"Belonging spins itself out from the center of the Self in the form of dreams and synchronicity. These living images call the dreamer forward, step by tentative step along their gossamer threads, into an increasingly intimate conversation with our lives, and embodiment of our soul’s values until we find ourselves anchored in a meaningful life." Recent experimental results show that people can influence others at a distance just by looking at them, even if they look from behind and if all sensory clues are eliminated. Animals can be affected by human looks, and vice versa. People's intentions can also be detected telepathically by animals from miles away. Hundreds of recent tests have also shown that some people can tell who is calling them before they pick up the phone. Our minds seem to extend out beyond our brains both through attention and intention. Rupert Sheldrake will show how his hypothesis of morphic fields could help provide an explanation.
The science delusion is the belief that science already understands the nature of reality, in principle. The fundamental questions are answered, leaving only the details to be filled in. The impressive achievements of science seemed to support this confident attitude. But recent research has revealed unexpected problems at the heart of physics, cosmology, biology, medicine and psychology. In his recent book, Science Set Free, Dr Rupert Sheldrake shows how the sciences are being constricted by assumptions that have hardened into dogmas. Should science be a belief-system, or a realm of enquiry? In the skeptical spirit of true scientific enquiry, Sheldrake turns the ten fundamental dogmas of science into questions, opening up startling new possibilities.

Things were very different in the antiquity. Indeed the evidence shows that many of the greatest civilisations of the past, from ancient Egypt to ancient Greece, and from ancient India to the ancient Americas, enshrined the use of psychedelics as a sacred practice and found immense value in the visions that ensued. Further back still, in the epoch of the great cave art 30,000 and more years ago, recent archaeological research suggests that shamanistic use of psychedelics was instrumental in the birth of the modern human mind. In this talk, Graham Hancock investigates the possibility that by demonizing and criminalizing the use of psychedelics, rather than seeking out ways to harness their power for altering consciousness in safe and nurturing spaces, our society may have set itself on a profoundly negative path -- a path that may even deny us the next step in our own evolution as a species.

Bobroff, M.A., author of Crop Circles, Jung & the Reemergence of the Archetypal Feminine (Aug. 2014), presents a visual consideration of this mysterious phenomenon within the context of modern psychological reality. Looking at both the phenomenon itself, and the nature of the era into which it has arrived, he offers a framework for our own deeper consideration. Living in the moment of the death of one worldview and the birth of another, our culture suffers from an over-masculine inflation that has us alienated and imagining ourselves to be separate. Yet today, we are being presented with crises and mysteries that call us back toward closer participation with the world. Crop Circles—formed in living grain—exemplify the archetypal feminine nature of this moment’s change: a moral calling toward conscious, felt engagement with a dynamic, living mysterious world.
http://gsbobroff.com http://jungandcropcircles.netThe Quest for Gnosis by Gabriel Roberts previewThings Are Changing Productions2014-10-06 | Humanity is fraught with perilous divisions that often follow lines of flawed ideologies and religious structures. Each and every one of us follows our own ‘reality tunnel’ that is custom made by our experiences. Experience is Gnosis in its most raw form and thusly, what we seek to learn will directly effect how we see the world. Gabriel will discuss the term Gnosis in its modern context and how it applies to us as individuals. Through a review of his book, The Quest For Gnosis, Gabriel will show how we may address the pitfalls of our ideologies while detailing how we might harness ancient wisdom as well as the latest of our discoveries in science to form a more expansive, pliable and welcoming cosmology. Gabriel will detail from life experience how these thoughts and processes have fleshed out to create a more honest review of his own strengths and failures, showing how we all might come to a more efficient manner of insight in our own exploration of the great mystery of life.
Researchers at the University of Virginia, beginning with Ian Stevenson, have investigated children’s reports of memories of previous lives for the past fifty years, studying more than 2,500 cases from around the world. Common features in the cases include a child talking about a past life at a very early age, behaviours that appear connected to that life such as phobias related to the mode of death, and sometimes birthmarks or birth defects that correspond to wounds the previous person suffered. Recent work has included the study of some impressive American cases, along with statistical analysis of the various features of the cases that attempts to clarify the processes involved in the apparent memory transfer. Humanity has been visited, taught and nurtured by non-terrestrial beings for at least 35,000 years, construing them according to different cultural frameworks as “spirits”, “elves” or “fairies”, “angels” or even “demons”, and most recently as “aliens”. The same beings and vehicles depicted in the cave art also occur in the much more recent art of surviving shamanistic peoples still living today in remote regions such as the Kalahari and the Amazon jungle. Even more mysteriously, similar experiences and imagery are reported by Western lab volunteers, placed experimentally under the influence of hallucinogens such as DMT, psilocybin, mescaline and LSD. The growing popularity in the West of the Amazonian visionary brew Ayahuasaca (where the active ingredient is DMT) has opened up these experiences of parallel realms and their inhabitants to an ever-growing constituency of North Americans and Europeans. The common factor, which is also fundamental to all forms of shamanism, appears to be altered states of consciousness and, crucially, this does not suggest that these experiences are in any way “unreal”. On the contrary the evidence supports the hypothesis that in deeply altered states of consciousness the receiver wavelength of the brain is altered to allow us to tune into and interact with beings from other levels and dimensions of reality. These beings, Hancock argues are the ancient teachers of mankind. Though much of modern civilization is in a state of rigid denial the fact is that they are still very much in contact with us today. These contacts, and how we as a society react to them – are as fundamental to the future of our species now as they were 35,000 years ago.

They can be felt as acts of grace, or the subtle patternings of a cosmic artist, yet they can also suggest an elusive trickster who demands careful discernment both outer and inner. There seem to be stages that individuals go through in their deepening recognition of the synchronistic dimension of life. Synchronicities can compensate for the one-sidedness of egoic consciousness, and move the individual psyche toward wholeness. They also have, like all things, a shadow side. Most profoundly, they can give us intimations of the numinous. In our postmodern age when all the old metanarratives are contested, awareness of synchronicities has become for many alert individuals a crucial source of spiritual orientation and nourishment.

The ultimate symbolic aim of this desire is the joining of body and spirit. This divine/human inner marriage creates the wholeness that restores one to their nature. The reunion of Psyche and Soma is the healing function in disorder - both in the inner world and outer world. Healing is natural. All one needs is to be returned the their nature. The Jungian tradition explores and employs the vast resource of the image-rich landscape of Psyche. This imaginal world is the well-spring of all wisdom traditions, belief systems and spiritual disciplines. Somatic Attachment Therapy grounds this transcendent wealth in the body through regulation of one's neurophysiology: The body's transmission and reception system. Everything we need is there. Everything we need is here.
