OCALA POLICE OFFICER KRISTEN WHITSTON ESCALATES VICTIM, SOLICITS TRESPASS, MISLEADS STAFF, AN LAUGHS Long_Ranger FL 2025-08-17 | During an easy to resolve incident at a Family Dollar in Ocala Florida on 04/22/2025, Officer Kristen Whitston escalated the Victim Katie Hayes who needed help by asking an unnecessary question about cash and demanding ID. Then solicited a trespass.Throughout the incident Whitston escalated the situation by mistreating Katie Hayes, made misleading comments to store staff, and mocked Katie.Whitston went on to wrongfully arrest Katie. Whitston laughed to her Patrol Sergeant about unnecessary force she used during the takedown and arrest. At another point Katie was left in a hot patrol car and Whiston referred to Officer Kruger as an "Idiot" and stated she "works with idiots".The State Attorney's Office Dropped all Charges against Katie after reviewing the footage and evidence.A Formal Complaint was later filed with the City of Ocala against Whitston by a Store Employee regarding her outrageous and unprofessional conduct during the incident.
Corrupt Ocala Officer Richard Vieira Lies About Speed, Prolongs Stop, then Coerces Passenger Long_Ranger FL 2026-07-09 | A corrupt Ocala Police Officer with an Extensive and Sustained Disciplinary History including Untruthful Statements and Dishonesty from multiple Prior Departments (Marion County and Citrus County Sheriff's Offices) somehow finds a new job at Ocala PD after MCSO Terminated him. In this video he makes an unlawful pretext stop by "Pacing" a vehicle. Then lies to the driver about how fast he was going.Vieira's own Body Cam while following the driver proves he was not going 41MPH as claimed.Vieira immediately radios for a K9 Unit before even exiting his own vehicle or making contact with the Driver. He demands ID from the female passenger without any legal justification. Upon returning to his patrol car, he sits and waits for the K9 Unit instead of finishing his work on the underlying traffic ticket. 5 Other Officers swarm the vehicle totaling 6 Officers. An FHP Trooper even stands around for no apparent reason.While waiting, Vieira and another OPD Officer discuss and laugh about the appearances of the occupants and make comments about the particular neighborhood the Driver lives in.The Officers then go on a Fishing Expedition through the vehicle and personal belongings but never find anything illegal. Instead of completing the Stop, Vieira orders the female occupant back to his patrol vehicle and interrogates her about her personal and financial circumstances. He then coerces her with money to cooperate with OPD.After a Formal Complaint was emailed to Ocala PD Command and State Attorney's Office, the Ocala SAO reviewed and dropped many of Vieira's arrests where similar tactics were used. However, at time of writing Chief Mike Balkan has failed to take any known or meaningful action and Vieira is currently still employed.

For Full Body Cam with Audio Please see the other Video on my Channel))))On 09/08/2025 Rodney Sebastion Harmon entered a convenience store during a likely Diabetic Episode, believing himself to be the Owner of the Business. In a state of obvious impairment, he told store staff he owned the location and then remained outside calmly enjoying a beer and milk which he brought from inside but did not purchase. Store Staff believed him to be suffering from mental disorders and called Ocala PD for assistance but did not seek arrest. They simply wanted him off the property and to get the Mental Help he needed.However, within seconds of arrival and without giving any clear commands, Officer Whitston began grabbing Harmon, which seemed to further confuse him. Dalton Ower arrived at about the same time and slammed Harmon onto the ground, then taunted him while pinning him to the ground.Ower lied in the report claiming Harmon "Tossed the can of beer into the air" as in a deliberate effort to spill beer on the officers. However, Body Cam and Dashcam prove this did not occur. Ower and Whitston mocked, taunted, and laughed about Harmon throughout the encounter.Outrageously, when EMS Arrived on scene to check Harmon's Blood Sugar and Vitals, they advised the officers to transport Harmon to the Hospital. Instead, Ower and Whitston disregarded that instruction and transported him to Jail anyway. Whitston then continued to make mocking remarks to Harmon during transport. As of the time of Upload, Ocala State Attorney's Office has already dropped multiple charges. Unfortunately, Harmon is still currently charged with Felony "Battery On an Officer" and trial is set for 01/08/2026. Harmon could face up to 5 years in Prison (if convicted) for this Unfair and Unnecessary Charge.
