Unfortunately in colour analysis there are no standardized labelling or naming conventions… different systems have potential to use different colours in palettes and do different colour analysis checks. So who cares if in 1 system you may be called X and in another system you may be called Y if ultimately the palette references you receive contain colours that are the same (or pretty much close to each other). The key though is to choose your system you want assessed within and stick to terminology of that system, while not looking at other systems that use different terminology / different palettes / different checks and saying that other system is wrong imo. If you are colour analyzed in same system by 2 colour analysis professionals who attended same training my advice would be to go with more senior professional’s result. If you are unsure of a colour analysis professional’s training, experience and system they use - ask them would be my advice. My bio on my site lists my training and experience with the International Image Institute system (which is a system that is based on 16 season colour analysis… but ultimately based on undertone, value and intensity scale so there are more than 16 result possibilities).
