Another year later ImGP 2024-03-30 | A short film about the passing of time and making the most of it...As I get older, the scale of time becomes larger. The past year hasn't felt like a year, it's felt more like a few months. Professionally, I'm relatively satisfied. However creatively, I'm looking for something new. Work keeps me busy, yes, but is busy moving me towards my goals?My life currently revolves around saving money, cycling to work and an extreme amount of time management. I operate at the whim of others projects and goals and I often wonder when I'll set off on my own and go after what I want... but the paralyzing thought of, "how do I know what I want" begins to creep in... And that may be the fools question to answer, because how do you know what you want? There's no prescription, formula or worksheet that can answer this question. Many try, some to varying to degrees of success, but ultimately I don't believe it can be answered with the brain, instead the heart. In some ways, this film tries to show what words cannot express, through metaphors and juxtapositions, a passion for life and a thoughtful reminder of our insignificance.
