THE ONLY Basing Tutorial You Need. Make ANY Model Look Great. Snoddies Hobbies 2021-07-20 | Are you looking to base your D&D minis? Well, then today's video is going to go back to BASE-ics and show you the three steps I use to base D&D miniatures. I generally start by building up the base of my D&D mini and put large rocks and other focal points on the mini's base. Next, I'll blend all of this using different basing mediums and fine grit sand. This helps the dd mini blend into the base. Lastly, I finish the base of the D&D minis with static grass and other show stoppers. I for one am excited to be back and in this episode of Table Ready Gaming, I tackle some of the things that have been rolling around in my head. Changes in life because of the COVID 19 outbreak, coming to grips with the ugly truths of racism in our country and how it affects our hobby, and generally how to press on when nothing seems to be going to plan. SIMPLE and AFFORDABLE D&D Terrain- Goblin Huts! GREAT for Age of Sigmar and Tabletop Wargames! Snoddies Hobbies 2020-02-07 | For a while now my poor goblins have been living in dark dank caves, sleeping on the ground, hiding under rocks, and building traps in the Stalactites. This needs to change, looking at my Dungeons and Dragons Monster Manual I've realized that Goblins are intelligence 10 which is the same as a commoner in D&D. If peasants can build huts then why can't Goblins? Well, this week I fix my oversight and I do so with a cheap material I found in the dollar store, Easter Eggs. This project might be limited by seasonal availability but for the cost, I couldn't pass it up! Scare Your Players with a New Monster and a Simple Conversion. Snoddies Hobbies 2019-06-14 | This week I thought I'd try something a little different and am showing you how I created my blood elemental for my Dungeons and Dragons Games. Today's miniature conversion video is a painting tutorial that will show you how to build a homebrew monster that doesn't appear in the Monster Manual but will feel right at home in your D&D RPG. I got this idea from an Instagram post I saw a while back (I'm sorry I can't find the original post). The origin of this monster is at an old battleground that had a river running through it. Anyhow as the two armies killed each other the blood of the fallen ran into the river turning it red and corrupting the water elementals that lived there. I'm also a big fan of blood magic from Dragon Age and I imagine this is something a blood mage would summon to do their bidding. Ghost of Saltmarsh First Look Live Stream Snoddies Hobbies 2019-05-25 | This week I decided to do a quick live stream on Instagram as I perused through the Ghost of Salt Marsh. This stream is about an hour long and is pretty free flowing (which is just an excellent way of saying I'm jumping all over the place) I didn't have much of a plan when I started this stream. I spend most of my time looking at the nautical travel, combat, and ship types in the back of the book and don't spend any time on the published adventures. For me, this book is probably one of the best supplements launched for 5e, but my campaign is very heavily influenced by the sea, so this book arrived at the perfect time for me, I think the sea travel rules are worth the price of the book alone.
