It had soon become a “training song” as the project gradually went from absolute crap-sound to what it is now. One could only understand the progress being made with just one song when hearing the first-ever export of the song from 2016.
'Meteora' together with 'Hybrid Theory' and 'Minutes To Midnight' were some of my favorite records of my early youth and became a perfect bridge between my rap-filled-puberty-ass-mp3 player and more heavy music that I wouldn’t listen to as much at that time.Post Rock/Atmospheric Metal - Hypothermia (Official Audio)Dalibor Krigovsky2021-01-31 | I had been working on this song for some time after finishing AVIAN in 2014. Guitar recordings had some flaws though, sometimes I wouldn’t like the sound, some recordings contained clipping. I was planning to re-record most of the song, however time had passed on and I’d never came back to this project again. After years of moving files between different computers I’ve lost most of the original recordings and many recorded parts of the project so the only thing I got left was audio export of the unfinished song from 2014.
I came back to this after 7 years now and did my best to remaster the original audio and finally release the song.
The story: After I underwent a lumbar puncture and came back home after some time in a hospital, I had to deal with terrible headache that hurt all the time I was not laying on something and lasted for several days. So I spent week at home in bed only. I terribly missed music and I just had to play, but every time I tried to stand up or even sit, I became paralyzed by feeling my head was going to explode.
I solved the situation by moving myself on bed into a position from which I could touch the piano with at least one hand and I had to play like that. So I started playing.
That’s how first verse was made. When I was finally able to sit, I engaged right hand. That’s how this work was made.
It is strange, but this hardly 2 minutes long piece of nothing is probably the most personal, spontaneous and straight-meaning piano song I have ever written. The song was created and recorded in one day.

"Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics. You are all stardust. You couldn't be here if stars hadn't exploded. Because the elements, the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution weren't created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars. And the only way they could get into your body is if the stars were kind enough to explode. So forget Jesus. The stars died so you could be here today." - Lawrence Krauss

I know the title Vernalagnia sounds terrible, but meaning of the word is really beautiful. I started composing this piece at the end of an april, every evening near opened window, while watching sunset.
