But yeah just wanted to upload a progress video upon getting it in 2 runs as a bit of a homage to the original video. It's also important to note this version is also much MUCH harder than the original layout and so I'd consider it worth making a new video.
For those concerned about the "Erebus" text at the beginning of the level being removed don't worry, it's now an easter egg that has a 1/200 chance to appear and has an added sound effect for when it happens.
It's also important to note that yeah this is not top 1 nor is it aimed to be top 1 anymore. I have no idea how hard this will end up when verified, we'll have to see when it happens.
The predrop is like 2 cps, carried by chokepoints and takes up half the level's length. This would be manageable if not accompanied with the click at 50 which is one of the most annoying individual clicks I've ever experienced in a level. The combination of these 2 things make the level really boring to play from 0.
This level also contains the hardest individual dual in any 2p level by a considerable margin (71-91). Despite it being super hard and at the end of the level, it's also the most fun dual in the level imo. The satisfaction you get with pulling it off is great and brings the enjoyment up a bit from what would otherwise be a 1/10 or maybe lower.
Outside of the last dual you have 4 other duals which are actually pretty easy both to do and to learn which is why this level despite having the hardest individual dual in it is still easier than levels like crystal crusher.
The first dual would be the easiest one if not for the 50 click which I mentioned before. You have to click the orbs in a way so you get as close to the spike as possible so as not to die to 51 and it's a pain in the ass. The 2nd dual is pretty fun and easy but you can still die to it if you're not careful. The 3rd dual is probably the hardest of the 4, luckily it doesn't have any problematic individual clicks but instead is just generally tricky. The 4th dual is definitely the easiest one and once you learn it you'll very rarely die there.
But yeah that's pretty much all I have to say about the level, I wouldn't recommend unless you're an avid lover of gambling.

I managed to beat this surprisingly fast but I think part of the reason was because I had old progress as you may remember from stuff such as my pppixel still clear completion.
Overall before I actually started going for this level I probably had over 100k attempts across all challenges or variations, mostly from WGDPS levels that contained skc stuff but I don't know for sure because I know I've lost a lot of attempts too. Although those were a lot of attempts it's not like I went into this level suddenly amazing, it still took a good while to gain any consistency with diamond dance or the doubles and to this day the most I've done either of them in a row is still just twice each. I will be clear however that because of this my difficulty opinion is definitely unreliable and shouldn't be taken to heart.
Something that was a pleasant surprise with this was how fun it ended up being. I expected this to kinda be an iffy experience but honestly the satisfaction of pulling of the hard stuff is worth it and the predrop was too short and too consistent to bother me much. It's not like it was a 10/10 or anything but it was still surprisingly solid.
Honestly I would recommend this level, especially if you're not doing it as a hardest. It's just such a surreal experience that I haven't really experienced to this degree before and it's far more satisfying than something like silent poltergeist. Hopefully the unnerfed version will feel similar although I doubt it considering how much the spam is just brute force, however my intent is also not to beat it but instead just to get good runs so hopefully that will help me in enjoying it to a similar degree.

Gameplay-wise however I can't lie it has its low points. Most of the raw gameplay is honestly really fun but a lot of the hard stuff is in the 2nd half of the wave and a lot of those hard things are awkward feeling duals which is kinda unsatisfying, on top of the last spam feeling kinda luck based to due to portals. It also didn't help that I got pretty unlucky on this having 6 post-drop deaths and also a shit ton near the end of the wave. This made it a little more frustrating due to it taking a while to get to the main hard parts, but to be honest it's not like it was THAT bad either. Again the fun parts of this level were REALLY fun so it was still a decently positive experience, but it could've definitely been better.
I also don't think it's list worthy but fully understand why people would think it is considering the spams, I can't do them well without alternating so I can imagine for the average person it'd be pretty hard.
I had the ability to beat it the day before this which would've been day 2 of the level and I got 15-100 to show that, but I wanted to postpone the completion a tad because I thought it being on friday night was funnier.
On a final note, this means IQB7 clan only has 4 levels left to beat the whole extended list which is the lowest remaining levels we've ever had.

I figured considering this is the best run anyone has to 100 it'd be worthy of a main channel upload
Once again, despite getting this run I don't feel 100% confident saying easier than Anathema still since this was a fluke, I'd need a few more really good attempts from 0 before I can be confident
It's also important to note that the randomisation for the ending doesn't happen from startpos so keep that in mind because it means from 0 the end will be slightly harder. SLIGHTLY harder, this 24-100 still encompasses vast majority of the difficulty.
Progress 3 will be list%
Still think it's easier than Anathema btw but it's still kinda early, ideally I'd want list% and 37-100 before it feels like enough to say my difficulty opinion confidently
I think this level's pretty cool and as of right now my enjoyment's at a solid 9/10. As well as this 42% run I also have runs like 30-63%, 60-100%x2 and getting to the 2nd last robot click from 50%.
Hoping I can get this finished for maymory
I was expecting dual 2 to feel extremely brute force-ish but surprisingly I actually got pretty used to it and it ended up feeling pretty fair and satisfying although still really fucking hard. Now that I've actually beaten the level I don't agree that dual 2 is actually harder than doing 28-100 although to be fair it is fairly close.
The level was also easier than I was expecting it to be which I think is a combination of the skips I found and also it being more consistent than I thought it'd be.
Although I love the way it's balanced and a lot of the gameplay is pretty satisfying there's still a few awkward things in the level that I'm not too big of a fan of like the 64% spider/ship, the pad bug at 49% that can happen sometimes and the head-hitting stuff in dual 3 so no 10/10 enjoyment or anything like that but still more fun than Crystal Crusher, BEELINE and Tenkai.
I'd probably recommend this but ONLY if you've beaten a few other hard 2p levels otherwise dual 2 would probably be far less enjoyable.

This completion was also a triple-whammy of helping the list get more opinions while it was pending, beating it for my clan, and also getting first victor of a list demon again.
About the level itself, it's MUCH harder than I expected it to be going into it. This level's difficulty is heavily based on ship momentum control meaning that it looks a lot easier than it actually is because the difficulty isn't necessarily coming from tight gaps, it kinda feels similar to how the decks dark ship is.
It would also seem enfur learned their lesson after guideless goobering because this level is also first half heavy which made it FAR more enjoyable than it otherwise would've been.
I also really like how this level has an actually long swing part instead of using it for like 2 seconds, sure it's one of the easiest parts but it's still nice to have another level properly using it.
The only part of the level I wasn't really a fan of was the ship at 11%, it just kinda unsatisfying to go through as I feel like the clicks didn't flow into each other quite so well, unlike the other parts.
Overall I had a pretty good time with this level and hope more people try it out in the future!

But yeah, this level was kinda a weird experience. For one, I beat this with my inputs the opposite way around from the other 2 solo victors, meaning that the split dual was harder but every other dual was easier making it slightly more manageable overall. For 2, this level in general also has kinda weird gameplay mainly because of the split dual. The split dual was as expected the hardest part for me, especially 47-53. Once you pass 53 the rest of the dual isn't that bad however I got SUPER unlucky and ended up dying a fuckton to really dumb stuff near the end of the split dual resulting in the level taking a decent bit longer than it needed to take.
The lava dual after the split dual is a little easier but it also has 76-77 which was super easy to fuck up and I couldn't really get a defined click pattern for it.
I also wanna talk about 27-41 as it was called the hardest part by the other 2 solo victors. I'm guessing it's to do with the fact that I had my inputs the opposite way but this dual felt easier than the lava and split duals and ended up getting extremely consistent. It was also probably my favourite part gameplay wise.
My progress was also a little interesting, it only took 3 days to learn but getting consistent was really challenging.
As for my enjoyment it was just ok. I wasn't a big fan of the major chokepoints and the rest of the gameplay wasn't fun enough to take my enjoyment any higher than just a 6/10. Not sure if I'd recommend this, maybe if you have a stronger non-dominant hand it'd be better but for me it was kinda rough.
I also am now the only solo victor to not get all 3 coins.

But yeah I honestly didn’t like this level too much and was actually planning on dropping it. I planned to play until 9pm and if I didn’t beat it then I would’ve dropped it, but luckily I did because now I have 2 april fools projects instead of just the one.
I picked this level initially just bc I was kinda curious how I’d cope with the style of gameplay but unfortunately due to it mostly being clicksync that doesn’t work on top of being quite fast too it was a sub-par experience.
Learning it was mostly fine and it was nice for the first couple days, but then it just got worse over time.
I will say however the level is actually REALLY fun when you’re consistent, but being consistent is really difficult so it’s not too often you get to have that experience.
It also has the problem of one of the biggest chokepoints being halfway into the level instead of near the start, and then having a really difficult ship later too which kinda made it boring.
It’s not like abhorrent or anything since there’s nothing in the level that’s not at least satisfying to pass, but that doesn’t make up for it enough to be a positive experience.

None of the parts are that bad to do on their own, but because all the hardest parts are in the 2nd half it makes it feel so much worse. On top of this, the hard parts really don't feel very consistent so it kinda just feels like brute force. In order to get an attempt at the main difficulty you need to go through over half the level just to inevitably die to something that feels wack and then have to wait another while to get back. It becomes boring and draining and the only reason I finished this off was for my clan.
The best way I can describe this level is that it's basically a harder, more convoluted, less consistent and less enjoyable thinking space.
However, you may notice that despite this little rant, my enjoyment is still higher than a 1 or 0.5. This is because as I said before this level is only this bad when playing from 0 as doing individual parts and runs is pretty ok assuming you're not playing from too far back. It's also really fun to learn, I ended up learning everything except for 19-39 completely blind and as a result it was a pretty interesting experience.
I also wanna mention the fact I had to rebeat this. The first time I beat the level my mic was muted and I think this was because I had muted it earlier due to someone walking into the room and then forgot to unmute it afterwards. Thankfully the rebeat only took a day extra and I also learnt how to get the first coin so I could get something else out of the rebeat.
Overall this level is very fun to learn and getting runs is fine, but playing from 0 is agonising and I would not recommend it. Please make your levels first half heavy next time.

Unfortunately this level somehow still wasn't straightforward enough for me to get consistent fast enough to 1 day it because of the drop parts. The predrop and ending I was able to get down pretty quickly as expected, but for the rest I needed to rely a bit more on muscle memory than I would've hoped. It's not a bad thing in terms of enjoyment of course, it's just a shame that this took longer than expected.
Something I also wanna mention about this level is how hard the first ship is. Everyone seems to like talking a lot about the difficulty of the predrop and ending, but the ship is absolutely worth mentioning because to me it was almost the hardest part. There'd be times where it felt harder than anything in the predrop or ending but in the long run it did get a little easier, but not to the point where it didn't still feel like one of the hardest parts.
The gameplay itself is pretty good though for the most part though. The ship's kinda iffy and it does definitely take my enjoyment down due to it being a decent bit into the level as well, but I'd still give it overall a solid 8/10!

Thankfully this level WAS straightforward enough where I didn't need to rely too much on muscle memory and could just go through it with raw skill, meaning I was successfully able to beat it in a day, taking a little under 5 hours. This level gets a lot of hate from what I've seen and I'm not quite sure why. It definitely has the flaw of being boring to play from 0 since the difficulty doesn't really start until the wave, but outside of that I really don't see much issue at all. Everything was pretty damn satisfying to go through and because the level is so straightforward it also makes all my deaths feel very fair. Most of the ships were also easier than I was expecting them to be which was a pleasant surprise. The only ones that gave me much trouble were the ones at 50 and 66.
I also want to mention my old attempts. I swear I learnt absolutely NOTHING from those attempts especially considering I don't even remember where most of them came from (I'm assuming it was just from practice runs for fun way back when), so when I started going for it it was literally the exact same as it would've been had I not touched the level whatsoever.
Anyway, if you like straightforward gameplay I'd honestly recommend this. The fact that it's also free list points is also a nice bonus.

It's inspired by 2 levels I really like (Dump and DsinK), the song is super fucking good as I was talking about at the start of the video, it's super fucking satisfying and I somehow managed to learn and beat it in a little less than 24 hours, starting at about 11:30 on the 11th and beating it at 11:09 on the 12th.
Difficulty-wise I've seen a couple people call it list worthy but in my opinion it's a decent bit from being that and if it were to get placed it would be my fastest list demon completion by far.

HOWEVER unfortunately despite the level being as cool as it is and the majority of the gameplay being fun, it also just so happens to contain some of the worst individual clicks I have ever experienced in any level I've ever played and that brings it down massively. The first instance of annoying clicks also starts in the 11-13 area which means 2 things. For one, it makes it more boring because rather than being at the VERY start, you have to wait a little bit just to try, die, and then wait a little bit longer before you get another chance. For two, even if you pass it there's still a few more asshole clicks later in the level which are equally as frustrating to die to and the frustration is amplified because you then have to go back and do the other annoying clicks again.
Just to be clear here, when I'm talking about asshole clicks I'm talking about clicks that don't feel fair or even satisfying to pass, they're not all super hard but they're just really annoying to die to. This level does have quite a few choke clicks but not all of them are annoying (e.g. the click at 77 is hard as fuck but satisfying to pull off).
Another gripe I have with the level is how middle light it is. What I mean by this is that the hardest parts are the first 20%, the 43% gap and the last 30%. The easiest parts are all in the middle which means you have to struggle to get there (Which I honestly wouldn't mind if it weren't for how frustrating some clicks were) which means you then have extra nerves for the middle because dying and having to do all the asshole clicks again is not ideal which not only means you're more likely to choke dumb stuff, but because the ending is so hard it also stings extra hard because it feels like the attempt was completely wasted and that you suck ass for not getting to the end.
While the ending itself is brutal in difficulty, it is actually pretty fun minus maybe a couple sub-par clicks but those are nowhere near on the same level as some of the clicks in the first half.
Overall, I really love the level in every aspect EXCEPT the gameplay due to certain specific clicks or gaps. Not sure if I'd recommend this but considering other victors seem to not have as much of a problem as I did it might still be worth giving a go.

This is currently the top 1 platformer so I figured I'd beat it to show people what I'm capable of and have another reference point for how hard I'd need to make a nameless star when I start verifying that.
This is also my new favourite platformer gp-wise. It's deathless, fairly straightforward, first half heavy, and there's a lot of freedom to do different types of strats. Nothing feels too ludicrous or unfair and it's very satisfying to be consistent at so this is basically a perfect top 1 in every aspect.
Something else about this level which I didn't expect is how much of a nerve builder it is. You may be confused as to why I had a big reaction despite not taking very long on the level itself, and that's because of the sheer amount of nerves that build throughout the level so by the end of it you're practically shitting yourself. The release of nerves I felt was comparable to what I felt beating top 20s not because of the difficulty but just because of the nature of the level.
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend beating this if you have the skill for it. It's probably not gonna be top 1 for much long either considering delightful climb is close to being verified so now's your chance.

However, as it is a level that was never meant to be beaten, the gameplay is very strange.
40-50 I'd say is the hardest part of the level, it has several really tight gaps as well as just being awkward. Outside of that the level is carried by chokepoints which are just sorta scattered about the place. The easier parts are also harder than they look, I'm not exactly sure why (maybe it's just bc of the flashing) but you die to random stuff more than you'd expect.
The predrop also sucks. It's not too hard but it's just annoying and boring. There's like 4 notable hard things in the predrop which are the first ship gap, the 15% consistency section, the 18% green orb, and the transition into the floaty ball at 24%. The annoying thing about the floaty ball is that it has a random chance to eat your inputs sometimes, which killed me quite a bit. Even if you pass all the hard stuff, there's also still a chance you choke the first click of that cube which always kinda stings. Because it takes a little bit for any big chokepoints to happen, your attempts also tend to last a while on average making it a pretty boring experience but at the same time making it so your attempt count isn't as high as you might expect. Then after you do the predrop, you get shoved into the 40-50 section which will kill you a LOT and then every time you die you have to do the whole predrop again which gets really tiring.
The wave itself however is actually pretty solid. Sure there's a couple awkward parts but it's pretty satisfying to pull off overall. The spams aren't too hard either and could absolutely be done by anyone who knows how alternate at least a little bit, they're not super high in cps so it wouldn't be too ludicrous for an average person to attempt.
The difficulty of the level overall is also very hard to judge for a couple reasons. For one, it's very mentally challenging because of the experience of playing from 0. For two, my consistency was VERY weird and didn't seem to stick. I got my first 85 a decent while before actually finishing it off so I wouldn't be surprised if some people (who aren't spam disabled) find it easier than I did bc I feel like most people wouldn't have this consistency issue.
I'd also like to talk about my old attempts. Despite having 7.3k of them I can assure you that they barely mean anything. When I started properly going for this level my first practice run still took over 200 attempts so it's not like I had any muscle memory for it.
Overall although this wasn't the best experience, I'm still very happy I pulled through because verifying an old ass sailent impossible level feels fucking WILD to have done lmao

This is something I had planned on doing since it released and I figured I'd do it as a side thing while playing silent polter. It's pretty fun and gets more consistent than you'd expect although there's a couple awkward chokepoints that kinda take the enjoyment down a tad.
The main difficulty of this level in the long run comes from the first and last ships, the rest gets to the point of you being consistent enough where they won't kill you a bothersome amount. The fact that it's like this also makes it so that getting unlucky is fine bc it doesn't take long to get back there.
I'm also happy that this is my first time properly getting first victor on a rated extreme and that of all levels to have as my first it's THIS.

The incoherence of this level also adds to the feeling of creators doing whatever and that's honestly one of the best ways to make a collab level imo.
And as for how it feels to play, the entire level is super satisfying and gets SUPER consistent. My worst fail of 97 was like 10 minutes before the completion and I still had a couple more 69 passes between that and the completion it was really, REALLY fun. Every single issue I had with the level at first dissolved as I played it more and it ended up turning into one of the most fun levels I've ever played.
But yeah, absolutely peak level and the next rated extreme I do will be Scrubbabingo Force.
I also beat Silent Poltergeist backwards recently (45-100 then 82 the attempt after) so hopefully that'll be done semi-soon too.

Now you may be wondering "What do you mean your luck was bad, you didn't die to the post drop THAT much" and you're right I didn't. It wasn't the post drop I had a lot of deaths on, but the 2nd wave. I didn't actually count the number of deaths I had on it but if I had to guess I probably died to it over 50 times, and considering it's the easier of the 2 wave parts I definitely shouldn't have died there that much.
The reason this level started off so rough was because this level is too fast and too flashy for me to actually process in real time, which meant a lot of my deaths felt random since I couldn't really tell what I was doing. Eventually however my muscle memory improved a lot and I started being able to notice more when I deviated from the pattern, making the level feel much more consistent and more fair despite my lack of being able to see well and because of this it also became a lot more satisfying to pull off.
As for difficulty, I would definitely say this is underrated and felt quite similar to calculator core. I'm not the most reliable for this however due to how long ago I beat that.
Also this is my first time putting my actual self in a thumbnail, I'll probably do it in quite a few throughout the year

While this level is still pretty solid, it was definitely my least favourite of the list worthy 2p levels I've beaten. I can't blame it too much though since the other levels set the bar really high.
I was able to get the whole thing learnt in 4 days, and then it took another 4 days to finish it off (Could've been 3 but I was mindblocking the everloving fuck out of 45-70). Unlike with codep where I learnt the duals in a somewhat random order, this time I learnt it from the end to the start. Not sure if this was beneficial or not but I mean I was consistent enough at the ending bits to get wr fluke so I guess it was somewhat worth it.
I also definitely spent more attempts on this than I really needed to, I was trying to beat this as fast as possible so I could prepare to move on to my next projects so I definitely overgrinded on the days where I was learning it.
As for difficulty, when it comes to 1p levels it definitely felt easier than Walter White and also felt a little harder than SWI so placing it pointercrate-wise seemed pretty straightfoward. When it comes to my opinionated list though it feels similar to Oblivion and Shukketsu which are both levels I think are underrated (I somewhat recently changed my Shukketsu opinion to harder than SWI after thinking about it for longer).
As for 2p levels, this is MUCH harder than Tenkai/SoMM but also felt easier than codep. It's a lot easier to learn than codep is and although I felt my consistency was slightly harder to build it was nowhere near enough to make it feel harder overall.
Not sure if I'd recommend this personally when the other 2p levels exist, but other players have loved it so I guess it's kinda hit or miss.

I decided to wait until a point where I felt I was better at the game and also a point where I could do it as a primary focus instead of a side project. I was initially gonna do it just after eyes in the water but then the whole Anathema thing happened and this got put off a few months.
Fast forward to now where I was finally able to full focus this, I had completely forgotten how to play the level and my muscle memory had disheveled entirely so I was basically playing from scratch. I did make quite a few tweaks here and then such as fixing bugs, nerfing major chokes, making the cube feel slightly better to play, and some of those were close to the completion day so I feel like I'm gonna be overrating this due to how most of my experience was on harder versions.
The hardest part of the level in my opinion is the ship, which also happens to be my worst gamemode which further makes me believe I found this harder than most people will.
The goal for this level was to be the 1.9 GDPS top 1 (Harder than Deadlier Clubstep) so hopefully it's at least harder than that.
As for the level itself, it plays pretty decently. It's not the best thing in the world or anything like that, it definitely has a couple flaws in the gp but nothing ludicrous. It was also interesting to learn since it's so flashy and convoluted it almost feels like playing invisible gameplay at times.
As for the deco, part of the reason I accepted this verification was because it's one of the more interesting 1.9 levels I've seen. The atmosphere in this level is so chaotic the only 1.9 level I think that comes close to it is reset your mind. I also kinda like how the gamemodes don't switch that much and the level feels like a gauntlet of 6 naturally defined parts.

I beat this about a month ago but didn’t upload it until now because I was hoping I would’ve had Convulsion done by now so that I could upload 3 verifications in a row, but since that’s taking a while I figured I’d just upload this now.
This level is 6 and a half minutes of my least favourite style of gameplay. It goes so fast for so long that it felt almost like a memory level to me even though it’s not, I consistently struggled to process what was happening while I was playing so deaths often felt random. I’m also really prone to brainfarting in levels like these so it felt less like something skill based and more like a don’t be stupid challenge. I know my dislike of this level is only because of issues I personally have so I can see how other people would like it, but it very much isn’t for me. I’d say this was still more enjoyable than void wave though, probably because this level doesn’t attempt to do clicksync.
As for why I was clicking quietly for once, I was sick. If I clicked too loudly it hurt my head so I had to try to click softly to not make too much noise.
Also if you're wondering why I got more orbs than I should've for my worst fail being 83, it's because after the 83 my game crashed and it went back to my best being 74.

This level has gone through quite a lot of changes throughout my verification such as nerfs, slight buffs, transition fixes, bug fixes, easter eggs and generally making the level feel more fair. Not all of my fails were on the same version so there’s things like me having 75x4 but those were all before I decided to nerf it slightly.
Now for the experience. What a fucking wild ride this was, it definitely had a lot of ups and downs. This is the weirdest level I’ve played in a long time in terms of consistency because it’s both fast-paced AND reactionary, on top of being 2.5 minutes long. When I was inconsistent, playing from 0 was really rough. There really wasn’t anything I could do about that as a verifier as it was a raw gameplay issue more than a balancing issue. The only thing I really could do was nerf the first 31% a bit, which I did. The first 31% is definitely the easiest part but the gameplay style of it is also quite awkward which means even though it’s easy, you can still get stuck if you’re not careful. 31-100 however was really fun. The main issues I had with this level were just caused by being inconsistent from 0 and attempting to force runs to 100 which wasn’t an issue specific to Anathema but the fact that I was struggling so much for consistency made me try to force stuff which was definitely not a good idea lmfao. This is a level where you can have several ending deaths and still feel far from beating it.
When you’re consistent at this level it’s a fucking blast though, which is why I think this level is probably more fun if you don’t do it as a hardest.
I’d also like to add how my experience was as a verifier. The only thing about this that had a detriment on me is that I was literally the only person with an up to date copy and couldn’t give copies to anyone else. This meant I had no sense of how hard this was compared to other higher end levels (And I still don’t until more people play this) and a lot of the time it caused me to feel really shitty as a player as it felt like it should’ve been easier than it was. I don’t care where it places now that I’m done with it but the idea that I was struggling so much on a level that had a chance of people finding it free really got to me sometimes.
The rest was fantastic though, Nikrodox was incredibly kind and respectful about everything and couldn’t be thankful enough for that. I didn’t feel pressured to rush the level or anything like that which was really nice.
Also, I purposely left in a couple swag routes. I thought it'd be more fun to keep them rather than patch them out.
If you're wondering why there's no megahack stats on the screen for this btw, it's because I beat this without megahack, or any mods for that matter. This is yet another verification I did in pure vanilla GD.
All in all, I’m glad I got to have this opportunity and I hope others can have their own little adventures with this level too. Thank you all!

About the level itself, the gameplay is pretty damn satisfying and it's first half heavy so I enjoyed it quite a lot! The only gripes I had were issues that were caused by 2.2 such as the 2% green orb being fucking impossible or the 37% bug eating half my bridge attempts, so on 2.1 this definitely would've been a 10/10. It's also quite reactionary based which I like, meaning that often times the clicks you do will impact how the clicks afterwards work. The level is also not very fast paced which makes reacting to timings much more manageable and overall makes stuff feel more fair.
On top of all this it's also very straightforward so I was able to learn most of it pretty quickly, however it took a while to get a full understanding of how everything worked since some timings were weirder than they initially seemed (Such as the fact you can't buffer the black orb at 27 if you hold off the platform before).
As for difficulty, even with all the 2.2 issues I still think this is easier than Saul. It's pretty on par with TLR though.

Hopefully I can get this done in the next week or 2
I reckon only 1 (Or 2 if I die to 99) progress videos will come out before it's done as I don't see myself fluking the ending ESPECIALLY with nerves lmao.
Next progress video will likely be 80%+, there's a pretty hard wave there
Also 38-100 was an insane run and I'm super happy to have gotten it considering how much I was struggling to get to 100 from anywhere at all
42'395 attempts so far
Thumbnail by @booknquil
But anyway, having the level in 2 runs now feels fucking insane and I can't wait to beat this and have the level come out after so long.
Reminder that the level is 2nd half heavy so I've still got quite a while to go, but if I keep going like this I should be able to get the level out in September.
This level's pretty good for a top 1 platformer though, considering what we've had in the past (Talking about the list that includes unrated levels).
This is also my first platformer completion where I cut the video, I usually try to beat stuff fast enough to the point where I don't need to cut but in this case I already had the completion footage bc again, I didn't think I'd be uploading the video publicly.
I should point out there was 2 instances of me getting to the checkpoint and exiting out due to having to tend to other things, the fact that you have to do everything in 1 sitting is why I dislike checkpoints in top platformers. The first time I got the the checkpoint I had about 7k attempts, including the attempts I had used to practice the post-checkpoint sections. Thankfully I ended up getting consistent enough to be able to do everything fast enough in one sitting.
Overall a decently enjoyable experience, but kinda hope the future of platformer is longer, deathless levels instead.

But yeah it's pretty fun so far and I have about 35k attempts so far. I have the full thing in 3 runs (41, 31-72, 58-100) and I'm feeling good about getting more progress on this! Expect more progress vids like this to come.
This is definitely gonna be my hardest by a decent margin so hopefully I can pull through.
I would say even though 41% is the "main" part of the video, 58-100 is the harder run because the level is quite 2nd half heavy. I just like the idea of prioritising progress vids from 0 bc I feel like it's more hype that way.
My next goal is probably gonna be getting something like 38-83, but my next progress video will likely be whenever I reach the 50s from 0.
Excluding my enjoyment of playing it, this is probably my favourite list demon in the game. The gimmicks, the song representation, the creativity, the energy, everything about this level is fucking peak and it deserves more attention.
As for how it plays, although it's not like the most fun I've had playing something it's still pretty damn solid. It also played a lot differently than I was expecting it to. For example, the first dual is the most fun part of the level as it is INCREDIBLY satisfying and consistent once you know what you're doing with it. The first wave is also surprisingly hard, when I looked it at I thought it'd be easy but I died to it quite a lot. The 2nd half is also unfortunately why my enjoyment's at a 8.5/10 instead of being higher, it just wasn't as satisfying because it relies on very poor clicksync gameplay. Other than that though this level is fantastic.
This is also my last rated side project I'll be doing before firework since Checked Steam got rated (Which I never expected and I'm sorry for people who want to play that), so firework will probably start sometime in October. This also means my next extreme demon completion will be Anathema, and I'll be uploading the first progress video once I get to 39 or above.

The level itself is pretty neat. I find it quite funny how randomised the quality of the parts feel, makes it seem like all the creators had a good time building it. The way the gameplay feels is also pretty random though, with some parts being very easy, others being quite hard, and others just being awkward. You've got parts like ozpectro's part which is pretty hard but also fairly straightforward and it gets very consistent, and then you have parts like skele's which isn't too hard but is awkward and don't work some of the time. I'd say as a whole the level is pretty enjoyable but there are certain parts which definitely bring it down, and the fact that most of the awkward parts are in the 2nd half really doesn't help. The good parts of this level are REALLY fun though so that makes up for it.

Now about the level itself, most of it is really, REALLY fucking fun. The first ship is super satisfying to get down, the first cube has a consistent setup for almost every jump, everything in the first half gets consistent and feels very fair. The drop has surprisingly good sync for the most part too!
The issue in the level comes from just a few chokepoints and annoying parts in the drop including the blind ball click at 62, the dual at 58 (The ufo can hit the pad and get launched into the spikes), the ship at 61, the ship at 79, the blue orb at 83 (It's a timing where it's just barely not a buffer), and the transition into the last cube at 92. These are pretty damn annoying to deal with from 0 but the first half is so fun that I didn't mind too much.
I should also mention that because I use black as my primary player colour I had to do the last cube basically invisible, I did not change my icons for this because I thought it would be really funny.
Overall a very enjoyable experience, could've easily been a 10/10 if not for the drop having a couple asshole clicks.

I should mention that for learning this level and doing runs I exclusively used practice mode. Startpos can break the level quite easily so I felt like just using practice was the best way to avoid that problem.
Anyway I was expecting this to maybe take 3 weeks maximum, I did expect it to be a new hardest sure but I didn't know I'd get so unlucky on it. I still think 3 weeks should've been the timeframe it took me but it ended up taking just over 5 weeks to beat it.
This level is basically zodiac on steroids, none of the parts are too bad to do on their own but having to be consistent enough at everything to do it all in one run is HARD. It's especially hard considering how much nerves this level gives you. It's 3 minutes long and super intense the whole way through, by the time you're at the spiral it's difficult to stay controlled and not shake too much. That's what caused my spiral deaths, controlling ship in a situation where I have to react to the spiral's movement in real time is very challenging while nervous.
And then if you manage to pass the spiral you still have to do the ending which is also very hard.
I did enjoy the experience overall though, it definitely had its rough patches but since I'm the verifier I was able to balance and bugfix to make it significantly less annoying and more fair feeling.
But even though it was enjoyable, I'm super happy I get to move on now. I was getting absurdly unlucky and not having to worry about it anymore is a massive weight taken off my shoulders.
I also now get to move on to Anathema. The first stream of me playing that level will be on July 20th and it will be on twitch like all my other streams.
As for difficulty, I definitely think this is a new hardest. Not sure by how much though considering I haven't played anything harder yet but I would be quite surprised if this somehow landed in the top 10.

This level is also chokepoint carried, it gets its difficulty from individual clicks rather than parts as a whole so if you go for this watch out for that.
I would recommend it though, it's very satisfying once you get it down!

I don't think anyone will have anywhere near as bad of an experience with this as I did, and I could see people even maybe enjoying it, especially without the coin path. It's just that this is the first time where the fact it's a verification has impacted an experience to this degree and I wasn't prepared for that.

So yeah, it’s the level! I’ve been waiting to do this for fucking forever and to have it finally done feels amazing. I’m also very thankful to have prepared for it in the way I did as a lot of that knowledge I got came in handy, and I also learnt some new things too! I hope the tips in this video can help a few people beat this someday, or at the least motivate them to try out 2p levels. I also hope this video came out in decent quality because I wanted to get it out as soon as I could. The 2p levels have honestly been so much fun and I’m so glad they exist, I’m probably not gonna stop with codep either since there’s levels like beeline and we are not the same which I wanna do.
About the level itself, it took 6 days to learn and here is exactly what happened on each of the 6 days:
Day 1: Learnt and did duals 1, 2 and 8. Set up dual 4.
Day 2: Chained and did dual 4. Set up duals 3 and 6.
Day 3: Did dual 3. Chained dual 6. Set up dual 7.
Day 4: Did dual 6. Chained dual 7.
Day 5: Did dual 7. Set up dual 5.
Day 6: Chained and did dual 5.
After learning everything it took an additional 3 days to beat the level, making for a total of 9 days.
I have no clue how hard this will be for people who are fast learners or people who are capable of beating top 30s in like 2 days, but I think for the average person it’ll probably be around top 25-35. In my opinion I found it to be similar difficulty to unknown but it’s hard to say easier or harder considering codep and unknown are polar opposite skillsets.
I would definitely recommend at least trying this out (After you get a bit of 2p experience first ofc), it’s a very interesting experience that I very much enjoyed and hopefully you’ll enjoy it too!

As for difficulty, I think with pausing it's overrated, it definitely felt easier than bloodlust and coral cave to me. WITHOUT pausing however there's the added difficulty of having to commit the paths to memory which definitely makes it harder by not by too much as this level gets pretty damn consistent.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this level regardless of if you go for it with or without pausing, I just think it's a really cool level that deserves more victors than it has rn.

This is a level that has really stood out to me basically ever since it came out, and so I felt like doing it as a list hardest would be a very good idea, and it was! This level is probably the best experience I've had going for a hardest since cognition, and even though I got somewhat unlucky with the 9 drop deaths, I still had a blast. Somehow, despite the unorthodox style of gameplay every death feels fair, there's just some points which are REALLY hard.
The first 20% isn't too bad, but you can still end up getting stuck for a while. Then you have the bass ship, which has 2 notable hard gaps: The 21% click, and the 24% gap which is probably the hardest gap in the level. For 24% I'd frequently switch strats in attempt to make it as consistent as possible but no matter what I did it was always bonkers hard. Next is the 30% cube, which starts off pretty hard but then gets easier the further you get through it. The cube actually gets surprisingly consistent (I did it 3 times in a row on multiple occasions and even 4 times in a row once.) and is VERY satisfying to do once you're good with it. Then you get a little break with 37-43 which isn't hard but you can still choke if you're not careful. Then you get 43-45 which I found to be very hard, especially the 45 miniwave. Once you get to 46 though it's pretty easy up until 50 where you have a pretty difficult pink orb timing into a wave spam into a tight wave release at 51, which I actually died to more than the pink orb. Once you pass 51 you're basically guaranteed a shot at the 55 cube. The 55 cube was a little weird because it felt much harder in runs than it did from 0, but either way it's still super fun. The gaps may be super tight but that just makes them all the more satisfying to pass! The drop is next and most of it is pretty easy but it has a few hard bits. The main one is the key wave, and that ended up killing me in most of my drop attempts. 74-76 is also pretty difficult. The building jumps are easy to choke but mostly aren't too bad. The ending however is actually pretty challenging and I'm kinda surprised I didn't die there from 0, especially considering I died there 6 times from 30.
And as for difficulty, yes it feels barely easier than Saul Goodman. Now I just need to beat something in between to decided if it's a case of me finding this overrated or finding Saul underrated.
Very happy to have this done and would strongly recommend doing as a hardest if you like levels on the more obscure side!

This levels probably way better if it fits your skillset though, but for me it was a tad rough around the edges at times. I'm very glad I got this done though, and now it's time to get onto the lighting rod grind.

The first 6% is definitely the hardest part, the first click isn't too bad since it has a nice setup but the ship afterwards is kinda wacky. The transition out of the ship also isn't ideal since you need to have upwards momentum otherwise you'll die to the spike below the portal. The line of pink orbs after the first ship though is definitely the worst part of the level though and single-handedly brings it down from a 10/10 to a 9/10. It's basically just a dice roll. After that though you get the ball part which is a bit of a break before the 2nd ship. The 2nd ship is another one of the hardest parts, the hitboxes of the squares are a bit strange and the last drop down just before the yellow orb I died to a lot of the time. You get another hard jump at 17% and then after that you get a pretty damn long break. 18-43% is the easiest part of the level and while you can still die there you get to a point of being able to do it almost every time pretty quickly. 43% is another hard part though because not only do you have to time the orbs so you don't hit the blocks but you also need to have enough distance to reach the platform afterwards. 45-54% isn't too bad but it can still kill you if you're not careful. The ship at 54% I struggled with quite a lot, it didn't get consistent until day 3 and even then I would still choke it a lot from 0. I was at the point where I'd be able to make it there frequently though so I didn't mind too much. After that ship the next hard clicks are 64% pink orb and 66% jump. Surprisingly however although I died here a lot in runs, from 0 I was pretty good with these clicks. Then you have 70% which is just a bit of an awkward ship movement, it's hard but really fun to pull off. 71% onwards is where the difficulty slightly drops, there's not too much difficulty after it aside from a couple hard clicks here and there such as the quad spike at the end so it's really just a don't choke challenge. However, not choking here is actually pretty damn hard to do and I'm honestly surprised I didn't have more deaths past 71%.
There was also the death I had at 88%, where I was sure I had shake disabled but then suddenly the level started shaking without me expecting it, and I just panicked and died.
Overall though, definitely glad I did this. I feel like my ship skill has definitely improved because of this level and I very much enjoyed my time with it!
This is also a point where I can feel myself noticeably improving at the game in general, not too long ago a level like this would've taken 8 days at the LEAST, so the fact I was able to do it in 7 is really nice.

The gameplay of this level is not too hard, but the difficulty of this level mainly comes from the mental challenge of it. It is somewhat enjoyable in runs sure, but it is agonising to play from 0. It takes forever to get to the difficulty and when you do you end up dying to dumb stuff all the time. It's riddled with chokepoints but of course all the chokepoints require you to get decently far into the level so you can die to them just to have to do everything all over again. The type of ship gameplay this level has also really doesn't sit well with me, the use of mini spikes for most of the corridors can make a lot of the deaths feel bullshit, on top of the fact that in the first ship you also have those pillars the cover the player. Weirdly though, the parts of this level I expected to be shit were actually surprisingly fun! I really like the sections at 43-61, the spider is incredibly satisfying to get consistent at and the portal wave is surprisingly fair, and of course there's the fact it's high cps which is always something I enjoy. If the rest of the level was like 43-61 this would've been a blast but unfortunately the rest is just annoying lmao. At least the rest of my clan doesn't have to touch this level.
Overall, would strongly recommend against playing this level unless you want to do it as a joke.

This one was absolutely brutal to learn due to it not just being a 2p level, but also being a memory level on top of that. 53-100 was pretty simple and I managed to do that run on day 1 without much issue, however learning the dual wave and the splitscreen dual both took a couple days each. I found a really nice path for the dual wave though that made it very consistent for the most part, except for maybe the 4x speed part of it.
Despite this being really damn hard to learn it's definitely the easiest demonlist 2p level gameplay-wise by a decent margin, the learning difficulty just pushes it to around horros. The last ship is a decently big chokepoint sure, but by the time you get to it you're already so consistent at the level that it doesn't matter. This level was also extremely fun! Learning it had its ups and downs sure, but it was totally worth it for the experience I got to have after going through that. I even rebeat it afterwards because I enjoyed playing it so much, and I added the additional challenge of going for another coin. For the rebeat, I died to the end 2 more times (93 and 97).
Overall, very good level. Definitely wouldn't recommend as your first 2p level due to how learny it is, but if you have a decent amount of experience learning 2p stuff then go ahead!
Thank you akunakunn for making yet another banger.
