What is needed to make the YesWelder CUT-65DS Plasma Cutter work? ➡ Electricity ➡ Protective mask ➡ Protective gloves ➡ Compressed air ➡ Are hose fitting ➡ Practice
What is the thickest metal that the YesWelder CUT-65DS can cut through? ➡ When using 220V power, I was able to cut through 1/2" steel. I'm not sure what the actual limit is, but that is what I was able to do.
What air pressure should the regulator be set at? ➡ 50.8 PSI
What happens if I try to cut thick metal with 110V? ➡ I tried this, and 1/8th"+ steel didn't work well. With 110V, I would probably recommend sticking to thin sheetmetal.
Does this thing actually work? ➡ Yes, it does! It is exactly what you see in the video. I'm not talented enough for camera tricks. That being said, I have only used it for two weeks before this video, and I don't have any way of knowing how long it will last, because I cannot predict the future.

I also explain how to bypass the solenoid if needed. This style starter circuit can be applied to just about any car. There are multiple ways of doing starter solenoid wiring, and this video shows two different options of start wiring that I personally like. The way that a GM / Chevy starter relay is wired is different that that of an older Ford - style starter relay. In this video I show how to easily add the Ford - style starter relay to a typical starter circuit. I also cover the benefits of adding a mega-fuse to the main starter feed wire, and the benefits of using a Ford - style starter relay.
Some benefits of using a Ford style starter relay: - It will remove power from the longest length of starter wire when not actually starting the engine (safer) - It simplifies the wiring on the starter solenoid itself - It provides a great power source under the hood - It allows you to easily bump the starter / crank the engine from under the hood - It *may* help with big block chevy hot start issues. (This works from some people, but is not a guarantee.)

Hotrods & Off Road | @WiringRescueWiring Rescue2022-01-21 | This video shows how to easily wire a wiper motor into anything! It has two speeds AND has a working park position. I used a universal windshield wiper switch, a 5-pin bosch-style automotive relay, and a 1987-95 Jeep Wrangler windshield wiper motor.
I used the Jeep Wrangler wiper motor for several reasons: - It's a really cheap wiper motor - It looks simple and clean under a hood - It has wires coming out of it, so there is no need to find a matching pigtail. - It came with the wiper transmission arm bracket - I didn't need intermittent wipers or windshield sprayers.
The Jeep Wrangler YJ Wiper Motor Colors: - Red - 12v Ignition - Black - Ground - Green - Low Speed - Yellow - High Speed - White - Park
5 Pin Relay Wiring for Jeep Wiper Motor: - Pin 86 (white) and 87 (yellow) together attaches to L Terminal on switch - Pin 30 (blue) attaches to white wire on wiper motor - Pin 85 (black) goes to ground - Pin 87A (red) attaches to green wire on the wiper motor
Universal Wiper Switch - L Terminal (goes to pin 86 + 87 on relay) - H Terminal (goes to yellow wire on motor) - P Terminal (not used) - B Terminal (12v Ignition)

Make Them Blink! | @WiringRescueWiring Rescue2021-10-05 | In this video, I explain how to fix your LED turn signal bulbs that don't flash when installed into a car, truck, or motorcycle. In short, it is because LED lights do not draw enough electricity (amperage) through the older style turn signal flashers to make them flash properly. The fix for this problem is to replace the older style turn signal flasher with a more modern LED turn signal flasher. LED flashers have tiny circuit boards inside them, and do not require the same amount of electricity flowing through them for them to blink. That is not the only potential problem that you may have though. The new LED flasher also needs to be wired properly. If not, the lights will stay on and will not blink.
Below is a list of the relays, the LED and non-LED turn signal flashers, fuses, the incandescent and LED 1157-style bulbs, 1157 style bulb sockets, and the 3 way toggle switch I used to make the entire circuit in the video work properly.

Light + Simple + Great Price?!Wiring Rescue2021-09-23 | 🔗 YesWelder TIG 205DS: yeswelder.com/?ref=zvnxmfrkpa Coupon code "RattyMuscleCar"
What is included with the YesWelder TIG 205DS? ➡ The actual YesWelder ➡ 110/220 volt adapter ➡ Torch with finger control ➡ Extra TIG torch cups & collets ➡ Pedal control ➡ Slag brush ➡ Gas hose ➡ Stinger clamp (for stick welding) ➡ Ground clamp
What is needed to make the YesWelder work? ➡ Electricity ➡ Welding mask ➡ Welding gloves ➡ Gas regulator ➡ 100% Argon gas tank ➡ Tungsten (2% Thoriated is what I used) ➡ TIG Filler rod (Steel or stainless) ➡ Stick Welding Rod ➡ Practice
Can the YesWelder TIG 205DS Weld Aluminum? ➡ No. It is meant for welding Steel and Stainless Steel.
What happens if I try to weld Aluminum? ➡ I tried. It doesn't work. It basically heats the metal until it melts (internally), but since it is DC only, it doesn't have the ability to clean or burn through the oxide layer on the aluminum. The metal ends up looking like the top of a frozen lake that somebody drained all the water out of. It's really weird. The bottom line is, you need an A/C TIG to weld aluminum.
Why would I want a TIG welder that cannot weld aluminum? ➡ TIG welding allows you to be extremely precise with the amount of heat and filler that you put into the work. This often means less warping, and less grinding welds when you want to make your work pretty.
It seems like too good of a deal, does this thing actually work? ➡ Yes, it really does! It is exactly what you see in the video. I'm not talented enough for camera tricks. I normally use my name brand TIG that cost me an absolute fortune, and weighs about a million pounds. This YesWelder TIG definitely welds thin steel just as well as my name brand TIG, and I can carry it around with one hand. The portability of this is awesome. I don't have any way of knowing how long it will last, because I cannot predict the future, but I will say that it is a great little machine for a first time welder.

Thank you kindly for your support! How Does a Turn Signal Flasher Relay Blink The Lights on Your Car | Truck | Motorcycle?Wiring Rescue2021-08-21 | How does a turn signal flasher relay blink the lights on your car? How does a flasher work? Do you want to actually SEE the clicking noise happen in REAL TIME!? Well, this video reveals this mystery. You see, it's the turn signal flasher making that clicking noise that you hear. Now, the turn signal flasher has a bimetallic spring inside of it that heats up as the electricity flows through it. When it warms up, the little metal spring bends, and breaks the electrical connection for the turn signal which turns the lights off momentarily. Then the bimetallic spring cools back down, and the contact is made again, which turns on the lights and restarts the cycle again.
If you try to use LED lights with a flasher that has a bimetallic spring inside, it won't work, because LED's do not draw enough electricity through the circuit to heat up the spring inside the flasher. This means your LED lights will turn on, but not flash. To correct this problem, you need to replace your old style turn signal flasher with one meant for LED bulbs. These flashers work with a tiny circuit board instead of a bimetallic spring. So they will work with LED bulbs and incandescent bulbs.
Below is a list of the relays, the LED and non-LED turn signal flashers, fuses, the incandescent and LED 1157-style bulbs, 1157 style bulb sockets, and the 3 way toggle switch I used to make the entire circuit in the video.

This process is on a 5.3L LM7 (LS style) engine, but it's the same as a 4.8L, or a 6.0, and probably even the 6.2L. This problem is really common on LS swap engines because people tighten old intake manifold bolts too tight and they are very easy to snap off.
To get the broken bolt out, the most important factor is the get good weld penetration of the broken off bolt. Once it is welded to the washer, you have more options. You can weld a nut or a bolt, or even an old screwdriver to the washer. Once something solid is welded to the washer, the broken intake manifold bolt will usually come right out. If it is still tight, you can heat the surrounding area with a torch.

This truck has around 110,000 miles, and had a loud whining noise coming from the front differential when the transmission was set to "auto" mode. Setting it to "2wd" would make the drivetrain whine go away. This problem happened because it was kept in "auto" mode its entire life. If the truck was kept in "2wd" mode instead, the front differential likely would not have worn out. So after this repair, it will be kept in "2wd" and only switched to "auto" when the road conditions deem it necessary.
This procedure is likely very similar for many GMC and Chevy Trucks, Tahoe, Suburban, Denali, Avalanche, Escalade, Silverado and Sierra.

In this video, I show how to replace the waterpump on this 2015 Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi V8 Engine. It is probably the same process for a 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.7L Hemi. This water pump was leaking from the front of the housing behind the pulley. The bearing on the front of the water pump was trashed as well and had a lot of extra play in it. This caused the waterpump pulley to wobble all around. The truck smelled like antifreeze for the last month or two, so the pump has likely been weeping for quite some time.
Replacing the water pump itself is not very hard, but does take a few hours. The hardest part is removing the fan clutch from the water pump. Once you remove the fan and fan clutch, the rest is a piece of cake.
A few warnings you should know: - The fan clutch has reverse threads where it connects to the pump! - Removing the fan clutch from the water pump is a hassle. If you don’t have a air hammer / air chisel, it’s hard to do. Tapping the wrench while you turn it works a lot of the time if an air chisel is not available. A 1G DSM includes the 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, and Plymouth Laser. When doing a 4G63 turbo engine swap into another car, this MPI relay is usually the most confusing part of the wiring harness. I do my best to show you what the MPI relay does, and how to properly wire it.
4G63 MPI Wires: - Pin 1 - Empty. - Pin 2 - Black w/ green stripe - Goes to the fuel pump from the MPI relay. Many people rewire their fuel pump with 8 gauge wire to make sure it has a strong battery-fed power feed. If doing this, you can use this factory black w/ green stripe on pin 86 of a Bosch relay. Learn how to properly hard wire your fuel pump in this video: youtube.com/watch?v=W2Mr2Zgv1Ck&t=0s - Pin 3 - Black w/ white stripe - Should be given Ignition power. This wire on the MPI relay also goes to pin 110 at the ECU, the Ignition Coil and Power Transistor. - Pin 4 - Red wire - Goes to Pin 107 and 102 on the ECU. It also jumps over to Pin 5 on the MPI relay, and sends power to the Mass Airflow Sensor, CAS, Wastegate Solenoid, ISC, O2 Sensor, Injector Resistor, Purge Control Solenoid, Fuel Pressure Solenoid, and EGR Solenoid. - Pin 5 - Connects to Pin 4 on the MPI relay - Pin 6 - Black wire - Goes to ground. - Pin 7 - White w/ red stripe - goes to pin 56 at the ECU - Pin 8 - Black w/ blue stripe - Goes to Pin 63 and 66 at the ECU. - Pin 9 - Black w/ yellow stripe - This Goes to Pin 108 at the ECU AND the small wire on the engine's starter relay. This should ONLY be given power when the engine is cranking from the starter. The moment you let go of the key (when the engine starts up), this wire should go dead. - Pin 10 - Black w/ red stripe - This should go to a 20A fuse fed right off the battery.

This water pump has 120,000 miles and was making a lot of rotational noise and beginning to weep antifreeze (dexcool) out of the front of the water pump housing. Upon inspection, the water pump pulley was also very loose, which meant the front waterpump bearing was the cause of the rotational noise that I was hearing. In this new LS style engine waterpump design, GM makes it VERY EASY to replace the waterpump with basic hand tools.
TOOLS: You do not need a puller to remove the pulley, just a 10mm socket, 3/8 ratchet, a screwdriver, and a 1/2 inch ratchet for the belt tensioner. In the grand scheme of auto repair, this is a pretty easy repair to do.

I then demonstrate how to wire a 5 pin relay with a negative trigger wire. The benefits of using a negative trigger wire on a 5 pin relay would be - one less power wire going to the relay, and not needing a power wire feeding your switch. This may be beneficial depending on what type of accessories you are wiring into your car or truck. You could use this method for a radiator fan, fuel pump, headlights fog lights, spot lights, LED lights and probably hundreds of other uses.

I upgraded my 1964 Chevy Impala from the stock front drum brakes to front disc brakes. My brakes have been terrible ever since. Over the years, I tried changing the calipers, master cylinder, proportioning valve, and even brake hoses. None of these things seemed to help make my brakes work well. The pedal was always way too low and the brakes didn't feel like they worked well.
In probably 2017 I swapped my master cylinder from whatever size it was at the time (maybe 7/8" bore?) to one with a bore that was 1.125 in diameter. Instantly the brakes were "better" but terrible for different reasons. Now the brake pedal didn't move much at all, and the rear brakes were locking up if I stepped on the brakes more than a little bit.
2020 arrived and I decided that I was going to finally make the disc brakes work properly on my Impala. So - I started with lots of research. I found that a 1972 Chevy C10 Truck with a 1.125 master cylinder bore, uses front calipers with 3" bore pistons, and 1" bore rear wheel cylinders. Since my 64 Impala had 1" bore rear wheel cylinders and a 1.125" bore master cylinder, I knew that adding 3" bore front calipers should essentially give me the same brake setup as a Full size Chevy truck, which must work. I then set out to find front calipers with 3" pistons inside them (link below). Luckily CPP (Classic Performance Products) had what I needed (link below).

Fans / Fuel Pump / LightsWiring Rescue2020-05-01 | This is a how-to video for wiring a 5 pin Bosch-style Automotive relay. I’ve created an actual circuit for you to follow along with, and I explain how they work. Relays are important to have for Fuel Pumps, Electric Fans, Horns, Aftermarket Lights, etc. They protect the switch from damage by passing the higher amperage through the relay instead of the switch. In this specific diagram, it is wired as a "positive trigger" relay. That means that you are controlling the positive side of the circuit with a switch, rather than the negative side.
0:00 How to Wire a Relay 0:52 Pin 30 - Power goes into this from the battery. 1:05 Pin 87 - Power comes out of this and goes to your accessory with the switch ON. 1:23 Pin 86 - Power goes into this from the switch. 2:01 Pin 85 - Goes to ground. 2:15 Pin 87A - Power comes out of this with the switch OFF. It doesn't need to be used. 2:36 Relay Diagram Recap
How to Wire a Relay: Pin 30 – Power goes INTO this pin from a 12v power source (This could be a battery or fuse box). You should always run a fuse in between the power source and the relay. The fuse size depends on what you are powering. See this video to learn about proper fuse sizing. youtu.be/EhzN6UdnmPA
Pin 87 – Power will come OUT of this pin. This pin needs to be connected to the power side of your accessory (LED light, fuel pump, radio, etc.)
Pin 86 – Power goes INTO this pin FROM the toggle switch. The other side of the switch should be connected to a power source (A battery or fuse box.) Theres should always be a fuse in between the power source and switch. See this video to learn about proper fuse sizing. youtu.be/EhzN6UdnmPA
Pin 85 – This connects to ground. The chassis, body, negative terminal on battery should all work if they are already grounded properly.
Pin 87a – Power will come OUT of this pin when the toggle switch is turned OFF. This pin is not always needed and can be ignored if so.
