Move - By CTP #ObeyERC #Deer4kEC CTP 2016-02-01 | Hey guys, I am super excited to bring you guys my Obey Next Generation Editing Recruitment Challenge Response! I took a bit of time to work on this edit, because I wanted to make it my best. It was a bit fast paced, but I needed 8 of the provided clips, and so I used 10 provided clips, and one not provided. I saw this RC two days late, and I wasn't going to make a response, but I thought about it, and I turned the edit that I just started into my RC response. I tried a lot of new things with the motion tracking, the pace, and some of the syncing. I also edited AW and Ghosts for the first time, and my first multi-cod edit. I love how clean this edit looks, and I am proud of the final result. I am not submitting this video yet. I am going to wait until I am finished with my player response, and I am going to compile my clips with the edit, and upload it and submit it all together. The render time was just over 21 minutes, and it took a total of around 10-12 hours to edit this. I haven't made an edit in a while. I had a RedERC in the works, but I decided to stop working on it due to a lack of motivation. I wasn't going to make a response to this contest, but I found a really good song, so I decided to make a response. I did rush this edit because I started a bit late into the contest and I thought the due date was the 17th, but on Wvvy's video it says the 20th. I didn't do the best on the motion track masking, but it gets the point across. The requirement was a minimum of 3 clips, but I this song is so perfect that I had to go further with it. The edit probably could have been better if it was shorter, but I wanted to center the video around the song as well. I enjoyed making this edit and I just focused on making it look clean and have it flow well. I'm tired of all these newer editors throwing glitchy-colorful effect presets at any moment they can. Thanks to Wvvy and Vash for trying to resurrect this dissipating community. Сегодня я влюбился в тебя - By CTP #InFaERC CTP 2017-10-22 | Hey guys, here is my InFa ERC response. I haven't worked on an edit for about one to two months, so I decided to give this one a shot. I synced up most of the edit the day the RC came out, but I got too busy with school work, so I didn't end up finishing most of the edit up until this final weekend. I love this song, and the name of the edit probably makes no sense because I cut out the Russian lyrics of the song so I could actually make an edit I could finish. I usually title my edits based on the song name, so it is "Сегодня я влюбился в тебя" or "Today I Fell In Love With You", (by Shyler) which I motion tracked in the first cinematic. I have really been enjoying the band Shyler, so most of my edits will probably feature their songs from now on. Some of the cinematics could definitely be better, but I do like the overall sync and effects. I do think the edit came out nicely for the time I put into it. Last Time - By CTP #SoaRRC Scrap (Skip 30 Seconds) CTP 2017-09-23 | Hey guys, I started making this edit the day the RC came out, and I had some high hopes for it. I did all the syncing and everything pretty quickly, and so I wanted to work on a 3D intro scene for the edit and a few other cool motion track motion designs throughout the various cinematics, but I let go of that idea because after I created the intro scene, my PC just couldn't handle all of the assets in the scene. Not only would it cause major slow downs to my PC's performance while editing the scene, there was no chance I could render it and finish the cinematics. Looking back at the edit, I did really like the beginning and everything, but I gave up because I knew I couldn't finish it. I hope you guys enjoy this scrapped edit. I will be working on more projects in the future. I thought this would be a great song for me, but it just wasn't my style at all. I guess any song at 3 am sounds pretty good regardless of what it is. I hope you enjoy this short scrap.

Not my best work. I finished this in a few days before vacation so there are a few things I never got to fix and effects I never got to add. I have been really inactive due to vacation and ACT prep and a bunch of other things. But I am going to start uploading again, maybe streaming, and my next new edit will hopefully be good. I wanted to do a lot more with this edit, but I ran out of time because of all of the school work I have due to it being the last few weeks of school. I wanted to do some more masking on the cinematics and I wanted to do a few more motion tracks. Also, on the final still cinematic, I wanted to have blood dripping down the wall, but like I said, I didn't have the time. I had some creative ideas for the song including text effects, but I never really got around to doing them. I started this edit a few days after the challenge came out, but then I stopped working for a couple weeks, then I came back and I finished it up. Some of my cinematics messed up and sort of broke the flow, but I guess that's fine. Other people deserve the spot in Myth more. Screaming Inside - By CTP #ObeyERC2K17 CTP 2017-05-08 | Hey guys, here is my final response to the #ObeyERC2K17. I might put up an HQ download because YouTube destroyed the quality. I started a little late, and so I am uploading it at pretty much the last possible minute. I had a few more ideas for this edit, that I didn't have time to create. For example, I wanted the final MW3 killcam to have the gun masked out via green screen on PC, but I couldn't get controller support in time, and it was a big hassle. I wanted to have a text effect on the grind jumping cinematic, but I had motion tracking issues, and then I ran out of time. And I also wanted to motion track the "Music by Shyler" text on that sign, but the motion tracking wouldn't complete, so I settled for some 2D text. Overall, I liked the intro scene, I had bigger ideas of course, but I think it came out fine. I guess everything else was pretty much normal, nothing too crazy or anything noticeably bad. I liked editing this, and trying different cinematics and using some stranger clips than I am used to. I spent a lot of time with render issues, and I had to render it out in parts, because my After Effects was being weird. I know I won't win, but this was fun for me to edit, despite all of the render issues I had. Maybe some new people will notice me, but who knows. I wanted to keep it all new-gen because older games like MW2 and BO2 are stale, too easy, and not aesthetically appealing. This also gives me a chance to work on cinematics on the newest games and work on my flow. I wanted to edit this like an episode or teamtage and not like an over-edited mini that you often see for recruitment challenges, which confuses me because you won't be editing with crazy effects for episodes, because it's supposed to be about the clips. I made all of my cinematics on my PS4 because it would be too time consuming to get PC cinematics for games I do not have yet, and for BO3 which really doesn't have a benefit in PC, other than a FOV scale change. Watch in 1080p because I had to scale up the cinematics to fake the FOV scale due to the 30 FOV scale glitch no longer working on console. I also wanted to do something in Cinema 4D, so I made a low-poly scene with the Dare logo which came out quite nicely. I did mess up and delete a small animation I had, but it looks fine. I do enjoy the edit that I made. I spent the second week of winter break and the first half of my school week on this edit. Most of it was finding out what I should do for cinematic flow and how to implement some effects into my edit, which I often do poorly. I went light on effects because as I said, I am not very good at them, but I think the flow makes up for that. I spent 2.5 days rendering the 3D intro scene I made. I had some trouble with rendering, cinematics, motion tracking, and some points where it didn't flow well. I have been listening to a lot of Stephen on Soundcloud recently, so I decided to make an edit to one of his songs. I have plans for some other songs, but they might never happen. The Fritz - By CTP (Naval Strike #5) @NavalAviations CTP 2016-12-20 | Hey guys, this is actually a pretty old edit a did about 1 and a half months ago for a team called Naval. They hit me up on Twitter after I was supposed to do some other projects, but I ended up getting this one. I liked the flow on this edit and I really enjoyed this song which is hard for me to say about many of my edits. It gets a bit repetitive with the cinematics and there are no effects, but I focused mainly on sync and flow for their comeback teamtage. I did want to get this done pretty quickly because of school, but I couldn't send it over because they were waiting for Utero to send them the money because he was originally supposed to do this edit, but they gave it to me instead. It was uploaded to their channel a few days ago, so I decided to finally upload it myself. I hate the 3D motion track in this edit, I was having major trouble with the cameras so I had to just go with some pretty bad tracking. But I think the rest of the edit makes up for it. I really like this edit for how fast I did it (about one weekend due to school. There were about 32 clips). I hope you guys enjoy this edit!
CTP: Campaign Shots - Ep. 1 @CastTheatre CTP 2016-12-03 | Hey guys, I haven't had Playstation Plus for the past week, so I decided to play the campaign and I also hit some trickshots as well. I also got my FNG time down to a 10.35 which puts me at #87 in the entire world. Anyways, I was going to make this a little video, but I decided to just make it into a montage because I think it is more enjoyable. The first shot I hit was the closer. I hit a friendly fire shot, and I am not 100% sure who I hit because if you look, I don't shoot anywhere near Price or the others. I did go out of the map and I noticed that there are people you can hit all the way across the field, but I still don't know who I hit. Either I hit a crossmap shot or bullets curve. Anyways, I wanted this to just be clean and focus on the sync and the shots. I also wanted to create the ending so it looked like the screen when you die in campaign, where it shows you a quote. I also wanted to give credit to Eclat on soundcloud because he's a beast and makes some great music. Pretty Peggy - By CTP #HEC CTP 2016-11-06 | Hey guys, here is my first ever edit for Infinite Warfare. I am really upset that they don't have theatre mode for Infinite Warfare or Modern Warfare Remastered. Somehow Unchained made cinematics for Infinite Warfare at 300 fps, so either his GPU is insane or there are PC commands you can use. He also has super smooth motion on like 80 cinematics, so I don't if there are dolly cams or not. I have been listening to this band called Wolfmother a lot, after Terxs used one of their songs. This is one of their less noticed songs and softer than their usual rock songs. Since I couldn't use cinematics, I made a simple pink background with a grunge on it. I made the cursive text look like it was being written, but it didn't flow too well, so I made it match the grunge and skip every few frames. I kind of just wanted this to be a simple and chill edit with some good syncing, and I think I did that well. I started this last weekend and finished it a few days ago despite the fact that I had mid terms all this week, so I couldn't work on this edit very much. Then the Horizon Editing Recruitment Challenge came out on Twitter, so I decided to make this my response. Plus, if you guys watched until the end, you will see the name and logo of my new team that I created called Sapphire Visuals or S_Visuals, like the Sapphire plugin used for editing. Well, most of the clips. Some of the clips I am saving, was too lazy to put in, or have already been featured on my channel. But I just wanted to clearout my old trickshots, feeds and funny moments on these games. I also have a Battlefield 1 clip that I got from the beta. Video About A Good Song, Bad Editing & Azzas (OLD SCRAP) CTP 2016-10-22 | RIP all of the bullet trails that flew all the way to heaven Hey guys, here is an old edit that I made back about 3 or 4 months ago. This was supposed to go up on the Diva channel, but Suspend got kicked or something. Now that I watch back this edit 3 months later, I realize it is kind of garbage, hence the title of this video. I kind of blew it with a great song like this. There were only a few spots that I truly liked, and it was really only syncing. Effects were horrible, my cines were garbage, and the editing was hard because almost all of these clips were azzas, and he shot WAY too early, so it was hard to edit it and make it look clean. I did like my motion track placement, but I should have made some cleaner cinematics for the intro piece. I am kind of relieved this didn't go up on Diva because I'd get a lot of flak for it. This is a very common occurrence of an editor editing an Ep for Diva and having the player get kicked, and then the Ep never gets released. There is a second version of this edit with a few different clips that I removed because they were kind of garbage so I don't know if I will ever upload that. Also, Sensei wanted me to lower the gun sounds and change effects around. I changed a clip out, and it turns out I changed the wrong one, so that also contributed to this never getting uploaded. The only thing that I appreciate was that there was a mixture of games in this Ep. This didn't take me too long to edit, and I was going to scrap it at first, but I just finished it anyways. I also decided add in some editing contest intros. I changed the final clip from a sniping clip from an InFa member to some trickshots from L7 Finny, because he would like to upload it to his own channel. Anyways, about the edit. I made some changes to my pan/crop which look a bit nicer, because I noticed that my old pan/crop was a bit light and didn't have much emphasis, and looked off tempo. I used another grunge CC to match the hard core song "Goofy Goober" from Spongebob. I made my own cinematics, minus the MW2 death cinematic, because I was too lazy to make my own. I went a bit lighter on effects, and wanted to give it a Spongebob vibe with the overlays I put on, and other random things I did. I had some issues with the edit, because my After Effects settings were messed up, and so I had some issues rendering it. It didn't take me that much time to make this edit, but it did take me a while because of school, and because I loved just previewing it. I hope you guys enjoy the final product of my #InFaERC! Too Long - By CTP (ft. L7 Jonson) #ObeyERC2K16 #InFaERC @InFaBirdie CTP 2016-10-01 | Hey guys, here is my final #ObeyERC2K16 and #InFaERC response. This is also a hitmatker episode for L7 Jonson entitled "Blue Balls #1". I did start this before InFa publicly announced the recruitment challenge, so I do understand if they want to disqualify me. Although, I did have a limited amount of time on this edit. I have had this project for about 3 weeks to a month, but I have only been able to work on the weekends, which really hurt me, because I could have finished in about a week if it was still summer. I had a LOT of file issues near the end of this edit. I will have a commentary about that soon, but here is a text version if you want to read it: I finished the edit on Sunday last week. I wanted to make that 3D cinematic saying "CTP Presents" in a program called Maya. I misjudged my GPU and RAM count (GTX 960, upgrading to a GTX 1070 soon) (RAM: 8GBs, upgrading 16+ soon) (Upgrading to SSD soon) and the time it would take to render out water. It took a few DAYS to render only 133/200 of the frames. I let it render 24/7 from Tuesday night to Friday night. On Friday, I left for my vacation house. I transferred all of the project files as well as the 133/200 frames to a Seagate 1TB External Hard Drive. I got to my house and plugged in the HDD, and it transferred only a fraction of the files! NEVER BUY THINGS FROM SEAGATE! I was super upset and felt kind of hopeless. But I remembered I had rendered the unfinished edit Thursday night while I was asleep, just in case I did not have time on Friday after school to render it (I didn't have time), or if my laptop was not powerful enough to render it. So I went on my phone and luckily I left my PC on at home so I could use Chrome Remote Desktop to access the files. I had to put the Maya frames into a WinRAR and upload it to Mediafire. And then I had to compress the 8 GB render down to 200 MB so I could upload it. Since my PC had been on for over a week straight with no rest, it took over an hour to compress something that took my laptop only 2 minutes to do. I waited it out, and uploaded that to Mediafire as well. I then had to create a new After Effects file to add in the new Maya cinematic into the incomplete edit. Since it was not the edits original Project File, and it was just an MP4, I had to remake the CC, shake, blur, and bars for the Maya cinematic. I would have remade the Yemen still cinematic and I would have fixed up the Vertigo ladder motion track cinematic, but I couldn't because I do not have the original Project File on my laptop, because it would be forever before my PC at home could compress all of the files and upload it to Mediafire. You may ask why I didn't restart my PC through the remote desktop, to let it rest for a few minutes and have it come back on in "full health". Well that is because it might not let me reconnect back through the Chrome Desktop App. I was not willing to take that risk. So, I do have a few mistakes in this edit, but overall I am happy with the outcome. I wish I could have stayed home to make these final touches possible (Parents insisted on leaving right when I got home).Anyways, I stated pretty much all of my opinions about this edit in the paragraph above. I enjoyed working with Jonson and his clips. He chose this song, and I was sort of skeptical at the beginning, but the song really fit this edit well. Sorry for the inactivity recently. I was bored, so I decided I could spend my last few days of summer making this. I did this in about 1.5 hours, and my computer has been running kind of slow recently. I wanted to make a colorful CC to fit the edit, and it is a bit too bright on some of the clips. I do need to fix up some syncing on a few clips. I need to re-edit the MW3 resistance shot's killcam, because It is all wonky. I was gonna scrap this, but I decided just to keep going with it. I am not gonna win anyways, but I just have a list of good songs that I am going to use, and I want to make them count. I also need to add pan/crop, effects and cinematics. No BO2, so it is gonna be a bit harder to make some good cinematics. I thought one more edit for the summer, and since there was no recruitment challenges, I just decided to make a little filler edit. I went for more of a hardcore type like Tyrant, with the grunge effects and all of that. I used one of my go-to songs for this edit. I really love this band, ever since Tyrant used "The Hard Part". I tried using different effects though, but I used a similar style. I liked the intro, by not using 3D text, which does get a little boring, so I decided to switch it up. And of course, I had to add in all of the twitch effects, to give it a nice vibe. I have a few other edits that I want to make using other songs sort of similar to this. Go For It - By CTP (ft. Myth Texzl) #LE25 @Texzl CTP 2016-08-01 | Hey guys, here is a leftover mini that I made for my friend Myth Texzl. I am using this as my Lucid 25,000 Recruitment Challenge Response, but I had to use all Myth logos and intros because it was made for someone in Myth. I was originally supposed to have Texzl's introducing to Myth, but there are some principles set, and long story short, I can't edit it unless I was in Myth. This is easily one of my better edits, with a few Zant style cinematics, Cristo 2D text, Intel's 2D text motion tracking, Tyrant style effects from his old style, and of course my own twist on all of it, which I think I pull together quite nicely in this edit. I think I am finally mastering my own sort of style of editing, and I am proud of it. I have been toning down the pan crop, as I did in this edit. I tried working a bit harder on the CC, effects and cinematics in this edit. I made all of the cinematics with my own CFG. I spent a little extra time making a more "interesting CC", and I made effects that aren't overused or bland. I have been spending more time on effects, and adding more adjustment layers, and I think what I did here really matched the song style. Speaking of the song, I thought it was fairly good for editing. I did not choose the song, Texzl did, and I think it was a good choice. I also have been using my pan crop style transitions to really help the flow of the edit, and I think the combination of my transitions and the cinematics looked very clean. I have been spending more time to mask out parts of the scene to create the fire effect in between the standoff and raid clips, which made a great transition. Also, I liked the transition from the raid clip, back into the second raid clip. I also used the masking technique on the Studio clip, and I tried to use an outline that looked like electricity to match the shock charge feel. I spent a total of 5 days on this, and I was very productive. I edited this like it was an episode, and it came out just as good as an episode, in about 1/3 of the time. I am not only getting better, but I am getting faster too. It took about 30 minutes to render or something like that. I am too lazy to check. I am happy to bring you guys this edit! Crossing Winds - By CTP #RedRC Editor Submission Powered by @Soylent #Quake500 CTP 2016-07-11 | Hey guys, here is my final Red Reserve 300K Recruitment Challenge Response! I didn't do as well as I thought I would, because it didn't come out 100% as planned. I did have a few issues on the opening scene with the cloud text in the sky, which still doesn't look great, I had trouble getting new effect ideas, and the song was difficult to work with. The song was pretty repetitive, in a good way, so it was easy to find beats, but I had to sync it extremely fast. Most people might not like that, but I tried editing it slowly, and it didn't fit with the fast paced music. I like the intro and outro, and I liked my pan crop, and how I did some new things with the transitions. I know I didn't have a whole lot of cinematics, but I am okay with that, I didn't have enough time to get cinematics for 20 clips. Oh yeah, I editing 20 clips. I got most clips from the Obey clip pack from their RC, because I was too lazy to search for too many Red clips. I did this in about a week and a half, because I am leaving for a trip today, and so I won't be uploading very much this week. This also effected how long I could work on this edit. Render took about an hour and a half at 720p 30fps. Crossing Winds - By CTP (#RedRC Preview) READ DESC CTP 2016-07-06 | Hey guys, here is a preview of my RedRC response. I used Jacoo again, so I can't monetize or anything, but I love their music. Skip to about 40 seconds because I have not done any of the cinematics, and the first 40 seconds are all cinematics and it will say, CTP Presents, His RC Response, In Association With, The Red Reserve, In an Edit, Entitled, Crossing Winds. I need to do the cinematics, and I need to finish effects. The syncing, pan/crop and the CC is finished. It is all a matter of effects and cinematics. I need to finish this before Monday, which is when I go out of town. I edited 20 clips, and it is a very face paced edit. I tried editing this edit slower, but the song is so fast, that it just didn't look right. I worked on my pan/crop and did those clean zoom in transitions, and changed up my shake settings to fit only important beats in the song. Since there were so many beats that were very close to each other, I lowered my screen pumps from 105% to only 103%, so it isn't a seizure on your screen. Internet - By CTP (1HC) CTP 2016-07-03 | Hey guys, I used my own clips in the short 1 hour challenge. I didn't add any effects because it is a very chill song, so I kept it simple and to the point. I liked the pan crop in this and the flow. I rendered it in 24 FPS because it was slow and it just looked right that way. I did this on my laptop in an hour, but for some reason, my file corrupted and I spent tons of time recovering it. When it did recover, the second hitmarker skipped a few frames, so it does jump a bit when I shoot the gun. I transfered my RedERC, but it failed, and I can't work on it for a few days, and I was going to start a second file to just compile it later on, but now all of the clips won't open. I don't know what is happening but I have the worst luck. I am not sure if the quality is still 720p throughout because my laptop has a low resolution screen and it is hard for me to tell. I hit these clips in the same game. This was my last game before I left, as well. If you guys are wondering how I got the AUG, it is because the recovery tool I use makes all of the classes have an AUG and a suppressed desert eagle. Gives my trickshots some more style, so I am glad I hit it. A quick note to Nikky and Qwerty; I realize I have 2k subscribers, but most of my subscribers are inactive, so if you guys would consider this good enough for underrated, that is your call. Anyways, when I first saw this contest, I decided not to go for it because I knew there would be a lot of better edits for the 4 months it would be up for. But I saw it got extended and thought I would try to make a "story-line" edit on PC. I barely ever edit PC, but I think I created a pretty good "story". There isn't dialogue or anything, but if you pay attention, it is the movement of a soldier through a hostile facility, and when he reaches the end, the countdown that you saw at the beginning is there, and when it reaches zero... "BOOM". Just a short story that I spent some time on. I technically "directed" this, and created all of the cinematics by myself. I like how this turned out, even though I did sort of mess up the 3D. I did like most of the 3D stuff except for the knife kill. I just thought I would try something new. I have been listening to Jacoo on SoundCloud for a while, and I really like their music, so I have a few edits I want to make with their songs. I worked on this edit about 1 or 2 weeks into May. I spent most of my time directing and recording which took a lot of time. Flame - By CTP #TheRise #ColtERC #REVEC #Sephileny #DGEC (READ DESC) CTP 2016-04-15 | Hey guys, here is my final Colt RC response! When I started this edit, it wasn't super good, but I put some more work into it, and it came out pretty good. The cinematics were kind of a pain because I tried to add some style by making turns and curves, and I am not used to that. It didn't come out 100% the way I wanted, but I think it looks pretty good. The effects and everything were pretty chill, and were pretty good. I liked the 3D cinematics. I mixed it up with wall cinematics from my ObeyERC and the twisting 3D texts from my edit powerful. They have some nice style, and makes the edit a bit more interesting. I used my classic pan/crop, blur, and syncing. The syncing was actually pretty good in this edit, and I liked the flow. This took me about a week to edit because I was out of town and couldn't work on it for about a half a week. It took 35 minutes to render, and I am not sure how long it took to edit. I understand that Colt is quite fond of MW2, so I did sort of roll the dice by editing BO3. I also have an MW2 Episode going up on Diva, as soon as I finish it, so be sure to get ready for that. Thank you to Colt for this oppurtunity, and I am so ecstatic to see the team back, and functioning as it was before. Whether I join or not, I cannot wait for what Colt has planned for the future! I am pretty proud of the final product, and I hope Colt enjoys my edit. I decided I would make a PC edit, a few weeks ago, and I wanted to make it an OCC response. Coincidentally, OCC came out with a contest that you could have multiple clips in, and it was a $50 challenge for their 30K special. So, I decided to enter. It is due by the end of today. I had trouble with the speeds of this edit, because I used twixtor, and I believe most people use time remapping, so it looks a bit weird. I just wanted to stray away from a bunch of fancy effects, and make this a really smooth, chill and clean edit that others could peacefully enjoy. I really like how this edit turned out, and I really like the cursive writing effect that I did. Sorry that the gunsounds are so quiet. They were much louder in the editing process, and in the render. Sorry that I entered into so many contests, it just fit that many, and they are all pretty good contests, so I entered them. I am going to be making more PC edits, but probably with time remapping, because I should learn how to do that too. Never Too Far - By CTP #Birdie1K CTP 2016-01-07 | Hey guys, I decided to make this little mini. I tried some new things with the 2D and 3D intro. I made the 3D intro in C4D with TurbulenceFD. By the way, I am no longer in Oxygen because the channel was stolen, and the roster was cleared. I am proud of how this edit turned out. It for some reasion took a bit of time to make for the reason that I kept trying to over sync the first clip, and it made it very frame blendy and laggy, so I had to render and change it about 6 times.
