Traveling light with DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro Julian C 2025-01-04 | I am a huge fan of the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, but there are some situations where Pocket 3 is not a suitable camera. On those trips, I take a GoPro Hero 11, 12 or 13 Black with me too. But when I need to travel with a very lightweight video kit, one that I hardly notice in my bag at all, yet still delivers excellent video and audio quality, thats when Osmo Action 5 hits the stage. Travelled frequently with Osmo Action 5 pro in the past few months. It is an ideal travel video camera that can be used in all conditions and for just about any activity. Best Camera for Travel Vlogs? Julian C 2024-05-30 | I have been using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, the Insta360 X4 and the GoPro Hero 12 for vlogging while traveling over the past few months. All of them have their pros and cons. This is a quick video to capture my thoughts on which is the 'best' vlogging camera while out and about, walking and talking. This is filmed entirely on Osmo Pocket 3 from DJI, in full auto mode 4K 24fps. All audio is from the DJI Wireless Mic 2, wind filter activated, microphone under my clothing. Headline - my favorite vlogging camera is not the Pocket 3, although the image quality from Pocket 3 exceeds any other action camera system.

Turn on the Anti Dust feature on Sony A7CR and A7CII cameras - works every time you power off Julian C 2023-12-01 | The latest Sony cameras including the Sony A7CR and Sony A7CII can be set to close the shutter every time you turn the camera off. This means that the sensor is protected from dust whenever you change the lens. This is not activated by default so when you buy the camera it will not work. You need to go in the menus to set it up, how to do that is explained and shown in this video. Sony have taken their time adding this to their cameras, Canon have been doing it since the original Canon EOS R camera many years ago. The shutter is very delicate so this does put more risk that the shutter gets damaged but so long as you are not touching it, this is a great way to reduce significantly the amount of dust that can get on your sensor. Sensor dust for photography is removable, it just takes some patience to do it manually in post production. If you are making video however it is much more difficult and annoying to have to deal with, I am very glad that Sony have added this feature to these latest Sony cameras.

Touch and hold the Max Lens Mod On option on the settings screen, then scroll UP to see Max Lens Mod 2.0. Once you have done this once it will be easy to toggle the Lens Mod 2.0 on and off with just one touch on the Settings screen.
