I think this cover was originally made in 2023 before I remade it?As you know (or don’t), Maeko got her remade sprites and all DDEX characters got updated chromatics. What you don’t know is that originally, I had made a Your Copy cover in 2023 and had the gameplay laid out, but I…didn’t do it. In fact I didn’t do it long enough for Maeko and co. to get updated chromatics and sprites (well, only Maeko for now, Yuki’s still in progress I think). So in turn I remade this cover, and it’s much better. For one they sound distinct enough from each other but sound like their Doki counterparts (as they use the same samples (I think)), the Yuki and Natesha part sound like they’re actually fighting to sing, and there’s a bit more tension at the end.Do you remember the Headache cover? Or the Real Sleep one? If you don’t let me give you a refresher. These are my variants of Boyfriend and Girlfriend, Jackson and Aria. This time, Jackson’s sprite was built from the ground up along with using parts from the official FLAs, along with Aria getting her rehaul. [Baldi’s Basics & FNF Soft] Digital Hallucination || Animatic Luna Crystal 2024-03-24 | We are so backGod I love Baldi’s Basics*****Baldi’s Basics Plus had gotten an update back in February, bringing it back to the public eye. I was really happy, but it gave me an idea. An awful idea. I ended up making this sort-of AU with BBCR and Soft. While, scrolling through YT Shorts, I discovered this song (too late, that is), and decided “oh hey, this sounds like that AU I have!” and took a risk to make an animatic for it. I really wanted to stop at certain points because my hand hurt and I was tired, but I knew if I didn’t finish this immediately I wouldn’t finish it at all. And so I did. I did it. It took 3 YEARS—For reasons, I don’t really want to reveal what’s going to happen in the fic based on this AU, but this animatic happens during one of Pico’s attempts at Classic Style. I first drew the base storyboard in ibisPaint X (I’ve been using it for concepts recently), then drew the pieces in Clip Studio Paint, then put them in CapCut, and finally, put them to the song and used keyframes when necessary. It’s not as easy as it seems. It was agony, but I am proud of this thing. I actually wanted it to be a gameplay video because as I was making it with that in mind, as if it was some kind of epic fight scene. So, with some help, this video was made.This video specifically tells a story I wanted to do before as a cover; Mia, a girl who at first glance you wouldn’t suspect would hold her own in a fight, facing off against a dangerous opponent in order to save her friends. And new designs for BF and GF too, wow!So, after a bit of research, I couldn’t find a single cover with Alexis in them. I really liked Alexis in Bygone Purpose, so I tried making a cover with her in it. This is the second attempt, as the first attempt only had 27 seconds exported and I’m still salty about that. I don’t really have an explanation for them singing Headache, but for it being the old Headache, I had a previous build of Garcello’s mod and didn’t know it was the original Headache because mobile does not play OGG files and that’s really dumb. For the BF and GF designs: They’re sort of my own interpretations of them, and actually have names. Boyfriend is named Jackson and Girlfriend is Aria. I mainly edited the official FLAs for them, except Boyfriend/Jackson’s had some help since I was already losing my mind with them. For Girlfriend/Aria, I edited her’s to have a different leg position based on an image I found while scrolling Gamebanana out of boredom. Her hair is also redrawn. Then, after I got back into Ovenbreak, I had a realization: Black Garlic Cookie and White Ghost Cookie sing Game Over for a video.And thus, this remix was born. Using just the Ovenbreak soundfont and other sound effects.Unlike with Dream Team, I’m not very proud of this mix, I feel like the instrumental gets louder at random intervals, I tried voicing both cookies, didn’t like that, got random acapellas to be their chromatics, switched up the semitones for EVERYTHING, do the editing, the beginning bit—there was too much work and it needed to be finished or else it would fester. The only part of this that I can call my favorite is when Black Garlic Cookie is “hiding” from White Ghost Cookie while she’s trying to spook her.They are both my favorites in Ovenbreak even though I had no idea how I got Black Garlic Cookie’s pet when I redownloaded the game, so for them, is it worth it?Maybe. But unfortunately, I was struck with an idea to make a cover for FNF Lullaby’s Death Toll, because the second half, for some reason, reminded me of my least favorite deal maker! Not only that, when I mentioned this in my Discord server, I realized this fit.And I hated it.But I couldn’t get the idea out of my head. This is where the wifi thing comes into play. I couldn’t get it out of my head because Death Toll was like a lamp and I was the moth. The creepypasta itself makes me want to punt a fictional evil bell Pokemon and a demonic old man, I don’t like contracts in fiction (even though the contract thing was exclusively made for Death Toll; read the creepypasta to see what I mean), and the stigma for bad endings is still firmly in my brain, but. I did the vocal work (and the slide notes, they were so fun to do!) while they did the instrumental. I am borderline OBSESSED with the instrumental, it’s so fucking good!! I’m not sure how to explain the story of this, other than it’s basically Monika and the club driving Miyuki to the brink of…collapse. (BA DUM TSS)No but seriously they’re driving her insane.
