerfs are solved with Diadem's EB. F*** getting a +2 fractured Minion helmet with Reaper enchant. Besides, Blessing + Malevolence is irreplaceable damage. Diadem also frees up mana for reservation and skill points that we don't have to invest in mana sustain anymore. However, we need a hybrid Armour/ES base for our chest to have enough ES + recharge.
- Since we don't need quiver corrupt anymore to cap Spell Suppression and we have plenty of defense, we can now ditch Rearguard and go Replica Maloney. This fully automates the Ensnaring Arrow now and replaces Ballista Totem from prior versions. Also less buttons.. yay!
The extra sockets we gained free up our unset Rings for Bone Rings, which we fully fill up with minion mods.
- Stupid amounts of slows, especially if you upgrade to my min/maxed PoB.
- Bleed is now fully capped with 2 bleed Ghastly Jewels in a Darkness Enthroned Belt for maximum consistency, regardless of Pride Aura range.
- Predator support is no more. We have better supports and we can easily do with a few buttons less. Reaper works perfectly fine without.
- Clear is still enhanced with Divergent Minion Speed + Phantasms, even though we have plenty of movementspeed and attack speed from our Rings, it still feels nicer that way.
- Crafting Recipe for the Bow: pastebin.com/dPbDATDF
-----------------------------------
Tips:
- You don't clear with Ultimate basically ever. Run, auto Convocate and Reaper + Phantasms do the trick. Curse with Vuln + Maloney, and the packs will explode nicely with Asenath, which also proliferates the curses in a comfy way.
- Uber Maven is the only hard Uber for this build. Don't touch the beams or it will disable your Life Regen and your ES recharge. You won't be able to cast skills if that happens.
- For Simulcarum I am using Anomalous Meatshield instead of Minion Speed. That gives Reaper enough defence to reliably leech and heal itself. On that note, Leech comes from Anomalous Vitality in this build.
- Reaper can die very easily when you run away to far with your Purity of Elements (see the Feared fight). Outside of Uber Fights/Invitations, Reaper does not die in this build during mapping, basically ever.
- When Reaper dies, don't panic. The build has enough defense to take any beating. Find a good spot/time to resummon and continue with your normal gameplay.
- Use the PoB Timeless Jewel Finder to find good Brutal Restraints.

Yooooooooo, Exiles!
Got one more build for you. I decided to revisit/rework my Reaper Build. I accidentally ended up doing some Uber Content with it and felt like sharing. I also included lengthy and unedited mapping.
I challenged myself to keep it as cheap and medium budget as possible. No Ashes, Enlightens, Synth Bows, Magebloods or any other overly expensive requirements (even tough they all collect dust in my stash). I don't think its even worth it to go that far and Reaper should best be played on a 20-40ex budget max. Thats the budget range where it remains somewhat competitive. Before spending "mirrors" on Reaper of all things, better touch some grass.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PoB: pastebin.com/FUrfLG35
Budget: ~20-40ex (depends on how far into the league)
PoB w/ Ashes: pastebin.com/z80fvred
(not worth it tbh)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
About the Build:
The clear and gear requirements are now more streamlined and easier to follow. It is still Asenath but before you had to get a decent amount of minion movement speed/attack speed via rings and jewels which caused alot of people headaches that followed my previous build. Now all the necessary minion movement speed is gained via Anomalous Convocation and my new tech - Divergent Minion Speed. Yes one more support to spice up Reaper clear. After some testing this is what I landed on and Reaper feels strangely responsive now. Besides speed we also get 20% minion CDR from the support which lowers most of Reapers own skill cooldowns to more acceptable levels, further boosting the clear.
Clear is still not the greatest thing ever, but I have seen way worse on the minion side of things. In indoor maps its quite satisfying to cleave entire hallways tbh. You should adjust your atlas and favoured maps accordingly and avoid very open maps. Reaper clear is quite enjoyable in Crimson Temple.
100% Bleed is achieved via Anomalous Pride + Enhance + Aura Effect. A Pride Aul is needed, but luckily those are super cheap ever since Ashes and Omni became the meta, going as low as ~4ex 10 days into the league and then dropping down to ~1ex.
Malevolence is used via Lifetap and consumes ~2k hp.
To support the clear, the bossing aswell as a Lifetap Aura this build had to become quite beefy. We have:
- 40k armour + Vaal Molten Shell (with 18% phys DR)
- 79% All Res purely from our tree
- full Ailment Immunity
- easy gearing with Commander + Purity of Elements
- postive Chaos Res
- some Block from Rearguard
- plenty of slows
- Sapped Ground
- 100% Spell Suppression or close to 100%
- 7k+ Life Pool
- comfy 2.5-3k Life regenerated per second
Naturally my dps is lower than in the past (also because cheaper...duh) but still has comfortable 10-12m dps which, combined with the defenses, turn regular bosses (Sirus, Maven, Shaper etc.) into a semi-afk-snoozefest while still beeing enough for Ubers.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to improve further without going overboard:
If you want to go slightly further you could craft a slightly better bow that will give Reaper 50% more life, fixing some of the current issues that I have with Reaper survivability, primarily during Uber fights. That bow is a middle ground between my expensive ~80ex bow in 3.15 and the pepega starter porcupine bow. Crafting is almost entirely deterministic and should cost no more than 15ex to finish. Bow is in the PoB as an option.
Crafting Recipe: pastebin.com/k2KkVGBf
Get Onslaught on Kill - either via boots or Timeless Jewel.
Fractured +1 Delve Curse Chest to free up the Annoint for whatever you want, Golems Blood maybe?
Regardless what you do, I dont think Ashes is worth it. Just not cost efficient currently and forces you either into Victarios or Enlighten 4. I still added an Ashes PoB. Up to you.

► Yo, back to giving BAMA the proper attention!
Quick and dirty notes:
- Necro over Scion because Forbidden Jewels give Necro access to Mastermind of Discord and more duration. Other than that they are very close. Necro has more room for swaps and gets Plaguebringer as an extra and has easier time capping AG resists allowing you to run Empower in the Hungry Loop over Elemental Army for more AG ehp.
- Holy Trinity for Def = Grace + Determination + Defiance Banner aswell as 100% Spell Supp. I also added an Impossible Escape Jewel to reach Soul of Steel and Prismatic Skin for 78% res. Chaos res capped (kinda, 72%). 10k Moltenshells and Vaal Molten Shell lasts 28 seconds.
- Wrath on Divine Blessing so you can fit in all other Auras (28 sec duration, doesn't hurt gameplay). To reduce the Mana (ES) cost of Divine Blessing I am running Avarius Timeless Jewel to convert my Mana behind Eldritch Battery into Armour.
- To cope with the low CD on the Clones and Ashes + Divine Blessing you will need atleast 1000 Energy Shield to have enough recharge to semi sustain your rotation. That means "Life as ES"- mod on the body armour is mandatory.
- Ashes is not 100% required, but nice to have. Check earlier snapshots on poe ninja to see my gear progression prior to getting Ashes. Besides extra damage and QoL you can reserve an Aspect. If you don't have Ashes you can experiment with Perquils Toe, an Aul or a rare Amulet (you can also skip the Aspect). Be vary of the lower hp on your AG if you don't have Ashes!
- To fully reserve everything you will need a 19% Reservation Efficiency roll on your Ashes and you will need a 2% Reservation Corrupt on a Jewel. I chose to have it on my Fortress Covenant Jewel.
- If you a struggling with dex use a Fluid Motion Jewel either next to Agnostic or beneath Gravepact.
- AG has only 70% res despite Commander of Darkness. You will need to add tripple Res to his rare gloves to cap! I have Fire + Cold and a hybrid Chaos/Lightning benchmod on mine and eldrich modifier with +1% max cold res. Empower in the Hungry Loop is higher ehp for AG than Elemental Army, if you can cap his Res through other means.
- Budget: Yes!
I have no clue. I farmed my own Ashes, Helm Enchant, Diadem etc.. I got good deals because I was early and I am playing off-meta and I got lucky with Recombinators and recrafting my bow (~12ex). Estimate would be 150-250ex for the current version, ~20ex to start and be able to do regular bosses and 160%+ quant Eaters.
Day6 is the earliest snapshot of my gear/char (without Ashes):

There are a few minor annoyances. Trina's and Spiritflame Arrows not beeing purchasable. Trina's Lilly and Aeonion Butterflies beeing finite. No option to buy feathers. Harp Bow beeing a missed opportunity. Could have been a pure lightning/holy/magic/sleep shortbow. Tracking beeing annoying.
But adding scaling and affinities to reach a scaling of B or A on bows or innate blood or cold on bows certainly breaks the game. This is just pure power fantasy.
You can compare my modded Malenia/Godfrey kills in this video to my actual kills in my prior videos to see how utterly ridiculous its gets when bows get an A scaling. And those are some of the more mobile bosses in the game. Don't get me even started how Radahn, Fire Giant or Renalla get brutalized. Scaling should cap out at C.
If you are interested in the mod you can get it on Nexus. Despite me trashing it a bit, there are a few cool ideas that I like in it, but high bow scaling removes any challenge from the game:

(Even though I dont have the Int required, I can still cast buff incantations at full effect with the Golden Order Seal. I am using it because it has 0 weight. Good synergy with Blue Dancer Charm)

► Someone on Reddit asked me about the Chaos Bama, which I almost forgot I made. In light of the bow and mastery changes coming in 3.17 I figured I'll better throw you a bone and as reference for myself in the future.
This is just a quick showcase with pretty much unedited gameplay which I quickly recorded this morning. I'll just throw it at your face as is. It should give you a general idea how it plays and performs in its current state.
I am not 100% happy with the build yet. There is still something missing, and I can't quite figure out what. And I still havn't decided on the best solution to apply Withering Stacks.
► Lets talk facts:
This is the cheapest possible competitive BAMA build that you can play right now. You can probably assemble the entire build (minus awakened gems) for the cost of just the Hands of the High Templar Gloves from the Ele Scion, which most likely will also be even more expensive next league. The build is mostly uniques with easy access to Chaos and Ele Res with Occultist and Purity of Elements. This is the cheapest and easiest BAMA bow to craft. The Envy Aul is the cheapest of all offensive Aul's. Only 1 six-link is absolutely mandatory. Only 1 gem swap to do. No Quiver swap required. Can phase Sirus A9 without the use of Point Blank Quiver and/or Vaal Haste at my current gear lvl. Just good stuff.
However its MS capped with Replica Stampetes and just feels slower to play and the life total is sadly on the lower side.
Replica Stampetes are great btw! Ever since GGG nerfed support gem values the boots became fairly strong (relative), especially when you consider the 2 sockets that you save. For Chaos Bama they are even BIS in terms of damage because they aren't many good chaos damage supports for projectile based minions without base physical damage/conversion. Also unconditional 80% more damage on our Profane Bloom explosions...is just huge! The explosions are so stupidely massive, that bosses near packs insta die and the build has a fairly easy time doing 100% delirium maps because of this.
► Changes in 3.17:
- Added Chaos support nerfed but more chaos damage through local modfiers on the bow, that hopefully includes Essence mods, because thats what is used to craft the bow.
- Extra 40% increased cooldown recovery rate, just like that. This means Fleetfoot annoint can be skipped for bascially what ever. Max res, max chaos res, aura reservation etc.
- Enlighten can be skipped when you drop Defiance Banner to make the build cheaper, or Blessing on 1 aura in 3.17? Maybe?
- Assasins Mark ring is sadly gone, so either Totem Setup or Defiance Banner will be dropped for either Withering Step or Mark. On the plus side - you don't need to craft a mark on hit ring, so build just got even cheaper and easier to build.
- Phys Bow + 4xW Triad is possible, but more expensive and harder to craft. Unless you lean heavily into phys rolls on jewels and phys as extra chaos with the new quiver base and Unholy Might Mastery, the damage output will be the same. However it would give you the option to run additionally Phantasms to improve coverage for 25+ Simulacrums and also improve Withering Touch as a support in general. Only something for the very rich players.
Carrion is useless btw, no sockets left and you can't possibly keep the golem alive. Just trust me on this. I have accumulated enough frustration for all of us.
Summary: Build gets better in 3.17, dps increases by about ~5-10%, more unconditional CDR which either means lower build cost, better gameplay or higher defense.
The crafting process for the chaos bow:
- buy synth bow with as many damage mods as possible (% increases to relevant damage types, intimidate on hit, local attack speed, flat chaos, chaos pen etc.)
- Envy Essence until t1 attack speed (very annoying step, 4-5c per try atm)
(This step might change in 3.17, as bows will be able to roll up to ~280 flat chaos in 3.17, instead of ~120 top end, so maybe fossils or harvest will be more cost efficient to reach the same stage)
- Annul until only attack speed and the essence mod remain (good luck, very annoying)
- Multimod + Prefix cannot be changed + Suffix cannot be changed
- Veiled Chaos Orb, don't unveil yet
- remove crafted mods
- craft % Phys mod to block Phys veiled options
- now unveil to get 100% chaos pen and remove the crafte Phys mod
- Multimod Minion Damage + Minion Attack Speed
- non-speed to speed Harvest craft to replace the Multimod with Proj Speed
Took me about ~20ex total for the finished bow including 6-linking and the final Harvest craft.
