mkuebler5 2023-01-30 | Hi everyone, Im finally feeling good enough to be out exploring and this is technically an abandoned explore. Because I may have found an old unmarked grave which you could say is abandoned plus Im exploring old gold mining digs up in the hills that looks to have been abandoned way back after the gold rush days of where I went.
Then I decided to do a bit of under water exploring with my gopro just because I can. I was surprised at how clear the footage actually came out because all I could see was green and maybe a tortoise here and there.
I got a bit concerned half way down the river that I was going to smash myself on the rocks the water was going alot faster than I thought.
How many tortoises did you see? Do you think I found and unmarked resting place?
Did you find the gold digs interesting?
Im so excited to be able to bring you guys another video after such a long break and poor health.

Abandoned? possibly? 5 months after the Lismore flood 2022

mkuebler5 2022-07-26 | I've filmed this place as a record as to how things are still after the devastating Lismore floods that occurred 28 February 22.
Don't anyone come at me about trespassing or showing lack of respect for flood affected people because i filmed this with all due respect and know full well what it has been like for alot of people who have lost everything as i have been through the same and lost everything i own in the same flood.
Any vile comments are going to be removed because I am recording this for people to see what it's still like in this town.
I have not touched any personal items nor have I showed any names or shown any lack or respect while I was videoing this explore as I do realise this is still someone's belongings.
The house was open and i am not the first to be in there as seen when I focus on a fire someone has lit at some point.
It's extremely sad that no one has been back to even try to see if they could salvage anything and it looks untouched.
This is real and on going for people in this town and it needs to be out there for people to have an understanding of how devastating it has been where people are still living in tents under their houses or worse.
The cover picture is the house before the flood to give you an idea of what it once looked like.

Surprise find I wasnt expecting and left me feeling radioactive

mkuebler5 2022-06-20 | I had no idea what I was going to find and I found a little bit more than i wanted too. After I got home id di some searching and found that Id stubbled across an old arsenic mine the was highly contaminated and left me feeling slightly radioactive.
The thing I don't understand is why was the a whole flock of sheep in the mine enclosure if it's has been glassed as highly contaminated when people are going to eat them eventually??
That is a little concerning to me.
I did find some cool stuff there though so lets have a look.

I've never made it before but hay, Lets give it a try.
It's ver similar to my traditional german potato salad just roasted so what could go wrong, right?
I've got not measures or recipy so just watch what im doing and make your own. You can change it to suit yourself.
This is usually made with boiled potato's but Im not giving a shite and it tastes ok to me.

What can I say really? my whole world as I know it has changed and im almost broken because of it.
As some of you are aware I have lost everything in the Lismore floods that totally wiped the town and surrounding villages and almost did it again only 4 weeks later so I have been busy trying to make sense of it while trying to keep my sanity.
It's been extremely hard both physically and mentally to try and get through this and I was ready to walk after the second flood reared it's ugly head. I don't know what the future holds for me but right now I have to try and sort out the mess that is.
I look a mess I know. I havent shaved since the first flood back in late feb. I've lost a lot of weight as a result of not eating. I've only just brought a laptop and have had to deal with bad phone reception etc. It's a nightmare right now and hearing rain at night is just anxiety inducing to the point of not being able to sleep at all because of ridiculous fear of waking up in knee deep water. I could go on but I think you get the picture. I've put together a few different clips that I have collected since the flood just to give you an idea of what has happened here. I also downloaded a free version of my editing soft ware so excuse the watermark. I don't have any of my old stuff from my old laptop so everything you see is very raw.
Since i lost everything including my camera and my external hard drives I doubt I will be doing any explores again for a while and what I did have saved is now gone. My channel has now changed because of circumstances beyond my control so that could mean the end of my channel because all i'll be posting now for awhile will be house renovation vids. If my description sounds all over the place it's because I am mentally.
I'm lucky that dylan was not home when the flood happened. I'm lucky that the neighbour across the street had two kayaks he tied together to get us and the dogs to safety. I'm extremely grateful that non of the dogs freaked out while hauling them over the veranda railing and placing them into the kayak because I feel sick to my stomach thinking of what might have happened
Im grateful that we got out safe. I'm grateful the house didn't get swept of it's foundations like some I have seen. I'm grateful for all the people that have been there in our time of need with offers of food and shelter. I'm grateful for all the volunteers that saved so many from roof tops. I'm grateful for the ADF for the help they have provided to so many as well as the fire brigade and countless others that have provided support.

Let me start by apologising for having to look at my foot most of the time but they'd disappear if I removed my foot. I have been coming to this river for a few years now and realised there were shrimp here.
Im surprised to see so many of them and some of them so big as well.
This river "The boyd" had suffered greatly after our devastating bush fires and the amount of ash and debris washing into it post fires and it was good to see it so healthy once again.

I decided to explore Boonoo Boonoo falls and Bald Rock Tenterfield during my weekend away. Tenterfield area has recently had a huge amount of rain thankfully after so many years of drought so I wanted to see how Boonoo falls was flowing and it didn't disappoint because every other time I have been there it has been dry as a bone. It's a shame the camera doesn't pick up the amorous scale of the falls but good to be able to capture them in all their glory. The it's off to Bald mountain to attempt the climb which I was expecting to be a bit more difficult but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I did chicken out once up the top though and didn't quite make it to the edge of the mountain but I got closer than I thought I would so that's a win win for me but Darn you vertigo. I still got to enjoy a wonderful view. Lots of great camping areas at both Boonoo Boonoo falls and at Bald rock with easy access for caravans and trailers.

I told this video a while back on a different phone so sorry about the quality.
Secondly Its a shame Im not getting more views on my videos considering I have nearly 20 thousand subscribers and dismal views which is a shame because ever since I got demonetised by youtube my channel has suffered to a point im not really making anything from my videos. Not even close to just filling up my car with fuel when I got out exploring.
As such I will now just do videos as I find them of just videos of me having a chat about what ever is on my mind.
Thank you to my followers that have been watching my videos regularly I really appreciate it. Just like to say as well that be weary of people that have crazy amount of views compared to their subs, usually means they have their own videos on loop all day to wrought the system. Just saying.

Italian influenced cemetery in Far North Queensland, Australia
Sorry for the amount of "stunning" used in this video but I was definitely not expecting to find this cemetery and as you can hear and see I was totally blown away.
The cemetery is well maintained and it was odd that it just appeared in the middle of sugar cane fields but Im not complaining because it was absolutely beautiful.

Bruce Arthurs artist colony Dunk Island abandoned, and more

mkuebler5 2021-06-10 | Thanks for joining me for a walk around this wonderfully magical island exploring both the island and showing you some of the resort that is now destroyed after a cyclone (hurricane) hit it in 2017.
I fell in love with this island and the mainland way back in 1989 when on holiday with my partner of 8 years. Unfortunately he was killed suddenly just after Christmas in 89 and couldn't make the move with me to live back up there was I went anyway in late 1990 and even though I had to leave I still feel like it's my home.
The resort does still have people there maintaining what is still there so unfortunately I wasn't allowed in due to safety reasons.
I explore the islands tropical rainforest before finding the abandoned artist colony which I might add was an adventure in itself and I did ask permission to try and find it from one of the care takers on the island so anyone out there wanting to find this place, you do need permission as you do have to walk through private property.
I'd heard that most of the colony had been pulled down years ago was I wasnt expecting much. Maybe some old foundations and torn down timbers but I certainly was not expecting to find what I did and I was totally blown away by what I'd found.

I'd love it if you gave fr a little walk around this cute little cemetery only about ten minutes from home and a cemetery that I didn't even know existed hidden away between farms and an entrance that is so easy to miss.
The cemetery isn't abandoned as I'd thought and appears to still do burials.
Unfortunately I couldn't find much on this cemetery and as it happens it's hard to find much historic information on early cemeteries because up until the 60's cemeteries were managed by either undertakers or the church and as a result a lot of information has been lost which is no help to me at all.
That being said, it was a nice day to walk around and explore the graves. The earliest I found was 1889.

Cancer update and how Im feeling. A record

mkuebler5 2021-02-05 | So, here i am up dating on how im travelling with my cancer journey.
Not terribly happy one but one good thing is im still stable.
Sorry if this may come across as dramatic and maybe there are those of you out there watching that will say suck it up but since this will be a record of my cancer journey I've posted where im at emotionally.
the last few months havent been the greatest emotionally and im beginning to wonder how much stress i can endure. I have no money coming in, I have a car the is going to cost me thousands to fix. I cant get a job because if I do then I cant claim a benefit that I will need for when the cancer starts up again and then I will have no energy to try and fight to get benefits when Im sick. I feel stuck right now and its the pits.
I know how Im feeling will pass but man!, i don't see it atm.
Having "terminal" tagged on yourself is a bit of a headf...
As I've said these update health videos will be my own personal record to record the different stages of this gawjuss journey Im on.
Im doing this now for me bare bones and all.
I look like sh!t and feel like it too.

Stunning transformation of 50s Bondwood. Wait until you see inside.

mkuebler5 2021-02-04 | Well, looks like I'm almost finished restoring Barbara to her former glory.
She is beautiful and I couldn't have imagined how stunning she would turn out when I first started this project.
There was times when I thought I'd bitten off more than I could chew and lack of knowledge some times became all too much that I just had to walk away at times but I did it and did it I certainly have.
Considering I knew absolutely nothing about restoring an old bondwood van apart from how to strip paint and sand and looking back on the condition Barbara came to me in I think I blitzed it.
I still have a little ways to go before she is finished completely but my car blew a gasket right at the time I needed to replace the wheel hubs on Barb but she is now going to have to sit idol in the driveway until i have money again.
Oh well,

Romantic mountain chalets abandoned in the Australian rainforest

mkuebler5 2021-01-21 | I found an abandoned mountain retreat recently so lets go exploring.
After I'd explored this place and headed for my car I spotted a sign hidden behind some trees so was able to try and find out about it just a little.
They were advertised as romantic mountain chalets with a restaurant which explains the first building that i found. it appears that it didn't last long and seems the owner once had a website but it is no longer operating from 2007. Because of the amount of things still left in the chalets as they were advertised, ive decided not to say the name of the place or where it is located to protect what is there so that vandals dont go wrecking the place.
Seems from the small amount of info that I could find that it sits on 15 acres that is now being reclaimed by the forest.
Sorry the video cut out so quick, my battery died at the end.

Abandoned : Stunning 5 bedroom Mansion in the forest

mkuebler5 2020-12-10 | Hi folks, come join me while I explore this stunning abandoned mansion I found in the forest.
It appears that this house was purchased as part of a land grab to restore the rainforest that it sits in along with a few other houses.
the house appears to have been built in the eighties all out of timber and it is a perfect example of eighties architecture that is sadly now being vandalised. I have recently seen some photos of this place from 2016 and back then there was still most of the fittings and furniture still present but as we explore through the house you will see that there isn't much left of them. The rainforest is doing a great job of growing back and it all looks very beautiful. What will happen to the house? Who knows maybe it will just rot away back into the rainforest but I cant see it being used to house anyone again. Maybe it will be salvaged? Who's to know?

I've just decided to have a bit of fun with this video for you to enjoy as well as myself after a couple of horrible years with my cancer battles.

Come for a back road drive to Tenterfield, nsw, Australia

This video is not meant for anything except to just sit back and enjoy as I drive one of my favourite back roads to a town called Tenterfield out west from me.
Not much talking from me because I didn't want to distract from the drive plus I wasn't feeling like talking.
If you have an hour or so to spare then come join me while I drive country nsw with hardly a person in sight and just some pretty countryside to enjoy.
It may seem like I'm driving fast but I can assure you that I never got over 60km hr.
Some of you guys asked for more of my roadtrip and countryside so you got it.
Enjoy and maybe some of you will actually watch it right threw.
I did end up finding a couple of abandoned places to explore on this road trip so you are getting to see what happens behind the scenes before I get to my explores.

Seems if you put your sd card in sightly the wrong place in gopro hero then it wrecks your gopro.

Abandoned : Early Australian settlers cottage in the country

Discovered while I was out driving recently.
Just sit back and enjoy the look around this old old house while I try to navigate the giant holes in the floor.
I dont think the main part of this house will be standing for too much longer due to the amount of termite damage present in the house.
Just a cool little, unexpected find beside the road.

Im sorry about the low buzzing noise in this video. Seems I screwed my gopro up by putting the sd card in the wrong spot and it's now rooted which is a shame. Seems it is an issue with gopro hero .
I've tried to correct the buzzing as much as I could in editing but thats the best I could do.
If anyone would like to help me out so I can purchase a new one I'd be greatly appreciative and you're the best.

Abandoned : When things dont go as planned

mkuebler5 2020-10-29 | I filmed this place a while back on a very grey, rainy day and things didn't go as planned.
The house sits on a hill in the middle of a cow paddock and a friend told me about it so I decided I'd check it out.
I was surprised to see that so much personal items had been left behind and was interested in what else i'd find.
I didn't get the chance because the house was wired to an alarm which I found interesting considering the state of the place.
Needless to say I had to high tail it outta there and run which was a hoot running through a muddy cow paddock, in the pouring rain dodging cow pats in my thongs (flip flops)
What a hoot.

Barbara Bondwood Caravan restoration part #6

Gosh, when I looked back on the previous update video I didn't realise how much I've actually achieved on Barbara.
Barbara is starting to really look stunning even if I do say so myself.
Main hold up is the sink and until I can get hold of it and see if it will actually fit Im stuck but Ive got so much more to do.
I've tried to fill you in as much as possible with what I've done and what I've used or where I've purchased things from but if anyone wants to know anything in particular just leave me a question in the comments section or just leave me a comment as to what you think of Barbara's progress.

Camping, Cancer, Confusion and an Abandoned cemetery

I give a bit of an update on my health and show you around Dalmorton's Abandoned cemetery before I give you a tour of my camp.

It has been my first time away properly since my last health update from the doctor and I didn't realise how stressed I actually sounded while editing this video. I'm glad I managed to get the time away now.

Abandoned : Last train to no where

mkuebler5 2020-09-24 | abandoned train station and train that I actually used to ride on when I was in my teens down from the blue mountains to Sydney, Australia.
I filmed this a while back but as with a lot of my videos, I never really thought it was that great but after passing this place again recently on another one of my roadtrips and seeing how much the whole place as deteriorated and vandalised I thought I'd upload it so people could see what it looked like before it was too late. Seems people are now stripping the features from the station to use on their places that are popping up every where near here. All the wood work and trims are now gone so Im happy I did film it when I did.

I drove past this as it was slightly tucked away off the main road but had to go back to see what it was all about. I was surprised to find what I did but it's a shame the main house is now long gone. Still lots to see the more I looked around and I got some idea of what may have once been there. Barbara Bondwood Caravan restoration part #6

mkuebler5 2020-09-03 | It's time for an update on Barbara's restoration progress.
So much behind the scenes work has been done like sanding and sanding and sanding and painting and fiddly stuff like cleaning door hinges etc.
It is nice to see some of the fittings now happening inside and even though I still have a way to go , it's good seeing things falling into place. I've tried to show what I've used in different processes but if anyone wants to have any questions answered about something I may have missed then just leave me a comment. The main thing holding up my progress now are the electrician and the welder guy. After they have done their bit I think things will start happening a lot quicker.

Abandoned Alternate way of live

Come join me while I explore this old hippie compound that is now rotting into the ground.
I stumbled across it yesterday while out looking for a sink for my camper as some of you know I restoring.
I was just sitting at home and I got this great urge to just head out to look for a sink but instead I found this abandoned place behind the caravan I was interested in that I thought may have the said sink. Im happy because I found this place and also got to find and salvage some door knobs I've been looking for for my van's restoration. I thought I'd film it since I was there and it is abandoned right?
No one said it always has to be an abandoned house. Anyway, I hope you just enjoy coming along with me. Enjoy and have a great weekend.

Abandoned grandmas house everything left inside. Looks like she never came back home

mkuebler5 2020-07-16 | youtube.com/watch?v=qqZPxA7UyJ0This abandoned house is a sad reflection on someones life and what their worldly possession mean once they are no longer around to enjoy them.
I was told about this place about a year ago and I finally got the chance to explore it this week.
I wasn't expecting to see what I did see as soon as I looked inside and it just kept getting more and more saddening the more I walked through the house seeing that this once lovely home is being destroyed by curious kids and even more so by the possums that have taken over the house.
When I arrived to explore the house there was a group of four teenagers looking around inside so I'm thinking that this place will become more and more popular with kids wanting to check it out and cause more and more damage.
From what I can make out, it looks like the lady living there may have gone into hospital and never came back home. It looks like some one had made an attempt to lock the house up originally from the locks placed on the outside of the front door and boards on the kitchen door but im assuming the lady has died and the house is now falling into a state of ruin. I will be calling the local historical society to see if something can be done to preserve the items inside the house.
There was so much to see I was almost overwhelmed by the amount of stuff left in the house and didn't know where to look so I've probably missed so much.
The house is now starting to collapse and certain sections on the back of the house are falling down. Please excuse my breathing in certain parts of this video. If you are a follower of my videos then you'll understand why.
Im glad the camera picked up so much more detail than I could actually see hence me trying to show as much as I could but also moving quickly just in case you couldn't see anything because it was dark. Abandoned sugar cane farm house

mkuebler5 2020-07-09 | This abandoned house was one of my first explores but I was never really that happy with the video so it sat in my files all this time until I decided to go back and refilm it.
I have to say second time around I noticed how much it had deteriorated since my first visit. I was able to walk up the back and front stairs without any worry but now you can see it is a very risky thing to be attempting either stairs but I did for the viewing pleasure of my viewers.
Im not sure why it was abandoned because I couldn't really find anything that might have made people leave. Maybe it was an old farmer guy that passed on and had no relatives? Who knows, just enjoy the video. Leave a comment and give me a thumbs up.

Barbara bondwood caravan restoration Part 5 plus my cancer update

mkuebler5 2020-07-03 | Hi, time for an update on restoring Barbara my 50's bondwood caravan.
So many processes involved have been far more time consuming than I'd expected but things are looking good for Barbara considering the state she was in when I got her. Lots of sanding. Lots of painting and painting and sanding but I've finally got all the plywood cladding on and all the prep work sorted for final paint on the interiors. It is all looking great and I'm more than happy with how this restoration has turned out and I'm glad I didn't gut the interior and left this van as original as I could. Thanks for watching and I added on my update of my cancer situation at the end. Im a bit in shadow because I could see a screen when I turned the camera around but you can see enough. Thank you all once again for your prayers and well wishes. I truly appreciate them all.

Abandoned old school memories in country Australia

mkuebler5 2020-06-25 | Hi everyone, come join me exploring this abandoned old school. Unfortunately I couldn't get in to the building but you could see a lot of what was inside plus I just love the old toilets that the pupils once used and the whole place reminded me very much of my first school that once housed classes from 1st class to 7th class in one building. I did this explore a while back but after looking at it again decided to upload it for you all to see as some of you not in Australia might find it interesting to see what old school buildings in Australia were once like in small towns. It bought so many memories back for me and the country side is absolutely beautiful.
