But let me tell you - it's a b**** to get off! I was scrubbing for AGES. I had to use some coconut oil to remove it. TOO UGLY FOR YOUTUBE (STORYTIME) Hannah Leigh 2016-07-20 | Storytime for you today guys! So I got into an argument with a viewer.. Here's why. Plus how to deal with hate and general life advice. Please OPEN ME for information I forgot to include. This video was unscripted and I forgot to say certain things.Hey guys, hope you're all having a great week!I'm sure some of you are surprised that I made this video.1. I get hate on a daily basis so why talk about this one incident2. I kind of make myself look shitty in this story with my responsesThe reason I made this video is to get across the point that you shouldn't take crap because your a target. Anybody can be a target.A girl who has acne, a boy who wears make up, black, white, gay, straight, male, female. Anybody can be a target.I have always believed that it is important to teach people from a young age that you should stick up for yourself and what you believe in. I also think that if you don't stick up for yourself you become EVEN MORE of a target. This is something my parents taught me about bullies back in my childhood, if you stick up to them they will eventually leave you alone. Something I practised at school.I chose to talk about this one instance as it is a great example of the kind of situation I will defend myself in vs. a situation where I would say 'Okay cool, thats you're opinion. I'll take it on bored.'Comments such as 'This video could be edited better,' 'You're eyeshadow needs blending out a little more' or even 'The audio quality of this video is awful' would all be acceptable/welcome criticisms. These are things I can work on to generally improve. I actually like comments like this, it helps me develop as a person and content creator.HOWEVER, the comment 'You're face is wonky. Your mouth and nose are crooked and your eyes are too un-level. You should fix that.' is not a comment I welcome kindly. There are a few reasons for this. This is not something I can change. The person writing this knows that. They are saying it to be down right passive agressive and bitchey. It is also so unecessary to bring somebody down for no reason. ESPECIALLY for the way they look. Women are judged on the way they look ALL THE TIME and I'm sick of it. This is why depression and eating disorders are such a problem in this country. Probably also the reason for plastic surgery sales increasing rapidly by the year.THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Do not comment negatively on somebody's appearance EVER. Especially if it is something they are unable to change. Instead, look at yourself and ask why you're so full of critique and negativity. I would also like to apologise for some of my comments. I fillmed this video unscripted and tend to not get point across well when I'm passionate and speaking in the moment. Swearing was not necessary. It is honestly just how I am, probably behaviour I learnt from my Dad (lol) we tend to swear quite a lot where I'm from and is often a show of endearment. And although I was saying it tongue-in-cheek I can see why it wouldn't be taken that way.
