Robotaxi Rollout could go next level without safety drivers or safety monitors by the end of 2025. There should be more small pilots in LA, Arizona and Nevada. The Austin and SF Bay Area pilots will expand.
Hundreds of Cybercabs (dozens already testing) could enter roads in December or January as active betas. This should scale to thousands by Q1 2026. Full scaling should happen by March-April 2026 and they will not have humans driving them.

Very positive signal that many important things are going very well for Tesla
I am feeling very good about my prior video where I talked about Tesla shares going from $396 to $1000 by end of 2025 if everything goes perfect and very likely by middle of 2026.

Redlich's analysis involves estimating tokens (AI processing units) for tasks, but Wong focuses on "unlimited high-value" applications like fully automated AI coding, comparing it to robotaxis: Currently, it's like driver-assist (human coding with AI help), but full automation would create a "generalized system" with 100% accuracy through testing, eliminating probabilistic errors (referencing Jason Calacanis and others). This could generate unlimited value by making super low errors tested and validated software generated by AI.
Broader Implications: Chips in Everything That Moves. Every future car will need 1-4 inference chips (Elon specified four per vehicle), extending to bots, tractors, trucks, and anything that moves (echoing Nvidia's Jensen Huang). Not all need Tesla's $5k chips, but inference will be ubiquitous.
]
Energy equals intelligence equals wealth.
Physics fundamentals: Compute requires energy (reversible vs. non-reversible computing, with the latter generating heat), bound by unbreakable laws.Futuristic Vision: Unlimited Intelligence and Consumption. Elon's vision of capturing solar energy from Earth, Mars, and the Sun for computing, creating unlimited intelligence. AI won't just serve humans; advanced bots will consume resources like electricity and chips, mirroring human needs.
Pre-Industrial Revolution wealth was measured in horses/cattle/servants. Future equivalents are cars (horses) and bots (servants). As nanotechnology advances, physical objects become commoditized ("like potatoes"), but power and intelligence remain key.
Software becomes free, like today's open-source AI.
Chip Costs, Competition, and Vehicle Integration
TSLA hit $396. Fed rate cut (25bps Wednesday) could drive gains, as past cuts spurred $100 and $250 moves. With no recession, market rises expected. Catalysts: FOMO Monday, strong China sales Tuesday (potentially 4k+ Y Ls, blowing 430k Q3 consensus), leading to 15-20% upside. Resistances at 440/488/500; host predicts 440 next week, all-time highs by Oct 2. Wong sees potential for 600-700 by Oct/Nov on deliveries, FSD v14, Cybercab, energy. Without earnings growth or macro headwinds, pullbacks to 450-500 possible. Recent Tesla purchases signal demand rebound.Recap and Bullish Valuation (46:31–53:22)Nod to bulls like Redlich, Wong, Cern Basher. Tesla's potential: #1 in robots (biggest product ever), robotaxis (biggest revenue/profit), inference chips (#1 maker, possibly world's top product), motors/actuators (billions/year), stationary storage, electricity sales, transformers, trucking. Valuation (per Basher exercise): $3k/share now (just robotaxis/Optimus); with extras, much higher. If 1M Cybercabs next year + unsupervised FSD, could exceed 3k. Winners like Tesla keep winning (e.g., like GE, Microsoft, Apple expansions). The conversation ends on an explosive, mind-blowing note. The discussion is forward-looking, blending speculation with data, and highlights Tesla's interconnected ecosystem as unbeatable.

Totally worldchanging within 5 years.
The $17B EchoStar deal involves AWS-4 spectrum (H-block/S-band), enabling high-bandwidth satellite-to-phone globally.
EchoStar, an old-school geosynchronous satellite company. Has lost half its customers to Starlink's low-Earth orbit (LEO) constellation (8,000+ satellites). They are roadkill for SpaceX.
EchoStar failed to utilize the spectrum (FCC requires half-system launch within timelines). They sold it preemptively. SpaceX got $8.5B in EchoStar stock, boosting their value 20%.
In India and elsewhere, spectrum is a public resource. Underutilization leads to reallocation because the government auctions it to companies that will pay more and do more with it. If SpaceX is 100X more effective then the spectrum will get auctioned to SpaceX as the governments will get way more value by having the spectrum in competent hands.

SpaceX themselves said the throughput (comm speed) will go up 20 times and the capacity (how many users) will go up 100 times. SpaceX will own most of global communications and full 5G everywhere.
SpaceX wants Apple to cooperate instead of pursuing the C-3 constellation because the H-block and AWS-4 spectrum, that SpaceX is now acquiring from EchoStar, is not supported by any current phones. EchoStar’s Band 66 and Band 70 used different frequency pairings. Support from device manufacturers will be needed to get the new capabilities enabled by this spectrum into consumers’ hands in the near term. Of course if Apple doesn’t come around, then there’s always the possibility that SpaceX will announce a Starlink phone.

What really matters for Tesla is get Cybercabs mass produced using the new unboxed manufacturing process.
Tesla can go next level in car production, low cost vehicles with mass produced cybercabs with the new process starting in only 100 days. December 2025.
Cybercab itself is a gamechanging next level. It is designed exclusively for robotaxi and it will not use paint which saves 40% of the factory space using Sheet metal compound.
Unboxed process is going to a giant lego building process that can be 4-7 times faster than traditional manufacturing. This has taken years to develop and requires entirely new production using 48 volt architecture.
Tesla FSD has needed nearly a decade and FSD 14 with ten times the parameters and safer than human driving comes out in September. This month.
Those huge multi-year bets can payoff in volume next year.

Key benefits include massive cost savings—diesel trucks cost $1.50/mile, Tesla Semi ~$1.20/mile solo, ~$0.80/mile in a three-truck platoon (due to reduced driver needs, fuel efficiency, and higher utilization like 200,000+ miles/year), and down to $0.40–0.50/mile with full autonomy.
Robotrucking even compare robo-taxis: trucking has no price cliff after scale, constant ~$2.20/mile revenue, higher utilization (75–85%, 800–1,000 miles/day), and a $2+ trillion global market.
Projections show platooning with 100,000 vehicles yielding $28 billion/year in profit, full autonomy doubling that to $56 billion (adding ~$2,500/share to Tesla's stock at a 40 PE).
They discuss regulatory support (29 states allow driverless trailing trucks), Tesla's internal freight savings ($1 billion/year), global variations (e.g., higher rates in China due to fragmented markets), and broader impacts like lower goods costs and economic transformation.

Tesla Product Profit Comparisons
Cerns chart compares 5-year profits across Tesla products, adjusted for battery equivalents
Supervised FSD cars: ~2x car profit.
Energy products: ~2.5x car profit.
AI businesses:
Robo trucking ~48x car profit recurring ~$800k/year revenue, ~$2M 5-year profit
robotaxi ~78x car profit
Tesla-owned fleet (not partners like Pepsi); 1.5M-mile vehicle life; 50 mph average speed; 80-90% utilization; $2.20/mile revenue (national average, per reports); costs like tires ($0.10/mile), insurance/maintenance ($42k/year), SG&A/R&D ($50-60k/year).
Synergies: All AI businesses (robo trucking, robotaxi, Optimus) benefit from Tesla's ecosystem, including energy storage.

Robotrucks could generate 10x the profit of Tesla's Cybercab robo taxis, with each truck potentially yielding $650,000 in annual profit compared to $50,000–$70,000 per year for a robotaxi. This is driven by trucks' ability to operate 22 hours/day, covering 200,000–350,000 miles/year (4–7x more than taxis), while maintaining similar revenue per mile ($2–$2.60) and lower costs (32–34 cents/mile total ownership cost without drivers).
Production is ramping up to 50,000 units/year, and FSD is progressing rapidly.
Unlike robo taxis, which may face revenue drops competing with personal cars (down to 70 cents/mile), trucking is purely commercial with a stable $2 trillion global market.
This will drive massive Tesla valuation growth: conservative estimates add $3,000–$6,000 to share price by 2030, while capturing the full market could reach $80 trillion (including robotaxis) in share value. Optimus robots could further boost efficiency and demand by 4x, enabling new logistics and economic growth.

Key points:
The U.S. is entering a new era of manufacturing powered by automation, AI, and robotics, aiming to reshore production and increase efficiency.
Foxconn and Amazon have experimented with robotic automation for years, currently deploying tens of thousands of robots but aiming for more—especially humanoid bots to perform complex tasks.
Nvidia is at the technological center. They are partnering with over 20 humanoid robotics companies and providing platforms like Isaac and Omniverse for digital twin simulations and industrial design.
This will impact Geopolitics and policy.
Humanoids are seen as a game-changer because they can work in existing (“brownfield”) factories as well as new (“greenfield”) ones. For maximum impact, however, factories must be redesigned around robotic workflows, taking cues from Tesla’s modular, highly adaptable approach.
Digital twins—virtual simulations of factories and products—are stressed as essential for speeding up innovation and process optimization.

Tesla doubled the service area in Austin and might have tripled the number of vehicles from 11-15 to 35 in July, 2025. This means that Tesla has one third of the fleet compared to the 100 Waymo in Austin. Tesla will also add 10-15 this weekend in San Francisco. If Gene Munster is incorrect or early on the expansion of Austin, the San Francisco expansion should ensure Tesla gets to 30+ robotaxi this weekend. There will be a substantial expansion in 2 weeks as the service area is expanded to the entire city.

In two weeks, the Austin robotaxi area will expand again. Tesla will have robotaxi and unsupervised FSD for half the population of the US by end of this year. This would mean have the service in all major cities of Texas, California, Arizona and Florida and a few other states. The number of robotaxi cars will increase exponentially.
Sun belt states would be better places for robotaxi based upon weather. This would be Nevada, New Mexico, Georgia, Tennessee, Oregon and other states. AV hotspots like Georgia (Atlanta), Illinois (Chicago potential), and North Carolina (growing tech hubs). New York and Pennsylvania have urban density but stricter regulations, so they might be later additions.

If you were firing bullets at a bullseye target and were constantly missing to low and to the left. This would indicate a shooting bias that is missing the true bullseye target.
Attempting to predict the future and analyzing the results would reveal bias and divergence from truth alignment.
If you have complete AI knowledge that was aligned to reality then it would be better at correct predictions. It reveals missing knowledge.

This has become globally strategically important. The US is shifting to pro-nuclear energy policies. AI will leverage all energy sources starting with natural gas but also scaling nuclear energy, solar and batteries.
There will be a need to double or triple the amount of world energy by around 2050.
TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor) has projected (april 2025) that they will increase the volume AI GPUs by ten times. If each data center will need 2 kilowatts to power each of those chips, then we will go from 10 GW per year to 100 gigawatts per year to power the GPUs sold by TSMC in one year. The AI PCs and other inference systems will also increase the energy demand.
Copenhagen has plans to mass produce its nuclear power to meet this huge AI energy demand.

A Tesla Terawatt plan is a more focused XAI and Tesla Master Plan 4. It would be doubling the electricity generation of the USA for the purpose of powering a monster AI data center. The Terawatt goal is a smaller but still huge energy goal but it also involves scaling up AI chip production and AI memory production and AI data centers by about 100 times.
If this was attempted with 1000 nuclear reactors it would mean ten times more nuclear reactors than the US has now and about 20 times more than China has now. Cooling those nuclear reactors would need 7 million tons of water each minute. It would be a literal major river of water.
One billion chip AI data center would be a stepping stone to one trillion chips.
XAI is completing a one million chip AI data center in the next 12 months.

Tesla Scaling Robotaxi and Teslabot means getting millions of AI5 inference chips profitably deployed into the world.
Creating and having the most profitable AI businesses is the next goal for AI. Using the chips for maximum profit and maximum impact.
How is the Tesla roadmap for getting AI solutions at scale and what will those AI solutions be? And why are the AI chips the critical bottleneck?

UPDATE - Announcement that US Tariffs are down to 30 percent for China and China reduces tariff to 10 percent for the US. The positive China-US trade news is being viewed as great news for Tesla. This is just the start for Tesla with the robotaxi release in about 20 days and the new lower priced cars.
The U.S. will cut tariffs on Chinese goods to 30% (from 145%) for 90 days, while China will lower its levies to 10% (from 125%) for 90 days, according to US Treasury Secretary Bessent.
If Tesla scales robotaxi starting in June 1, 2025 then they will develop the only scaled self driving solution. Waymo and the China robotaxi only have about 3000 combined robotaxi vehicles.
Tesla can have 1000 times as many robotaxi in 2026.
Self driving cars can make taxi revenue by driving over 50,000 miles per year and make about $1 per mile in profit. Cars that make $50,000 per year starting in 2026 will drive demand for those vehicles.
The demand wave should start late in 2025.

Tesla Dojo 1 chips have small installed volume but Doge 2 and Doge 3 could surge in usage and production.
Dojo chips are and will be tuned and optimized for the XAI and Tesla AI workloads. If those become the best specialized option then DOGE become high volume is a matter of XAI and Tesla being the number one LLM model which should happen again this month with Grok 3.5 and then installing by far the most chips. The video lays out how this can happen and the volumes.

If we count full self driving and robotaxi as AI software then what is the most important physical product?
It is not the lower priced car models? Those will only add about 50% to revenue.
What could be the most important product for helping Tesla win the AI future and the AI future key battles are the second half of 2025, 2026 and 2027.
IN April 2024, at TSMC’s North American Technology Symposium, the company says Dojo’s next-generation training tile — the D2, which puts the entire Dojo tile onto a single silicon wafer, rather than connecting 25 chips to make one tile — was already in production.
In July , 2024 AI5 is ~18 months away from high-volume production. This would be end of 2025.
In March 2025, Elon said that the Tesla Dojo 2 chip will be in volume production in a few months. The Tesla Dojo 2 chip has ten times the performance of the Dojo 1. If Tesla Dojo 2 is ten times better than the Dojo 1 training chip then it would be 3.6 petaflops for fp8. This would be several time better than the Nvidia H100 and maybe 40% of the B200.
Tesla Dojo 3 in late 2026.

Moore's law was computers getting twice as fast every two years.
AI LLM world of the last 15 years averages 5 times more compute each year.
Now 50-180 times the compute this year. 8 years of Moore's Law in one year. 3-4 years of AI scaling.
AI could give us 20-60 years of software change with 1000 to 1 million times the productivity over 3 years.
