Smallville | Series Finale Recap jaderoyale 2011-05-14 | PLEASE READ FIRST. BEWARE. SPOILERS.- - - - - - -I am absolutely heartbroken.Don't get me wrong. I am so. Just overwhelmed with the Finale. It was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be and so much more. All I REALLY wanted was flight, that was all I wanted. And I got it. Don't get me wrong, I'm utterly devestated about Tess "HBIC" Mercer. But what a way to go. Flawless woman. She got her redemption. Lois. My perfect, PERFECT woman, always flawless. Her vows. The plane scene. She became THE LOIS LANE. Oliver. You know what? That last shot of Oliver, watching Clark move Apokolips away? It was absolutely stunning, the proud look on his face. I swear he had a tear in his eye. Lex. MEGAMIND. But damn, so good to have had him back, I didn't realise how much I missed him. Same goes for Martha and Jonathan. Perfect, perfect family. JIMMY. I still. Can't. They did right by Aaron and I am so happy. And finally. Clark. There are no words. Only the sound of me sobbing in utter appreciation. I have waited, so long for him to be the way he was in Finale, so long. I was not disappointed, in fact: I was spoilt. We were all spoilt rotten.This is nowhere near as good as it could be. Smallville Cast | Twenty Years jaderoyale 2011-03-23 | READ FIRST. HD does it better. - - - - - - - Hello. It's been a while since I did a cast vid on my own. Thought I'd attempt it. You'll have to excuse the lack of earlier seasons (well not as much earlier seasons as when I collab with Taryn anyway). My Vegas, or my laptop, I can't decide; can't handle all 200+ episodes in my media bin, so I pretty much jotted down certain lyrics and the episodes that came to mind to match them and those were all I used. Plus, as usual, I forgot about Whitney lmfao. In a way I'm pleased with the result because I think I got my point across. I'm having a really bad time at the moment, I won't bore you with that, but to say vidding this helped me is an understatement. This band is my favourite band ever, one of my favourite songs ever and my favourite show (discounting The Greatest Show ever); so to say I got emotional during this is another understatement. Had several moments of tears. This show will be over in two months time and that is so upsetting. I don't think I've ever been this attached to a show before. Muahahah. About a month ago, maybe two, i can't remember. I was listening to this song and i thought, i want to do a cast vid to this. But i was feeling lazy. Inspiration was at an all time low, i knew i could probably do it, but i'd more than likely do half to my best ability the rest terrible, then the idea struck me. ASK TARYN. I did. Taryn said yes straight away which pleased me IMMENSLEY. Taryn did all the work for our last cast collab so this time i went crazy and had a crack. On either of my laptops. So i had to create a new project and i just hand picked random episodes off the top of my head. They weren't what i'd intended to do so i was all MEH. I always do a recap and i felt i should but this isn't. It just isnt my best work at all. I know that. I feel really bad about it actually. GAH. Instrumental music is the bane of my life. Voiceovers are the bane of my life. I wanted to try and get across the epicness of the season as a whole, which yes, means i skipped out some parts; i purely wanted bits that influenced everything that technically happened in the finale (yes Pandora influenced that, don't make me explain, my head hurts). I also had a fit with several voiceovers, bloody loudness of the episode. LOL. Some voiceovers were well quiet so in the end i had to make a new track and adjust the volume on those and then the louder ones underneath on another track and... gah! I was going to end on the Clois kiss because i knew about that, but then came Clark. IN THE RAIN. Okay enough rambling. I can't lol. I'm scared. This is actually the hardest video i've done to date. What a hiatus this is turning out to be. -huge face palm- I knew as soon as i had time off work i'd end up vidding. I'm angry with myself for it. But now the hiatus is back in play. I won't be vidding (at least not Smallville) until after the Season Finale. I hope. Bet something happens in the upcoming episodes that makes me snap and just vid like a mad woman. Considering i started this yesterday at 1pm. Edited for half an hour then reopened it at 2am and finished it by 4am. Sometimes i do feel i excell in the world of awesome, then i get over it. Songs been in my head for days. Its been on my itunes for months yet the past few days my itunes has decided to constantly play it when its on shuffle. So this had to be done. This vid is purely meant to be SUBTLY sexy. Believe me i could have gone full hog and made it bare dirty, but it was like 3am and i was tired. But really, its all about hidden messages. For example; 1:12/1:13 (only Alma and Kim will understand that). And beat matching. Theres one part i actually like and didn't realise i'd done it till i watched the render -shrugs- And the end. YT just won't process it. Its left me down and distraught. I had a cry earlier. I'm that much of a wuss. 5th times a charm apparently. I actually just saw it had processed... and i started to cry. This video has been prepping for two months. I started it two months ago and gave up. I love me some beats but i couldnt decide which ones to hit. So i gave up. Alas a month ago the magnificent Taryn let me in on a secret song she was vidding Clois to. I shared this song with her and then the BLACKMAIL VIDS were born. Basically i finish this for her, she finishes the Clois vid for me. HA. I'm done. -fist pump- Gimmie that vid! LOL. STORY; Basically the same as my last cast vid. I love the insane, and Smallville is insane, the "kids" there aren't alright. I wanted to try and get that across.
