Matthew Barrett discovered and then tweeted the Wikipedia biography of British army officer Sir Adrian Carton de Wiart that puts all other biographies/people to shame. For starters, the lieutenant-general fought in three wars, including WWI and WWII, was shot in the face, head, stomach, ankle, leg, hip and ear and wore an eye patch. This truly most interesting man in the world, who both survived a plane crash and escaped a POW camp, has become a social media sensation.
