New Aquarium Build - Start to Finish!

Also the story behind why I adopted one single white cloud:
Petco is a place I typically do not buy fish (for many reasons) but I stopped in to see if they had any tissue culture plants which they occasionally do. Passing by the tanks, I noticed in an especially dirty tank with some large angels, some discus and this tiny little white cloud with quite a few torn up fins (his tail was basically missing) and almost no color. I snatched him up and brought him home and within a couple days, he had become this beautiful gray-purple color and his fins began growing back almost immediately. I only had this one tank set up aside from my 40C, so it's serving as somewhat of a quarantine until he's 100% ready to be moved to the big tank with the other white clouds so as to not jeopardize the health of my other fish.

40C Scape Maintenance + New Fish!

Lizzie Block 2019-01-07 | This week, I added a small shoal of 24k Gold White Cloud Mountain Minnows and some new plants to the scape. 4 weeks old today! Plus how it's maintained to avoid algae issues... more water changes!
