Film Roman is an American animation studio based in Woodland Hills and formerly in Burbank. It was owned by Starz from 2006 to 2015 and is currently owned by Waterman Entertainment, the production company of producer Steve Waterman.
Founded on 26th October 1984 by veteran animator and director Phil Roman, it is best known for providing animation for the Garfield primetime specials, based on Jim Davis' comic strip of the same name. The studio also produced the animated series The Simpsons, The Critic, King of the Hill, Family Guy, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, The Goode Family, and Dan Vs.
My next logo history will be on Cinema International Corporation, featuring its home entertainment division.
This video was released for educational purposes only. I have given credit to the original creators/capturers of the logos/idents featured in the closing credits of this video.
NOTES:
- Logopedia was my main reference for this video (along with a playlist I discovered on TR3X's logo history on the same TV network created by Canal! TV and International Society).
- Logopedia states that the first logo was used in 1962, but according to the Brazilian Wikipedia and TR3X PR0DÚCTÍ0NS, the network launched in 1963, which is why I stated it was introduced in 1963.
I am the first YouTuber in Oceania to do a logo history on this network. I really do enjoy making ident histories on Brazilian TV stations. There's just something about them that makes me want to dig deeper into their history of them. I have been inspired by TR3X PR0DÚCTÍ0NS.
Rede Anhanguera is a Brazilian regional television network that operates in the states of Goiás and Tocantins. Founded on 24th October 1963 (the same day that Goiânia celebrated its 30th anniversary), the network has been an affiliate of TV Globo (then Rede Globo) since 1968. The first affiliate of TV Anhanguera was founded in 1976 in the then north of Goiás, which would become the state of Tocantins in 1989.
This video was released for educational purposes only. I have given credit to the original creators/capturers of the logos/idents featured in the closing credits of this video.
NOTES:
- This video might not include all the 3D logo variations of Nickelodeon Home Video, since I got the information from mostly AVID, which had as many of the logos as the website could find.
- This video will not include Nickelodeon Video, primarily because I forgot to do so before rendering. But that's not important and it doesn't matter.
Here are your childhood memories all wrapped up in a videotape and pushed into a laptop.
This video focuses on the idents and logos that Nickelodeon used on their VHS releases. Starting in 1996, when the distribution of Nickelodeon videos switched from Sony Wonder to Paramount Home Video (which Viacom acquired two years later), Nickelodeon alternated between using their station IDs and their first home video ID before ultimately settling with the latter. Since 2009, the 2009 Nickelodeon Productions logo is used as a de-facto home video logo.
My next video will be an ident history of TV Anhanguera.
This video was released for educational purposes only. I have given credit to the original creators/capturers of the logos/idents featured in the closing credits of this video.

Cruisin' on down Main Street! You're relaxed and feelin' good! Next thing that you know you're seein', Scholastic in the neighborhood!
Scholastic Corporation was founded on 22nd October 1920 by Maurice R. Robinson near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to be a publisher of magazines. The American company is now a multinational publishing, education, and media company that publishes and distributes books, comics, and educational materials for schools, teachers, parents, children, and educational institutions. Their media, television, and film production unit was founded in the early 1980s. Clifford the Big Red Dog, a character created by Norman Bridwell in 1963, serves as Scholastic's official mascot.
My next video will be a logo history on Nickelodeon Home Video.

Hi everyone. Thank you for your patience. Things have been happening during this time, including setting up our new TV. Hope you guys enjoy it.
Alliance Atlantis was a Canadian media company that operated primarily as a specialty service operator in Canada, and also had offices in Halifax, Los Angeles, London, Dublin, Madrid, Barcelona, Shannon, and Sydney. They were founded in 1998 as a merger of two companies, Alliance Communications (founded in 1985) and Atlantis Communications (founded in 1978).
On January 10, 2007, it was announced that Alliance Atlantis would be acquired by a consortium of Canwest Global and GS Capital Partners, an affiliate of Goldman Sachs. The company eventually went defunct in 2008.
The Alliance name survived under the Alliance Cinemas banner until 1st January 2021, now owned by Cineplex Entertainment.
This video will take a look at the logos from Alliance Entertainment Corporation, Alliance Releasing, Atlantis Communications, Alliance Atlantis, AAC Fact, AAC Kids and Alliance Films.

I recently discovered the AVID page to this company, and it looked quite interesting, so I decided to give this company a try for a logo history. Enjoy.
The Rainbow Film Company is the film production company of American actor and filmmaker Henry Jaglom, the director of 21 films (so far) including A Safe Place, Last Summer in the Hamptons, and Festival in Cannes. The company still exists today.
Since you guys seem to enjoy my logo histories on defunct companies, I decided to do another one voted by you. Enjoy.
Filmation Associates was an American production company based in Reseda, California that produced animation and live-action programming for television from 1963 until 1989. Their founders and principal producers were Lou Scheimer, Hal Sutherland, and Norm Prescott. In 1981, Westinghouse acquired Filmation, who later on sold the company to Paravision International in 1989. Before that sale was complete, Westinghouse shuttered the film studio on February 3, 1989, which left L'Oréal (a French cosmetics company, oddly enough) with only the Filmation library.

I have decided to do yet another defunct company from the United States, and that is the one founded by the legendary animators themselves.
Ruby-Spears Productions was an American animation company based in Burbank, California, founded in 1977 by veteran writers and Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! creators Joe Ruby and Ken Spears. They had another branch in Rome, Italy. Their library was sold to Turner Broadcasting System, which in turn merged with Time Warner in 1996, and the Ruby-Spears studio closed in the same year after 19 years of operation. Joe Ruby and Ken Spears both passed away in 2020 within three months of each other. Joe Ruby was 87, and Ken Spears was 82.

Even though I got a strike, I'm still going to continue making videos as usual. If I get a second one, however, I'll go on hiatus, but that's highly unlikely going to happen. Hope you guys enjoy and sorry I haven't uploaded for a couple of weeks. School just started this month and that's serious business. But I will still create logo histories, not only to entertain you but to entertain myself as well because I truly enjoy digging through logos.
Note: This video won't include EVERY single Disney television variation, as that would be rather impossible to do. Disney Enterprises has been omitted due to the "logo" being in credit. I have only added every single Disney/Buena Vista television variation I can. This also won't include any production company from Disney Plus, Disney XD, or anything like that. Thank you for understanding.
Disney's TV output from 1954 until 1981 (the anthology series, Zorro, Mickey Mouse Club) had no in-credit text for "Walt Disney Productions" at all, only a copyright stamp at the end of the closing credits; also, the company did not have its own television arm until 1983 as "Walt Disney Pictures Television". In 2000, Walt Disney Television was folded into Touchstone Television (now ABC Signature) while its name continued to be used on new cartoons from Walt Disney Television Animation (now Disney Television Animation, which is now a unit of Disney Branded Television) until 2003 when it closed down.

Something I decided to make out of boredom a few days ago. Haven't made a YTP in such a long time so I decided to slam one out.
I believe this YTP is considered fair use due to it being a mash-up/remix. Credits go to the TV show, Working Lunch. According to the BBC Archive, this particular source came from an episode from 8th April 1997.
Welcome to yet another logo evolution. Slammed this one out yesterday. Logo Evolutions are rather easy to make.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH! I'M JONTY......MASTER......AND.....WELCOME.....TO THE 264TH....EPISODE....OF.....LOGO HISTORYYYYYY *gets sucked into the Worldvision tornado*
Note: This video only includes the Worldvision companies, not the ones from ABC.
Worldvision Enterprises was an American television program and home video distributor established in 1973 as the successor of ABC Films. They primarily licensed programs from others, rather than producing their own content. In 1979, Worldvision was sold to Taft Broadcasting, and was later sold to Aaron Spelling in 1988 and became part of Spelling, Inc. In 1999, Viacom acquired the rest of the Spelling Entertainment Group, and folded the distribution arm of Worldvision into Paramount Domestic Television.
My next logo history will be on Walt Disney Television.

After years of not uploading a logo evolution, I have decided to refurbish the series. The style is heavily inspired by Peter John, who is a logo history creator that does videos similar to this, however, I decided to make it so that it is not a complete copy of the YouTuber, as I don't want to plagiarize. I hope you understand. This is just a test for the new style. I might add some changes to it, or I might not. The text-to-speech voice used is Michael (US) from Watson Text to Speech Voices. I decided to use this voice because it sounds very clean and is a good voice for explaining things. Some of the pronunciations might be wrong, though.

To start off the year, I decided to do a logo history on a classic television company, Four Star, which will be nostalgic to some who have been part of the logo community since the early/mid-2010s. Wishing you all the best for 2023!
Four Star Television was an American television production company. Founded in 1952 as Four Star Productions by prominent Hollywood actors Dick Powell, David Niven, Charles Boyer, and Joel McCrea, who later left and was replaced by Ida Lupino as the fourth star—although Lupino did not own stock in the company. Powell became President of Four Star within a few years of its formation and, in 1955, Four Star Films, Inc. was formed as an affiliate.
In late 1958, Four Star Productions and Four Star Films were merged into a new holding company called Four Star Television. After Powell's death in 1963, Four Star was led by Thomas McDermott, followed by Aaron Spelling. It was then purchased by David Charnay, and subsequently was sold to Ron Perelman, who sold it to 20th Century Fox Television in 1996. In 1997, Four Star went defunct after a purchase to New World Television.
My next logo history will be on Worldvision, then Walt Disney Television.
Merry Christmas to all the world! This logo history is not only to celebrate the yuletide cheer but is also a tribute to Arthur Rankin Jr. and Jules Bass themselves. They are both remembered for bringing the Christmas spirit to the box.
Rankin/Bass Animated Entertainment was an American production company located in New York City founded on 14th September 1960 by Arthur Rankin Jr. and Jules Bass. The company was first known as Videocraft International until 1968, although the Videocraft label continued to be used in bylines. Rankin/Bass eventually shut down its production company on 4th March 1987 after its last series output.
Notable films from Rankin Bass include Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964), Frosty the Snowman (1969), and Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town (1970).
Not sure what the next logo history will be. Might need to do a poll.

I decided to do a logo history on Grundy in tribute to Neighbours. The series itself has recently announced a revival for 2023. This is also a tribute to Reg Grundy himself.
The Reg Grundy Organisation was an Australian-based multinational mass media company, primarily involved in television as a production company but also in distribution and licensing. Founded in 1959 by Reg Grundy, the company first produced game shows, then branched into soap operas in 1973. Reg Grundy sold the company to Pearson Television (now known as Fremantle) in 1995, and Fremantle merged Grundy Television and Crackerjack Productions to form the localized arm Fremantle Australia. Until 2013 the Grundy name still existed internationally in Germany as Grundy Light Entertainment and in Italy as Grundy Productions Italy.
In 1982, Reg Grundy established an American television production division called Reg Grundy Productions.
My next logo history will be released on Christmas Day, and it will be a secret. Feel free to guess in the comments what you think it is.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This video will not include EVERY single variant. I decided to add my favorite variants, including variants included in other logo histories on CBBC, because if I added every variant, then it would be unwatchable.
- This showcases the idents from CBBC only, not the other divisions, subsidiaries, and stuff like that (examples: CBBC on Nickelodeon, CBBC on Choice, CBeebies, & BBC Kids)
Remember when I said I might do a logo history on CBBC in the foreseeable future? Well, I've decided to create it as requested by many of you in the comment section, and those who voted for it to be the 260th logo history.
Launched on 9th September 1985 as a block, CBBC is a British free-to-air public broadcast children's television channel that broadcasts content for children aged 6–12. Founded on 23rd January 1948 as Japan Animated Films, their name changed to Toei Doga in 1956, then Toei Animation in 1998. Based in Nerima (Tokyo), they have produced numerous series, including Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, Digimon, One Piece, The Transformers (between 1984–1990, including several Japanese exclusive productions), and the Pretty Cure series.

NOTES:
- Some of the dates in the idents are guesses (examples: the 2002-c.2007 and 2005-2007 idents.
- This video will not include WKAQ-TV or any of the other affiliates, only Telemundo themselves.
Here is something that I've been wanting to do for months and months. This was hugely inspired by an ident history from TR3X PR0DÚCTÍ0NS on the same network.
Telemundo is an American Spanish-language terrestrial television network based in Miami (Florida) and owned by NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, a division of NBCUniversal, which in turn is owned by Comcast. It provides content nationally with programming syndicated worldwide to more than 100 countries in over 35 languages.
The network was founded in 1984 as NetSpan before being renamed Telemundo in 1987 after the branding used on WKAQ-TV, its owned-and-operated station in San Juan, Puerto Rico (which first started the Telemundo brand on 28th March 1954).

- This video will not include EVERY single variant. I decided to add my favorite variants, including variants included in other logo histories on NBC, because if I added every variant, then it would be unwatchable.
- I have decided to feature logos from NBC Studios (examples: the 1959-63, 1960-66, and 1966-75 "Snake" logos.
- The ident at 13:24 might be fake, but I don't really care because, in my opinion, it's a good way to start the batch of the "living color" ident section, so I'd rather you didn't complain or point out about how it's fake.
The following logo history has been brought to you in living color, on the JontyMaster YouTube channel! This video is also to celebrate the end of my school year, and I got to finish this on the day I had my final exam.
NBC is an American English-language commercial broadcast television and radio network. It is the oldest of the traditional "Big Three" American television networks, having been formed on 15th November 1926 by the Radio Corporation of America.
Twelve years later, NBC Television was launched on 30th April 1939 by David Sarnoff. The television network premiered at the 1939-40 New York World's Fair with President Franklin D. Roosevelt introducing the first broadcast of the network. He was the first U.S. president to appear on television.
