In 2020, Square Enix released its most ambitious game to date - an effort to remake one of the absolute all-time classics, Final Fantasy VII. So big was the task ahead of them that they decided that the only way they could do it justice was to release it as a trilogy. The 1st game in the series proved to be a hit, despite being set entirely in the Midgar portion of the story.Fast-forward 4 years, the trilogy continues as we finally get to step outside of Midgar and experience the beautiful world of FF7. The shackles have been taken off and we begin an exciting part of the adventure that will take us to many different towns, locales and habitats. The story ended in Remake roughly how it did in the original, as Cloud and his friends begin their hunt for Sephiroth. We will be picking things up by first getting to experience Cloud retelling the story of what happened in Nibelheim 5 years ago, the incident that drove Sephiroth to madness and set him on course to destroy the entire world.On the one hand, we know the story, but on the other, Remake ended by throwing us a huge curveball and setting up events in a way that appear to be quite different from the original. They have dubbed this part of the trilogy the "Unknown Journey". So just what will change, and who will be affected remains to be seen. Having received critical acclaim and built off what was a strong formula in Remake, Rebirth might just be the best Final Fantasy we've had since the golden era. Our story begins with a character known only as Wolf, a child who finds themselves orphaned admist a bloody battlefield. Taken in by a mentor, he grows to become an accomplished shinobi, later tasked to protect and serve a boy with divine powers named Kuro. Events transpire and the pair find themselves separated, as Wolf must reunite with his master and help him escape the fate which awaits due to his powerful bloodline. Sekiro is another in a string of hits by Fromsoft, winning the 2019 game of the year award, and is set in a beautiful Japanese backdrop which appeals to my own visual tastes. But make no mistake - the seemingly more conventional story, friendly NPCs you meet early on and the beautiful scenery does not mean you are not in for a world of pain, as one must master the art of combat to even stand a chance of making it to the end. In 2020, Square Enix released its most ambitious game to date - an effort to remake one of the absolute all-time classics, Final Fantasy VII. So big was the task ahead of them that they decided that the only way they could do it justice was to release it as a trilogy. The 1st game in the series proved to be a hit, despite being set entirely in the Midgar portion of the story.Fast-forward 4 years, the trilogy continues as we finally get to step outside of Midgar and experience the beautiful world of FF7. The shackles have been taken off and we begin an exciting part of the adventure that will take us to many different towns, locales and habitats. The story ended in Remake roughly how it did in the original, as Cloud and his friends begin their hunt for Sephiroth. We will be picking things up by first getting to experience Cloud retelling the story of what happened in Nibelheim 5 years ago, the incident that drove Sephiroth to madness and set him on course to destroy the entire world.On the one hand, we know the story, but on the other, Remake ended by throwing us a huge curveball and setting up events in a way that appear to be quite different from the original. They have dubbed this part of the trilogy the "Unknown Journey". So just what will change, and who will be affected remains to be seen. Having received critical acclaim and built off what was a strong formula in Remake, Rebirth might just be the best Final Fantasy we've had since the golden era. Our story begins with a character known only as Wolf, a child who finds themselves orphaned admist a bloody battlefield. Taken in by a mentor, he grows to become an accomplished shinobi, later tasked to protect and serve a boy with divine powers named Kuro. Events transpire and the pair find themselves separated, as Wolf must reunite with his master and help him escape the fate which awaits due to his powerful bloodline. Sekiro is another in a string of hits by Fromsoft, winning the 2019 game of the year award, and is set in a beautiful Japanese backdrop which appeals to my own visual tastes. But make no mistake - the seemingly more conventional story, friendly NPCs you meet early on and the beautiful scenery does not mean you are not in for a world of pain, as one must master the art of combat to even stand a chance of making it to the end. In 2020, Square Enix released its most ambitious game to date - an effort to remake one of the absolute all-time classics, Final Fantasy VII. So big was the task ahead of them that they decided that the only way they could do it justice was to release it as a trilogy. The 1st game in the series proved to be a hit, despite being set entirely in the Midgar portion of the story.Fast-forward 4 years, the trilogy continues as we finally get to step outside of Midgar and experience the beautiful world of FF7. The shackles have been taken off and we begin an exciting part of the adventure that will take us to many different towns, locales and habitats. The story ended in Remake roughly how it did in the original, as Cloud and his friends begin their hunt for Sephiroth. We will be picking things up by first getting to experience Cloud retelling the story of what happened in Nibelheim 5 years ago, the incident that drove Sephiroth to madness and set him on course to destroy the entire world.On the one hand, we know the story, but on the other, Remake ended by throwing us a huge curveball and setting up events in a way that appear to be quite different from the original. They have dubbed this part of the trilogy the "Unknown Journey". So just what will change, and who will be affected remains to be seen. Having received critical acclaim and built off what was a strong formula in Remake, Rebirth might just be the best Final Fantasy we've had since the golden era. Our story begins with a character known only as Wolf, a child who finds themselves orphaned admist a bloody battlefield. Taken in by a mentor, he grows to become an accomplished shinobi, later tasked to protect and serve a boy with divine powers named Kuro. Events transpire and the pair find themselves separated, as Wolf must reunite with his master and help him escape the fate which awaits due to his powerful bloodline. Sekiro is another in a string of hits by Fromsoft, winning the 2019 game of the year award, and is set in a beautiful Japanese backdrop which appeals to my own visual tastes. But make no mistake - the seemingly more conventional story, friendly NPCs you meet early on and the beautiful scenery does not mean you are not in for a world of pain, as one must master the art of combat to even stand a chance of making it to the end. I wanted to fuse together 2 games I love and had seen some videos of character models being imported into Elden Ring for some fun videos, mostly of using them in combat. But, me being me, I wanted to take things a step further and actually try to tell a story using this method. Auron's story and his relationship with life and death, travelling between realms as an unsent, puts him in an interesting position where just for curiosity's sake, I could try to send him to the Lands Between of Elden Ring. After leaving Spira, what if fate had one last adventure in store for him?I tried to create something fun that will hopefully showcase the world and general story of Elden Ring to those who have never seen it (many followers of this channel are more FF/JRPG-centric and may have no interest in ever playing ER), while providing an entertaining "what if" story for fans of both games. I tried my best to tell a cohesive story and make it make sense, using some dialogue from FFX where appropriate to give it a little more dynamism, while having him journey through the world of ER to eventually become the Elden Lord.Some liberties have been taken with the story and of course it's mostly a solo fun fan-made video that won't have incredible production value and isn't to be taken too seriously, but I hope that it captures the imagination and proves to be a nice viewing experience. It was super fun to work on and try a different style of recording, editing and storytelling. It's nice to do these one-off projects from time to time just to add something more creative to the ever-growing Dansg08 archive of videos :)(For anyone wondering how I got Auron into the game, I commissioned a modder who specialises in putting character models into these games to put the HD remaster version of Auron in there. So big was the task ahead of them that they decided that the only way they could do it justice was to release it as a trilogy. The 1st game in the series proved to be a hit, despite being set entirely in the Midgar portion of the story.Fast-forward 4 years, the trilogy continues as we finally get to step outside of Midgar and experience the beautiful world of FF7. The shackles have been taken off and we begin an exciting part of the adventure that will take us to many different towns, locales and habitats. The story ended in Remake roughly how it did in the original, as Cloud and his friends begin their hunt for Sephiroth. We will be picking things up by first getting to experience Cloud retelling the story of what happened in Nibelheim 5 years ago, the incident that drove Sephiroth to madness and set him on course to destroy the entire world.On the one hand, we know the story, but on the other, Remake ended by throwing us a huge curveball and setting up events in a way that appear to be quite different from the original. They have dubbed this part of the trilogy the "Unknown Journey". So just what will change, and who will be affected remains to be seen. Having received critical acclaim and built off what was a strong formula in Remake, Rebirth might just be the best Final Fantasy we've had since the golden era. Events transpire and the pair find themselves separated, as Wolf must reunite with his master and help him escape the fate which awaits due to his powerful bloodline. Sekiro is another in a string of hits by Fromsoft, winning the 2019 game of the year award, and is set in a beautiful Japanese backdrop which appeals to my own visual tastes. But make no mistake - the seemingly more conventional story, friendly NPCs you meet early on and the beautiful scenery does not mean you are not in for a world of pain, as one must master the art of combat to even stand a chance of making it to the end. Our story begins with a character known only as Wolf, a child who finds themselves orphaned admist a bloody battlefield. Taken in by a mentor, he grows to become an accomplished shinobi, later tasked to protect and serve a boy with divine powers named Kuro. Events transpire and the pair find themselves separated, as Wolf must reunite with his master and help him escape the fate which awaits due to his powerful bloodline. Sekiro is another in a string of hits by Fromsoft, winning the 2019 game of the year award, and is set in a beautiful Japanese backdrop which appeals to my own visual tastes. But make no mistake - the seemingly more conventional story, friendly NPCs you meet early on and the beautiful scenery does not mean you are not in for a world of pain, as one must master the art of combat to even stand a chance of making it to the end. In 2020, Square Enix released its most ambitious game to date - an effort to remake one of the absolute all-time classics, Final Fantasy VII. So big was the task ahead of them that they decided that the only way they could do it justice was to release it as a trilogy. The 1st game in the series proved to be a hit, despite being set entirely in the Midgar portion of the story.Fast-forward 4 years, the trilogy continues as we finally get to step outside of Midgar and experience the beautiful world of FF7. The shackles have been taken off and we begin an exciting part of the adventure that will take us to many different towns, locales and habitats. The story ended in Remake roughly how it did in the original, as Cloud and his friends begin their hunt for Sephiroth. We will be picking things up by first getting to experience Cloud retelling the story of what happened in Nibelheim 5 years ago, the incident that drove Sephiroth to madness and set him on course to destroy the entire world.On the one hand, we know the story, but on the other, Remake ended by throwing us a huge curveball and setting up events in a way that appear to be quite different from the original. They have dubbed this part of the trilogy the "Unknown Journey". So just what will change, and who will be affected remains to be seen. Having received critical acclaim and built off what was a strong formula in Remake, Rebirth might just be the best Final Fantasy we've had since the golden era. Our story begins with a character known only as Wolf, a child who finds themselves orphaned admist a bloody battlefield. Taken in by a mentor, he grows to become an accomplished shinobi, later tasked to protect and serve a boy with divine powers named Kuro. Events transpire and the pair find themselves separated, as Wolf must reunite with his master and help him escape the fate which awaits due to his powerful bloodline. Sekiro is another in a string of hits by Fromsoft, winning the 2019 game of the year award, and is set in a beautiful Japanese backdrop which appeals to my own visual tastes. But make no mistake - the seemingly more conventional story, friendly NPCs you meet early on and the beautiful scenery does not mean you are not in for a world of pain, as one must master the art of combat to even stand a chance of making it to the end. In 2020, Square Enix released its most ambitious game to date - an effort to remake one of the absolute all-time classics, Final Fantasy VII. So big was the task ahead of them that they decided that the only way they could do it justice was to release it as a trilogy. The 1st game in the series proved to be a hit, despite being set entirely in the Midgar portion of the story.Fast-forward 4 years, the trilogy continues as we finally get to step outside of Midgar and experience the beautiful world of FF7. The shackles have been taken off and we begin an exciting part of the adventure that will take us to many different towns, locales and habitats. The story ended in Remake roughly how it did in the original, as Cloud and his friends begin their hunt for Sephiroth. We will be picking things up by first getting to experience Cloud retelling the story of what happened in Nibelheim 5 years ago, the incident that drove Sephiroth to madness and set him on course to destroy the entire world.On the one hand, we know the story, but on the other, Remake ended by throwing us a huge curveball and setting up events in a way that appear to be quite different from the original. They have dubbed this part of the trilogy the "Unknown Journey". So just what will change, and who will be affected remains to be seen. Having received critical acclaim and built off what was a strong formula in Remake, Rebirth might just be the best Final Fantasy we've had since the golden era. Our story begins with a character known only as Wolf, a child who finds themselves orphaned admist a bloody battlefield. Taken in by a mentor, he grows to become an accomplished shinobi, later tasked to protect and serve a boy with divine powers named Kuro. Events transpire and the pair find themselves separated, as Wolf must reunite with his master and help him escape the fate which awaits due to his powerful bloodline. Sekiro is another in a string of hits by Fromsoft, winning the 2019 game of the year award, and is set in a beautiful Japanese backdrop which appeals to my own visual tastes. But make no mistake - the seemingly more conventional story, friendly NPCs you meet early on and the beautiful scenery does not mean you are not in for a world of pain, as one must master the art of combat to even stand a chance of making it to the end. It may be 100% necessary to use them to complete the game, but given the madness that ensued (and educational value) of no-junction FFVIII Attack Only, I wanted to push the challenge a little further with my own take on it, and not allow the use of Magic Stones for as long as possible.The series will be similar in approach to FFX Auto Battle, with a voiceover style as opposed to real-time commentary, tighter editing to remove much of the excess and fortnightly episodes to give the series more structure and provide something for people to look forward to. Our story begins with a character known only as Wolf, a child who finds themselves orphaned admist a bloody battlefield. Taken in by a mentor, he grows to become an accomplished shinobi, later tasked to protect and serve a boy with divine powers named Kuro. Events transpire and the pair find themselves separated, as Wolf must reunite with his master and help him escape the fate which awaits due to his powerful bloodline. Sekiro is another in a string of hits by Fromsoft, winning the 2019 game of the year award, and is set in a beautiful Japanese backdrop which appeals to my own visual tastes. But make no mistake - the seemingly more conventional story, friendly NPCs you meet early on and the beautiful scenery does not mean you are not in for a world of pain, as one must master the art of combat to even stand a chance of making it to the end. Our story begins with a character known only as Wolf, a child who finds themselves orphaned admist a bloody battlefield. Taken in by a mentor, he grows to become an accomplished shinobi, later tasked to protect and serve a boy with divine powers named Kuro. Events transpire and the pair find themselves separated, as Wolf must reunite with his master and help him escape the fate which awaits due to his powerful bloodline. Sekiro is another in a string of hits by Fromsoft, winning the 2019 game of the year award, and is set in a beautiful Japanese backdrop which appeals to my own visual tastes. But make no mistake - the seemingly more conventional story, friendly NPCs you meet early on and the beautiful scenery does not mean you are not in for a world of pain, as one must master the art of combat to even stand a chance of making it to the end. In 2020, Square Enix released its most ambitious game to date - an effort to remake one of the absolute all-time classics, Final Fantasy VII. So big was the task ahead of them that they decided that the only way they could do it justice was to release it as a trilogy. The 1st game in the series proved to be a hit, despite being set entirely in the Midgar portion of the story.Fast-forward 4 years, the trilogy continues as we finally get to step outside of Midgar and experience the beautiful world of FF7. The shackles have been taken off and we begin an exciting part of the adventure that will take us to many different towns, locales and habitats. The story ended in Remake roughly how it did in the original, as Cloud and his friends begin their hunt for Sephiroth. We will be picking things up by first getting to experience Cloud retelling the story of what happened in Nibelheim 5 years ago, the incident that drove Sephiroth to madness and set him on course to destroy the entire world.On the one hand, we know the story, but on the other, Remake ended by throwing us a huge curveball and setting up events in a way that appear to be quite different from the original. They have dubbed this part of the trilogy the "Unknown Journey". So just what will change, and who will be affected remains to be seen. Having received critical acclaim and built off what was a strong formula in Remake, Rebirth might just be the best Final Fantasy we've had since the golden era. In 2020, Square Enix released its most ambitious game to date - an effort to remake one of the absolute all-time classics, Final Fantasy VII. So big was the task ahead of them that they decided that the only way they could do it justice was to release it as a trilogy. The 1st game in the series proved to be a hit, despite being set entirely in the Midgar portion of the story.Fast-forward 4 years, the trilogy continues as we finally get to step outside of Midgar and experience the beautiful world of FF7. The shackles have been taken off and we begin an exciting part of the adventure that will take us to many different towns, locales and habitats. The story ended in Remake roughly how it did in the original, as Cloud and his friends begin their hunt for Sephiroth. We will be picking things up by first getting to experience Cloud retelling the story of what happened in Nibelheim 5 years ago, the incident that drove Sephiroth to madness and set him on course to destroy the entire world.On the one hand, we know the story, but on the other, Remake ended by throwing us a huge curveball and setting up events in a way that appear to be quite different from the original. They have dubbed this part of the trilogy the "Unknown Journey". So just what will change, and who will be affected remains to be seen. Having received critical acclaim and built off what was a strong formula in Remake, Rebirth might just be the best Final Fantasy we've had since the golden era. Our story begins with a character known only as Wolf, a child who finds themselves orphaned admist a bloody battlefield. Taken in by a mentor, he grows to become an accomplished shinobi, later tasked to protect and serve a boy with divine powers named Kuro. Events transpire and the pair find themselves separated, as Wolf must reunite with his master and help him escape the fate which awaits due to his powerful bloodline. Sekiro is another in a string of hits by Fromsoft, winning the 2019 game of the year award, and is set in a beautiful Japanese backdrop which appeals to my own visual tastes. But make no mistake - the seemingly more conventional story, friendly NPCs you meet early on and the beautiful scenery does not mean you are not in for a world of pain, as one must master the art of combat to even stand a chance of making it to the end.
