This exploit involves using Knuckles's special ability, which makes him go up in the air a bit before coming down with an attack. If you pause the game after doing Knuckles's special attack, it will be cancelled and you retain whatever momentum you have at the time of pausing (and go into a normal falling state). After cancelling his special, you are then able to use another special whenever you please, thus allowing you to stack this as many times as you want which leads to an infinite amount of height to gain. This allows you to sequence break the game like there's no tomorrow, for example you can go to Bygone Island as soon as you first arrive at Cliff's Excavation Site (without even talking to Cliff, as the plane will be there for your departure). This means huge time saved for anyone thinking about doing a speedrun of this game (or who just wants to mess around), as well as a broken tool for mass exploration. You'll know if you got it right because the difference in height between hitting the right timing and being too late is very noticeable. The goal is to have your character running towards West Retem when the loading screen comes up. There are alternative ways to do this (you can even do it from the Retem side), though the method shown in this video can be done the same no matter what you play on or how you play (afaik, feedback for different versions appreciated for anyone who may be on console). Sonic the Hedgehog (360): Silver the Hedgehog - Shadow - Speed Run (015983) DarkspinesSonic 2020-09-18 | Today is my 30th birthday, and I usually try to upload a video on my birthday so here it is. Theoretically the best time possible without finding an earlier hit or some new tech, this is a series of 6 frame perfect kicks landed on Silver as Shadow. The first hit is done in such a fashion that he sits instead of falls, since his get up animation is faster from sitting vs. lying down. The concept for knowing if you're doing the fight optimally is simple, if you hear Shadow's spin kick but you get grabbed you were too early. On the other hand if you don't hear the spin kick and get grabbed you were too late. If you hit Silver and are thrown at the same time you were 1 frame too late. Also make sure to do a moving spin kick as opposed to a stationary one, otherwise your hits won't land. One thing to note is that Silver can be hit into a sitting position on 2 different frames at the beginning of the fight, so it is possible to do this strat and not realize you are 1 frame slower than what's shown in this video. As a note, if you were to head back up the sewers after viewing the cutscene with Leslie, it would send you to the initial cutscene of Chapter 14 (and from there you'd do the entirety of chapter 14 as normal). However, you can just complete the objectives in order from the Leslie cutscene, which will skip everything that takes place prior to it. Enjoy! ^_^
Final Fantasy VII Remake - Endless Fleeing State (Includes Chapter 5 Warning Zone Bypass) DarkspinesSonic 2020-05-03 | Twitch: twitch.tv/DarkspinesSonic Twitter: twitter.com/DarkspinesSonic Under the condition that the character you're controlling is the last one standing (meaning this can work whether you're solo, duo, or trio), if you die with a revival ring equipped while being in a fleeing state that fleeing state will become endless as long as you don't enter a different enemy encounter. You are allowed to re-enter the original battle you set this up with and go back to fleeing without ruining the endless fleeing state. I do want to point out that I have encountered a battle where this glitch did not seem to work, so I can't say that it works for every battle (though I'd say it works with the majority of battles from what I've tested so far). This opens up more opportunities to bypass triggers, get around certain obstacles, and break some things in new ways (this did play a part in the previous short video I made, seen here youtube.com/watch?v=VHCJlgixKqs). For this video in particular, I show that you can use the fleeing state to bypass a warning zone. I then go to show that you can actually follow the tracks beyond that zone to make it to a later part of the chapter, so it's cool to see that it's actually all connected. Enjoy! ^_^

Sonic the Hedgehog (PS3): Mission 12 - Silver - Speed Run (044799) DarkspinesSonic 2020-03-04 | There's an advantage to using Playstation 3 instead of Xbox 360 for this time attack in particular. Due to the difference in how things load in on the PS3 version compared to 360 (worse draw distance), the spiked balls on the roof next to the 4 robots fall down on their own. The way they fall is based on how they are spawned in, which varies based off of your distance away from each of the spawns (which is camera dependent). With favorable spawns it's possible for some of the robots to be defeated without you having to damage them directly with Amy, which saves seconds on PS3 over 360.
