Michael Leonard 2020-05-25 | It was April 13th of 2020 that I was looking for interesting places to link to for my 2020os (http://cyberspaceandtime.com) website when I came across a site called https://worldometers.info. It shows live information of all sorts and I had noticed that the world population was hours away from reaching 7 777 777 777. I just happen to love round number so I decided if I were awake at the time, I'd record it live. When I woke up the next day I was certain it had already passed, but lucky for me, it was just a few minutes to go. So I set up the recorder and started to play my Padlock game waiting for the moment. It's amazing how fast things are changing, it felt like yesteryear that we hit 7 billion. _P.S. The browser environment is a great open and safe place to root a new user based system that utilizes the GPU along side the CPU for its everyday tasks that are most often limited to the CPU only. I had to reinvent the wheel in some regards, but things are all the better for it. Ken Script 2.5 May 17th 2010 p2 Michael Leonard 2013-07-02 | Ken Script was transforming from a JavaScript library into a preprocessor like language like that of c/c++. I didn't hold on to the #include and #define commands long, for there would have been confusion when using my preprocessor directives on c/c++ projects when the directives were identical. I later on went with the tilda ~ and the tick as server side directives and client side directives respectively. This video is not demonstrating anything practical, but I upload it for documentation purposes.

Server side assist for mouse-lock before HTML5 included it natively Michael Leonard 2013-02-12 | This is an early WebGL experiment using my Kenxsys server solving a first person camera issue; The issue being that your mouse will normally hit the edge of your screen and fail to register any further directional movement in that direction. The server constantly listens to mouse movements, then sends the distances to the web page, then resets the mouse cursor to prevent it from reaching the edge of your screen. Recorded March 26th 2012

3D CSS â–ª Youtube in orbit around Youtube Michael Leonard 2012-11-10 | I finally found out that 3D CSS is available on Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, which is enough for me to start using it in my website projects. WebGL is another 3D engine now available in modern browsers, but it is mainly just graphics, rotating a whole website is a bit of a challenge, but now with 3D CSS plus WebGL, anything is possible.This is all done inside the web browser.
Ken Script - Window Programming, Step 2 - Adding a border - RAW / Unedited video. Michael Leonard 2012-10-22 | This video starts where the last one ends. I first change the top left corner of the window to 25%, which centres the window. Then I plugin the window border code file, so that I have access the add re sizable border function. I add a border to the newly created window, but the background colour prevents the border to be noticeable. So, I use java script to change the background colour to a light blue. Now that there is a higher level of contrast between the background and the border, I add and remove the border, showing what it looks like, with or without it. *Note 1 - This is a RAW/Unedited video of the working beta version. Released version will have changes/improvements. *Note 2 - This video was recorded at the 1080p resolution, so if you have a small screen with lower resolution, you will not see the video the way it was intended. The only fix would be to record a cropped or zoomed in version at a lower resolution, I will post those versions at a later time. *Note 3 - rgb is short for red green blue, the three colours that the monitor makes in combinations to create all the colours of rainbow). Ken Script - Window Programming, Step 1 - RAW / Unedited video. Michael Leonard 2012-10-22 | First thing you will notice is two windows, opened side by side, one is the running program which I'm making, and the one to the right is a Notepad or text editor which allows me to change/make the program. Both are working/using the same file. I start of by plugging in the required window code library, which it self loads a multitude of other code files. ~plugin is one of most important commands in the Ken Script language. Next, I create a new Desktop window, which would be the first level window in an operating system. all other windows will be embedded into the Desktop. Then I tell the program to place the newly created window to the top left corner, and to have the width and height to have 500 and 200 pixels respectfully. I use the F2 key on my keyboard to save the file, then I refresh my program. I then change the px symbol (which is short for pixel), and change it to the percent sign, save/refresh my program, and the newly created window now takes on 50% width and height. When using percentages, the window will be that percentage, even while resizing it. Using pixels, the window will stay that size, with or without resizing. That's it for that video. All windows start with something that looks like a blank layer. *Note 1 - This is a RAW/Unedited video of the working beta version. Let it be cool Michael Leonard 2012-05-14 | Let it be cool 2.0 WebGL version.3D graphics is probably the last thing you would expect to find when visiting a new web site. WebGL or Web Graphics Library is basically a clone of something called OpenGL.Most triple AAA game developers use OpenGL or DirectX or both. So having this hardware accelerated ability within the web browsers is pretty cool in my books. But as awesome as it is, there are some stumbling blocks.According to Google's webmasters guideline, Google does not index WebGL web pages, which will enviably put all those awesome projects in a disadvantage compared to the older html style grandpa pages.There is also an issue of WebGL textures being extra cautious with their origins, preventing any linking in of external photos or videos; Which is a bummer and kind of weird since the older 2D canvas allows it.I have been working on a hybrid (HTML + WebGL) web page engine as of late. 4th Youtube Glitch â–ª Channel description editing failure. Michael Leonard 2011-12-12 | When Youtube updated their interface and forced everyone to use it, I noticed that my recent description of my channel was reverted to a much older one I made months earlier and completely discarded my new one. I wish Youtube would allow people to choose which interfaced they like and keep it. What's wrong with being backwards compatible and having multiple interfaces to the same video collections? What do you guys think?
3rd Youtube Glitch â–ª Subscribers inconsistency. Michael Leonard 2011-12-12 | When I go to the second page of the subscribers section of my channel, I get a different number of subscribers. One page one, I see that I have 43 subscribers.One page two, I see that I have 42 subscribers.Hey Youtube, can you please sort the subscribers by date that they subscribed to me?Thanks, that would be most useful.
